Ausgezeichnetes Restaurant in der Nähe des Augsburger Zentrums. Der Service war hervorragend – zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Bravo, Nina! Endlich konnten wir wieder richtig gutes, einfaches und leckeres italienisches Essen genießen. Hier in Deutschland ist das gar nicht so einfach zu finden. Der Außenbereich ist wunderschön, und die Auswahl an Gerichten ist insgesamt exzellent. Der kleine Parkplatz hinter dem Restaurant ist praktisch. Bravo!

Am Freitag, dem 17. Juli 2026, reservierten wir aufgrund der positiven Google-Bewertungen. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sofort herzlich begrüßt und bekamen einen geräumigen Tisch zugewiesen. Die Einrichtung entsprach nicht ganz unserem Geschmack, aber das ist natürlich Geschmackssache; gemütlich war es jedenfalls! Die Speisekarte war ausgezeichnet, dazu gab es Empfehlungen des Tages. Die Weinkarte bot eine gute Auswahl an Rot-, Weiß- und Roséweinen. Wir aßen und tranken hervorragend zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Am Ende des Abends unterhielten wir uns noch eine Weile mit Einheimischen, die uns ein paar nette Tipps für Unternehmungen in Augsburg gaben. Wenn Sie also einmal in Augsburg italienisch essen möchten und in der Nähe der Wernachbrücke wohnen, ist dieses Restaurant eine hervorragende Wahl.

Wahrscheinlich die Nr. 1 Adresse in Augsburg für glutenfreie Gerichte, insbesondere Pizzen. Ich selbst brauche sie zwar nicht, aber meine Tochter. Der hat es geschmeckt und es ist ein selbstgefertigter Teig, nicht ein Fertiger vom Marktführer. Service war sehr freundlich. Schöner Biergarten, auch wenn natürlich die nahe Hauptstraße mit Lärm etwas stört. Aber ist halt Großstadt.

Bis auf die etwas trockene Pizza war alles fein.

Wir sind spontan zum späten Mittagessen gekommen. Der Service war super schnell und nett. Wir brauchen glutenfreie Kost und haben viele gute Optionen gefunden. Das Restaurant sieht innen sehr nett aus. Draußen ist es etwas lauf von der Straße. Gern kommen wir mal wieder.

Das Essen (Salat und Pizzabrot) war gut. Es gibt alkfreien Spritz. Eine Bezahlung mit Kreiditkarte ist erst ab 100 Euro möglich, daher die Abwertung. Biergarten liegt an der Hauptverkehrsstraße.

Aufgrund meines Zöliakie bin ich auf glutenfreies Essen angewiesen. Besitzer kannten sich gut aus , auch mit Kontamination. Ich hatte eine Pizza. War sehr lecker! Anschließend auch keine Probleme. Dankeschön, war toll mal wieder beruhigt auswärts zu Essen.

Der Service ist hervorragend und schnell, und selbst bei großem Andrang wird das Essen zügig serviert. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam, und das glutenfreie Essen ist fantastisch! Ich kann das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen, da ich selbst glutenempfindlich bin und noch nie so lecker gegessen habe. Mein Mann ist ebenfalls sehr empfindlich, was Lebensmittel angeht, und ihm schmeckt alles, egal ob glutenfrei oder nicht.

Wir waren an einem Samstagabend als Fussballmannschaft bei Michelangelo zum Nachtessen. Wir waren rund 40 Personen und durften à la carte bestellen... das hat sensationell funktioniert! Das Essen, auch mit Spezialwünschen, kam pünktlich auf den Tisch, sodass niemand warten musste. Ein grosses Kompliment an den Besitzer, das Servicepersonal und die Küche. Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder zu euch. Grazie mille, siete simpaticissimi 🇮🇹✨

Von aussen nicht sehr einladend, aber innen nett und ansprechend. Der Service war gut, unser Essen sehr gut. Wir kommen wieder.

Nachtrag: Leider muss ich meine Bewertung ins negative anpassen. Das Personal ist weiterhin freundlich und zuvorkommend, jedoch ist es leider so das die Qualität des Essens schwankend ist. Es gibt Tage, da ist das Essen wirklich super, wirklich lecker. Leider überwiegen aber die Tage an denen das Essen eben total geschmacklos ist, was wir ziemlich schade finden, weil wir nie wissen was wir bekommen. Das gleiche Erlebnis haben auch unsere Freunde. Wir können uns nur nicht erklären woran das liegt (verschiedene Köche). Irgendwer vor Ort kann kochen, macht es nur zu wenig, oder hat einfach nicht immer Lust. Es wäre schön wenn die Qualität gleichbleibend wäre. Wir kommen sicherlich mal wieder und hoffen dann darauf, dass das Essen gleichbleibend gut ist, weil ihr es könnt.

Ich liebe diese Pizzeria, für mich die beste in ganz Augsburg! 😍 Super authentisch, man fühlt sich direkt wie in Italien. Der Service ist immer freundlich und trotzdem total professionell. Und das Essen? Einfach nur top, da gibt’s nichts zu meckern! 🍕 Selbst wenn man mal keinen Tisch reserviert hat, finden die irgendwie immer noch einen Platz. Absolute Empfehlung!

Super tolles italienisches Restaurant. Die Pizza kommt aus dem Holzofen. Besonders zu erwähnen ist, dass es jede Pizza und auch die Nudelgerichte glutenfrei gibt. Der Service ist super angenehm. Ganz tolles Restaurant.

Absolut TOP! Gehen hier gerne mit Kollegen oder Kunden essen und das Personal ist auch immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Karte hat eine gute Auswahl und sowol Fleisch (Steaks/ Tomerhawk), Pasta und Pizza sind sehr zu empfehlen. Zudem wird hier auch auf die Kundenwünsche eingegangen und die Beratung/ Auswahl zu bspw. glutenfreien Speisen ist auch vorbildlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die leckerste pizza in Augsburg

Leider sehr enttäuschend.... Nicht vom Essen, das war alles hervorragend, aber traurig ist halt, dass man neue Gäste spüren lässt, dass sie nicht zu dem Stammkunden zählen. Andere Gäste, die nach und erschienen sind, wurden vorrangig behandelt und selten war eine Bedienung nur mal auf unseren Tisch konzentriert. Um 18.30 Uhr den Tisch reserviert, wo noch nicht viel los war und um 19.45 Uhr mal gefragt, wann die Hauptspeise kommt.... Da wir teilweise bar und teilweise evtl mit Karte bezahlen wollten, wurde vor uns mit den Augen gerollt. Geht gar nicht. Gut, dass die beiden Sachen, die boniert waren, aber nicht serviert wurden, von der Bedienung übersehen wurden. Klar, wenn man sich während dem kassieren mit anderen Kunden beschäftigt. Stammgäste, die besser bedient werden, werden wir wohl nicht!!!!

Sehr aufmerksamer Service, gute Beratung. Sonderwünsche waren kein Problem. Essensqualität sehr gut. Mitnahme des Hundes war kein Problem. Schade das ich dieses Lokal nicht schon früher entdeckt habe.

Sehr schönes und absolut authentisches Restaurant. Ich war bis jetzt zwei mal hier. Die Pizza war super und das Rind in Pfeffersoße war ebenfalls prima. Zum Nachtisch ein Mix auf einer Platte ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wenn ich wiedermal in Augsburg strande, freue ich mich schon auf das leckeres Essen hier.

Tolles Restaurant, köstliches Essen.

Wir waren zum Abendessen dort. Wir waren der Essensempfehlung gefolgt. Wolfsbarsch in Salzkruste. Gut gekocht, toll zubereitet perfekt serviert. Geschmacklich sehr gut. Auch die Suppen als Vorspeise waren lecker. Für einen Nachtisch hatten wir aufgrund eines Folgetermins leider keine Zeit mehr. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Ich komme immer wieder gerne mal hierher, wenn ich Lust auf italienische Küche habe, denn es schmeckt einfach alles, ob Pizza, Pasta, Antipasti oder Nachspeisen. Dafür fahren wir auch gerne eine halbe Stunde her, einen Parkplatz bekommt man meistens schnell in der Nähe. Der Service ist immer sehr freundlich, auch wenn es mal etwas stressiger ist. Meine persönlichen Favoriten sind hier die Pizza und das erstklassige Olivenöl...ein Traum 🥰

Geheimtipp, zufällig darauf gestoßen und die beste Pizza Tonno, die ich bisher gegessen habe, dort serviert bekommen. Die Lasagne schmeckt auch super, preislich definitiv mehr als fair.

Ich finde, es ist eines der besten italienischen Restaurants in Augsburg. Das Essen war köstlich und der Service hervorragend. Auch für Kinder ist es geeignet. Parkplätze befinden sich direkt neben dem Restaurant. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Danke! 🙂

Don't let the exterior fool you: Inside, the restaurant is tastefully decorated and immediately invites you to linger. The menu is very extensive, and everything we ate as a group of six was truly exceptional. The delicious pizza dough was a particular hit with everyone. Highly recommended! 👍🏼

Last night, four of us went to Michelangelo. It's a small, beautifully decorated restaurant. The service (a family team, perhaps?) was perfect – attentive but not intrusive. They have an extensive menu and excellent value for money. The large Pizza Rustica was outstanding for €8.90! Of course, taste is subjective, but I think it was cooked thoroughly and generously topped. The draft pilsner was fantastic. We were able to sample the house wine beforehand, and we finished with a very good, aromatic espresso. What more could you ask for? Thanks for a lovely evening!

I've been coming here for years and everything was always very good. This time, however, both the soup and the mussels were completely unacceptable. The friendly owner and the super nice service unfortunately couldn't make up for the disappointing food. If you restore the quality you had before, I'll gladly come back, but as it is, it's just not right.

The best Italian restaurant in all of Augsburg. Five-star restaurant quality at a local Italian price! I was there with 11 people for a birthday dinner, and they even decorated a table especially for the occasion. The service was world-class, with antipasti platters tailored specifically for us, group portions, and they always asked if we needed anything or if we needed anything else. The advice on the menu was also excellent. The aperitifs were deliciously varied, and the recommended digestif shots were very refreshing. The best Italian restaurant experience I've ever had, a definite recommendation. I knew the food was always good, as I've ordered from here many times before, but being there in person was a truly special experience. There aren't enough stars I can give. To top it all off, they gave me a very tasty bottle of wine as a gift, and to be honest, the price for the tasting was practically a steal. Appetizer, main course, dessert—everything was divine. My warmest recommendation for everyone, even those on a budget.

A top-notch restaurant, on par with a Michelin-starred establishment. We've been there twice now, and everything has been outstanding. The service is first-class, and the food is absolutely incredible. We've tried everything on the menu. There's absolutely nothing to criticize, and all the staff are very friendly. The prices are perfectly justified for this class and quality, and even rather reasonable. We highly recommend it. The owner, Francesco, is fantastic and has everything under control.

The four of us spent a cozy evening enjoying delicious food. We ordered two lasagnas and two grilled fish mistos with mixed side salad instead of vegetables and potatoes. Changing our order was easy thanks to the lovely waitress Lisa, and her service was attentive yet unobtrusive. The recommended tiramisu was very tasty. We spontaneously stopped by for lunch before leaving Switzerland. The restaurant was full on a Sunday lunchtime, and it's recommended to reserve a table in advance. We received a very friendly welcome and started with a delicious glass of Prosecco. Then we had a starter to share. It was no problem getting two small plates and then two meat dishes. The portions were good and, more importantly, they tasted great. On the recommendation of the chef—I think it was the chef—we ordered a mixed dessert platter. It was simply fantastic. All in all, the Michelangelo is worth a visit.

Following the recommendations of the very friendly waitress, we enjoyed a wonderful sea bream with delicious grilled vegetables and a sensationally delicious seasonal pizza with pumpkin, porcini mushrooms, walnuts, and burrata. The house wine was delicious, and the homemade almond parfait was divine! Perfect ambiance and service! Great evening!

The six of us had a fantastic evening! Top-notch service, superb food, and fantastic wines. We had mixed appetizer platters, salt-crusted fish, and tomahawk steaks, accompanied by Amarone red wine and Lugana white wine. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert...

The Michelangelo restaurant is simply fantastic! Even the appetizers – the fresh salad, the delicious soup, and especially the mussels – were a real treat. The seasonal menu is particularly beautiful, providing a constant variety and demonstrating how creative and fresh the cooking here is. The pizza is an absolute highlight – one of the best in the entire area! Crispy crust, aromatic tomato sauce, fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked – it couldn't be better. You can tell that the food is cooked with heart and passion. The service is warm and attentive, the ambiance cozy and authentic – you immediately feel welcome. A clear recommendation for me: If you love Italian food, you'll definitely be happy here! Unfortunately, we didn't take any photos of the food – we'll do that on our next visit :)

The best gluten-free pizza I've ever eaten! Indistinguishable from a regular pizza, and the combination of the sauce and the fresh ingredients is a dream for the palate.

Recommended by the Hotel Alpenhof. From the outside, I thought...'really?' Arriving inside...the place was full, the staff bustling about, and after an announced 30-minute wait, which was over in 6 minutes (there were two of us with a dog, without a reservation), we were seated. Very tastefully decorated and very stylish. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and the food tasted truly Italian. For two people, including non-alcoholic drinks and two truly delicious pizzas, carpaccio to start with and panna cotta to follow, we paid around €55. I wouldn't say it's wheelchair accessible, but since I don't know, please ask yourself. I'd be happy to come back and Grazie Mille... P.S.: Regarding the question of why it's not 5 stars... On the one hand, it was missing that certain something. On the other hand, it's easier to improve than to maintain a standard...and maintain...and maintain...

Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn't look very inviting from the outside, but luckily we went in. The pizza and pasta were delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend it.

I was thrilled with the food; it was great value for money! Service left a lot to be desired; it felt like a mass-processing operation. Whether it was the manager, I don't know, was he very, very loud? I was sitting in a very awkward position, and his loud voice was constantly in my ears. It was also very loud overall. It was difficult to have a proper conversation.

I always stop by when I'm in Augsburg. From the outside, the restaurant is hardly noticeable, but inside there is a very nice, cozy atmosphere. So far, there has always been a daily special, which is presented at the table. A reservation is definitely necessary.
