McDonald's Restaurant in Zweibrücken

I tried McDonald's again after many years. It was a disaster: flat Coke/Fanta, cold, dry burgers.

This place is awful! I just got breakfast and paid a lot of money, and more than half of it was missing. The employee was very rude. It's a real shame; the service used to be better.

It was clean, good conditions, fast service.

At 7:15 a.m., you're still standing in front of a closed door, even though it's supposed to open at 7:00 a.m. The restaurant is as cold as a refrigerator, and there's no heating. Despite being quiet in the morning, a small menu takes 25 minutes. Unfriendly service.

The wait for food is incredibly long. The staff is often rude. In the restaurant, you wait about 20 minutes for your food.

The staff, even the shift managers, are incredibly unfriendly. The days when employees could put a smile on guests' faces are long gone. It's a shame. Everyone looks incredibly dissatisfied and in a bad mood.

It was 10:20 a.m. and I wanted to buy apple puddings. It's not possible because apple puddings aren't available until 10:30 a.m. Too bad.

The entire restaurant is simply filthy. Tables aren't cleaned, the floor is dirty, and everything is simply abysmal.

We were there today with our grandchildren. We stood at the checkout for 20 minutes (we were the only ones) none of the three employees served us all three were totally overwhelmed.....after another 10 minutes without service we decided to go to Burger King sorry but we will avoid this fast food restaurant in the future

It's disgusting... Almost every time, 2-3 items are missing. If you're paying that much money, you should at least get everything you paid for.

Modern McDonald's restaurant. Clean restrooms. Unfortunately, the tables in the dining room weren't clean and some were still sticky. Our server tipped the drinks off the tray and narrowly missed me. My shoes and trouser legs were wet from the splashing Coke. Nothing but a mumbled apology and new drinks. That could have at least been worth a coffee or a small ice cream as compensation. It's not a big deal, and it can happen - but still... It still has potential 😉

No, it took too long, and the employees ignored the complaints!! Across the street, at Burger King, it works better.

A real dump. An employee who is as unfriendly as a compost bin and doesn't speak a word of German. He also claims there are no more McFlurrys, but two minutes later, a group comes out of the dumpling shop with a McFlurry. Burger King is better❗️

Rarely seen such a dirty branch

No. I ate the most expensive Big Mac meal in Germany there. Even the McDonald's in France, which are usually more expensive, were cheaper!

Every time I've visited this McDonald's, the food has been fresh and well prepared. The ambiance leaves something to be desired. Sitting inside isn't particularly pleasant; they could do something better. I prefer the drive-thru and have never had any problems.

I ordered a Big Mac and a cheeseburger without a pickle. After a while, the food arrived, with the obligatory "no pickle" label. What was on both burgers? Pickle, and not too little. That's not acceptable; everyone should at least be able to read and follow the order.

This is definitely not fast food anymore. We waited almost 20 minutes for our order.

We've been there several times. I don't know why, actually. Every time there's a problem with the order: either a fries, a drink, or an ingredient in the burger is missing. Plus, the trash is never removed, and we have fun playing house of cards to put down our tray. Avoid.

Forgotten food at the drive-thru several times, and even when I ordered inside, my drink was missing (of course I asked for it and got it), but still... I will advise everyone I know not to eat there again; it's cheating. Apple turnovers are always missing...the nuggets aren't 20, but only 17. I don't understand how they can cheat their customers like that. Sorry, Burger King can do it too, and that's why Never again McDonald's in Zweibrücken

McDonald's standard, today some of the staff were very inattentive: no table number holders at the ordering terminal, no napkins on the tray.

There's no point talking about the food; it's just like everything in Mekkes: you either like it or you don't. But what's borderline disgusting here are the tables and other items outside. Doesn't any of the management ever take a look at them? Or is this really just about the money? Definitely my last visit here; you might as well eat in the train station bathroom. Every single table is filthy and sticky.

There are always long waits at the McDrive! Today we waited a full 15 minutes and got cold food... It works at other locations, too...! Not the first time we've been here, but definitely the last!

I only had cash and there was no cashier present. Waited for 10 minutes to pay and still no service finally left the ticket and left.

The level of incompetence is unmatched. Every damn time, something is missing from the order. The employees also behave unprofessionally, yelling at each other, having private conversations, etc. There will be no more visits to this branch.

Food was very nice and warm. It arrived VERY quick. (to be fair we went at 3pm)

Special request was accepted and fulfilled. Update on June 22, 2025 It's just sh....... these days. Absolutely unfriendly staff at the counter... Considering that the food, service, and overall rating once had 4 stars... There's nothing left to do but shake our heads. From our point of view, that's it for McDonald's Zweibrücken 👋🏼

Unfortunately there was a lot going on

Today, I picked up something from the drive-thru for the first time in a long time. Based on past experiences, I checked to make sure the food was completely present (for once, everything was there), only to discover at home that the kids' Happy Meal was missing two drinks and desserts (sachets of drink and ice pops, pre-packaged and simply placed in the box). Anyone with children aged 2-4 can probably understand the reaction this caused to tired children in the evening. To be clear: It was quiet, we got straight to the drive-through (food was pre-ordered in the app), and there was only one person at the cash register inside, and very few seats were occupied. We generally rarely pick up food there, but I recommend that everyone check everything down to the smallest detail when picking up.

Apparently, my order was forgotten. After 20 minutes, I was asked for my receipt, and I waited a total of over 30 minutes for my food. In the meantime, I was told that the shake I had already paid for wasn't available. They offered me a Coke, but they didn't offer ice cream. I then got my money back. Two minutes later, two customers walked by with McFlurrys, and I heard a manager say they could make shakes. But when I asked again, I was told no. I could drive up to the outlet. Absolutely outrageous.

Very few people on a Tuesday afternoon. A relatively small mcdo, with many beginners. The food was ready very quickly. You have to clear your own table, but then the staff should make sure that the clearing trolleys are empty, especially when it is not busy. The coke zero was gone, which I find quite strange, on the other hand this was one of the first mcdos where they actually had mcflurys

I visited the McDonald's in Zweibrücken and have to say: everything went exactly as you would expect. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, the restrooms were in good condition, and the dining area was pleasantly quiet, even though it was busy. Ordering on the screen was easy and hassle-free. The food came quickly – the fries were fresh and well-salted, the burger was neatly assembled, and the sauce didn't run down the sides (as unfortunately often happens). The staff were friendly, helpful, and well-organized. You can tell the team knows what they're doing. An ideal place for a relaxing break on the go – fast, clean, and stress-free. If I'm in the area again, I'll be happy to come back.

This is outrageous! THEY ADDED MORE ICE THAN DRINK!

It is very great for fast food when time is limited. It is the perfect choice as it provides many different meals to suit all tastes. I personally prefer eating their Chicken box, which is wings of fried chicken, nuggets, and curry sauce. I advise you to try it, you can see it in the attached pictures.

It's rare to see something so bad, I thought all the negative reviews were exaggerated, but I was wrong. Long waiting time, eating cold and forgetting everything. Is it so difficult to read what has been ordered from the screen and put it on a tray.

Lots of space. The food is still warm when it comes to the table. The staff is friendly. My daughter, who had just learned to walk, wasn't a disruptive factor.

Lacking staff, the cashier manager managed the situation extremely well by creating an atmosphere for the distribution of meals served at the table.

I treated myself to the like it loud menu and simply got raw "potatoes" and the burger was also cold and some of it wasn't even fried yet, be smart, choose blue, they have never disappointed!

The restaurant is close to the motorway and is easy to reach. Basically everything as usual. Unfortunately, the monitor with the pickup numbers somehow never works. Outside area has a nice play tower for the children.

Well, neat is different, as the slice of cheese is almost no longer on the roll. Not beautifully presented. But well, it looks like it tasted good, the fries were cold and I didn't even get a straw to go with the cup, I won't be coming back.

Incredibly dirty, something is always missing, be it a burger or sauce, and there are often no gifts for the Happy Meal. Waiting times are impossible even though it feels like no one is there. Unfortunately by far the worst MCDONALD'S I've ever been to. There are a lot of things that urgently need to be improved!

The store appears clean and tidy, the furnishings are modern. But what sucks is, on the one hand, the staff and, on the other hand, the quality and the way in which the ordered food is served. Eternal waiting including cheeky comments when you ask where your fast food is after 13 minutes. The tablet was then carelessly slammed onto the table... The burgers looked as if the box had been shaken after being packed.

We like coming here. When you pick it up you just have to check that everything is there.

If I get a surprise bag of sauces there again instead of my selected sauces, I'll really have to control myself before I piss someone off. Haven't experienced a McD that is so incompetent in this regard - out of about 30 visits (off peak times) maybe 1 order is correct. Somewhere the understanding ends when you have to go in again every time. Either give your workers better training or a kick in the ass

Coffee and tea inedible, no idea if the machines aren't maintained or if it's the water, but it's really bad. Very dirty in the shop on Saturday morning, toilets not clean. I don't actually know McD

4.10 euros is a hefty price for a coffee; you'd rather go to the coffee shop because it's cheaper

The usual McDonald's restaurant. Staff stressed, store visually recently renovated. Cleanliness of the restaurant was ok. Ordered MC Chicken menu to take away after quite a long wait. Fries almost cold with hardly any salt and burgers only luke warm and felt like they had been on display for a little too long.

I would now pack a microwave in winter (there are sockets) to warm up food, it's cold, thermal underwear or ski clothing would also be nice, there's no heating there either, all in all it started weakly and tapered off a lot towards the end

Chaos, totally overwhelmed, understaffed

I've been to a lot of McDonald's but I have to say, I've never seen such friendly staff anywhere. It wasn't the fake friendliness that you show in sales, it came from the heart. The food was great, the fries were great still really hot. Thank you dear team in Zweibrücken at the outlet.

Been to many McDonald's, not just in Germany. But I've never had such nice service as here. I can only speak for one.

Had bad meat in the burger, was absolutely disgusting. The smell was really bad and let's not even get started on the taste. They first wanted to give us a new burger, but then we lost our hunger. Ultimately the money was refunded to us.

Very dirty place too dirty for my taste. Waste piles up everywhere, it's not good. The tables are greasy and dirty. People with the same cloth clean the chairs and mirrors in the toilets and I have seen them clean immediately after the tables where people eat. To vomit

I'm going to McDonald's again. Almost every time I am disappointed. The cheap stuff on offer there is now far too expensive. In addition, the burgers or buns always fall apart when eaten. The fries are mushy, the cola is mixed with dishwater and you either don't get a straw at all or you get these stupid cardboard things. At the drive-in counter you have to get used to the fact that 7/10 orders are simply wrong. The classics are missing sauces, wrong burgers, forgotten products. So basically anything that can be done wrong can be done wrong. Please close your branch.

Unfortunately you have to give one star... We were here on Saturday evening and only wanted 2 Mc Flurry, after we ordered at the terminal everything was canceled, the guests were told that you couldn't give out food if the terminal wasn't working, but it was food on trays. After about 15 minutes, the poor people this food was for could be found and the same food was packed up and handed out in slow motion...even though it had already been there for 15 minutes!! When the man on duty saw our receipt after another 5 minutes, he first rolled his eyes in annoyance and then made us our two half-full MC Flurries, which weren't even stirred. When we commented that it was only half full, we were simply wished for a nice evening. Staff prefer to focus on themselves rather than checking on customers. I felt sorry for every single person who went in there after us! I took a lot of time to write this review, just like the employees who were on duty that evening...

You don't have to go there at the moment. Several terminals are defective. Card payment at the counter doesn't work, the offer display is demolished, the pick-up number display hasn't worked for a long time, and carbonated soft drinks cannot be served. Unfortunately, you will only be told this after you have complained about your non-carbonated drink. The cleanliness is inadequate.

We went to MCS at 2 a.m. It was actually open until 3 a.m. but we were sent away. very unfriendly and you could also write on the internet that MCS closes early for some reason instead of making people unnecessarily unhappy. We are very unnecessary for half an hour!!!

It was clean, the tables were wiped down and the friendliest employee I've ever seen at the Mc's was at the checkout. Unfortunately my fishnet fries were cold, otherwise everything was great.

The food itself couldn't be faulted. However, there would have to be negative stars for the cleanliness of the store. The whole place resembles a pigsty. The toilets haven't been cleaned for at least a day, no toilet paper, cigarette butts next to the sink (???), everything full of dirt. The carts for the trays were completely overcrowded. Not a single table was wiped, the floor was sticky like honey. The burger packaging looked as if the employee had changed the oil in his vehicle before preparing the burger. Disgusting!

Drive in counter impossible, you sometimes wait more than half an hour. Incompetent workers who don't understand what you want, ask 3 times and end up putting in the wrong thing.

McDonald's. Ordered via terminal, short waiting time, food was brought to the table. The service was very friendly and overall the place was clean. In my opinion recommended.
