To be honest, around this location, this sushi place is the best. And they are so kind.

The food is good for the Price. The service is great. We Eat here fairly often as it is pretty kid friendly

The service was excellent; everyone was friendly and competent. The food arrived a bit mixed up, see attached. Still, I would recommend it.

The sushi was very mediocre. It was more about quantity than quality, which is more or less what you'd expect from an all-you-can-eat restaurant. The service was quite unfriendly at times. At the beginning, they left us sitting for 15 minutes without taking our order, and then at the end, they simply didn't bring a complete round of sushi that we had ordered. For two people, including drinks, we still ended up paying €80. I can get really good sushi elsewhere for that price. I won't be going back.

We tried this restaurant because we liked the idea of ​​ordering at the table and having everything brought to us. No usual buffet crowds, and still at a good price. Unfortunately, there were two large groups sitting right around us, which made it quite noisy. Instead of a tablet, we could order with our phones. That worked well enough, but I would have liked to have been asked (like we later overheard at the next table). Overall, though, we enjoyed it and the food was delicious.

Cool experience! Order with a tablet and get all-you-can-eat: sushi, fried food, grilled food, rice, noodles, soups—everything your heart desires. €32.90 for the meal; drinks cost extra, but the prices are reasonable. We parked in the Schwabengalerie and paid almost nothing thanks to a Kaufland coupon. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Everything was great, and the price was way too low for the delicious food. Unfortunately, the restrooms are in need of renovation.

Good food, large selection, the sushi is also good. You order from a tray, have 10 rounds, and can order 10 items each (which lasts forever). You don't have to order dessert from a tray, but the dessert selection is rather limited and not very good. The melon was bad.

The food tasted excellent and was served fresh and attractively. I particularly like the wide selection of dishes, which caters to every taste. The value for money is also absolutely convincing – everything is just right here. We ate here for the first time today and tried the buffet (ordering via tablet). To start with the positive, the service is really good; they put a lot of effort into it, the food comes quickly, and the staff are very friendly. Let's move on to the less positive: the sushi is really not recommended; it reminds me of sushi from a discount store. The gyozas, shrimp skewers, and the pho soup were OK, and the meat wasn't particularly good either. You can get dessert yourself, but that was unfortunately also subpar. We don't have the highest expectations for an all-you-can-eat restaurant, but almost €33 per person is not justified for what you get. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

Great all-you-can-eat system with tablets. You can order five dishes per person every 15 minutes. The food arrives quickly and freshly prepared at your table. It's absolutely delicious, and there's a huge selection, including drinks (not included). The main focus is on the dishes that can be ordered via the tablet. Dessert is available at a small buffet (fresh fruit, small sweets, ice cream). Absolutely good value at €32.80 for an all-you-can-eat meal in the evening!

The restaurant is located in the heart of the city. We got a table right away without a reservation, and the food was delicious. The price was also completely reasonable.

Very small selection compared to other sushi restaurants. The rice was dry and the udon noodles were very greasy. I could not finish the udon, which is surprising as I can usually eat anything. My girlfriend had stomach issues after eating here so I would recommend avoiding eating here. The cakes and fruit were good, and some ice cream flavors were okay.

Absolutely not value for money. Nothing freshly cooked, sushi really bad (better at the supermarket). I actually cook better Asian food at home; noodles tasted ONLY of butter, rice was stale and inedible (a really weird diaper taste). For €80 for two, you can get better food anywhere else!

Beware of a change of ownership! Generally, I just want to say that the ambiance is truly beautiful. We are sushi lovers and wanted to spend the evening there because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, some of the food wasn't as good as we expected. Food: Unfortunately, it wasn't fresh and quite tasteless. We could tell that something that had already been fried was served to us quickly fried again. Unfortunately, nothing tasted good. The sushi wasn't tasty at all, and the rice was very dry. We didn't feel like continuing our order there and cut our evening short. Even the soup wasn't tasty. Unfortunately, EVERYTHING was bad. Service: I don't want to lump everyone together, because the waiters were nice, too. However, we found our waiter rude. I didn't think we were treated well. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back here.

One of the worst concepts is that you're limited to 10 items for 2 people every 15 minutes for a total of 1 hour. The portions are too small, and at the end of the meal, you're still hungry because you only eat small portions every 20 minutes because you have to wait for them to come. But the food is very good, you can't take it back, and the staff (young staff) are really kind and helpful. In short, if you've already eaten, this is a good place; otherwise, you'll have to eat before coming.

If you're looking for excellent, freshly prepared Japanese food, this is the place for you. The "all you can eat" option, where you place your orders on a tablet and are served new delicacies every few minutes, isn't just something different, but a real experience and makes for some fun moments at the dinner table. While you would normally order a dish, here you have the opportunity to try the entire menu with small portions. Another highlight is the very friendly manager and her staff. Highly recommended. A super nice restaurant in Vaihingen, with friendly and fast service. The concept is something different: an all-you-can-eat buffet, but not a buffet in the traditional sense. Instead, you can order five dishes in small portions every 15 minutes. Three people use one tray, and there are also dishes that cost extra. Unfortunately, the desserts (which are actually self-service buffets) are not clearly labeled, and there's little choice. Otherwise, everything arrives very fresh and quickly. I would gladly come again!

Mikomi was once upon a time – We first visited the restaurant 4 years ago and have been back every now and then since then. For the past 2 years, we had the impression that the food was getting worse and the restaurant's quality was declining. Now we have confirmation: Our most recent visit after about 8 months was disastrous! From the sushi, which tasted absolutely terrible, to the dessert, which looked like it had been sitting at the buffet all weekend. A full bottle of Teinacher was placed on our table without being poured. When we tried to open it, we realized the lid wasn't quite on. The water tasted bland and had hardly any fizz. The restrooms, both men's and women's, were subterranean and unusable, which didn't exactly help with the nausea I felt after eating. That was definitely our last visit to Mikomi.

The lunch menu in particular offers good value for money and is absolutely reasonable for the price. The staff was mostly very friendly, unobtrusive, and attentive – I particularly liked the fact that you're left alone while eating. No constant questions about how things tasted, no hectic clearing – it creates a relaxed atmosphere. I would also like to highlight the homemade lemonades – they are truly delicious, refreshing, and a taste highlight. Negative: Unfortunately, the food overall didn't impress me. It's okay, but nothing more – neither particularly fresh nor outstanding in quality. The sushi was disappointing for my taste: neither particularly high-quality nor attractively prepared. Rather below average. The selection overall is limited – much of it is repetitive or seems rather carelessly put together. Anyone expecting a great variety will probably be disappointed here. I would rate the food 4 out of 10 in terms of taste. Dessert was unfortunately the low point: flavorless watermelon and mini cakes that I had to leave after one bite – definitely not my cup of tea.

The service is very friendly and accommodating! They forgot to bring a dish once, but it wasn't a big deal. We only managed about four rounds anyway 😂 For dessert, you had the choice between ice cream and various sweets, which were very good! I'd be happy to go back, but only for lunch in the future, as the price is significantly higher in the evening, and we could never eat that much in our lives :)

We ate our way through the menu and rolled home full and satisfied. Everything was freshly prepared, tasted delicious, and was served quickly and attractively. Even our children found something to eat and ate with great appetite. They were given children's chopsticks, which they were very happy about. The food and ambience are amazing. They offer you upto 10 dishes of your choice every 15 minutes in their buffet. After paying the bill, you get free desserts of your choice to take with no limits. The only thing I can suggest them is to have more options for vegetarian and vegan people in their menu but there are already few great options for them. Like the time spend there with delicious and authentic delicacies.

The waiters and especially the manager were incredibly warm, attentive, and personable. You immediately felt welcome. They constantly asked if everything was okay – genuine hospitality is paramount here. For all sushi lovers (and those who want to become one): Mikomi is definitely worth a visit. If I could, I wouldn't have given it a star. The food quality was very poor. Sushi was gummy. The rounds arrived very late and not all at once. Many things were missing. Even the edamame was bad. I've never experienced edamame that didn't taste good. SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE. We were often forgotten. They brought a water bottle without glasses, but my friend told me she could drink it from a large bottle!!!😂 For that money, I would go out for decent sushi, and everything would be delicious and freshly prepared. DON'T COME!!!

We had lunch, the price was very affordable, most of the meals were delicious, the two of us ordered four rounds (each round can be ordered 10 portions) for only 17.9 euros per person, but the waiter kept serving the wrong dishes which made us a little stunned, but overall it was still worth eating

It's inexplicable how this restaurant received 4.4 stars. The food tastes below average. The fact that half of us had stomach aches and diarrhea after our visit completely brought the whole experience down. Unfortunately, the staff was extremely unmotivated and far from friendly. The atmosphere was fine.

You should definitely make a reservation in advance, as it's especially busy on Saturdays. You can then use a tablet to order all sorts of treats one by one. It tastes delicious and is a lot of fun! 😍 However, especially on Sundays, there could be a bit more variety for the price (e.g., fried sushi, fried pudding, etc.).

Very tasty, fresh sushi, and the food (except for some items on the dessert buffet) was delicious. The dips for the individual dishes could have been a bit more intense, but they were good. Ordering with the tablet could be more intuitive; we've experienced better things in other tablet restaurants (e.g., you first have to add the dish to your order to see the German name, and then delete it from the order list afterwards if you don't want to). The servers were all very friendly, and the restrooms were pleasantly clean. The only downside was that the donuts for dessert were completely dried out and hard, the cake slices were also quite dry, and the ice cream flavors were unfortunately not labeled, but there was a good selection. The coconut cream with mango was excellent, however.

I'm torn. I was there two years ago, and I liked it back then. But this time, the whole visit was a bit confusing – the service was nice, but disorganized and at times very difficult to understand (we ended up misunderstanding the amount for the meal by €5, paid more than we thought, and only realized it afterward because there was no receipt. So, you have to be careful there). Also, unfortunately, card payments aren't accepted. The sushi itself was okay, but a bit dry. Maybe it will be different on my next visit – but it's not one of my favorite sushi places in Stuttgart.

We visited Mikomi Sushi & Grill hoping for a relaxing sushi experience, but unfortunately left disappointed. The service was friendly and the place itself is nicely decorated, but the food was a major letdown. Every piece of sushi, despite looking different, tasted exactly the same — bland and clearly low quality. The 15-minute ordering system creates unnecessary waiting time, and there are no set combinations or balanced options. The fried items tasted like they were cooked in old oil, and the soy sauce was overwhelmingly salty. Sadly, we do not recommend this place and won’t be returning.

Unfortunately I can't understand the good reviews. We were there twice two years ago and it was really good. Two years later, how reversed. The food was bland and sometimes tasted subpar. Service made an effort, but it didn't help much. The men's toilet was broken and felt left to its own devices. Smell like a train station toilet. If we had imagined the birthday dinner to be nicer, we won't forget it so quickly! There definitely won't be a repeat.

Love it. The food is great, regardless of whether you order regular or all you can eat, and their ice cream is in a class of its own - my recommendation is papaya and matcha ;)

The all you can eat sushi is not the best quality. Its also mostly rice and very little fish. I have been here a handfull of times, but on our most recent visit, our server was cancelling items we ordered without telling us. We noticed, and we were quite annoyed. This seems quite shady, and felt a bit like we were being ripped off.

Being completely honest, the food is not amazing. The experience is nice, being able to order everything that you want for 30 euros is very fun. I would recommend this restaurant for a family gathering or going out with friends or if you want to eat a lot. The ambient is nice and well decorated and service is very good. Unfortunately it didn't convince me. It looks very nice from the outside, but it's so loud inside that it's hard to hear what you're talking to. Service is quite nice. The selection seems very large if you are not vegetarian. The sushi tastes okay. Some rolls were tasty, but when you ordered them again in the next round they tasted very bad, dry and you had to chew on the seaweed for what felt like hours. Unfortunately the chicken doesn't taste good at all. Dessert counter is very cute and cool ice cream varieties. Overall it was ok for the first time, but I wouldn't go there a second time

Overall, a great restaurant that you should definitely visit.

Were here for the first time. Used lunch buffet. Plus one of the delicious iced teas, which are homemade and simply something to look at. The buffet selection was very good for the price. You order 5 pieces per person per round using your tablet, which is really good, how did we not make it through 10 rounds :-), we were so full. The sushi is very good, as is the fried meat/fish. The portions are also very good. For dessert we got fruit and ice cream from the buffet. We'll definitely be back!

Our visit today to Mikomi Sushi & Grill in Stuttgart-Vaihingen was a completely successful experience. The food was excellent – ​​we were impressed by the variety and quality of the dishes on offer. The all-you-can-eat concept makes it possible to try numerous sushi variations, grilled dishes, salads, soups and fried snacks, all at a fair, and in our opinion even cheap, price.   The ambience of the restaurant is modern and inviting, which contributes to a pleasant atmosphere. I spontaneously ordered sushi to take away from the restaurant there today. The service was super nice and attentive, the order was taken and I was served a free coffee while I was waiting. After a few minutes the order was ready and freshly prepared. The sushi was really delicious and an absolute recommendation! Thanks again for this service.

We were there as a group of 10. Because of the bad reviews we were a bit worried, but we were wrong. We parked in the parking garage and then walked to Mikomi. Were welcomed very friendly and brought to our table. We then received an introduction explaining how to order. 5 dishes per 15 minutes. Drinks cost extra but are reasonably priced. There is a lot of variety in the food (soups, grilled dishes, seafood, fried sushi, etc). Sashimi and "expensive dishes" have an additional charge but none of us had the urge to get anything extra. The choice was enough. During the 15 minutes waiting time you can choose your next round so that everything flows smoothly and doesn't stall. The waiting times are minimal. Everything tasted great too (for everyone!). In the end we were able to help ourselves to the dessert buffet and pay separately without any problems. You don't have to worry about accidentally ordering something that costs extra, it's all signposted on the tray. What's not included is the price in the picture of the dish, but as I said, we didn't have to order any of it in order to roll out happy and full. We'll go again on our next visit. Simply 10/10, no suggestions for improvement! You get vouchers for the parking garage, so we didn't have to pay €6 but only €3. Everyone was super nice and accommodating.
