What a dump! Something's always missing from my order, and the whole place is always filthy. You don't even get a receipt at the drive-thru.

When you order takeout, there's always something missing from the burger.

The prices are completely exorbitant. There's no justification for this. They're just lining their pockets. A regular meal cost €8.99 in 2024. Now it's €11.99. The sheer audacity!

This time, McDonald's Coca-Cola didn't taste like it had been diluted with water.

Fast service, hot food, and a well-maintained outdoor area. The good lighting outside and in the entrance area was particularly pleasant and created a friendly atmosphere. A pleasant surprise!

We stopped here for a quick bite on our way home. The staff was very friendly and quick. Our order was complete and everything was hot. The restaurant made a tidy impression, and the return carts were also emptied. One minor quibble: the restrooms could be cleaner. There are also electric car charging stations in the parking lot in front.

Hello, unfortunately, it was dirtier than expected. The staff weren't that friendly, except for one nice young lady. The atmosphere was quite gloomy. I wouldn't recommend it. It's McDonald's, but cleanliness is the least of it.

I ate at McDonald's and unfortunately noticed that a kitchen employee was repeatedly and continuously scratching her head and arms while working. This seems unhygienic and doesn't fit with the standards one should expect in a restaurant. I hope more attention is paid to cleanliness and hygiene here so that guests feel more comfortable.

I am biased from eating McDonald’s since I was a young boy, so even though I know it is not healthy for me I don’t care, I absolutely love the food here! I cannot compare this to any other fast food…

It's shocking how dirty the place is. All the tables were dirty and sticky. The burgers weren't what they used to be either. The cheeseburger was just slapped on and wasn't even lukewarm. The mac and cheese was also unpalatable; everything was cold.

If you don't know Mecces you've missed something. The supermarket is always friendly, even at night.

The best McDonald's I know. Everything is always freshly prepared.

It's 10 in the morning and the floor throughout the store is sticky, the toilet is dirty, and the door to the women's restroom won't close. It wasn't full either, so couldn't they just wipe it down? I haven't eaten anything here. If the rest of the hygiene is this good, who knows how clean the kitchen is?

A state of hygiene emergency. The sink in the men's restroom is broken. There's dirty water everywhere. The drainpipe was in the sink. The floor of the women's restroom is covered in toilet paper, and the seat has urine on it. There was also trash all over the restaurant floor. Unfortunately, the food wasn't right either: Sprite instead of Fanta, fries barely cooked, and the Samurai Burger was pink. Enjoy your meal.

I usually pick up my food at the drive-thru. The big advantage is that I can easily get through the drive-thru, even with a small RV (6.00 meters long, just under 3.00 meters high). Height restrictions make it impossible for most places.

No table numbers available. The pickup number isn't displayed, so even if you want to eat in, you have to wait at the counter until your food can be brought to your table.

Clean and modern McDonald's with friendly staff and mostly quick service. The food is as expected – freshly prepared and usually well tempered. Digital ordering via terminal in particular works smoothly. Sometimes it takes a little longer when there's a lot of traffic, but overall it's a reliable place for a quick meal.

Just a quick breakfast. Nothing to complain about, except one or two of the pancakes were a bit hard/dry.

Not very inviting, especially in the restrooms where the door has been broken for years. We were here two years ago while passing through from Hamburg. But we'll stop here because we don't need to use it.

My experience at this McDonald's was absolutely horrible! The store is extremely dirty and lacks any kind of hygiene standards. I saw with my own eyes a man – presumably the shift manager (white shirt, short hair) – drop a piece of hamburger on the floor and then simply put it back on his plate as if nothing had happened! When I confronted him about it, he reacted extremely rudely and disrespectfully. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've had a bad experience with the staff at this location – but what I saw today was the absolute worst. Dirty food + disrespectful staff = disastrous experience! I will never set foot in this place again and cannot recommend it to anyone who values cleanliness and respect.

The drive-thru counter needs improvement. There's always something missing from the bags or the wrong products, and when I ask about the price at the checkout, I often don't understand a word, even after repeated inquiries. Also, the text on the display board with your order is way too low, right in the area of the outside mirror!

Not much different from other chain restaurants, but in the summer without the air conditioning running, it's a bit risky. The lack of cleanliness was the reason for the remaining star deduction.

On July 23, 2025, I ordered three meals and only received two! The fries were cold and soggy. They had to go back in the air fryer. On top of that, one of the burgers (Royal TS) had Mc Rib sauce on it. Absolutely unacceptable! That was confirmation why I haven't eaten at Mc's in three years!

We were there late at night to get ice cream. Ice cream is always good!

First of all, I would like to say that the employees are not to blame; they always give their best. Things have noticeably improved in recent years. This letter goes directly to the manager!!! And I hope his superiors read this. One star – absolutely irresponsible in this heat! I sometimes come home late from work, and my little son is really looking forward to the playground at McDonald's (upstairs). Unfortunately, it's the same story every time: All the windows are closed, supposedly there's no key. The employees – including the manager – always just say "it doesn't work" or "no key." Even though the sun is shining on them during the day, it's 37 to 40 degrees outside, and it's unbearably hot up there. And even though air conditioning is installed, it's not turned on. When asked, the only response is that "it's not that warm" or "we want to save electricity." But this is a room for CHILDREN – not a storage room! How can anyone be responsible for children playing in a stuffy, hot room with no ventilation or air conditioning? Such behavior is not only disappointing, but dangerous. I sincerely hope this review is passed on to the top—because something urgently needs to change here.

Too long waiting time and bad service

They havev only 4 display to order and only 3 work. Everything is chaos. They have the serving plates scattered everywhere. The ordering screens work very slowly. The processing screens don't work at all, and especially the air conditioning doesn't work, I'm fainting from the heat!!!

Today I got a Big Mac at the drive-through. Such cheap junk. The patties seem to have gotten even thinner, and you can barely taste them between the flimsy bun with cheap lettuce and sour sauce. The thing isn't worth a single euro. But the employees were friendly.

Fast service, top cleanliness and super friendly staff

First of all, I really like going to McDonald's for my second breakfast in the morning. But today the following happened to me. Butter croissant - okay. Latte macchiato - okay. What was forgotten, however, was the brown sugar and a corresponding latte spoon. It can all happen. But if the spoon hasn't been cleaned properly (stains, etc.) and you then ask for a new one, the staff shouldn't look at you like that, say "don't make such a fuss" and then put the spoon back with the others. Hygiene seems to have stopped here. What a shame. Perhaps the staff should be retrained on how to react in such a situation.

McDonald's is a fast-food chain, but the concept seems to have been lost on this place. It took a full 20 minutes from the time the order was placed to the time it arrived. Family members were given priority. Even when employees had nothing to do, the ordered food wasn't put on the tray; instead, everything piled up in the counter. Employees ignored the people waiting for their food, preferring to wander around the area instead of attending to the customers. It's a real shame, but my girlfriend and I won't be coming here again.

Food was ready quickly - friendliness could be improved

Everything was very clean. Service was fast. The food was also complete and brought to the table quickly. The restrooms were also very clean. It wasn't too crowded. There was quiet music playing in the background. It was at a pleasant volume.

Absolutely beautiful from the outside. Dirty inside, all the carts full of trash, the store wasn't busy. Restrooms were absolutely filthy, and there was no toilet paper or towels. The staff fussed behind the counter, speaking their language the whole time. You couldn't even get food brought to your table because they didn't refill the number.

The coffee at McCafe is very good. The strawberry cake is delicious. It's as hectic as any other McDonald's.

The first burger I had was only lukewarm. For that reason, I won't be going here again.

I ordered a McFrappe - no straw. An apple turnover - only synthetic apples, no turnover. Apples taste like weed killer. I'm mad. MY MC CHICKEN CLASSIC JUST SALAD!! SUPER SMALL!!! DISGUSTING MARKETING. The chicken died sadly. This is actually hell for the taste buds. Hair in the mayo, extremely runny ice cream - not icy enough. The McFrappe doesn't taste like coffee like it used to. Apple turnover = crunchy, not tasty, smells like cardboard. Nuggets - smell good, look like nuggets, WRONG SAUCE, I'm disgusted. Without sauce, it tastes bland. With sauce, it suppresses the fact that the chicken died and ends up in my unenthusiastic digestive tract. Disgusting.

Change in experience 06/09/25! Awful business! The waitress (f) prefers her "colleagues" (has everyone waiting give her their slip of paper to her, then grabs the number and calls out! (It was full) And that happened twice within 15 minutes! The MC Rib from the menu was missing from our bag! Unfortunately, after the long wait, we didn't feel like checking the bag on the spot! Enjoy your burger and stuff it somewhere else! But I'm definitely not going back there anytime soon because that was my money and it borders on fraud (they always "forget" something in the bags/save money)!

Only one word comes to mind to describe the overall situation: "catastrophe." The entire floor of the store is simply filthy, every table is dirty and filthy, the restrooms are a complete disgrace. It smells horrible, everything is filthy, and there's paper everywhere on the floor. Conditions like this are simply unacceptable in the restaurant industry. I waited almost 25 minutes for my food despite plenty of staff and few customers. The tables were dirty and sticky, and food scraps and some packaging were lying on the floor. I've rarely seen such a dirty place, and on a Wednesday early evening, too.

It's difficult how things are these days in Peine. The tables are dirty, there are no signs put up for table service so that no member of staff has to bring the food. After asking politely whether the windows upstairs could be tilted or the ventilation switched on because it smells of feces and stale air, the only response was, "No, unfortunately that's not possible." The young member of staff tried very hard. The disinfectant dispenser upstairs was empty and in the past you would sometimes get a fork with your salad - this was only on request and with rolling your eyes - my Caramel Macchiato Grande was served without caramel - difficult, unfortunately that has really changed for the worse.

It's unacceptable that something is missing from a small Happy Meal for the third time in a row! I've gone back and complained each time. EVERY time, they refused to replace the missing items. The staff and service are terrible. I don't know how such people can do this job. They're clearly not interested, the majority of them are young, noticeably inexperienced, and have a "don't want to work" attitude. It's a shame. I used to enjoy coming here 15 years ago. Today was the last time.

Not at all. In my opinion, one of the dirtiest and loudest McDonald's restaurants I've ever experienced. The order wasn't what was ordered, it was extremely loud, and fries were flying everywhere. The tables were dirty. Definitely never again!

Disappointing Service – Incomplete Order and No Insight I would like to give an honest, albeit unpleasant, review of the service at this location. On May 25th at 10:00 AM, I ordered via the app (transaction number: 1761400; order number: 16/0). As is often the case, I had to wait about 10 minutes for my order – unfortunately, this has become a habit. I had ordered breakfast, including two 12-piece mini pancakes, each with two caramel and two chocolate sauces (a total of four sauces). When I received my order at the McDrive, I checked the contents – one pancake portion was missing, and there were only two sauces in the bag instead of four. I had to drive back to the restaurant to find out why I hadn't been given part of my paid order. Unfortunately, at the checkout, the employee told me I wasn't entitled to the additional two sauces and only gave me the missing portion of pancakes – without explanation or apology. If I order and pay for four sauces, I want four! This isn't the first time something has been forgotten. At the McDrive, you rely on everything being included – only to later discover, disappointed, that something is missing again. Is this negligence or a deliberate scam? That's at least how it appears: petty, time-consuming, and absolutely unfriendly to customers. This behavior not only "steals" ordered products, but also customers' time. The service really leaves a lot to be desired.

All I can say is, wow! Finally, hot burgers and a decently topped MC Rib! Service was very fast even though it was busy. Full marks!

The displays haven't worked at all or are extremely slow to respond for over a year. You'd think they were running Windows 95. Even if you do manage to order on the display and receive a receipt, you still have to wait for someone to call out the order number, because the monitor that shows the order progress is usually off. The employees (a colleague with dreadlocks and two women), especially on the late or night shift, try to salvage what can be salvaged.

It's always very busy here, so you have to wait a long time to order. If you want to eat there, it takes a long time, too. As an adult, you can be patient, but children sometimes don't understand how busy it is and how long it takes. Perhaps more staff or a better little play area where the children can be distracted could be helpful. We wanted to cancel once because our daughter didn't want to wait any longer. We were seated for 22 minutes after ordering and then wanted to leave. But otherwise, everything is fine. The wait times are just too long.

Food was hot, at least good! Order came quickly even though it was full! But the order machines didn't respond to typing and when you kindly pointed this out to employees, people laughed, rolled their eyes and were told "others had noticed that too!" Children's area available, but very dirty!

It takes way too long, it's super expensive and way too little for the money. So my colleagues would have suffered a coercive attack long ago and I'm on the verge of it

When we were there on Sunday it was very busy. The dish trolleys were overfilled and so the leftovers remained on the tables. Smeared tables didn't invite you to linger.

Totally unfriendly workers, no good customer service, no contact with people and me and my partner got the Minecraft menu with the collectible figure, but these figures were no longer available. This isn't a bad thing, but we weren't told and we were simply replaced with a cheap Happy Meal figure.

Self-service terminals are very slow; coupons aren't scanned, and the code isn't accepted when entered manually. Displays usually don't respond until you tap them three times. You end up having to wait up to 20 minutes before you can eat. My visit was on a Friday at lunchtime.

All 4 touch displays have been defective for months. They don't respond to touch. Totally annoying, the staff doesn't care.

It's really bad the employees stare at you for days/weeks and a strange woman with glasses and rabbit teeth sees you and runs straight to the next guy to tell him what a disaster this store is... I'm just shocked at what happened to these McDonalds.

After I ate the M Burger yesterday afternoon, I vomited several times during the night. Great birthday present for me today! We immediately noticed the hygiene in the store, but our hunger kept us sitting there. A big mistake! We'll avoid this McDonald's in the future. By the way, there were also two dogs IN THE restaurant. A no go for me!

We ordered food and picked it up via the drive. People were super unfriendly at Mc Drive. When we got home we noticed that our 20 nuggets were missing... I checked the bag superficially and saw that the sweet and sour ones were there. We attacked again in the restaurant and they just bullied us. Wouldn't go here again.

Just stop with this place, you can wait forever because it's just too much to prepare 3 burgers and then the crap is either cold or wrong... When we visited, the McDonald's was very busy (weekend) and there were no free tables. Unfortunately there was also a very long wait for the food. There was no running water at the hand basin in the men's toilets. Overall, the branch was very unkempt (tables, floor, toilets). If you're starving it's ok, otherwise please keep driving!

The young woman at the Mc Drive was very unfriendly, made up, long brown curly hair.

Waited 12 minutes for two hot drinks. The restaurant was empty. The employees literally worked in slow motion. The tables were mostly littered and dirty. We didn't feel like eating because the employees touched salads, nuggets, etc. without tongs or gloves.

After several visits (always McDrive) you can claim without a guilty conscience that you have found the worst location in the region. Out of 10 orders, 8 were always missing something or requests were not fulfilled (e.g. children's fries without salt, no cucumber, etc.). When it rains, it drips from the roof straight into the forced-open window. Depending on the amount of rain, the inside of the door is correspondingly wet. A little roof over the hatches would be so easy... And the third thing, which everyone admits affects Mc D., is the lack of hygiene when closing the cups. In all branches, 99% of the time the lid is pressed onto the cup with a flat hand. Next, you “suck” on it and try to drink without spilling. Where the hand was before, what it last touched, when it was last washed... it is impossible to trace. Hygiene = 0 out of 10 points!
