Waited over 30 minutes for the food, and it was incomplete. The slowest branch I've ever been to.

I waited 22 minutes for a coffee which I still didn't get, so I just left. When I asked for an apology, the staff gave me blank stares and ignored me – unbelievable!

Terrible! Several items were missing from the order. When I pointed this out, the "friendly" employee reacted rudely and unfriendly. Burger was cold, fries were soggy.

The store is not clean, the pickup screens are broken, burgers are regularly forgotten when ordering, products that are not available can be ordered via the terminal, and refunds cannot be issued.

McDonald's, you can't expect much there. But a little bit, yes. I can't understand why they advertise opening hours until 1 a.m., but then there's nothing left shortly after midnight. Not even a coffee, and they only have one person working there. That's the worst. You're just left standing there, looking stupid. They don't even tell you that the kitchen is already closed. It won't happen to me again that I leave my food at home.

Three cars in the McDrive, and you wait almost 15 minutes (!!!) for your food. It's best to drive into the McDrive when it's completely empty; you might get through faster then. Incompetent loading.

Long wait times at breakfast. Overwhelmed staff. Unfriendly when asked questions. In my opinion, this is the worst McDonald's in the area.

Even one star is too much! I had to wait 20 minutes for my order today; the staff and management are completely overwhelmed. I won't be visiting this branch again. Our food was cold, and the drink took on the taste of the cup. I have to say, quite clearly, McDonald's in Mülheim an der Ruhr should have planned its staff better. It only took them three minutes to serve the same order in Mülheim an der Ruhr, and the food was piping hot. And it was just as busy.

After I got food poisoning there two years ago, my colleague persuaded me to go back, and what can I say? Never again! The burgers, although freshly brought to the table, were lukewarm, and those lattice potatoes seemed older and reheated. The nuggets were also lukewarm. But the worst was the McFlurry. Either the machine was broken again, or they changed the ice cream recipe. The ice cream had crystallized, as if it had been frozen, melted, and refrozen. So, either they're skimping on quality or this place isn't paying attention to its products again. Also, the seats were very dirty, as was the floor. Then our table and the benches were wiped clean and left soaking wet.

Truly terrible. This shouldn't be happening in any restaurant, no matter the time. There were hardly any customers present. Visiting time was 11:15 AM on September 11, 2025.

Staff ignore customers. Dishes are displayed but aren't ready. One person serves in slow motion. People pile up. The food is left sitting for ages and is incomplete or cold. When criticized, the shift manager simply runs away, as do the front-of-house staff, and the food isn't even prepared for five minutes. Worst restaurant of my life.

Three out of four terminals weren't working. Customers at the checkout were ignored. The checkout remained unmanned for 15 minutes, despite customers waiting. Then one person was served, and the cashier left again.

We've been standing at the drive-thru for 20 minutes, waiting for two ice creams. There was a car in front of us. Had to call the store from the drive-thru to even move forward. A complete disaster.

My parents and I came here wanting to have a nice afternoon, and we were given three Cokes without soda and a chicken burger without salad or sauce. My parents asked if the staff could make a new burger when the boss came over and asked if it didn't taste good (he had actually already seen the burger). Afterwards, the boss was very unfriendly and gave us the same burger but with salad and sauce. However, we still think their behavior was very bad.

The average delivery time is set at 30 minutes. And every 10 minutes, 10 minutes are added. In the end, it ends up being 80 minutes or so. Thank you, the cold food arrived much later than expected.

Today is August 29, 2025, and the employees have nothing better to do than punch each other in the face. I was there with my children. Nothing more needs to be said. Simply antisocial.

Absolutely terrible store. The employees are hardly service-oriented and don't care much for communication. I stood at the McCafé counter for several minutes without being served. Even when a server was at the cash register, she didn't even look at me and walked away. The cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired. I think if the Wallraff team investigates this, they'll definitely find something.

My fries were full to the brim. Even more so. That was a pleasant surprise, thank you. Otherwise, it's what a McDonald's should look and be like.

And that was at a quiet time—the second time, during breakfast, there were only three orders on the board. I had a bad experience at this McDonald's. I and several other customers had to wait over 30 minutes for our orders. It got to the point where we didn't even want them anymore. The so-called apple turnover is also absolutely disgusting.

We were shocked as soon as we walked in: it was absolutely chaotic, smelled unpleasant, and the floors and tables were dirty. My friend ordered a McFlurry. When our number appeared on the screen and then disappeared, we thought it was ready and quickly asked. The caller, who had a rather antisocial demeanor, heard our request and looked at us and shouted out a different number. We were ignored and left standing. Everyone ignored us. Eventually, our order was called. We ordered the new McFlurry with bubble tea scoops on top. But none of these scoops were to be found on our ice cream. It took three employees to understand our problem, as none of them spoke German. Only when the shift manager came did they take appropriate action, even if she was visibly annoyed. Overall, a terrible impression and a McDonald's I will never go to again.

Unfortunately, our visit (July 22, 2025) to this McDonald's was anything but satisfactory. The wait time was extremely long, even though it wasn't overly busy. Our order was also incomplete, and even though we had chosen the "take-out" option, the food was served for dine-in. When we pointed this out, the employee reacted extremely annoyed without exchanging a word with us – instead, they rolled their eyes and clicked their tongues in annoyance. That's definitely not what friendliness looks like. Another major problem: The fries were handled without gloves, and no napkin or other protective covering was used to avoid direct contact – an absolute no-no in the restaurant industry. Other guests before us seemed to have had similar problems. The entire restaurant was also very dirty: sticky floors, food residue on many tables and under seats – a very unhygienic impression overall. We will avoid this location in the future. There is an urgent need for improvement here – both in terms of staff and hygiene.

Everything was clean and tidy except for the play equipment and high chairs. The high chair had to be cleaned by the children themselves. You really can't put a child in it or let them play. It's very dirty.

Like any McDonald's. They're all visually appealing. Only, the guests usually leave their tables dirty. And cleaning usually takes a while. The lack of staff and the customers contribute to this result.

We usually eat in Düpmten, and today was an exception. Never again. Unfriendly, takes forever (despite a mediocre order), and then the food is only lukewarm. Napkins and spoons for the cappuccino...none. Much room for improvement.

After a long time, I wanted to eat at McDonald's again – together with two friends. Unfortunately, our visit on July 1, 2025, at around 4:30 p.m., turned into an extremely unpleasant experience that left me speechless. I ordered the new chicken burger, which was offered for around €6.69 instead of €10. Price-wise, it doesn't matter much – what I observed during preparation is much more serious. Even while ordering, I noticed that the kitchen area was operating under extremely questionable hygienic conditions: No staff were wearing gloves, and several times, the burgers were being worked on with their bare hands. I could clearly see an employee wiping his hands on his apron and then, without gloves and without hand sanitizer, "messaging" my burger with his bare hands. I also observed that door handles were being touched – again without any visible hand washing afterward. I then politely informed the employee at the counter that I didn't want the burger because I'd seen the unhygienic handling. Apparently not understanding, he called a colleague over. This employee, however, treated me with a disparaging attitude from the start: She rolled her eyes, spoke to me in an arrogant tone, and became increasingly loud. Her statement was that gloves weren't worn as a matter of principle and that people wash their hands regularly anyway. However, there was no evidence of any insight into my observations. On the contrary: the more calmly I tried to describe the situation, the louder she became. The conversation seemed less like a customer dialogue and more like an argument, during which I felt like I was being yelled at. I finally took my burger and sat down with my friends—visibly annoyed. They asked me if I'd just been yelled at or if it was just a normal conversation. I wanted to calm the situation down and said it was "just" a conversation. Nevertheless, the employee's behavior bothered me, and I went back to the counter to address her objectively. I asked why she had behaved so inappropriately and whether it would have been possible to speak to me normally. Her body language seemed tense and threatening, almost as if she wanted to confront me. Again, she constantly rolled her eyes and lacked any problem-solving skills. When I asked her where she had the nerve to address an adult customer so loudly and disrespectfully, she denied everything. I find this behavior absolutely unacceptable – both from a hygiene and interpersonal perspective. The employee showed no insight, was disrespectful, loud, and simply unsuitable for customer service. Her aggressive manner was not only unpleasant for me, but also for other guests who witnessed the situation.

The following situation occurred on June 12th: Instead of two drinks, there was a shake and a drink, and one ice cream had an extra topping on it that we didn't want. We could live with that. But when I went in, after less than a minute outside, I showed the employee the receipt and told him that there was only one 6-pack of nuggets instead of four, meaning three were missing. He was visibly and audibly annoyed and then gave me two more packs. When I told him that one was still missing (pointing to the receipt), he said, "First they said three, then four." Yes, I said it should have been four, SEE RECEIPT, meaning THREE were missing. Such disrespectful, antisocial behavior. They're yelling at us because they're not doing their job properly! We left €40 there, and they accuse us of lying! The staffing in the afternoon/evening is worse than in the morning with all the young men anyway. We won't be going to this branch again. By the way, you could also perhaps clean more than once a day.

This branch is so abysmally bad, dirty tables even when the place is empty, everything is sticky and the food, especially the fries, taste and look as if they were only dipped in grease for 10 seconds.

This is truly the worst McDonald's I know. So often, the things you ordered are missing. Whether it's the drive-thru, the restaurant itself, or McDelivery. It's really chaotic and dirty inside. The food is often cold or not fresh. The fries taste like old oil. What a shame.

This is the worst McDonald's I've ever eaten at with my family. I recently ordered a McWrap. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, not only because it was expensive, but also because it was half empty. One manager is incapable of organizing the work of other employees. He's running around, mixing up orders, and it's chaos.

Not recommended, I was just there and ordered 4 simple hamburgers. Then I saw that they had made 4 chessburgers in the kitchen. The employee (a guy with a piercing in his nose) pushed Dan back to the kitchen, where the employee unpacked the hamburger, picked up the cheese with her hands and threw it in the trash, then closed the hamburger again and wanted to give it to the four after she had picked up the cheese with her hands and packed it up again. I asked them if they were trying to make fun of me, the guy simply said it's normal when they do something wrong and got cheeky. Unfortunately, he only wanted to go out with him in the store, but then he didn't want to, just waved at me in the store. I wouldn't recommend anyone eating there and I hope to meet the guy outside sometime.

We ordered the voucher menu with two Big Macs, a cheeseburger, and two apple turnovers. A Coke Zero to drink, and an extra mayo to go with the fries. After just a few minutes, our order number appeared on the screen, but it had nothing to do with the number on our receipt. Supposedly, that was the table order number that appeared on the monitor. Well, at least that hasn't been the case in recent years. Our order preparation tray already contained two Big Macs. Five minutes later, the Coke arrived, followed by an apple turnover, and two minutes later, the fries and side dishes. Then, four minutes later, the last apple turnover finally arrived, and our number was called. (The one on the receipt, of course.) As the tray was pushed toward me, I noticed that the cheeseburger was still missing, which was promptly delivered to the counter within a minute. When we finally got a seat, my companion noticed that, contrary to her order, she received two ketchup portions instead of ketchup and mayo. She complained, and after exchanging them, we were finally able to bite into our lukewarm burgers after almost a quarter of an hour.

NO. The worst McDonald's I know. Incompetent in many areas. They don't know what customer service is. Complete orders—what's that? Waiting time = take a vacation!

For about 6 months, I've only had problems with my order. Things are always missing, or extras like extra bacon are forgotten. With today's order, I unfortunately only noticed on the way back that my burger was missing. So I went back and reported it, and I got my burger, which had been sitting there for 15 minutes and was soggy. During all the back and forth, my ice cream melted, so I complained. I received a new McFlurry the size of a MC sundae. Furthermore, every single sauce was missing from my €70 order!! Always check your order; something will definitely be missing.

Unfortunately, it wasn't very clean. Many tables were completely dirty. The food was also pretty subpar. The Fanta was more like mineral water, the fries were soaked with grease, and the burger looked like it had been vigorously shaken before serving.

The food was very tasty, but we got 7 nuggets instead of 9. It also took a very long time. I'd give the whole thing 1-2 stars.

It used to be my favorite branch, but since Wellmann left, it's been a mess. The quality has declined, the employees are abusive to me, I've had to wait over 20 minutes every time I go, and the employees' hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. I'm disappointed; I used to love coming here.

Service slow despite few guests, dirty

The staff were very awkward. I understand that if there is a lot to do, it might take a little longer. But I've never seen anything so chaotic. They all ran around like frightened chickens! First I got cold burgers and then, after I got new ones, I unfortunately only realized when I got home that they were the wrong burgers. I have to say, this branch is really slowing down.

5 stars are almost not enough! I have rarely enjoyed fast food so much: the food was delicious – fresh, hot, just to the point. The service? Lightning fast and super friendly, like they knew how hungry I was. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the interior: modern, cozy, almost stylish - you'll want to stay a little longer. And then the highlight: an audio book is playing in the toilet! I came for the food, stayed for the story. A McDonald's with personality – and attention to detail. I'll be back!

This is the dirtiest branch I've ever seen. The birthday room was very small, there were about 8 seats, very stuffy and there was no air in it, the table was dirty and it was only cleaned when asked (with a rag that had already lost its color because of the dirt) The burgers were made completely carelessly and everything was simply slapped on top of each other. You cannot enter the women's toilet unless you want to catch a gastrointestinal infection. Shitty from wall to floor... That's why I don't want to know what this little climbing and sliding frame looks like from the inside...

I have been a customer of the McDonald's branch on Concordiastrasse for over ten years, but recently the quality has declined significantly. My order was incomplete and the service at McDrive was unfriendly. What was particularly disappointing was that I had to pay for additional sauces and ended up receiving the wrong order. I was just in the store with my family. I travel around a lot for work and know about the advantages of McD. But today's visit was very daunting for me in terms of cleanliness and order. In addition to a floor full of garbage and leftover food under almost every table, groups of young people standing around the seating were very disruptive while eating. The e-scooters parked in the hallways were also very disruptive. Not to mention blocked escape routes. I wonder why the operator allows these conditions like this. Garbage everywhere you see, groups of people loitering around without eating anything - just annoying.

According to the Internet, this McDonald's is open on Sundays from 8 a.m. The same is also stated at the restaurant. After standing in the drive-in for a total of 15 minutes without doing anything at 8:30, we drove back. Absolute impudence!

I was there today, the food is always fresh and not thrown in three times, so it's great 🙏🏽 the older employees are also super nice and understanding and also love children I was there with my two children and ordered food to eat there with table service. The order came and a Coke Zero 0.4 was missing from my order. I then went to the front and had to leave the children at the table for a moment and politely noted that a Coke Zero 0.4 was missing. I'm not sure if I would recommend it, my girlfriend had a total sore throat after getting her cheeseburger. The staff are friendly, there are leftovers at some tables or on the floor.

Good MC Donalds affiliated with the Bero Center in Oberhausen. Food typical McDonald's quality in a positive sense, quick preparation and good service. Toilet facility quite clean, tables wiped clean. Sufficient parking spaces, all in all absolutely recommended!

Very bad service, if you have allergies you can have the make-up removed to get your special request, that's not something you pay attention to.

It's not the best food, but unfortunately it tastes really good. 😂 One point deducted for that, you shouldn't overdo it with fast food. The other point is deducted because something is always missing, this time it was McDrive and there were no napkins. There doesn't have to be ice in the winter either, and I don't really like the new ticket system when you go in. Vouchers and pre-ordering via the app is a great invention. I had something to eat there yesterday (Wednesday January 1st, 2025) and realized that it is no longer what it used to be. The whole store was dirty and the employees were unmotivated. It stuck everywhere. Instead of wiping (on tables, floors and chairs) signs are put up as a warning about delusions. It would be appropriate for the public order office or health department to take a look at this. Just disgusting. If you want to stay healthy, don't go there.
