Phở & Rice - Vietnam Street food in Hamburg

I ordered pho with beef and pho with tofu and vegetables. Just look at the picture to see how little meat there is and what they call "vegetables" with the tofu. We love pho and like to try different restaurants, but we were very disappointed here.

The service was very sweet and polite. The food though, let's say it was a questionable deal in relation to the price. I ordered rice with duck on curry coconut sauce. Half of the duck portion was pure fat, it wasn't that crunchy line of fat around the meat, no! It was just fat. And the curry sauce was way too watery.

We stopped in Hamburg for one night before our Christmas holiday and wanted to try some pho. We found this little shop on Google, just a 3-4 minute walk from the train station. The food was fresh and delicious, the homemade drinks were a pleasant surprise – refreshing, delicious, and not too sweet. The food came out quickly, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. My child and I loved it. We'll definitely come back!

Friday dinner was crowded, but we got in line quickly. The shop is small but very charming. We ordered the piping hot beef rice noodles; the broth was rich and flavorful, and the beef was plentiful and delicious. The portion size was just right for an Asian woman. My friend was also very satisfied with the curry chicken rice noodles. Overall, it's a place I would definitely visit again. PS. Remember to bring cash, as they don't accept cards.

I spontaneously decided to eat there when I had some time before my train. Without a reservation, I was kindly offered a table with table service. The pho and the homemade lemonade were great. The service was very friendly and the food arrived quickly. Reservations are recommended.

Best Vietnamese restaurant in town! Staff is friendly, food tastes amazing, loads of options to choose from on the menu and the prices are good. The restaurant is also very well decorated and cozy.

A truly authentic restaurant! We felt instantly transported back to Vietnam. All the little details, like the numerous photos, the stools, the lanterns, and even the exposed wiring 😄😅, make it so authentic. I must say that the restaurant space, service, food, everything seems to bring me back to Vietnam with an unforgettable familiarity. Friendly service, restaurant space imbued with the simplicity of Vietnam, harmonious food. I really hope that with the energy that the restaurant brings to German guests or foreigners here, it will make them have a more understanding and beautiful view of Vietnam and perhaps thanks to the restaurant they will go to experience Vietnam and see more of the beauty of the people, food, beautiful landscapes.

Delicious, authentic Vietnamese street food The pho ga was excellent – ​​aromatic, fresh, and authentic. The homemade spring rolls were also really good. The food arrived quickly, and the service was friendly. The only downside: they only accept cash. This was a bit annoying, as we didn't have any cash with us, and it somewhat tarnished the otherwise very positive impression. Nevertheless, it's absolutely recommended for anyone who enjoys good Vietnamese cuisine.

Really enjoyed their pho Bo tai and cafe sua da. The beef was so tender! They also gave me chilli and thai basil when I asked. That made the broth herby and spicy. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. Will be back.

Ich war vor kurzem im Pho&Rice Vietnam Streetfood in Hamburg und war absolut begeistert! Das beste Street Food in Hamburg gibt es hier wirklich – die Pho Suppe war unglaublich aromatisch und authentisch, genau wie man es sich von einem vietnamesischen Restaurant erwartet. Der Service war freundlich und das Ambiente gemütlich. Ich kann es nur empfehlen, besonders wenn man Lust auf echte vietnamesische Küche hat!

Sehr kleines authentisches Lokal . Wir hatten die typischen Sommer Frühlingsrollen , den Avocado Mango Salat. Ebenfalls die traditionelle Pho Suppe mit Rindsfilet und die Kokosnuss Curry Suppe mit Tofu. Der Service war schnell und alles frisch . Der Dekor hübsch und Vietnam Style authentisch.

Not so great. The service was nice, but completely out of sorts. There were hardly any customers, but they still couldn't come over to us or let us pay. Payment was cash only, of course – taxes, cough cough... You only find out after you've read it. The food was mediocre, in my opinion, not worth the money.

The pho with fried beef tenderloin was absolutely delicious. I would say it was one of the best I've ever had. Super intense. Super friendly service and an authentic atmosphere.

Wonderful small and clean Vietnamese restaurant with charm! We would be treated very kindly and attentively. The menu leaves nothing to be desired, there is something for everyone and there are also vegan dishes. In addition to a range of appetizers, Pho is available in different variations such as: Noodle dishes and also desserts. Everything we ordered was delicious! The drinks are refreshing and really recommended. We'll definitely be back!

The atmosphere and ambience were perfect, but all of us (4 people) only enjoyed the food moderately. Unfortunately, I expected more from Asian cuisine for the price, so my stars only apply to everything else! But I think there is potential! Maybe it was also because of the dishes we ate, but that also shows that the whole thing can still be improved! We still thank you for the good time! :)

It's delicious and the prices are good. But the fact that you can only pay in cash is really annoying and unfortunately no longer appropriate these days.

At the beginning I was very enthusiastic, but unfortunately I have to take back my first rating a bit. 3.5 stars would be my choice. We've been there several times now and the visits were just far too different. From perfect to totally boring and from friendly to totally overwhelmed, everything was there. If you're lucky, the perfect evening. But that's not enough for 5 stars.

The small and cute restaurant is within walking distance from the main station. The walls, ceilings, decoration, music, etc. are very reminiscent of small bars in Vietnam. There were three of us there and we found what we were looking for with starters, main courses and dessert. I was particularly pleasantly surprised with the starters and dessert. I've never been able to order them anywhere else. Now in fast forward - Goi xoài - Xôi chiên (yum!) - Nem chay - Phở bò viên - Phở càri - Bún xá xíu - Kem xoi - Bánh trung - Chuoi nuong (yum!) The service was fast, attentive and friendly and the prices, despite the location, were almost too cheap. Vegans also get their money's worth here.

This was a great discovery on our lunch break. As a small group of 5 we just entered here and had an awesome culinary experience. The food came fast, ist was fresh, looked amazing and tasted delicious. We all had different dishes and they were all, without exception really good. The price is totally fair, on the affordable side. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable. I found the place to be clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Starter (summer roll) and main course (pho with beef) were very tasty. As does the Vietnamese coffee for dessert. However, the portion size is very small and overall a bit too expensive for the prices. Service very quick and attentive. You can definitely go there, but it's less suitable if you're really hungry.

Definitely recommended! The service staff are super pleasant and very accommodating. The portions are really great for the price (and that's coming from someone who is always hungry).
