Great food, great coctail and great service! Pleasant atmosphere. We had a good experience. I recommend this restaurant.

Were complimented out after 3 hours, 11 people, 1 person celebrated their 56th birthday! It wasn't said or announced beforehand! The waiter said after 15 minutes he had to settle the bill and we would pay and leave, the table would then be reserved for other people! Sorry, Munich so usual! The last time I was there! What a disgrace!!

Nice atmosphere. The food was okay, though very salty. We were seated upstairs and there were only two waiters. The service was the slowest I have probably experienced in my life, even in the moments there wasn’t too many customers. We had to wait for an hour to order our food and it didn’t get better after that. What a disappointment. Maybe due the lack of enough staff, the two didn’t perform their best.

Me and my friend were there for dinner yesterday. The restaurant is nice. The waitress was very nice at the beginning, but then she showed her face to her goods. When we wanted to pay my friend said that he wanted to pay in cash then she asked if we wanted to tip and we said no, then she freaked out and threw the bills at us on the table and said that she didn't have any change and that she would be there soon. She came back and we gave her the money again and she the remaining money. We understood that she worked alone in the area and that's why we were patient with the waiting time, but the action was very disrespectful. The food was nothing special and the location is perfect.

Best food, great service and nice ambience

The restaurant is nicely decorated, but I have yet to meet a waiter who asks for a tip! The bill is 57.50, I give 100€ and he asks me how much change he should give me back?!

Great location if you want to visit the German Theater directly opposite, for example, cool decor, good Pinsa, noodles also good, service friendly, but dramatically overpriced in my opinion - 24 euros for a Pinsa is pretty sick.

Incredibly expensive! A tiramisu to take away for €7.50!? And what's more, such an outrageously small mini portion! For the price of an impressive €7.50! Totally cheeky and impudent, this pricing for a Mini Mini Tiramisu! For a pile of cream, with a little vanilla flavor an incredible €7.50! I won't say anything more about it! There was hardly even any dough, made from biscuit biscuits in the so-called “Tiramisu” included! Almost nothing inside! Just cream with a few berries... Incredible and really disappointing! See photos! Just cream, just a small pile, with a little cocoa sprinkled on top to make it look like more? But nothing behind it.

Went there for lunch and had the ragu pasta – it was good. The restaurant is really nicely designed inside and has a pleasant atmosphere. The service was very friendly and made the visit even better. Fair prices

Visiting more then 5 times and every single time was lower impression than previous.. service just ok for Germany.. but.. and i think they have changed chef and pizza was not same good as before. Still one of the best places in the corner..

Great restaurant here, we would love to come back! Spaghetti, Pinsa, Caesar salad etc. There's nothing but praise! Great Mia team, keep it up Every Friday and Saturday evening there will be a DJ on the 1st floor, a delicious meal beforehand and then on the 1st floor listening to local music, sipping cocktails, chatting and dancing a bit, I feel like it! A little tip, the Deutsches Theater is opposite and it can get full quickly if a performance is out, so make a reservation in advance or avoid these peak times!

Very tasty, very nice, highly recommended

Well furnished bar with a good selection of Italian dishes. A pinsa in particular is worth it here, as you get a very large portion here. The starters are also very tasty, like the burrata with fresh, warm bread. What spoils the ambience a bit is the loud techno music, making it difficult to have a conversation.

Elegant environment and refined design. Varied and rich menu. Excellent cuisine. Attentive and professional staff. Very interesting quality/price ratio. The only flaw: techno music that is completely wrong for the place (it's not a nightclub) and the volume level is intolerable for those who want to relax, chat and dine with gusto. It would be much better to opt for soft jazz or a live jazz band and achieve perfection ;)

Was there three times. Three very bad-tempered waiters in a bad mood. Friendliness is completely missing. Food is still good. On the last visit: The place was almost completely empty, but it was still not possible to choose a free seat, even if we asked again. The overall atmosphere was very unpleasant.

Very pleasant restaurant directly opposite the German Theater in Munich. We like to eat there before or after going to the theater. The appetizer plate in particular is a very good start to the evening.

I visited Mia Trattoria with friends on Valentine's Day and unfortunately our experience was disappointing. The menu adapted for Valentine's Day offered a very limited selection of what is otherwise on the menu, the menu had many dishes with mushrooms and fish, which was difficult for people who don't like that. The price-performance ratio was not right because the quality of the food was not convincing. The waiter seemed a bit unfriendly at first, but became nicer as the evening progressed. Particularly disappointing was the dessert, which according to the menu was supposed to be a panna cotta, but tasted more like a quark mixture and we had to return it - after all, the restaurant canceled it. All in all, the experience was not satisfactory and I would not recommend the restaurant.

Normally I would not write a bad review but as was mentioned previously the place is overpriced even though that was not the main issue, but rather that the waiter was kinda rude from the very start. I do think that at least the first interaction with whoever it is should begin with “You” to be polite and respectful! The waiter treated as if i was his old fellow who visited him on his working place to eat for free and the passive aggressive attitude towards me was unacceptable.

Very tasty food, there were also a few vegan options. The Pina Vegan was super tasty 😍

Very nice and elegant restaurant in a very busy caotic area. Perfect location for those who are using the train station or staying overnight nearby. Very good Italian food, and a not bad selection of wine and drinks. Service is great as well.

More appearance than reality. If you want a good Pinsa, you're in a good place here, the friendly service staff was very accommodating. They drinks were also very good. But we expected good Italian food for the price and were disappointed. Despite being close to the theater, I would go to another restaurant and walk 5 minutes longer.

The waiter placed the order for our main courses too late, then brought it to the wrong table, which meant we had to order it again and we only got our food after a 1:15 wait and 15 minutes before the start of our performance in the German Theater, even though we were 1st :45 hours of time had been planned. The food itself was good but the organization of the service was a disaster. Also no proper apology or discount for the stress or anything like that.

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and tasteful decor, with music that wasn’t too loud. However, our dining experience was average. My daughter ordered a Caesar salad, which, according to the menu, was supposed to include anchovies and capers. When it arrived, it only had croutons and parmesan. Upon asking the waitress about the missing ingredients, she explained they were in the sauce rather than as toppings. This was hard to believe, as there was no hint of those flavors, and it wasn’t clearly stated in the menu. It felt misleading and was quite disappointing. I ordered a Pinsa, which was also just average.

We were in this restaurant and were looking forward to a nice evening, but unfortunately we were disappointed right from the start. We were treated extremely unfriendly at the reception. When we asked about the reservation, we were greeted with a condescending “Really?” – neither a “Good evening” nor a “Hello” was to be heard. This interaction continued at the table: A friend wanted to know whether it would be possible to leave out the Parmesan on her pinsa because she can't tolerate it. The waiter's response was, "If it ABSOLUTELY HAS TO BE," in a tone that was anything but hospitable. As if that wasn't enough, later bread and parmesan were literally thrown onto our table - like animals. After dinner we wanted to enjoy a small aperitif, but the service still left something to be desired. No one came for a long time until a friendly young waitress finally explained to us that we had to order from her colleague. He then appeared with a disparaging look and the question: “Do you want to order something else or not?” I won’t soon forget this disrespectful manner – we felt like second-class guests. However, you have to pay a big compliment to the kitchen: the food was really excellent! Thanks to the taste and the friendliness of the young waitress, we gave it 3 stars. For the rest of the service, 0 stars would almost be too friendly. We hope that the management works on the attitude of their staff, because the potential of the restaurant is too bad to waste with such rude treatment of the guests.

We were seven people who were going to have dinner there. The reservation did not exist. We waited 1 h for the drink. When the food arrived after 2 hours, there were only 5 of us who got it in different batches. We gave up and two guests left hungry. Don't go there!

Here they have managed to combine a great ambience, a great selection of drinks and really delicious food. The decor is very stylish and the food is incredibly delicious! We were warmly welcomed, served quickly and friendly and the food was served to us after a very short wait. We were there before a visit to the German Theater and the evening couldn't get off to a better start thanks to the friendly team and the good food! We are already looking forward to the next visit!

To be avoided, avoided at any needed effort. Forgot table reservation, soaking wet chair, 85 minutes to get ordered food on the table, 45 mins to get ordered drinks on the table. Nice tasting food though, for the 5 of us 7 that got any. Mine came after 2 hrs sharp and 3 times saying it will come in 2 mins/5mins etc. Negotiated to pay for the drinks, not for the food. Luckily the neighborhood has many "hole in the wall" place with tasty food and timely service.

We went to Mia before our theater visit. If I only had to rate the food, I would give it 5 stars without thinking. But I think it's important for other readers to write this too, which unfortunately wasn't so positive. We were at the restaurant 2 hours before the show started and got our main course 30 minutes before. It's a real shame to have to swallow a 30 euro dish in 15 minutes and then have to take the other one that you can't manage to take with you to the theater. At this price level, I would have liked everything that was on the menu to be on the plate... We also had our table in the back area, which is where the open kitchen is. Unfortunately, all of the clothes smell extremely like food. Not quite as nice for a subsequent visit to the theater. Conclusion: The food was really good... our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the time pressure had a very negative impact on the whole thing... and it's your own fault if you go out to eat before an appointment... but more than 2 hours before?! By the way, two other tables next to us felt the same way. And yes..2 of us got a limoncello on the house..thank you very much for that :))

What an awful experience. We ordered fries and 2 tomato pastas (the most simple dish on the menu) and waited over an hour and a half for the food to come despite the waitress telling us she was chasing the kitchen. When the food finally arrived, it was nothing special. We then were charged for the wrong fries (double the price) and when we questioned, the waitress got very irritated and was only able to give us the cash back. We were made to feel like an inconvenience despite the restaurant not being that busy. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone!

Very large selection of delicious pinse on the menu, the choice is difficult, but you will be rewarded. Nice service too

This was an incredibly disappointing experience. We ordered the simplest item on the menu (arrabiata) with a side of fries and waited almost 1.5 hours for the food to arrive. The waitress, Jessica then overcharged us on the bill by putting through the wrong item instead of fries and when we raised this, was EXCEPTIONALLY RUDE. I explained that we waited almost 2 hours overall from when we arrived to when we finally were served our meals and then were overcharged so asked if there was anything they could do for us or just refund the item entirely as a sign of good faith (a matter of €6 on a €50+ bill) and her response was to the effect of ‘that’s not how it works, you ordered the food and you ate the food that’s it’. Terrible customer service and very mediocre food, don’t let the pretty decor fool you - spend your money elsewhere.

Service catastrophic. After 30 minutes and several requests, someone came to take the order. After another half hour of waiting, the drinks came, but he forgot what we had ordered for dinner and asked again. Food came after another 45 minutes of waiting. Conclusion I won't eat here again.

Even though you have a reservation you have to wait at least 30 minutes in front of the door while other people without a reservation get a table straight away and in the end don't get a table at all and then sit at the bar

It was a nice visit to this restaurant for the second time, we didn't have a reservation but got a seat at the bar. The place was packed, and despite all the work we had to do, we were served and entertained very nicely by the bartender. THANK YOU and kind regards! He mastered everything brilliantly on his own behind the bar and worked for two! Hopefully such tremendously good employees will be appreciated! The food was again very good and we will come back after seeing a musical.

the music is really loud, it even causes a headache

Food was good. They have a lot of pinsa (squared pizza) at this place but be aware that most of the ingredients are added after it has been in the oven. I really missed some melted cheese on the pinsa i ordered. Service was not that good and they completely ignored our table after taking orders. We did not get the opportunity to order any extra drinks or dessert. When we wanted to pay we had to hunt down our waiter and ask for the check. This took over 10 minutes. When we paid we didn’t leave a tip because the service was non existent. The waiter got really grumpy because of this. The restaurant is really noisy from all the customers and the also played very loud lounge music that made it even worse. If you want to have a conversation, go somewhere else.

After the stressful hustle and bustle at Munich Central Station (September 28th, 2024), we unexpectedly found a place of pleasant hospitality, friendly service and good food in their Trattoria MIA, especially the salads we ordered (Super MIA Salad and Insalata Mista+Goat Cheese). Since we hadn't eaten badly in Salzburg the previous days, I would like to let you know how pleasant our stay at your well-kept and clean restaurant was and how tasty your food was. Orlando

The service in our case was impeccable! Attentive, professional and fast. The decor is wonderful. The Spagueti came in a large dose but lacked refinement. My ravioli, although presented beautifully, came with a lot of oil or olive oil. I couldn't eat and I felt a little sick.

We had the pleasure of dining at this trattoria by chance. We had the pinsa with burrata, which was delicious! The service was extremely friendly and attentive, we felt completely at home. Despite being close to the train station, there is a cozy and quiet backyard outside but the interior is also tasteful and stylish. Definitely worth recommending!

We had a great time in this restaurant. We enjoyed a tartuffo pinsa, a mortadella pinsa and two seafood pastas, and everything was absolutely delicious. The pasta sauce was perfectly seasoned and generously topped with seafood. The pinsas were very well presented and tasted fantastic. The service was also very good, with an attentive and kind waiter. The decor is also excellent! I highly recommend this place!

Six of us had dinner at MIA early on Wednesday evening, it is a beautifully decorated restaurant with delicious Italian food & great drinks, the atmosphere is very cozy, the terrace outside is very nice & the service was very friendly and excellent, we had one Great evening, I can only recommend it, Grazie MIA 🥰✨
