Super delicious setting. The noodles are very authentic.

Excellent restaurant. Coming from the US my expectations of any Asian cuisine in Europe were low but the food here would perform well in US cities -- if that's any gauge to go by. The ramen was excellent though the gyoza was a bit greasy and service took some time once seated as if we'd been forgotten. Overall, I'd return. Only visit if you have some time to sit and relax while you eat.

The ramen is incredibly delicious and tastes like you'd find in Japan. The tapas/appetizers like takoyaki and karaage are also highly recommended. I'd be happy to come back :)

*Edit, I've been there several times now - and the service is getting worse and worse. Sometimes you wait 1.5 hours for your food, then you say you don't have time and want to leave, and then they bring you some other ramen and you pay the original price of the other one. On top of that, the place often just happens to be closed when they want to open (at least three times) - or when you go in, you're told "no, we're closed" - nobody answered the phone back then, and if you call now, the number is no longer in service. It's a shame, actually. I'm going with the original review, so I'm dropping two stars - for everything. I found Kuromayu (€19) and Karamiso Ramen (€18) with chashu and karaage. Both were pretty tasty, but the miso was significantly better, even though "1 euro" is cheaper. The spiciness was also perfectly fine for someone who never eats spicy food, barely there. The karaage was a much better choice than chashu, but that's just my personal opinion; I like it better. Both times, dishes were sold out or unavailable, so I guess this happens more often. The staff are super friendly, but sometimes you have to wait a little longer to order/pay. Unfortunately, it's too expensive for my budget for a daily lunch, but I'm really hungry. As I said, it's very tasty. I really want to try the okonomiyaki for €24, but that's a bit too expensive for lunch right now. But of course, prices are rising everywhere. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to try other ramen shops. I now find it one of the better ones, especially after the miso ramen.

The appetizers are great! The ramekins are also very tasty, which I can only praise. The portions are large. The price isn't that cheap. I can recommend it.

Super authentic cuisine, finally something new in the area. We were there for lunch today and would love to come back (then for sushi in the evening).

This is the best ramen I've had in Munich! The owner is very friendly, and the karaage and takoyaki are also the best I've had in Munich so far.

I did some research online and decided to go! By the eighth day of my trip to Europe, I was getting tired of Western food, so I went for ramen and sushi. They had run out of tuna sushi and the restaurant was busy, so they gave me a little extra and brought out a bucket of salmon and white fish sushi! The sushi was the best I had on my trip! It was probably at the level of sushi made properly in Japan! (Not the level of sushi you'd get at a ramen restaurant overseas.) The ramen noodles were a little soft, perhaps to suit German tastes? For me as a Japanese person, they were a little too soft, but I guess it was within the realm of acceptability. I read some negative reviews about the service, but I wondered if they were just too busy and sloppy? I realized that both Japan and Germany are struggling with labor shortages. This ramen restaurant also serves delicious sushi, so I recommend it for Japanese people too!

Best ramen in Munich, and luckily for me within walking distance. The food is delicious, the miso ramen is truly delicious. The owners are always lovely and welcoming, and their good mood contributes to the great atmosphere. I will keep coming back!

This is the second time we tried to order online for pickup, and again the order was canceled 15 minutes after our order was successfully placed. We're big fans of Takumi, and they block online ordering when it's too busy.

Japanese food in Munich has never been so good in terms of price/performance.

Even we made reservation and it was confirmed, restaurant is closed without any notification. So disappointed because we took a time to come here. Never come back

I visited Munich as a stopover in Switzerland. I arrived just a few minutes from the BMW Museum. I had the soy sauce and IKKO SPEZIAL. Both were delicious, especially the noodles! I'll definitely stop by again if I'm in Munich again.

Atmosphere is calm may it be lunch or dinner. Table are bit close to each other, a typical japanese style. The staffs are really friendly, though sometimes it takes a while to order. I've tasted nearly all of the items on their menu, from appetizer to main dish. All sorts of their ramen are savory. Looking forward on trying their BBQ Grill.

The ramen tastes fantastic. Very authentic and intensely flavorful. The noodles are cooked to perfection and of high quality. The service is friendly and attentive. My favorite ramen restaurant in Munich.

It was a really tasty ramen. The soup was delicious and the noodles were well-mixed, so I enjoyed it until the last bite. Thank you for taking the time to come over to my table and talk to me during the busy time right after opening in the evening.

Service was quite good. I didn't want my kimuchi in the ramen, but it was fine. It was a bit pricey. Many dishes were sold out. Besides, only 0.2 L drinks in 2025 is a disgrace.

There was only one guy in the restaurant who was constantly absent and made the local run just barely. He was still pretty nice and the ramen was okay. Overall janky but okay.

うまい！So salty! So meaty! Spicy but full of flavor! I'll recommend this place for local friends in the future. The only minor note I'd ask is for the edamame to be salted more, but that's a matter of asking for extra, no problem. I had a lot of fun trying to communicate with the person at the bar speaking no German and very limited Japanese. But they took my request for onion-free very seriously when I successfully communicated. They deserve a sixth star just for this.

Overall, a lovely japanese restaurant in the neighbourhood. We were delighted to see this type of place in this area. The staff is very kind and the atmosphere is pleasant. I’ve deducted 1 star because: 1. The tables are really close to one another, so there is no intimacy of conversation, no place to hang your coat and bag. 2. Although the staff is very kind, they do take a while to take your order. 3. A bigger issue we had is that we ordered the Tan tan ramen and 4 ingredients were missing: mincemeat, soybeans, onions, broccoli. We didn’t make it a big deal, but we asked about it at the end of our meal and didn’t receive an apology, rather a “this is our traditional japanese meal”. Anyway, the food was very very delicious. Even with the missing ingredients, the portions were very big and the sauce was very tasty. Aside from the small issues, we recommend the Tan tan ramen and special miso ramen, as well as the balls with octopus meat (we call them octopus pancakes).

Today we ate for the first time at Menya Ikko, a small Japanese izakaya just a few steps away from the Milbertshofen subway station. We were greeted and served in a friendly and very courteous manner. On the recommendation of the chef, who comes from Sapporo, we chose miso ramen. What can I say... for me it's the best miso ramen in Munich! The chef lives up to his hometown of Sapporo with his truly authentic Sapporo Miso Ramen. The other dishes (karaage, sushi and gyoza) were also very tasty and freshly prepared. Yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) is also on the menu alongside other typical Izakaya dishes. Arigato gozaimashita for a nice evening and see you soon!

I'm not Japanese, but the ramen here is incredibly close to what I ate back in Japan. The broth is strong and balanced, the chashu is super tender, and the toppings such as corn, broccoli and spinach round the whole thing off perfectly. Especially the noodles – just the right bite! I ate everything with peace and enjoyment, right down to the last noodle - really mindfully. The Kirin also fit perfectly.

Half of the map was not available. If you are allowed to guess what is available on the menu when ordering, something is wrong. No sushi available, no bentos available, no gyoza, no mochi with bacon, no camembert with bacon. The service doesn't speak German and rolls its eyes when you want to pay separately for two main courses and a starter...once and never again.

Apparently the card payment machine is broken during the day and have to pay with cash. When I paid 100 euros, the old man got upsets and said he didn't accept large amounts and that he didn't have any change. When I said, "The person before me paid, so you should have some change," he said, "How snaky(卑しい)" I was shocked.Ofcourse he had change. I was disappointed that there were shameless people working there. It didn't seem to be the owner.I never come back.I don't recommend it. Ramen and karaage is not bad. takoyaki is like a frozen one.

Friendly,authentic service.Food was great,very tasty despite Chefs recommendation that we come later to try the broth with ramen,he explained it usually takes at least 6 hours for full flavour to be fully appreciated. We will go back again soon!!

A Japanese restaurant with lots of soups. The soups were hot, had many different ingredients and tasted really good. You can go there again. however, it is not cheap.

It is one of the few restaurants in Germany where you can enjoy high-quality miso ramen, so I was indebted to them, and the fried chicken and okonomiyaki side dishes were even more delicious. Apparently they also have barbecue, so I'd like to try that next time.

I was here yesterday with my friends and had a good experience. We ordered yakiniku for four and sushi with it. Meat, vegetables and sushi are very fresh and tasty. Honestly, the price matches the quality. Service is very friendly and helpful. Ambiance was cozy and quiet. We will be back and Highly recommend!!

We were there on a Saturday evening. Tantanmen was already very spicy. My two companions had to fight, she said. My Ikko special with five slices of meat! It was also spicier than I thought. But everything is very delicious. Especially karaage!! It's a shame there wasn't any sushi or okonomiyaki that day. Then we'll come again. Thanks for the nice conversation and sweets after dinner!

Just like Japanese ramen! I received the spicy miso. The soup had an addictive flavor with a perfect combination of garlic and spicy miso. The store clerk was also a fun person.

We ordered two ramens and an appetizer. Unfortunately the ramen didn't come at the same time and the appetizer came at the same time as the 2nd ramen. The broth tasted very good, the additions were rather sparse, but the taste was also good. It was not possible to order sushi - unfortunately no information was given when the menu was issued. Price-performance for the overall impression of the evening is rather below average.

The taste of the food was very good. Had Karamiso Ramen once with and once without meat, as well as Miso Ramen and Edamane as a starter. We've had better edamanese elsewhere, but they were okay. The ramen with pork belly is difficult to eat because there is no knife at the table. I would recommend opting for the grilled chicken here. The vegetarian version should be cheaper because only cheap potatoes are used instead of meat, but the price is the same Ambiance and sanitary facilities are so-so. Overall it was OK, but I'm sure we won't be back as there's nothing out of the ordinary.

I have eaten at Menya Ikko twice and will not go again. The ramen was disappointing: the broth was way too salty, the corn was obviously canned, and the eggs were cold. I ordered the vegetarian version and cold potatoes were served instead of meat. Overall the dish looked cheap, which is not ok considering the price ranges from 17 to over 20 euros per portion. The service was OK, but that couldn't make up for the poor quality of the food. We wanted to order sushi as an appetizer, which was on the menu, but we were told it wasn't available because the chef wasn't there. This was irritating and left us wondering who made our ramen then. The ambience is okay, but the men's toilet was broken on both visits. The price-performance ratio is not right for me at all. In comparison, I recently ate ramen in Hamburg, which was in a completely different league - a great experience with lower prices, a larger selection and top service (MOMO Ramen, highly recommended.) I can see the many positive reviews for Menya Ikko I personally don't understand it. For me it is definitely not the "best ramen in Munich and the surrounding area" as the restaurant claims in its advertising.

It‘s been almost three years we eat regularly here. We tried once in Augsburg and already fell in love with the authentic Ramen. It is so good that the shop moved to Munich where we live. Lots of people shared about their best Munich Ramen already so I am not going to repeat. We tried the Sukiyaki for the first time last Saturday to celebrate our anniversary. It was really good. The soup with a thick seaweed for cooking match perfectly with the fine slices of Entrecôte. The egg’s dipping gave the cooked food a silky touch. The plate of vegetables, Konjac and Tofu was displayed so nice that your appetite will just shot up. The set came with a homemade Kimchi as appetizer. Each person has a miso soup and a rice. Our tummies were so full and satisfied afterwards. The price is reasonable. One day ahead reservations is needed.

Absolute insider tip for ramen. Extremely friendly team, cozy atmosphere and above all fantastic ramen. You can always get a place for two people, even without a reservation. I recommend the Tan Tan Men with peanut!

1. We had to wait several minutes for someone to come, even though there were already seated guests present 2. The waitress took our order, but the chef had to take all the orders again, no sign of the waitress (I think she only came back later) 3. Food really could have been warmer 4. Food wasn't good, some of the noodles were sticky, the broth wasn't seasoned well and wasn't balanced, and the minced meat didn't taste good either 5. The waitress messed up the order at the neighboring table. They ordered vegetarian ramen and the waitress wanted to give them normal ramen. They then had to explain again in detail what they ordered. (I also read in another comment that they don't offer vegetarian broth...) 6. Much too cold, the heating in the toilet was off and the window was tilted. We sat inside with jackets on. But that could be because the temperatures have only just dropped; this can happen if the landlord hasn't turned on the heaters yet. Only the karage as a starter was quite good, but unfortunately the ramen wasn't any more so

Special Miso Ramen and Ikko Special Ramen were top. These are authentic noodles from Sapporo Japan. Very fresh and tastes great. Service was friendly and helpful. Ambiance was cozy. This is the best ramen in Munich. Recommend!!!

Chicken w Mayo: 11/10 Ramen: 9/10 The minced meet was a still a bit cold when served but after stirring it was good and warm. Atmosphere: 8/10 they had weird techno playlist at the beginning kinda random. Not crowded at all!! Staff: 10/10 Super nice!

We had 3 different ramen and a portion of kimchi. I think there was a shortage of staff that evening, so it was a bit chaotic, but days like that happen. The kimchi was the best I've ever eaten. The ramen was also really incredibly good. What I would change: Egg with soft/runny yolk. The hard boiled one didn't taste that good. Nevertheless, we will definitely come by a lot more often! Edit: the meat was very tender, but could have been a little spicier

The ramen was exactly as I imagined it and tasted really good. I decided on the chicken in the ramen and unfortunately only got a small piece for €2, which I think is a bit much. The atmosphere is nice and you can also sit outside, the service was also very friendly!

I had a simple shoyu-ramen, and it’s really tasty. I'm from Japan and I've tried a lot of ramen places and this is definitely one of the best. The garlic flavor in the shoyu-ramen is amazing. I can recommend the place. They even have a menu for vegetarian. Hopefully they will have shoyu-butter-ramen.

Unfortunately, our visit here was chaotic. Long waiting times, incorrect orders and disorganized service characterized the evening. The food was also disappointing: overcooked, over-salted noodles. Despite the boss's heartfelt apology for the chaos, unfortunately no recommendation.

If you want to eat very good ramen, this is the right place for you. The prices are a little above average, but definitely worth it. The ingredients are fresh and it tastes incredibly good. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely come back!
