An incredibly great selection of gluten-free dishes! Excellent service, fantastic taste of the food – both gluten-free and "regular". Why isn't this available in every city?

A place that surprises you with its perfect atmosphere when you step inside, even though you might wonder if you can even enter from the outside. They have delicious pizzas and wines. Don't let the exterior fool you: Inside, the restaurant is tastefully decorated and immediately invites you to linger. The menu is very extensive, and everything we ate as a group of six was truly exceptional. The delicious pizza dough was a particular hit with everyone. Highly recommended! 👍🏼

Last night, four of us went to Michelangelo. It's a small, beautifully decorated restaurant. The service (a family team, perhaps?) was perfect – attentive but not intrusive. They have an extensive menu and excellent value for money. The large Pizza Rustica was outstanding for €8.90! Of course, taste is subjective, but I think it was cooked thoroughly and generously topped. The draft pilsner was fantastic. We were able to sample the house wine beforehand, and we finished with a very good, aromatic espresso. What more could you ask for? Thanks for a lovely evening!

I've been coming here for years and everything was always very good. This time, however, both the soup and the mussels were completely unacceptable. The friendly owner and the super nice service unfortunately couldn't make up for the disappointing food. If you restore the quality you had before, I'll gladly come back, but as it is, it's just not right.

The best Italian restaurant in all of Augsburg. Five-star restaurant quality at a local Italian price! I was there with 11 people for a birthday dinner, and they even decorated a table especially for the occasion. The service was world-class, with antipasti platters tailored specifically for us, group portions, and they always asked if we needed anything or if we needed anything else. The advice on the menu was also excellent. The aperitifs were deliciously varied, and the recommended digestif shots were very refreshing. The best Italian restaurant experience I've ever had, a definite recommendation. I knew the food was always good, as I've ordered from here many times before, but being there in person was a truly special experience. There aren't enough stars I can give. To top it all off, they gave me a very tasty bottle of wine as a gift, and to be honest, the price for the tasting was practically a steal. Appetizer, main course, dessert—everything was divine. My warmest recommendation for everyone, even those on a budget.

A top-notch restaurant, on par with a Michelin-starred establishment. We've been there twice now, and everything has been outstanding. The service is first-class, and the food is absolutely incredible. We've tried everything on the menu. There's absolutely nothing to criticize, and all the staff are very friendly. The prices are perfectly justified for this class and quality, and even rather reasonable. We highly recommend it. The owner, Francesco, is fantastic and has everything under control.

The four of us spent a cozy evening enjoying delicious food. We ordered two lasagnas and two grilled fish mistos with mixed side salad instead of vegetables and potatoes. Changing our order was easy thanks to the lovely waitress Lisa, and her service was attentive yet unobtrusive. The recommended tiramisu was very tasty. All in all, a wonderful evening that we would gladly repeat. Methuselah and his entourage thank you for the excellent service.

We spontaneously stopped by for lunch before leaving Switzerland. The restaurant was full on a Sunday lunchtime, and it's recommended to reserve a table in advance. We received a very friendly welcome and started with a delicious glass of Prosecco. Then we had a starter to share. It was no problem getting two small plates and then two meat dishes. The portions were good and, more importantly, they tasted great. On the recommendation of the chef—I think it was the chef—we ordered a mixed dessert platter. It was simply fantastic. All in all, the Michelangelo is worth a visit.

Following the recommendations of the very friendly waitress, we enjoyed a wonderful sea bream with delicious grilled vegetables and a sensationally delicious seasonal pizza with pumpkin, porcini mushrooms, walnuts, and burrata. The house wine was delicious, and the homemade almond parfait was divine! Perfect ambiance and service! Great evening!

The six of us had a fantastic evening! Top-notch service, superb food, and fantastic wines. We had mixed appetizer platters, salt-crusted fish, and tomahawk steaks, accompanied by Amarone red wine and Lugana white wine. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert...

The Michelangelo restaurant is simply fantastic! Even the appetizers – the fresh salad, the delicious soup, and especially the mussels – were a real treat. The seasonal menu is particularly beautiful, providing a constant variety and demonstrating how creative and fresh the cooking here is. The pizza is an absolute highlight – one of the best in the entire area! Crispy crust, aromatic tomato sauce, fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked – it couldn't be better. You can tell that the food is cooked with heart and passion. The service is warm and attentive, the ambiance cozy and authentic – you immediately feel welcome. A clear recommendation for me: If you love Italian food, you'll definitely be happy here! Unfortunately, we didn't take any photos of the food – we'll do that on our next visit :)

The best gluten-free pizza I've ever eaten! Indistinguishable from a regular pizza, and the combination of the sauce and the fresh ingredients is a dream for the palate.

Recommended by the Hotel Alpenhof. From the outside, I thought...'really?' Arriving inside...the place was full, the staff bustling about, and after an announced 30-minute wait, which was over in 6 minutes (there were two of us with a dog, without a reservation), we were seated. Very tastefully decorated and very stylish. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and the food tasted truly Italian. For two people, including non-alcoholic drinks and two truly delicious pizzas, carpaccio to start with and panna cotta to follow, we paid around €55. I wouldn't say it's wheelchair accessible, but since I don't know, please ask yourself. I'd be happy to come back and Grazie Mille... P.S.: Regarding the question of why it's not 5 stars... On the one hand, it was missing that certain something. On the other hand, it's easier to improve than to maintain a standard...and maintain...and maintain...

Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn't look very inviting from the outside, but luckily we went in. The pizza and pasta were delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend it.

I was thrilled with the food; it was great value for money! Service left a lot to be desired; it felt like a mass-processing operation. Whether it was the manager, I don't know, was he very, very loud? I was sitting in a very awkward position, and his loud voice was constantly in my ears. It was also very loud overall. It was difficult to have a proper conversation.

The food is delicious; my highlight is the gluten-free menu, which also allows people with celiac disease to eat here safely and with confidence. The service is also very attentive and friendly. I always stop by when I'm in Augsburg. From the outside, the restaurant is hardly noticeable, but inside there is a very nice, cozy atmosphere. So far, there has always been a daily special, which is presented at the table. A reservation is definitely necessary.

I went to eat here with my family since there is only a few places in town with gluten free options. I got a gf pizza and was very happy with it. It was huge and super yummy. I’m very sensitive to cross contamination and I didn’t get sick so I had a great experience. My family that eat gluten also loved everything they got!

Incredibly delicious gluten-free pizza (the best we've found in Germany so far). Very tasty thin crust and incredibly delicious spicy tomato sauce. Overall, a very wide selection, whether pizza, pasta, gnocchi, or dessert. The grilled vegetables were very well grilled and seasoned, and a very nice, large portion as a side dish. The rest of us were also incredibly enthusiastic about the pasta (the best we've ever eaten). The pasta seems to be homemade and really delicious. The food was beautifully presented. Incredibly friendly and reliable service. We will definitely be back. A highly recommended restaurant.

Attentive, fast, customer-focused, exactly as it should be. The food was truly delicious, with very generous portions and a very reasonable price. We'll definitely be back!
