Mikoto Ludwigsburg in Ludwigsburg

We ate at Mikoto in Ludwigsburg last night. We enjoyed the food, as always, and are usually very satisfied with the service, except for one of the staff members who always seems very confused and unenthusiastic. My (9-month-old!) daughter wasn't in a very good mood yesterday and consequently fussed a bit and accidentally spilled my sister's drink. The waiter gave us a dirty bucket and a rag :) Oh yes, and asked if we needed gloves?! I've never experienced that before, and I'm 100% sure the rest of the staff would have handled it very differently. Besides, the place wasn't so crowded that he couldn't have quickly wiped it up. I actually wonder if it could be because of our headscarves, or if the gentleman would have handed a German customer the same dirty rag. Nevertheless, we really enjoy eating at Mikoto and would eat there again anytime. Keep an eye on your drinks ;D

Tuan is from Stuttgart to Ludwigsburg, and here, too, the food is excellent, the atmosphere is top-notch, and the service is superb! We'd be happy to come back anytime! Thanks for your help, we had a wonderful 14th birthday party with you.

The most beautiful, delicious, and best location for fine sushi in Ludwigsburg. A modern, chic interior meets Japanese haute cuisine. The ensemble is rounded out by friendly service, delicious cocktails, and, above all, the finest sushi. Steak lovers will also find their money's worth here. Certainly not the cheapest choice for sushi in the city—but for us, by far the best!

A good place with amazing staff. It was a chilly autumn evening, and I was craving something hot and warming. I ordered soup, but was somewhat disappointed. It turned out to be oversalted and spicy, although I didn't see that mentioned on the menu. Also, I got the impression that the tables along the left wall are designed for one person per side, not two. Because when two people sit on the same side, one of them has no room to put their feet because of the table stand. You're constantly forced to sit half-turned.

We spontaneously visited Mikuto in Ludwigsburg last night and even managed to get a table for two without a reservation. The menu is truly exciting – a great mix of sushi, ramen, steak, and much more. To be honest, it was hard to decide because everything sounded good. We ended up with a chicken soup and an Argentinian steak with carrots and zucchini – both were incredibly delicious. The staff was super friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere was just right, too: stylish decor, pleasant music, and a great place to relax. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable evening – we'll definitely be back!

For wheelchair users and the disabled, it is absolutely no problem to eat in this restaurant. Everything is clean and structured. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Since the restaurant is always full, you should always order in advance. A little tip on the side. ; ) The food is really delicious. Borallem it is beautifully prepared. The eye is with. My conclusion: I always enjoy eating here. It always tastes the same.

I was recently at Mikito in Ludwigsburg and was absolutely thrilled. The ambience is extremely beautiful, modern and very elegant - you immediately feel at home. I had the udon noodles with chicken, and they were really delicious - perfectly seasoned and beautifully freshly prepared. The service was also impeccable: friendly staff, quick service and an all-round great experience.

The sushi at Mikoto is really delicious and for me the best sushi restaurant in Ludwigsburg! The price is a little higher but the sushi is quite large and the quality is very high. We were there a week ago. Food, ambience, drinks and staff are all great. However, the desserts could still be improved a lot. Coconut ice cream didn't taste good at all and it was like there was a foil around it. The baked bananas were fried in used fat (maybe there was meat or something else in it beforehand). However, the menu could also be renewed. It almost fell apart and had some cracks. Otherwise we thought it was nice.

Very nice restaurant and very attentive service, we have never eaten such good sushi and the warm dishes were also very tasty. Above all, I would have a huge piece of the BBQ salmon fillet on my plate, it was at least 450 grams, for €22 that was a more than reasonable price. My friend also had a huge salmon fillet on her ramen. The vegetables and fish were perfectly cooked and we didn't even have a bone. We can only recommend ☺️

Order online - underground!!!! It's happened to us for the second time. Never again in the future. We ordered food for 7:30 p.m. Asked again beforehand whether the time was right. When my husband arrived he said it would take another 20 minutes. After 30 minutes he asked when the order would be ready. They said “we haven’t even started yet, it will take another 30 minutes”. You call ahead and ask if the time is right and then you get a cheeky answer. Guests are made to wait for an hour without notice! If you don't have your service under control or are overloaded, you shouldn't accept an order. Valentine's Day was ruined!

Had to wait 1.5 hours for our food. Had a sushi platter for 2 for €65 that didn't really have anything special on it... It was okay but I wouldn't do it again

Yesterday my friend and I visited the Mikoto restaurant in Ludwigsburg. The service was excellent - the staff were friendly and attentive. The cocktails were interesting and quite tasty. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the roles. They were simply tasteless. As you can see from the photos, the Philadelphia rolls were carelessly prepared - there was very little fish on top and some rolls even fell apart. That evening, exactly these roles were simply disappointing. We probably won't come again.

Was there last weekend and I have to say, the food is always good. In my opinion, the service also leaves nothing to be desired. However, what bothered me or what caught my attention during my visit was the owner of the restaurant. I don't want to say he was arrogant or aloof, but something made me uneasy. I often saw him walking around, which seemed aimless to me and made me nervous. I watched him from time to time and a little before I left, after a very good meal, I noticed a table that didn't have any cards on it. The owner walked past it and looked at the table, but didn't bring any cards over. I assume that no one has ordered yet as there were no drinks at the table. When I left, I saw that there were enough cards at the front to bring some to the table. As I said, the food was very good, the service was very good, the atmosphere was wonderful, but the owner made me feel a little uneasy.

Everything was very delicious. My family really enjoyed everything.

The sushi variations are a particular highlight, as they literally melt in your mouth. The atmosphere is modern and cozy, ideal for a special evening. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, so we felt completely at home. An absolute must for lovers of Japanese cuisine – we will definitely be back!

I went there to eat with my mother, we both got food poisoning afterwards and were very, very sick for days. When I informed the restaurant about our experiences and hoped that they would check what was causing it (bad food, non-compliance with hygiene guidelines, etc.), the employees weren't interested at all. Nobody contacted me afterwards about which dish we had, etc. Mistakes can happen, but the fact that you have no interest in avoiding the same mistakes in the future is not wrong. It's an incredible shame because I really enjoyed going there, but after that, I'll never visit this restaurant again!!

The restaurant looks rather inconspicuous from the outside, but we were thrilled as soon as we entered: the restaurant is a real gem! A small suggestion for improvement would be the tables: Since they have feet on all four corners, it is difficult to get very close to the table. A central table base would be more pleasant here. The service was excellent – ​​attentive, friendly and accommodating. There is absolutely nothing to complain about here! The food was good and deserves a solid 4 out of 5 stars. I had number 15: chicken in a tempura coating with sweet potato puree, vegetables and rice. The chicken was great, the vegetables were also good, but I felt it lacked a little spice and sophistication. The sweet potato puree could have been a little firmer. Nevertheless, everything was tasty and I would definitely come back. If you're looking for good food in a pleasant atmosphere, you've come to the right place!

A really great atmosphere with good service. The interior is well chosen and you sit comfortably. Great job. The service is quick and there is a friendly demeanor. The food is well presented, good food design. The quality of the fish (both suhsi and tartare) was unfortunately poor. Good fish is of course expensive, but the price/performance ratio doesn't match here. The tuna in the tartare was no longer fresh. Otherwise a good middle class, with a lot of potential that should be exploited. We hope the quality of the food improves, we will try it again.

Dishes are missing when ordering for pickup. I complained by phone, sent an additional email and now called again after more than two weeks. No one feels responsible to respond let alone issue a refund. No comparison with the Stuttgart Mikoto

So nice loading. But it doesn't do me any good if the service isn't good. I came in and the shop wasn't full. We even had to wait 30 minutes for someone to come to our table to serve us!!!! Far too expensive and no quality. I've eaten much better sushi!! And as soon as I got home I had to throw up. The food was probably expired or rotten. I will never go to this store again and I certainly won't recommend it!!!

Unfortunately, you get a different impression inside the restaurant, for example because the menus are stuck together with scotch tape and the tables are too small for you to sit comfortably. The sushi was okay but the ramen was unfortunately not edible. Unfortunately, for over €20.00, the broth had no taste, the chicken was cooked through and wasn't the least bit juicy. There was also very little to taste of the “teriyaki”.

A few days ago we were near the Mikoto in Ludwigsburg and were lured in by the extraordinary decoration. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant. Everything is very dark and simple, only the lighting and the pictures on the walls bring some color into play. People like to sit here. The waitresses are very friendly and there was also a children's high chair on site, which was offered to us directly without asking. We had something from the lunch menu. Once the Geisha menu and once the Donburi. All dishes and components of the dishes were super fresh. The portions are generous and at the same time very filling. You will definitely be full, if not too full, so that you have to fight your way through the last few bites. The taste of the donburi was a bit too salty, but otherwise it was quite good. The salt problem is particularly noticeable when you get to the end of the bowl, where the sauce had probably settled. The sushi, however, was good. In terms of price, we got a little cheaper with the lunch specials than you would otherwise get at Mikoto. Nevertheless, we paid over 40 euros for drinks. That's steep. Basically, Mikoto is a good and authentic restaurant. I can give a general recommendation, yes, but it wasn't enough for 5 stars.

Because you don't go there every day. The three of us spent around €136. But we also chose different starters, 1 main course for everyone, and 4 specials (all of which came in 0.33 l bottles with glass) and 4 non-alcoholic cocktails and 1 tea. The service was very friendly and helpful, they also have great Japanese shirts.
