A very nice place with a great atmosphere and delicious food

I was there for the first time today!! The food was absolutely delicious. The three of us shared an antipasti platter, which was already very good! The main course, tagliatelle with veal and mushrooms, was superb. For dessert, I had three scoops of ice cream with hot cherries and whipped cream. The service was very attentive and incredibly friendly. Everything was fantastic! The ambiance is also very nice; the lighting is very pleasant, and there are even small battery-powered lamps on the tables. I felt very comfortable. I can wholeheartedly recommend it! It's definitely worth eating there.

We're not from the area and were staying at Dümo Caravans. After we finished there, we spontaneously drove here. We were greeted very warmly and politely shortly after entering and were able to choose a seat. We arrived around 4:15 p.m., just to let you know. After a short "seat" at the table, we were given the menu to order. We had pizza and Coke. The pizza was delicious, and our requests for changes were easily accepted and implemented. The wait was also just right—not too long and not too fast! The ambiance here is very cozy and stylishly decorated. We felt very comfortable. We can recommend everyone to eat here. If the circumstances arise, we will go there again!

Tried it for the first time. Had spaghetti carbonara and tagliatelle. The food was delicious and the atmosphere fantastic. The service was very friendly and accommodating. I'd be happy to go back. Unfortunately, no photos were taken.

We would give it 5 points in all categories. We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance while passing through on a Thursday afternoon. Besides the great ambiance and the very friendly welcome, the focus is on the delicious food. Both the pasta dish and the pizza tasted fresh and perfectly prepared. Furthermore, each table offers a delicious, high-quality olive oil for finishing.

A pleasant ambiance, a good menu, and pleasant seating both inside and out. The open kitchen is special! The prices are a bit higher, although I only noticed this with the carbonara: something that costs under €10 in Italy costs €16 here. But that's just a side note, because I would come back.

Delicious, whether it's pizza, pasta, or my favorite dish, Prawn Pil-Pil! I come to eat at Mezzomar at least twice a month. Very hard-working and friendly staff! The atmosphere is perfect! A true asset to Dülmen! "Why go far away when the good stuff is so close!"

We had a lovely evening with really good food. Huge, delicious pizzas and top-notch pasta dishes. The menu offered a wide selection, including drinks. Friendly service and a very pleasant atmosphere.

We waited almost two hours for our food (pizza, pasta). When we asked, the answer was, "There are 200 other guests here." The evening at the Mezzomar Dülmen was mediocre; even the pizza/pasta in Lüdinghausen was, in my opinion, much better. Four stars for the nice terrace seating.

Great original Italian restaurant. With a good menu and original ingredients for Italian cuisine. Here you can still get Tiramisu with alcohol like in Italy. Nice service and good ambience. Can also be booked for events.

Unfortunately, there was hardly any toppings to be found on the “semu a Mare” pizza. And the answer: “That’s just the way it is” from the waitress during the meal and afterwards “I can’t change that anymore” isn’t exactly customer friendly either…. I was really disappointed and the whole thing for 18€!

We were there on that Sunday afternoon (Spring Festival). It was full, as is logical...but the service was totally understaffed. We waited 48 minutes for 4 milk cafes.

Even though we were here for a short time, just to have a little cake and something to drink, our impressions remained very positive and we plan to come here for lunch or dinner in the near future. First of all, very nice service, friendly atmosphere and nice decor of the place. I can't write too much about the food yet, but the desserts and cocktail were delicious. There are plenty of places to sit both inside and outside. I recommend.

It was really tasty, had spaghetti cabonara and it was really delicious. The Cabonara is made without cream and tastes really fantastic and the cost was around €18 for it. So value for money is really great - highly recommended!

Very nice restaurant, we drove there spontaneously and we were given a table straight away, but it's better to go there with a reservation because I think it was just an exception because we were there relatively early and it wasn't that full. The food was top, the pizza and the lasagne were excellent. The service was great and the ambience was excellent. The next time we are passing through nearby and we fancy an Italian restaurant, this would be our first stop.

We've eaten there many times but this time it wasn't that great, the meat had a strange taste. We'll probably have to look for another place.

I like it here. Every time I'm in Dülmen, a visit to Mezzomar is a must. Delicious, uncomplicated food, extremely friendly and warm service and it's also nice that the same faces are there every time, making you feel like a regular guest. A well-kept and cozy atmosphere completes it. I can really recommend a visit here. At the weekend you are well advised to make a reservation.

The food so far has mostly been good, but not so outstanding that the prices would match it. Unfortunately, the last few times the person on the phone was so unfriendly that even trying to make a reservation stopped us from visiting. Ambience in the middle of the city center is actually nice.

Unfortunately, once again we got a table in the passage, despite making a reservation in good time, even though other tables were free. The food was great as always. But the allocated space on the upper floor unfortunately reduces the joy of visiting the restaurant.

The food came very differently for each guest, and there were long waiting times until everyone at the table could start the courses. The ambience was ok. The food OK.

Very cozy Italian restaurant that also offers many delicious vegan dishes. The Bruscetta originale and the Pizza Veggie were particularly delicious and you didn't even miss the cheese. The in-house lemonades are highly recommended. You can remember it.

This is probably the best food establishment in dülmen but this is not very hard as dülmen is bit of a dump.

First of all, the location is beautiful. Very pretty and elegantly decorated. The waiters are nice and really accommodating. The prices are good and the food is extremely tasty! We really enjoy coming to Dülmen and often especially because of this restaurant.

So honestly, the food service and ambience were great. Very happy again.

We were at Mezzomar Dülmen on Friday two weeks ago and were warmly welcomed by a young, very friendly service person. Because we didn't want to sit next to the front door of the train, I asked if we could sit at the top, to which the young lady said yes. She preceded us up the stairs and wanted to assign us a table, whereupon a male, extremely irritable service worker viciously snapped at and reprimanded the young woman in our presence. The employee's manner was extremely unpleasant for us, the young woman and other guests. The food was very good and the rest of the service was also great. When paying with the unfriendly employee, my wife spoke to the good man about the situation and wanted to tell him in a friendly way that this is not how you treat employees and guests. He then took this as an opportunity to justify himself with a raised voice and compliment us from the restaurant. We not only find this employee to be rude and unfriendly, in our opinion this employee is damaging to our business. Although the food and service, apart from the employee in question, were very good, we will not visit Mezzomar again.

As soon as you enter you don't feel comfortable. The waiters are annoyed and unfriendly. The food is too expensive for the quality. The existing ambience is appealing. No recommendation!

Wir haben eine Pizza und Spagetti Carbonara versucht zu essen. Beides eine Katastrophe! Die Pizza wurde mit derart viel Käse belegt, dass der Teig nur noch ein Brei war. Nebenbei war es unglaublich, wie man es schaffen kann, eine Pizza vollkommen geschmacksneutral zu backen! Vollkommen ungewürzt und ungenießbar. Meiner Frau ging es nicht besser. Ich habe noch nie gesehen, wie man es hinbekommen kann, Spagetti carbonara am Stück zu liefern. Man musst die Spagetti aus einem Block von Nudelmasse herausschneiden! Die Krönung war dann der Aperol Spritz. Glas voll mit Eis, und dann wurde wohl der Begriff Spritz falsch verstanden. Ein Spritzer Prosecco und ein Spritzer Aperol, der Rest Wasser und Eis. Obendrein wurde eine große Spielanlage zur Unterhaltung der Gäste in unmittelbarer Nähe für Kinder aufgebaut. Gespräche schlicht unmöglich.

Always pleasantly surprised by the friendly, courteous service in this restaurant. The ambience is dignified, cozy and yet modern, there are seating areas where you can have wonderful peace and quiet, others where you can see a lot of what's going on. Special requests for seating will be fulfilled and barriers and disabilities will be taken into account. There is even a very spacious and sparkling clean disabled toilet with changing facilities on the ground floor. The service is very attentive and everything is brought to the table in a reasonable time. The dishes we ordered were decently portioned and of very high quality and very delicately seasoned; What we saw at other tables was very, very appealing. Apparently it's not a problem to take leftover food with you. We are happy to recommend the restaurant.

The Mezzomar in Dülmen has a great location and, above all, a great outdoor area. We've been there several times. However, during our last visit we were very surprised at this sharp price increase. Pizzas for €19 or a coke for €6! The food is okay, but not so good that it would justify the price. For us, this was the last visit to the site, as the price/performance ratio is no longer really right. A pity. But the service is very nice.

Went here for a coffee on the beautiful, large terrace. The restaurant also looks very nice from the inside and invites you to linger. The coffee was good, service was friendly.

We escaped from a rain shower and just had a drink. The staff welcomed us warmly and brought us drinks quickly. The one and two dishes that passed us definitely looked very appetizing. Pizza and burgers very large. The atmosphere is very nice and you can feel comfortable here. The kitchen is open, we had a view of the interior and the kitchen. The prices are a little higher but not excessive. When we are here again we will also try the kitchen.

Vroeg in avond plaatsgenomen op het terras. Kwam vrij snel de vraag of we wat wilde drinken, snel op tafel. Van de kaart een Ceasar salade en spaghetti Carbonara salade oke, spaghetti met ietwat aangebrand spek, portie was ruim voldoende. Half karafje (1/2 liter) pino grigio genomen. Afgerekend €62,00

My schnitzel wasn't particularly tasty. The fried onions were in the pan for maybe 10 seconds, the fries were salty and made in old oil. Probably should have eaten pasta or pizza... July 2024: much, much better, really tasty!

The food was really tasty.😋 The service was very understaffed, but always friendly. We were there on Saturday and it was really loud and crowded. So definitely reserve!!

There were three of us with a baby there on a busy day. When we ordered, the menu was promising. Unfortunately, we were quickly disappointed when the drinks arrived. We ordered lemonade, it tasted like tap water with syrup. When the pasta arrived we were in a very positive mood when we saw it. We had pasta with chicken, carbonara and regular pasta with tomato sauce. the pasta with the chicken was not tasty the chicken was very dry. Had no taste at all just like the noodles. I had to add salt two or three times but unfortunately that didn't help because it just didn't taste good. The pasta with the carbonara was just very oversalted, the bacon was salty to the point where it couldn't be anymore and otherwise it tasted very disgusting. The only thing that tasted good was the pasta with the tomato sauce but you can't really go wrong with that make. When we complained to the waitress that we didn't like the food at all or the drinks, she said yes, why didn't you call anyone? The problem was it was so full and there were only three waiters who were completely overwhelmed with their job that day that no one even came and asked if we liked it or if there was anything else that could be improved When we then waited for our bill, we waited for half an hour until someone could cash in on us. That was just terrible. I've never had such bad Italian food. The high chair for the baby was also very dirty and the straps were simply broken….

We only drank Aperol Spritz and ate tomato mozzarella, but what the waiters brought for the other guests looked really good. Prices high, but also good goods.

Friendly staff and the food is good , not fine Italian cuisine , but tasty and big portion. So the place is good for an informal dinner with acceptable price - value relation.
