So-so, the service was good, the food was okay, the ambiance not particularly inviting...

The food was super delicious 😋 and the homemade lemonade is just awesome

The food was overall solid, about 3 stars plus. What I didn't like was the outdoor area: The garden furniture doesn't look very inviting and would have been significantly more comfortable with padded seats. There are also no parasols, which would not only provide shade but also contribute to the outdoor feel – currently, it's barely noticeable from the outside that this is a restaurant. Unfortunately, the service didn't ask whether you wanted the menu standard or a bit spicier. My partner's beef stir-fry with vegetables and beef was very delicate, while my beef noodles were rather bland – I searched in vain for the "fried" dish. I had to get soy sauce and sambal oelek myself from the inside, as they weren't offered. Another criticism: The plates were cold, so the food was barely lukewarm when it arrived at the table. Pre-heated plates should really be standard. On the positive side, the moderate prices are worth mentioning. In the future, however, I would rather order a "to-go" meal than linger in the restaurant – especially because of the uninviting location.

Super delicious Asian food – the peanut curry with chicken is my absolute highlight. The homemade lemonades are also really delicious and beautifully served. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Vietnamese cuisine.

Very tasty. The waitress, I assume it was the owner, gave us really good advice and tips. You feel very comfortable as a guest here. They're really friendly. The food is also very tasty and looks absolutely fantastic.

We arrived just before closing time, but were still allowed to stay and enjoy a leisurely meal. The shop owner's son was very friendly, and we were even allowed to sit behind the bar for a bit. Super friendly service and honest food recommendations!!!!!

Update June 2025: We *have* become regulars :-) The quality is still outstanding!! Compliments to the chef, everything we've had so far has been truly, truly delicious! Remarkably delicious! A noticeable difference from other Asian restaurants. Ordered and picked up via the website for the first time today - it worked perfectly! Not exactly cheap, but extremely delicious and worth every euro. Friendly, prompt service. We'll be regulars!!

Excellent Vietnamese restaurant! The portions are large and very well prepared. The food is very tasty, and the presentation of the dishes is excellent! We ordered two rice noodles, one with shrimp and the other with tofu. They were very good. We also ordered rice with vegetables and spicy chicken, which was excellent. All the dishes were decorated with a raw carrot cut into the shape of a flower. Very well prepared. The dishes came to the table quickly. For dessert, we ordered fried banana with honey and coconut shavings. Very good too. We will definitely be back.

Great Restaurant with tricky parking. If it’s your first time: you have to park in the Lidl parking lot across the street. Mi Pho has great seating options: fully inside, semi-covered and, in summer, probably also in the courtyard out front. The menu is extensive and most dishes can be chosen with chicken or beef or duck. Pho is also an option and flavorful with lots of herbs. We had a dish with crispy duck and a beef dish, both tasty and beautifully presented. Rice came on the side. There was some confusion at payment when the higher price was entered for card payment and it was made very clear that cash is far preferred but we were able to resolve this. Overall a pleasant experience and we’d come back for the tasty food!

Unfortunately nothing went right this evening, the food was totally over-seasoned and therefore inedible. And the service handled this (it can happen) in an absolutely unprofessional manner. So I won't be coming back, even though there aren't really many alternatives in the area.

I recently discovered this restaurant and since then I have a new favorite restaurant. Of all the Vietnamese restaurants in Hamburg, MiPho is for me the most authentic and delicious, everything is just right here. It's not just the fantastic food that impresses, but also the super nice and dedicated staff that makes you feel really welcome. The atmosphere is simply super cozy, modern and a place where you immediately feel at home. It is truly an experience to eat there. What I particularly appreciate is how much the team responds to the guests' wishes. It is rare to feel so personally and well cared for. I quickly fell in love with this restaurant and can only recommend it. It's definitely worth the trip, and I'll definitely be back!

We've been there on and off for a long time; But we also visited the other Vietnamese in Schnelsen for a while. But MiPho has the more diverse menu. The quality is consistently excellent. The owner even invested during Corona and made very nice changes to the interior. Price/performance more than reasonable and very friendly, unobtrusive service

The food was very tasty and the portion sizes as well as the presentation completely justified the price. It was also no problem to actually prepare non-vegan dishes without animal products. Instead of meat, all dishes also come with deliciously prepared tofu to choose from, and a friend who wanted a dish that usually uses fish sauce was offered a different, vegan sauce instead.

The food was very tasty, large portions, nicely presented and there wasn't a long wait between ordering and being served. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, the staff are very polite and make you feel comfortable, we can only recommend it.

I was there for something to eat on Saturday evening around 8 p.m. It's well attended. Very tasty and quick. Pay in cash and by card. The food and drinks were very, very tasty. I'll be back. We ate a very, very good Pho Bo and delicious summer rolls here yesterday. The mint-ginger tea was great, the mint and ginger were very fresh and the warm Vietnamese coffee was still hot even after going through it (which is unfortunately rarely the case). We'll definitely go here again!

A well-run restaurant. The food tastes very good, is prepared with fresh ingredients and has a pleasant spiciness (also extra spicy if required). In summer, the herbs even come directly from our own herb garden. The service was reserved and was happy to explain the differences between individual dishes and how they were prepared, whether they were served cold, lukewarm or hot. The home made lemonades are also very refreshing and pleasant with great ingredients. We were completely satisfied. To round off the impression: The restaurant has been furnished with a lot of love. We'll be back!

One of the best Asian restaurants I know. Rather small and cuddly, but with very high demands on the quality and freshness of the food and the ingredients used! Even outside the home you get the perfect quality that you are used to. We always enjoy coming here.

Delicious Vietnamese cuisine in Schnelsen. Since there is hardly any parking on site, I would recommend traveling by bus. The map is clear. The prices are within reason. My tofu with peanut sauce was very tasty and the portion was large enough. The team was very friendly and accommodating. Paying by credit card is no problem. American Express is also accepted.

30 percent more expensive than Vietnamese in the city Here you pay a real Schnelsen surcharge. 16.90 for a Pho with chicken is expensive, hence 3 stars deducted. At Quan Do in the center and also in Winterhude a Pho costs 11.90 and the shop rents are much higher there. The Pho tastes ok with lots of vegetables and little chicken. The homemade lemonade for 6.90 is delicious and too expensive. Due to the lack of alternatives, we are coming back despite the excessive prices..But we hope for a better alternative in Schnelsen..Little tip: loud private phone calls in Vietnamese and ignoring guests in order to continue making phone calls from the female owner really doesn't go down well with the guests and has already been criticized in other reviews...

The waitress was just on the phone the whole time, private conversation via Face Time, very loud, as soon as she entered the restaurant she was already on the phone. An absolute no go!!! Something like that has no place in a restaurant. The ambience, carelessly furnished, no feel-good atmosphere. The food was ok, it's much tastier elsewhere!!! No reason to enter this restaurant anymore!!!

Nach längerer Zeit mal wieder da gewesen, offenbar inzwischen ein anderer Besitzer. Sehr freundliche Bedienung durch den Chef, das Essen kam relativ zügig und schmeckte richtig gut, eine Person hatte was mit Tofu, das war wohl nicht so lecker, ansonsten alles top! Achtung: Bezahlung ist nicht mit Karte möglich!! Das ist etwas hinter der Zeit... Ansonsten kommen wir gerne wieder!

Es wurde unbemerkt eine falsche Vorspeise serviert. Als diese schon halb verzehrt war, kam die richtige mit der Begründung "Der Koch habe einen Fehler gemacht und man lasse die jetzt hier am Tisch stehen" - später wurde dann darum gebeten die falsche Vorspeise auch abrechnen zu dürfen... sollte man dann vielleicht vorher sagen, so war es erpresserisch. Außerdem nur Barzahlung möglich, was nicht zeitgemäß ist. In Zukunft gehen wir woanders hin, obwohl das Essen ok war. Der Service und die gesamte Abwicklung war es nicht.
