The food was very tasty; unfortunately, it was also expensive compared to other Greek restaurants.

We were there on a Sunday evening. The ambiance wasn't very appealing... plastic flowers, too loud music. Unfortunately, the gyro wasn't convincing for the high price. It wasn't crispy. A portion costs €22.50. The plates were also cold. When we paid, the unpleasant manager explained to us that card payments were only possible with debit or cash. We had two credit cards and were treated very rudely. We can't recommend this Greek restaurant.

The food was quite tasty overall, but with a few drawbacks. The "garlic potatoes" don't deserve their name when they only have a tiny dollop of garlic sauce on them. The meat could have been more flavorful, too. What's really disappointing, though, are the prices: For what you get, both the quality and quantity are inadequate. We often eat Greek food and therefore have the opportunity to compare – the value for money here is definitely on the lower end. Also important: Bring enough cash, as not every debit card is accepted.

If you want delicious Greek food, this is the place for you. The food is lovingly prepared and served very quickly. The service is excellent, and entertainment is guaranteed. The prices are very reasonable. The chef and his team ensure that you want for nothing. You're greeted with a delicious greeting from the kitchen, and then a glass of ouzo as your farewell. We'll definitely be back.

I rarely go to the same restaurant twice in a row, but I celebrated this one. Saturday and Sunday. The quality and presentation of the dishes were world-class. The taste was extremely good. A top-notch restaurant. This won't be the last time I've been here, even though I'm not from the area. Even when the restaurant is full, the service is still pretty quick. The starter salad and the chef's special are also absolutely delicious. I'd happily go back anytime. 120% recommended.

We ate here today, and it was simply perfect. We were given a shot before AND after our meal 👍🏻 The meal itself was incredibly delicious and the price was completely reasonable. Everything worked out, I got a salad and sake, but only waited until the bill arrived! I had a draft beer 🍺 (€4.80) and a portion of calamari with fries 🍟 🍟 (€12 on the menu)!! Total amount: €20 with tip. Bill: €28, as you can see in the picture. Everyone who came in—pay attention to the bill! The food is okay, I can't say enough about it! The atmosphere—a disaster—everyone laughing loudly, very, very loudly.

We stopped by Meteora and wanted a bite to eat. Not all the tables were occupied, so we asked if there was room for us. The owner walked past us and simply said, "Please don't!" A guest suggested we sit at his table because their table was too big and we would definitely have had room. But the owner didn't allow that either. Too bad, because we really like Greek food.

It is not possible to pay with a VISA card. The owner asked us to go and collect the cash and cursed at us.

I wanted to eat at the restaurant because of an allergy. But I was very rudely informed that it wasn't possible. So, goodbye!

The food tastes delicious every time and arrives relatively quickly. Only the rice seems pre-made and not quite as warm as the rest of the food. Great, friendly service, and the restaurant has a really nice atmosphere.

Spare yourself the visit. The boss was chaotic and extremely rude to his staff. He slammed my drink on the table and it spilled out the top because he was in such a hurry. The food was not great but eatable. The “grilled sheep cheese” was baked and served wrapped in foil - not what was advertised for €12. The waiter who served us was nice though, I hope he finds a new job soon.

EC cards or even payment cards are undesirable. And if you mean an ouzo at the end, like you can get in all good Greek restaurants, that's not the case!!

I agree with the opinions that the food overall is too expensive for what you get. It has very little seasoning and comes across as a bit bland with the fried potato slices and thick onion rings. After eating I felt more like I had eaten fast food than Greek specialties. At first the owner was a bit rude, but that subsided over time. It was incredibly warm in the winter garden, so we opened the door a little, which no one complained about. So far it's a casual atmosphere, you'll get full and it's not bad, but just not an authentic Greek experience for the money.

We stayed at the Meteora here in Bad Waldsee Sorry, the hunger was so extreme. That's why people have already started snacking everywhere. We went for lunch today. It was so delicious and cheap too! I had a coleslaw and calamari (I already chopped up my calamari) with fries, my husband ordered gyros in metaxa sauce with cheese gratin and he wanted red rice. The lunch menu has dishes between 10 and 12 € and decent portions.👌🤤 You can sit comfortably under large parasols in the guest garden, just a great place👌🤤❣️I promise, next time I'll take photos BEFORE we drive in with the fork😇

We like to eat Greek food and were in Bad Waldsee and tried the restaurant. The food was rather average and unfortunately overpriced. The waiter was rather rude upon arrival and later neutral, there was no trace of Greek hospitality. We won't go there again.

Ich habe die Lammkeule gewählt und habe es nicht bereut. Das Fleisch war ausgezeichnet, es war sehr zart und schmackhaft. Das Personal und der Chef waren sehr aufmerksam und nett

Gut waren: Fisch, Fleisch, weiche Calamariringe, Kaffee und Mokka. Schlecht waren: Knoblauchkartoffeln = stark frittierte Kartoffelscheiben mit einer intensiven Knoblauchpaste aus der Tube gedrückt, liebloser Salat, Reis al dente, wenig Tzatziki, dünne Schorle, sehr teure Preise, nur Barzahlung ohne Erwähnung, verstaubte „Deko“ - eher abgestellte Dinge. Nie wieder!

Grill plate for €19.50: Gyros was O.K. ,Steak very small and dry.Bifteki was just minced meat with no taste. The fried potato slices without salt, but with garlic paste from the tube. 3 tablespoons of tzatziki extra for €5.80...... Not recommended!

It wasn't Greek enough for me. If I'm honest, I got my bifteki better and cheaper in a Greek chip shop.

We love Greek food and Greek hospitality and therefore enjoy eating Greek food often. Unfortunately we were very disappointed here. The owner's reception was unfriendly and unfortunately it didn't get any better during our stay. Unfortunately, the food was only average and overpriced for the quality, as has already been described here. I can only confirm it. We are often in Bad Waldsee, but would not visit this restaurant again.

Food is ok, but nothing more. I think the prices are too high for the quality of the food. Staff very inattentive. We weren't asked once if we would like something else to drink, even though all the glasses were empty. This means you don't make any sales and you don't have satisfied guests. Will not visit this restaurant again.

I can't understand how the good reviews come about. overpriced food. very small portions. For a second helping of tzatziki you have to quickly pay 7 euros, that should actually be included in the service. The boss seems to be a bit annoyed when you have something to complain about😂... there were 6 of us who probably never want to go there again.

Food was OK, service was a bit musty when we entered the beer garden and wanted to ask if we were disturbing. In the summer ONLY Birgarten catering is not for everyone. The staff is very loud with friends or on the phone, giving you the feeling that you are a nuisance. Ambience so-so. So for me there is no second time, sorry.

There is no relationship between price and performance. Waiter extremely hectic and totally sweaty. Towel on the neck was served. Loud and exaggerated conversation with regular customers. I just gave them ouzo and drank along diligently. Just another smoke while standing at the table…creepy. Thrown over glass and tried to pick shards out of food. Smooth 6

We chose this restaurant because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, when I looked at the menu, I realized that there was no vegetarian main course. I didn't want a farmer's salad. The portions are very small and the food is way overpriced. Price-performance ratio is not right here at all. We won't be coming back.

The food was ok but very expensive! The portions are very small. You cannot pay by card here, only cash is accepted. Not a restaurant for us that we would recommend. A pity!

I found the starter plate for two people to be a bit too small in terms of selection, for €33.00. Otherwise the main course was a bit cold, the lamb was too dry, sorry but I'll try it again in the summer...

Wir sind zufällig auf dieses Restaurant gestossen und sind trotz anfänglichen Bedenken aufgrund des doch recht hohen Preisniveaus eingekehrt. Das haben wir keineswegs bereut. Nicht nur, dass die Bedienung sehr zuvorkommend war, auch was uns auf den Tellern serviert wurde, braucht keinen Vergleich zu scheuen. Das Essen war lecker und schön angerichtet. Bestimmt werden wir da nicht das letzte Mal Gäste gewesen sein

Wir hatten bei Meteora dieses Jahr unsere Betriebsweihnachtsfeier. Es war alles so wie es sein sollte.

Das Essen war gut. Das Ambiente und die Freundlichkeit könnte man noch verbessern. Aber meckern will ich nicht. Nur ehrlich sein.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, Ambiente gut und Personal sehr freundlich. Meiner Meinung nach sind die Preise ein wenig hoch. Das Lokal ist empfehlenswert. Kartenzahlung war nicht möglich. Leider ist das Lokal nicht barrier frei und nicht geeignet für Menschen mit operierten Knien oder so

War alles sehr gut. Brot könnte man bei mehreren Personen nochmal nachreichen.

Wir waren zu zweit, hatten per Mail versucht zu reservieren, - zum Mails lesen hat der Chef aber generell keine Zeit :-/ Trotzdem was bekommen... Salat wurde vergessen, Tsaziki war etwas wenig, deshalb habe ich nachgefragt ob ich nochwas bekommen kann... Habe ich bekommen, - 6 Euro 50 wurde mir verrechnet.... Alles was recht ist, aber das ist dann schon frech.... Das Essen war sonst soweit ok bis wirklich gut, das muss man fairerweise dazusagen. Bad Waldsee hat da Glück der Rehazentren, deswegen ist die Gastro Dichte vergleichsweise relativ hoch und manche meinen, das könne man ausnutzen. Dort auf jeden Fall mit uns definitiv nicht mehr..

Ich freue mich immer wieder ins Meteora zu gehen ... Kinder sind herzlich willkommen. Essen kam sehr schnell und war mega lecker.

Da ich griechisches Essen liebe, viele Male schon in Griechenland war und diverse Restaurants in Deutschland kennen gelernt hab kann ich sagen, dass das Essen und alles andere hier erstklassig sind!!! Nur zu empfehlen!

Wir eine Gruppe mit 12 Personen haben wieder einmal sehr lecker Gegessen. Wurden gut und mit viel Humor bedient was will man denn noch mehr?

Waren heute das erste mal hier. Chef etwas chaotisch aber super. Essen der Hammer. Der junge Mann im Service super. Kommen gern wieder. Nur zu empfehlen.

Mussten sehr lange auf das Essen warten und die Portion war für ein griechisches Restaurant auch recht klein dafür jedoch einen stolzen Preis. Geschmacklich war es okey… Der Ouzo wurde uns vom Kellner im vorbeigehen erst angeboten als wir bereits gezahlt haben und schon Anstalten zum Gehen gemacht haben. Alles in allem war es Okey um den Hunger zu befriedigen jedoch würde ich das nächste Mal wieder zu meinem Stammgriechen nach Weissenau gehen der in allen Disziplinen glänzt.

Wir hatten erst mal Glück, in dem ansonsten ausgebuchten Biergarten noch einen Tisch für zwei Personen zu bekommen. Der Rest war enttäuschend. Die Gläser waren schlecht gespült und da halfen auch die beiden Kurzen aufs Haus nicht, denn deren Gläser waren auch nicht sauber. Die Vorspeisenplatte bot alles, was man auch abgepackt im Supermarkt bekommen kann. Der Griechische Salat für satte 15€ kam mit zwei Oliven und ca. 30 Gramm Schafskäse. Ansonsten bot der Teller noch Tomaten, Gurken und Zwiebelringe. Die paar Salatblätter darunter dienten mehr als Deko und waren hart. Mit unserer Kritik konnte der sehr junge Kellner nicht umgehen. Den Chef schien es auch nicht weiter interessiert zu haben. Fazit: unter unseren letzten 100 Essen auswärts war das Meteora die größte Enttäuschung.

Leider nur mangelhaft: Bratkartoffeln Fertigware, Fleischqualität (Lammkotelett sehr klein und Schweinefilet - war keines und überschaubar ) - unaufmerksamer Kellner und überteuert.

Essen war gut, jedoch sind die Preisunterschiede zwischen dem Aushang vor dem Lokal und die im Lokal eine Frechheit. Beim Gyros hatten wir einen Preisunterschied von 6€ dies ist nicht akzeptabel.
