The food was good, but unfortunately the service was poor 😞 Orders took forever and many items were missing. While eating in the private room, we rang the bell repeatedly, but no one answered 😔 We went to the counter several times to order 😞 This can't be right. It's a real shame. We'll be back, because everyone can do better.

Thank you so much for the wonderful visit, the bowling is fantastic! The Effect and Salitos refrigerators look really cool. The food is also absolutely delicious. The very young service team is really nice, but perhaps still a little inexperienced in some areas. Nevertheless, it's a truly superb restaurant and a great place to bowl; the trip from Dortmund was definitely worth it.

They were very nice at first, but later, when a phone went missing, they immediately attacked us. They assumed we had the phone, which we don't think is right because there were other people there who they hadn't even asked. You can see it on the camera, so why are they accusing other people? That's unacceptable, so it's not even worth one star. We had fun, but when we were accused, our mood plummeted, and that was before New Year's! 😔😔

Good bowling alley and friendly service. The food was tasty and of decent quality. Unfortunately, the wait for the food was very long (even for the appetizer), and the atmosphere in the dining area wasn't ideal. Overall, though, it was okay.

Our Christmas party at the bowling alley was a complete success! Superb organization, great atmosphere, and tons of fun on the lanes. The food and drinks were excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. A perfect mix of team event and relaxed get-together – we'll definitely be back next year!…Thanks!

First off: The food was very good, the schnitzel even significantly better than the steak. Portions were very generous, ketchup and mayo were included; the smaller portions cost 60 cents... well, okay. Online booking didn't work. There's practically no ambiance; the dining room is clearly showing its age. The adjacent bowling alley is extremely disruptive. I understand that it's an essential part of the business concept, but it would be highly advisable to keep the door to the dining room closed. The noise level from the bowling lanes is more than just a nuisance. Unfortunately, only 3 stars for service, 4 stars for friendliness, but the staff seemed overwhelmed at times.

We were at the bowling alley for a children's birthday party, so all comments refer to the bowling lanes and not the restaurant/beer garden. The online booking process, which allowed for individual questions to be clarified, was successful. The welcome on site was friendly, and the staff member was easygoing, answered all questions satisfactorily, gave tips, and was able to handle spontaneously arising problems (such as a delayed drink order from a boisterous group of boys). As our booked time progressed, more and more guests arrived at the other lanes and in the restaurant. Despite the increased staffing, this led to a decline in service for us: the food arrived 12 minutes later than announced (this isn't really worth mentioning, but we were dealing with hungry boys who had already announced their hunger about 10 minutes beforehand and weren't easily distracted by the raw vegetables we were allowed to bring in, thank you). When it arrived, the food tasted good; the fries were fresh and crispy, as were the meat options. Ordering additional drinks was chaotic, as it took a very long time and was then incorrect, even though the order had been correctly placed. The service call dice change color so nicely when pressed. The children loved doing this, so I would suggest putting these dice aside for a group of children. This critical comment is only meant to prompt internal reflection on procedures, especially to reduce staff stress, as the service quality did not detract from our experience – the children thought it was FANTASTIC. We were the first to arrive, and every child received the right shoes (every size from 28 to 41 was available). After a brief introduction, the team lineup and game selection could be changed independently.

It was very crowded and chaotic, and although we had a reservation for a group of 10, no table was ready for us after bowling. Unfortunately, it was also a bit bumpy until everyone had their food, and the wait for drinks during the meal was far too long. The food itself tasted good; we all had schnitzel.

As a regular guest, I can only say good things about the Borner Sporttreff. You can simply have a great time here, whether it's bowling, tennis, air hockey, and much more. The bowling lanes, in particular, impress with their state-of-the-art technology and stylish look. Those who can't or don't want to exercise will also find their money's worth here. The food and drink selection is diverse, creative, and, above all, delicious. A spacious beer garden is available for good weather. There is more than enough parking nearby. The service and all the employees are courteous, friendly, and work quickly. This especially applies to the owner. The price/performance ratio is unbeatable. In conclusion: I highly recommend the Borner Sporttreff, and I will be making several more visits.

A very pleasant, great atmosphere there. Very nice staff, always friendly and accommodating. We went bowling and ordered food. Salad from the buffet and delicious schnitzel. We really enjoyed it and will play and spend the evening there again. From the reservation to the great evening, everything was perfect. Reservations are also super easy to make. The place had an extremely comfortable and great atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly, always kind and accommodating. We went bowling and ordered food. We regularly go bowling followed by dinner at Mellis. After our daughter was born, we were “only” there to eat. The team was very careful with us, offering a changing facility, closing the doors due to drafts and passing drinks past the stroller. Simply great!!! Didn't expect much, but the veggie vegetable schnitzel with pesto cream noodles tasted excellent and is an equivalent meat substitute in terms of price-performance. Drinks, service and bowling alleys are known to be recommended anyway. So everything is fine.

Absolutely nice staff, but seemed a bit understaffed. It could take a while until the next round of drinks arrived. But it wasn't too bad. Prices are fair. The interior seems a bit worn and outdated, but that can also be tolerated. Highly recommended to go bowling. We'll go watch football soon, as it's also a Sky Sports Bar. Then you can certainly write something to eat.

We go bowling there every 8 weeks. The food is great, all dishes taste good and are plentiful. The prices are okay. We are not bowlers and that's why it doesn't bother us that the track is getting old.

The food was inedible, the service was very unfriendly and also very slow (we waited 30 minutes for drinks), and we don't even want to talk about the ambience. That was the first and last visit here, believe me I come from the catering industry, this is not recommended.

Large selection of drinks and very tasty and fresh food!!! There is also a fresh salad bar where you can put together your own salad. Also perfect for a stopover on a bike ride/walk on the railway line.

Das Restaurant ist angegliedert an die Bowling- und Tennishalle. Eine gut-bürgerliche Speisekarte mit saisonalen Besonderheiten. Das Team ist freundlich und die Küche sehr lecker. Der Biergarten lädt im Sommer zum Verweilen an. Die Lage an der Balkantrasse bietet einen Stopp an.

Unfortunately, I have to say that the prices for the food on offer are not justified at all. Frozen, ready-made products and the preparation of the dishes in no way correspond to what you get for your money elsewhere. The staff is friendly and helpful, but a bit disorganized it seemed. Unfortunately, these days you have to have such experiences more and more often because every restaurateur seems to be jumping on the “inflation bandwagon” and charging too much money for inferior food. Sorry, but that could be much better.

From the beer garden to the bowling alley it was very nice, the staff was friendly and seemed happy to do the job. The food was also very good. Although it's quite close to the main street you don't hear much about it, all in all it's a very good shop and recommended.

Located directly on the bike path to Lennep. Large portion, deliciously cooked. There are several bowling alleys in the attached hall. When the weather is nice you can sit outside. Definitely worth a stopover.

We were there with a larger group to go bowling and then eat. We had reserved 2 lanes and a table for dinner afterwards. The reservations went well, and the supply of drinks at the bowling alley also worked well. About 30 minutes before the end of the rental period, we were asked to choose our food so that it could be served promptly. After we sat down at the reserved table, two ladies came shortly afterwards with the first 4 or 5 meals and said that the side dishes would be brought straight away. Unfortunately, there was also a meal that no one had ordered, which was then taken away. It didn't take long before the ladies came with the next plates of food, this time there were even 3 dishes that none of us wanted. Visibly annoyed, one of the ladies complained that it couldn't be that hard to remember what you had ordered and took the plates back with her. Unfortunately, the side dishes for the food that had already been served were not included this time either. Another 15 minutes later - the food that had been delivered in advance had become cold or had already been eaten without side dishes - the remaining food arrived, including the side dishes. When we asked why it took so long, we were only told that there had been a mix-up in the kitchen and that this could happen given the large number of meals (the restaurant was very busy). There was no further apology for the mix-up, the missing side dishes, or the waitress's inappropriate saying. In response to my complaint, my food, which had been cold in the meantime, was taken away and quickly brought back with a side dish. Kassler was also on offer on the daily menu, with tiramisu as dessert, which was also ordered by three people in our group. When I asked when the tiramisu would be served, the question came: Didn't anyone tell you that it was over? If you want you can still get some ice cream. One question remains unanswered - would dessert have been delivered if we hadn't asked? When it came to paying, we actually expected that we would perhaps be offered a schnapps, coffee or something similar because of the "mishaps", but we were far from it. When we asked the waitress about it, she called in the owner. Melli understood our annoyance, apologized for the inconvenience and waived the cost of renting the bowling shoes. My conclusion: Drink service and bowling alley were fine. There was a fairly well-stocked salad bar and everyone enjoyed the food. The service still needs improvement, perhaps this also has something to do with the staff shortage in the catering industry? For me there is no reason not to come bowling and eating again. Maybe it will be enough for more stars in the rating!?!

Four people and two dogs spontaneously went to dinner at the Sporttreff on Saturday after a long walk around the Wuppertal Dam. The hall didn't look very appealing from the outside, the beer garden was not occupied due to the weather. But I have to say we had a great afternoon. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were warmly welcomed. Very nice, friendly, young service who was on the ball. The drinks were at the table very quickly and were not stretched by ice cubes. The food was very tasty and generous in size. We had grilled plates, burgers and schnitzel, which definitely came from the pan and not the deep fryer. The fried potatoes are crispy, with bacon and onions and not too greasy. The fries were also very tasty. The salad buffet was particularly great because of its selection and the appearance of the products. No wilted leaves, clean and attractively presented. We ate better than in many restaurants and the prices are moderate. We will definitely come back.

The bowling alleys are very well maintained, tidy and clean. The atmosphere is very pleasant, not too loud and you don't get overwhelmed by loud music. The service is perfect and on point. Good organization! The subsequent meal there in the restaurant was excellent and very tasty. Very nice service in the restaurant too. We'll definitely be back!

Die Bowlingbahn war super, nur der Service hätte besser sein können..... sollte man evtl. mal dran arbeiten.... Könnte evtl. mehr Umsatz bringen. Ein guter Tipp am Rande.... die Nachosoußen sollten in kleine einheitlichen Schüsseln gebracht werden, dort wo der jenige der Küchendienst hat auch sehen kann wieviel in so eine Schüssel passt.... leider mussten wir die Bedienung (war sehr nett) ansprechen das die Soußenmenge jawohl ein Witz war.... danach gab es dann eine erneute Portion... Ansonsten war es sehr gut...

Gute Bowlingbahn. Leider miserabler Service trotz elektronischer Unterstützung haben es 6 Personen nicht geschafft anständig zu bedienen. Wir hätten locker das Doppelte verzehrt/ getrunken. Arbeitet dringend an eurer Organisation- es ist euer Verdienst ! Die Pommes und Currywurst waren lecker. An Nachos kann man nicht viel verkehrt machen, jedoch die Menge der Saucen sollte angepasst werden und nicht erst auf Nachfrage erhöht werden. Auch hier sollte der Kellner Augen für haben.

Ich bin wirklich am überlegen ob ich diese Bowlingbahn anpreisen soll, aus Angst das sie noch beliebter wird und wie schwieriger eine Bahn bekommen 😆,aber jeder sollte wissen wie gut man hier bowlen kann. Von außen würde man nie vermuten das eine moderne Sportanlage darin versteckt ist. Das Essen ist sehr gut nur etwas Schnitzel lastig.

Zunächst einmal haben wir den Laden nicht gefunden und waren total überrascht über dieses klasse Ambiente. Die Bowling Bahn ist neu und total top. Gespielt haben alle Altersklassen und alle hatten Spaß. Wir haben dann noch im rappelvollem Lokal eine Kleinigkeit gegessen. Die Pommes waren üppig und die Tacos mit Käsesauce viel und alles lecker. Bei der Rechnung habe ich zweimal gefragt , ob auch alles berechnet wurde, weil es so wenig war! Wir werden wieder kommen!

Coole kleine Bowlingbahn mit gutem Essen. Man kann direkt an der Bahn essen und einen schönen Abend haben.

Ich habe meine Tochter für ein Geburtstagsfeier dort abgelassen. So weit ich beobachten konnte ist das ein toller Laden um mit den Kollegen/in dort zu bowlen.

Wir waren an einem Freitagnachmittag ab 16 Uhr vor Ort. Die Getränke waren gut und schnell da. Die Bowlingschuhe waren sauber und sehr neu. Die Bowlingbahnen sind sauber und gut beleuchtet. Der Preis ist akzeptabel.
