Metropol Kebap Haus in Frankfurt am Main

I could write something about the significantly inflated price, but my primary concern is the quality. The meat tastes of absolutely nothing and is just soggy. It was only edible because the over-the-top garlic sauce overpowered everything...! According to Google, there are plenty of other kebab shops in the area... do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

Quality decreased. 4 Years ago, 5€ for Döner and you could choose of calf or chicken and got brilliant food. Today 8,50€, only chicken and with little enthusiasm, they quickly toss a tongful each of lettuce, onions, meat, tomatoes, and cabbage onto the sandwich. So its nowadays much less, than 4 Years ago

We meet annually in Frankfurt and have a hotel just around the corner. The doner kebab and other dishes are truly delicious and fresh. We've been there several times, no matter what time of day, and it's always delicious. The bread and meat, in particular, are top-notch. Service is also very friendly. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality.

Everything was fine. Good, fresh, and the staff speaks English. That's all I could ask for. 😊 I recommend it.

So... Doner kebab, so-so... a lot of money for nothing. Not my cup of tea in terms of taste. Pizza... good... you can, but you don't have to... Please form your own opinion, because taste is subjective.

For €8.50 these days, you'd expect a standard kebab. And that's exactly what it was, nothing more, nothing less. Unfortunately, we were forgotten, so the service gets a big minus. The ambiance, despite the train station atmosphere, was trying to make the most of it.

Fairly solid little spot. Great customer service, they actually care and give good hospitality. Got the Iskander Kebap cuz I ate that in Istanbul Türkiye during my visit last year. Very good, almost identical, tomato sauce tho tasted a little “Italian” and no authentic for Iskander but it was still great. Provided small side salad free of charge and you pay after. Good spot not much to change.

It was easy to find, with plenty of seating available. The food was tasty, and the service was quick. The owner was friendly and patient, which we appreciated since we were clumsy and didn’t understand much. He gladly helped us with everything. Overall, I definitely recommend it for a satisfying kebab meal.

I don't recommend this place! €8.50 for 10 grams of meat and it's full of cabbage. Apparently, people don't come here for kebabs, but for cabbage! Maybe they're Muslim, but I don't think they follow the rules of Islam!

I would AVOID this snack bar especially as a tourist! It is overpriced and not of good quality! We paid €18 for 2 Dürüm and both were less than substandard.

Doner pizza is expensive (13€) but tastes very good. Sauces are also great. Staff very nice 👍

In my opinion, a very weak kebab, I ordered a cup of fries, I got everything on a plate, the meat was cold, the fries were hard, generally poor. Overall, I was disappointed.

Ate there for the first time. I have to say... It tastes good (Bahnhofsviertel difficult). Salad fresh sauces delicious. Optimal amount, not a little, not too much. You will definitely be full. Gladly again

We ate very well, 2 typical Turkish dishes, one with a chicken base and one with Kebab. Everything good, fast service, clean place, clean bathrooms. Turkish kebab is number 1. Good prices, located 400 meters from Frankfurt train station. I recommend it, the beer was also very good.

I was there for the first time on New Year's Eve, although it was full, the service was quick. Food was delicious. Restaurant very clean and all the staff were very nice.

Well, I haven't eaten something so disgusting in a long time. Soup not as you would expect, very high water content. Lahmacun is frozen food that has been thawed and doesn't taste good at all. Service forgets to bring us the fries we ordered. I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. I won't even talk about my stomach problems afterwards!

We are in Frankfurt for the second time for a festival and visited M Kebab Haus for the second time! Everything is top notch, great staff, nice atmosphere, very well maintained and the food is also top.

I asked if it was veal and they said yes. I asked why it was so light in colour, it was veal. It doesn't say anywhere that it's a calf. It just says Dönerfleisch. It's deception, you see. I do not recommend. Even though it is forbidden, I do not condone my rights. I know you don't care.

Our pies had delicious fillings, especially the meat, but the dough, in my opinion, was chosen poorly, because it is made similar to what is used for pizza 🍕

Never experienced anything so unheard of: One dish ("Yufka") was read from the menu and ordered, and another "Yufka Döner" was served. When I pointed out that it was the wrong dish, there was no insight because I would have had to order "Yufka without kebab meat". I explained to the local people several times that it was certainly not my fault if I read a dish 1:1 from the menu and they expected other dishes out of habit, but I was only shouted at in an arrogant and unfriendly manner. To make it even better, against my will (I said several times that I didn't want to eat any more) they served the right dish, which didn't taste good (dry) and charged me one euro too much - but I didn't have any If they have the desire/strength to argue against it more, they should be happy with the additional euro.

Best Yufka of my life. The Yufka bread is freshly baked in a minute and the ingredients are high quality

First of all, I am glad that I found this place through google.maps. The food is very good, the service is perfect. Everything on the menu is fresh and cooked with love for food. Other restaurants in Frankfurt can only imitate Metropol Kebap House. They are the best!

Everything was really great, food, service, atmosphere. The fries were really tasty. Apple spritzer was also really tasty there for the three of us after a long trip from Asia. 2 times! Both times were really great!

We tried a few kebab places during our visit to Frankfurt and this place was definitely the best one. We tried Adana and Döner. Both very good.

After Ramsteinn we went to eat a durum. Order was incorrect, they were super unfriendly when I went to report this. Really unacceptable. Much against their will, they fixed it and I had to pay an additional 2 euros. Food ok without being special service big 0 and certainly not friendly!!!

I was here in 2022 and just now during Euro Cup Futball. This seems to be a family establishment, they all work so hard together, are gracious in the face of rude football fans, drunkenness and disrespect. They work to keep the space clean, efficient and give respectful service even when it is not earned. I ate here three times in five days - a great place to get some fresh raw vegetables and delicious döner as a break from Frankfurt's (also delicious) bread, potatoes, sausage, cabbage, spargel. A very recommended stop.

We stayed in Frankfurt for 4/5 days for the euros and went here every single day because it was next to our hotel. Staff, food and service was absolutely brilliant. The price was very good too (Even started to remember our order towards the end) if we ever find ourselves in Frankfurt this will be first place we go!!

Been here several times for lunch break. Very tasty food. The highlight for me is the Köfte Dürüm. Very tasty, nice and juicy, well seasoned, highly recommended. The kebab meat is also very good, not too dry, also juicy and well seasoned. You also have a very large selection of food. The staff is very friendly and nice. You are served quickly and receive your food in a reasonable time. Of course, lunchtime during the week is busier and you have to wait a little longer for your food. Price-performance ratio is appropriate. You will definitely be full for the money you spend here. You also got tea after your meal.

First time in Frankfurt and I randomly went into this restaurant as it’s close to my hotel. First of all, the service was fantastic!!! The owner (?) was very attentive friendly and he helped me to customise my meal (I swapped chips with rice). The food portion was huge so I had to pack some as my dinner tomorrow 😋 There are numbers and pictures of the dishes on the menu so even if you don’t speak/read German like me, you can still order the food you like 👍 It’s also good for solo travellers as I saw many people dining in solo including me. Highly recommend it to everyone in Frankfurt!

Shortly before midnight we were overcome by hunger and decided to go in here on the way. Very nice friendly service, nice employees. Clean atmosphere with plenty of seating. We ordered - Chicken skewer with fries - Doner box with fries - There was flatbread with it We were satisfied with the food. Meat was very soft and flavorful. Fries were great, salad and also the kebab meat. Despite the fact that we were there 15 minutes before closing time, we were served friendly and sat relaxed to eat without being chased out. Very customer friendly!

I've seen better kebab shops. But it took a long time for someone to respond and come to us. There was really nothing going on. Then the cards came and at the same time a terrible acrid smell of sweat came over our table, which was not normal. This employee should have washed urgently🤢🤮 An order. Doner pizza 🍕 5 out of 10 Why 6 there were onions on everything, the pizza would only consist of onion pieces. Order 2. Please cut a yufka without onion and once in the middle. Yufka 6 out of 10 Why 6 because of course onion would be put on it 😡 and that wouldn't be cut in half 😡 I would say drinks are a bit overpriced.

One of the unique things here was that they serve beer. Service was alright, food average. Something was a bit off, when the person working in kitchen said to me the doener meat was beef. I could have sworn it was chicken, however.

When there is a trade fair in Frankfurt, you can hardly find a table in the area in the evening. We discovered Metropol while searching and were lucky enough to find a free table. It's "just" a snack bar and the ambience is accordingly, but it's really worth a visit. I had a lamb skewer with rice. The food was really delicious. The prices are “Frankfurt level” but the price-performance ratio is really okay. I tried the open red wine dry, which also tasted good. The staff is very friendly and prompt. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos.
