Meersburger Winzerstuben

Everything was well seasoned, a large portion of tender meat, good spaetzle, a nice salad, and above all a delicious sauce – that's how you recognize a good cook.

We made a last-minute reservation for five at the Meersburg Winzerstuben on New Year's Eve – which is anything but easy on such an evening. The restaurant was very busy, and at times there was even a queue. We passed the time relaxing at the bar with aperitifs, which made the situation very pleasant. The welcome was exceptionally friendly and warm. Despite the large number of guests, our order was taken very courteously and attentively. The dishes were beautifully presented, the portions were perfectly adequate, and the food was of a high standard. Wonderful, traditional cuisine with excellent fish and meat specialties – exactly what you could wish for. We would particularly like to commend the service: The staff was consistently attentive, friendly, and present. They checked in several times to see if everything was to our satisfaction or if we needed anything – even though every table was occupied. A thoroughly enjoyable evening with great food, excellent service, and a very pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend the Meersburg Winzerstuben!

The food was spectacular! The family is three days since we ate their food, and we are still reeling at how wonderful it was.

Delicious and high-quality food, friendly and attentive staff; they easily accommodated special requests – we were absolutely satisfied today, can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, and will definitely be back! Or as the Germans like to say: "You can't complain!" 😀

We were a group of four and ate there on New Year's Eve. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was very quick and exceptionally friendly. The food also arrived surprisingly fast. The quality of the food was above average and therefore absolutely worth the price. We would gladly come back anytime!

We had two incredibly good meals at the Winzerstuben during our week-long stay at Lake Constance. Absolutely recommended. Best wild mushroom sauce ever! 🙌🏼

The price/performance ratio is reasonably good, however the steaks could be a bit larger for the price; I would expect 250-300g. The taste was excellent. We would come back and try something else next time.

Since we've lived in Meersburg, we've eaten here quite a few times. No matter what dish you choose, it all tastes delicious. We're so happy to have found such a great restaurant. The people are very friendly, and you're always greeted with a smile. The decor is quaint and cozy, and it's almost a shame that you have to go home eventually. Luckily, it's just a short walk away. We'll definitely try everything else on the menu.

Great atmosphere, great food. I used to eat there quite often with the kindergarten team, and everything was great again today. The ox cheeks were tender. Everything was perfect, just like last time! I would give the food more than 5 stars.

I ate here for the first time today. Super friendly staff. Large portion. Good value for money. Three sauces in my main course were perhaps a bit much: pesto sauce, brown gravy, and Gorgonzola cheese sauce. The combination took some getting used to. Otherwise, it was perfectly fine and I would definitely go back.

We visited on August 16, 2025. A fantastic restaurant, our first choice when we're in Meersburg. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The outdoor seating area is also great. All in all, a success!

The food was delicious, and changing the side dishes was no problem. What was truly unacceptable was that the waiter called us "girls" twice. We are two adult women over 35 and found that quite inappropriate and unprofessional.

We spent a week at Lake Constance. Unfortunately, we discovered this restaurant far too late. The service was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The food was wonderful, the wines were excellent. In short, we were thrilled and will definitely eat there again in six months when we vacation there again.

What can I say? I'm absolutely thrilled. We've been to Meersburg many times, but we've always just walked past this place. Now we've finally stopped in, and it was truly outstanding. Attentive service. Lovely atmosphere, and the food was absolutely top-notch. There's really nothing to complain about or criticize.

We had lunch there a week ago and it was excellent. Pleasant setting and a very warm welcome. Very good and generous dishes. Highly recommended.

Very good food, but unfortunately, the "friends of the house" are extremely primitive. As paying guests, we were severely harassed at our table and harassed in a very unpleasant manner. The standard leaves much to be desired and is damaging the business. That's a shame, as the quality of the restaurant suffers unnecessarily as a result. We probably won't be back. We've never experienced anything like this anywhere in our entire lives. Insane.

We were already impressed by the location on our last short break in Meersburg, and we were really looking forward to the Winzerstube. From the smooth process of reserving a table inside this time, to the extremely friendly and attentive service, to the excellent selection and quality of the food and wine: everything was perfect. A place where we're already looking forward to our next visit!

There were eight of us adults who spontaneously stopped by for dinner one Sunday. The service was very attentive and friendly. We loved the selection of dishes, with many hearty delicacies. All the dishes arrived at the same time, and from the goulash to the pike-perch to the sauerbraten, we all enjoyed our meal immensely. We'd love to go back, top!

Great restaurant in Meersburg with a beautiful terrace overlooking the lake. Excellent service and a fantastic selection of spaetzle. We had the cheese spaetzle and Allgäu garlic spaetzle with mushrooms, and the choice was worth it: incredibly delicious, large portions, take-home option for leftovers, and a good side salad!

We went here because of the good reviews. We were still sitting outside on the terrace and had such a good meal that I had to write a review right away. I had the winegrower's roast, and my husband had a dish of the day. Both were delicious and absolutely excellent value for money. The service was prompt, empathetic, and very warm. While we were still in Konstanz, we were looking for a suitable place to round off our short vacation when we came across the Meersburger Winzerstuben. Perfectly located with a view of Lake Constance yet relatively quiet, this restaurant offers the finest regional delicacies. The service is extremely friendly, prompt, and courteous. Every single dish was a delight, whether it was main courses, appetizers, or desserts – every detail is spot on. The drinks are also perfectly coordinated and of the highest quality. The service is not just friendly, but truly exceptional. The team is attentive, warm, and prompt, ensuring you feel completely at home. Even our 8-year-old son was treated like royalty. You immediately notice: hospitality is lived here! Add to that the beautiful location overlooking Lake Constance makes everything even more perfect. Amazing food, stunning views, a cozy atmosphere, and a perfect vacation feeling. No matter how hard you look, you won't find fault here. This restaurant impresses across the board: top service, top food, top drinks, top location. Simply an excellent restaurant that we can recommend without reservation. We'll definitely be back!

My meal was truly, truly good! Even though I chose something simpler, I have to say I haven't eaten this well in a long time. The service was very attentive and friendly; they were very quick and attentive. I sat inside, which is very quaint but beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and very clean. I would definitely recommend it and would gladly come back!

A wonderfully located restaurant overlooking the lake with a typically rustic ambiance. The terrace, set on a steep slope, has a cozy charm. The service is excellent. You never feel like you're having to wait, and the service is very courteous. Feel free to request something from the menu, if possible. The food was outstanding. The quality and freshness of the dishes can be tasted with every bite. The ingredients are regional and of high quality. The taste was excellent. A shout-out to the kitchen team at this point. The full five stars are well deserved...

I'm absolutely thrilled. The two of us had lunch here and were able to sit outside overlooking the lake. I had the fantastic duet of salmon trout and whitefish with broccoli and boiled potatoes for €24.90 (August 2025) with a delicately fruity Pinot Noir. A fantastic combination. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. So, all in all, full marks and an absolute recommendation.

Today, I spontaneously stopped by for lunch with my 14-year-old daughter. We received a very friendly welcome and were able to choose a table outside. After we ordered, we didn't have to wait long for the food. My daughter had schnitzel with spaetzle and salad, and I had Jägerschnitzel, also with spaetzle and salad. Both dishes were delicious, and my daughter even enjoyed the salad, even though she's always a bit picky about it. I thought the dressing was very good. I also wanted to highlight the particularly delicious cream sauce. In my opinion, it's the best I've ever had in a restaurant. The initial taste reminded me of mashed potatoes. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended; the service was very friendly, fast, and professional. It was our first time there, and all four different dishes were delicious. Special requests, such as different side dishes, were immediately accommodated, and we even advised on what was possible. We'll be back.

This restaurant is worth a detour. The beautiful outdoor area invites you to linger, offering a great view of Lake Constance. The service is excellent, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The creamed schnitzel and the Baden-style sauerbrauten with homemade spaetzle each get 10 out of 10 from me. If you like draft beer, I recommend the Farny (Edelweiss brewery from the Allgäu region).

It tasted good, and the price was more than just reasonable. You could even say it was cheap. However, the schnitzel was definitely frozen. That's unfortunately common in restaurants, but it doesn't meet my standards. Hence, 3 fair stars.

I came with a travel group. I'm allergic to nuts, and my guide told the main waiter. They literally gave me a grilled chicken fillet with boiled potatoes. I find it pathetic. I can't believe there's no main course on the menu that doesn't contain nuts. We didn't pay for this, to be honest. I understand that sauces and many other things can contain nuts, and I assume desserts aren't allowed. My travel companions ate pasta. The surprise came with dessert: chocolate ice cream, which can be much more likely to contain nuts than pasta. They ruined my day. Thank you so much to the restaurant.
