Service to improve. My husband and I were at lunch this Sunday and we ordered. I had forgotten to add the special sauce for the Spätzle and we called the waitress to have it added to our order. She stops and there was an annoyed look on her face, as if it bothered her that we had stopped her. This gesture of his shocked me a little. As for the food, I think it's edible, but I tasted something frozen. Honestly, at those high prices I would never have wanted to eat thawed and not tasty food. The few stars are for this. I honestly didn't appreciate it as a restaurant. I wouldn't go back.

Sat on the terrace in the sunshine ☀️ with a view of Lake Constance at the beginning of March and ate delicious homemade Maultaschen 😋 specialty

The food was good and also the temperature. Wonderful. The service was nice and courteous. And the ambience suits the area.

Highly recommended! Everyone very friendly. There were five of us plus a baby and two dogs. Got a high chair straight away. Changing diapers - absolutely no problem, changing table and changing mat available, as well as diapers. Food was very tasty. From the salad to the main courses - good portions for a reasonable price.

Great service, super delicious food

A visit that is definitely worth it. We wanted something to eat at short notice and were kindly booked for the following day as there was currently too little. Luckily we did. A day later we were there on time with the family. Were welcomed very friendly and brought to a table. Drinks and food were there in no time, which meant absolutely no compromise in taste or quality. The food was delicious no matter what the dish. Ordered 3 different meals with salad. If we are in the region we will definitely come back to eat. Keep it up.

Great quality, better value for money. The spaetzle are like grandma's: hand scraped with nut butter and breadcrumbs. The portion size is “large”, i.e. feel free to share the starter or dessert. Staff is super nice, there is a changing area. We'll be back.

Rustic atmosphere, really good food and excellent service. We were very excited! The portions are good and particularly tasty. The Geschnetzeltes were delicious as were the Maultaschen. The sausage salad was made with love and we had to have it packed up because we couldn't manage everything. Our recommendation here!

We were on the crossing from Konstanz in the evening and wanted to eat something. I asked by phone whether there was anything available so late and was told that we could still order hot food. Despite our late arrival, the service was very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious and very filling. We felt comfortable and can recommend it to others. Deserved 5 stars!

Tasty and well attended even in the off-season.

Wir sind spontan und ohne Reservierung ins Restaurant gegangen. Sofort wurden wir freundlich empfangen, und an einen Tisch begleitet. Der Service war sehr schnell, die Speisen waren lecker, wenn auch nicht aussergewöhnlich. Und die Rechnung war völlig ok. Um 18.30 Uhr füllte sich das Restaurant merklich, so dass wir nächstes Mal sicherlich vorher reservieren werden.

If you are in Meersburg, you should stop by here. The service is sensational. The food was very good. The map is not overloaded and you can always find something. I particularly liked the fish. Gladly again.

The food was a dream, we had different dishes. My colleagues were there for the first time today and everyone was thrilled. A big thank you to the staff.

The food was okay, but unfortunately not quite hot. I had ordered some sauce, which the waiter commented with “we can do it”. Unfortunately it didn't work and my food got completely cold while I was waiting. The casual handling of my complaint... oh dear, I'm sorry... I did it better too.

When it was raining heavily, I came across this restaurant while pushing a stroller with my baby and the waiters rushed over to help me carry the stroller. In the afternoon we enjoyed delicious apple strudel and cake, with a glass of white wine and a cup of coffee. It was very warm and cozy in the restaurant and there were children's chairs A great culinary experience. When I come to the restaurant in the evening, I am happy to try the Lake Constance fish dishes in the restaurant

We spontaneously ate here during our vacation. The food came super quickly and was incredibly tasty, fish, meat and also the spaetzle were great! The service was very courteous and friendly. Warmest recommendation! :)

Excellente cuisine au Top mais attention au service effectué par son personnel dernièrement arrivé. Depuis notre dernière venue dans ce restaurant, une bonne partie du personnel a quitté cet établissement (pour aller travailler par exemple à l'hotel zum Schiff) mais ne connaissons pas les circonstances exactes de leur départ. Le jeune personnel qui les remplace manque d'expérience et semble désorienté. Lors de notre dernière venue dans cet établissement (en Septembre 2024) que nous connaissons depuis de très nombreuses annees (bien avant son rachat par son propriétaire d'origine croate), le personnel n'avait pas trouvé trace de notre réservation pourtant confirmée et effectuée par mail. Nous avons dû reconfirmer nos reservations à venir. Nous avions l'impression de parler à des gens qui se demandaient ce qu'on leur racontait. De plus, le barman dernièrement arrivé (en remplacement d'une jeune femme qui était salariée de cet etablissement depuis de nombreuses années) semble émettre des avis en sur les clients qu'il ne connaît même pas. Cet établissement est donc à mettre sous surveillance quant à la formation de ses dernières recrues. À suivre.

Durch die vielen positiven Bewertungen und die Lage sind wir auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen. Eine Reservation kann nur für drinnen gemacht werden. Bei der Terrasse gilt first cone, first serv..... Wir hatten trotz den vielen Leuten Glück und bekamen einen wunderbaren Platz. Die Speisen sind währschaftlich und lecker. Der Service freundlich und hilfsbereit, auch wenn einen Weinbestellung nicht korrekt war. Doch genau der Service und die Leute machen dieses Restaurant zu einem sehr empfehlenswerten Tipp

I give 6 out of 5 stars! Really very tasty traditional food with a nice atmosphere. We had to wait a moment for a table and were kindly invited in. There are children's meals on the menu and the staff is really very friendly and accommodating. Even a small incident (wasp sting) was helped quickly. We would love to come back on our next vacation 🤩

We got a table on the terrace without obligation and without an appointment. It's a bit crowded with several people, but there are worse things. We were looked after very nicely, everyone was extremely friendly and kept asking if everything was okay without seeming intrusive. There were many different food offerings, some of which we have never seen before. So you could try something new and it was delicious! Restaurant and sanitary area very clean and nicely decorated. The view of Lake Constance - unbeatable. Thank you for the wonderful end to our vacation! :)

Very nice location, with very friendly and fast service. The food was very nicely prepared, the portion was generous, so the price-performance ratio was very good. The taste was good, the only thing that bothered us was that the sauce was thick like pudding and tasted extremely like ready-made sauce.

The food is out of expectation, very good. The view of course is not the best as just besides the lake, but it’s great for us, since we have a dog, who doesn’t like too much noise.

We have been coming regularly to Meersburg for a short vacation for about 10 years. We came across this restaurant by chance and have been regulars ever since. The taste of the cuisine never diminished, it only got better. The atmosphere is very nice and the employees are very polite and competent. Catering to every dining request. We can recommend 100% 👍

Unfortunately we only ate there on the penultimate day of our vacation. We were more than satisfied. All the waitresses were very nice. The food was very tasty and the price was right. We ate there again the next evening. We are happy to recommend this restaurant. We will be back.
