McDonald's in Schwandorf

From the moment we entered the drive-thru, it was a disaster. The staff didn't speak the local language adequately, card payments were canceled, and the change was thrown into the donation box without being asked. After waiting in the car for a good ten minutes, part of our order was missing, and we were asked to pay for it again, even though we had already paid. A true disaster – in terms of staffing. McDonald's should definitely deploy competent and trained staff in customer-facing areas again.

We ordered vegetarian nuggets and got meat. The wraps were all wrong and we couldn't get any more because we'd already taken a bite.

Amazing service, cozy atmosphere, very attentive Team: welcomed kids with a colouring set and exchanged the Happy Meal Toy easily.

The food actually tasted quite good, but unfortunately the cleanliness left something to be desired.

In the meantime you can no longer go to this branch. Everything takes forever, there is no trace of customer friendliness and there is no need to even talk about the completeness of the order. A double pack menu with extra fries takes 13 minutes if the restaurant is empty. Then of course the 6 nuggets are missing. You go and talk about it. Instead of apologizing, they are handed over without comment. They were available, but the fact that they might belong to the customer in an empty restaurant is probably unusual. The highlight is the possibility of evaluation. Of course, the printer doesn't work properly, so you can't enter your code from the receipt. Hence the review here. It gets worse every time. Something should be changed as soon as possible.

The ordering system is annoying. Printer is constantly empty, no numbers are displayed on the monitor, no reasonable communication with employees is possible

Never again! We were given the wrong order because the employee did something wrong and then we had the stress and had to argue. In the end they took the wrong order back even though they weren't allowed to do that... they'll probably sell it on. Disgusting!!!!

One star is still too many. Were there today around 3 p.m. Toilets dirty and smells of urine. Trash cans in the toilet were full. In the restaurant at the ordering terminal the table number displays were dirty. There was food and garbage lying around on the floor. We waited 15 minutes for our order. The fries were cold and the nuggets were no longer hot either. Simply more order and cleanliness would be appropriate in a shop that deals with food.

The positive first: we enjoyed all 3 burgers. Now noticeable negative: dirty entrance area at the terminals; 3 out of 4 order terminals worked; no table service possible because there were no stands at the terminal; Screen at the pickup counter off; Extremely dirty floor (here I would venture to assume that it hasn't been cleaned for a while - see photo). We really can't make a recommendation here. Maybe the McDonald's Company should check its franchisees better.🤷🏻‍♀️

Disappointing, dirty toilets. Staff annoyed. Order terminal out of order, receipt issue at the other. The outside area was kind of dark.

We had a stopover here and wanted to eat something. We had a hard time choosing where to sit, although there were a lot of free seats, the tables everywhere were very dirty. You don't like sitting there! 🫤

Worst branch! There are always things missing (sometimes burgers, sometimes fries, today ALL sauces!) Fries are ice cold and taste like they have been sitting for a long time. The burgers are also ice cold. The control sticker was removed from the apple bag (ice cold) before it was packed. At the ordering machine the roll was empty and no piece of paper came out. The pickup screen hasn't worked for ages. We will avoid this branch in the future! Totally chaotic and disorganized!

1 star is already too much. Every time you order takeout, something is missing. That's why I check before I leave whether "everything" is in there. Yes, today everything was there at first glance. But the food was inedible. Everything was ice cold (travel time 4 minutes) unfortunately I then noticed that all the sauces were missing! The Fanta can was also not included! Milkshake completely liquid! Even the apple turnover was ice cold! Apparently the sticker was removed beforehand! That's it, better travel time and another Mc! This branch should be closed!

Special requests such as fries without salt are met with annoyance. People often forget things in Mc Drive. Always check immediately.

Special request: No ice in drink --> there was ice in it Among other things, I ordered a double cheeseburger --> there was none. Unfortunately, I only noticed the missing burger on the highway, so I turned around annoyed at the next exit, only to be back 10 minutes after it was served. When I pointed out that I didn't see a double cheeseburger in there, the employee turned around and took the _READY_ burger from the dispenser that he had "overlooked" 10 minutes earlier and put it in the bag. No "sorry," no "I'm sorry," no "your entire order, including this burger, is now 15 minutes old - you'll get something as an apology." The moral: ALWAYS check IMMEDIATELY AFTER SERVING to make sure you have everything.

Sunday 8:00 a.m. - another McDonalds in Bavaria and again deserves five strong stars ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️. Very clean, staff very friendly, competent and helpful, everything delicious 😋, sun is shining, absolutely recommended..

The food is prepared quickly so if you are in a hurry the whole thing is perfect

The Happy Meal was missing the nuggets... fries not salted and cold. Lots of staff and no one has a plan.

Disaster! All cars had to pull over to the right (the waiting areas 1 and 2 are actually marked on the left) and we waited over 15 minutes for Royal cheese and wrap without any special requests 🤷🏻‍♂️

Unfortunately we didn't get any reusable cups and it wasn't clean (neither in the customer area nor in the kitchen).

Food is always lukewarm and it has nothing to do with being quick if you always have to wait at least 10 minutes.... I wouldn't say anything if everything was hot 🔥... what a shame

As usually dirty and unfriendly. The return stations were completely overcrowded and no free table was clean. Luckily there is always cleaning supplies available. Because you don't want to sit down at the table without cleaning.

It's stupid when you build a charging station but close the barrier in front of it...

I wish I could give 0 stars for service I ordered mobile and selected the option to deliver to the table (42). A bit chaotic although there were enough staff there, but totally in disarray. The burger was too cold and the fries were even colder.

Employees are grumpy and unfriendly, breakfast was sub-par, juice had to be requested. Pankakes were stone hard, food was almost cold. There was no response at all to inquiries or complaints. Had breakfast there once and never again.

Long wait for coffee and cheeseburgers

It's a juice shop where the employees are unfriendly, the orders are always wrong or the order is incomplete and if you say something to the employee you'll be addressed stupidly from the side

Is this a juice shop or a McDonalds? That's the question I had to ask myself. The dog on the street has better service than this McDonalds. The staff is very unfriendly and has no understanding of anything. I ordered a McFlurry and didn't get a receipt. As always in this McDonalds. I communicated this to the employees. The first employee didn't understand and ran away screaming, I don't understand. Then another blonde employee came and said that I had to wait. I waited 10 minutes! And no one came to do anything. I then took my order and left. On the one hand, the McDonalds was very dirty and the tables were full of rubbish. The floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in at least 2 weeks. The toilets smelled of urine and it was a very unpleasant experience. I don't think this is an experience you want to have. Next time go to Burger King or just go hungry.

If you advertise in big letters with the statement "Branch of the Future", then my claim is completely different. There is nothing that distinguishes this McDonald's from any other restaurant in the chain. The silk dispenser in the toilet was broken and the urinals still had a hand pusher for flushing. So anything but the future.

Unfortunately the slide was out of service. The toddlers were very disappointed. Staff knew nothing.

Unfortunately, my last visit to this branch was a disappointment. The tables were dirty and it seems like the floors hadn't been cleaned properly in weeks. Dirtiest McDonald's I've ever seen!! The toilet was also in an unacceptable condition. I was also shocked when I saw an employee with a nosebleed working in service. Nobody seemed to be really working, the staff were just standing around except in the kitchen, even though there was a lot to do. To make matters worse, the burger was more expensive than usual and visually just looked disastrous. All in all a very unsatisfactory visit. I didn't expect something like that from McDonald's.

Half an hour before closing the food was ordered cold and hard and there were two other customers there and all the sauces and a drink were still forgotten. I know it's late but if it's open until 3 a.m. I want to be served until 3 a.m. at least I pay I'd rather go back to Burger King for the trash

The staff isn't exactly friendly, unfortunately they always forget to pack the sauces. The food was delicious, pickup was easy. Kids like the food, otherwise we wouldn't order anymore. Unfortunately we have been disappointed so many times :-(

If I could give zero stars I would. The store has become very expensive. Were today on 10/2/24 here in McDonald's in Schwandorf and ordered table service online. And the food wasn't brought and no notice was given. And the iced coffee shake should actually taste like coffee, but it doesn't have a chocolate taste. Staff very unfriendly.

Organization 0, the cappuccino was a milky mess, no milk foam, let alone the fact that I got it in a cup to drink here, but in a mug. Sustainability?? I'm not usually one to criticize, but phew. I got the money back, no sign from the restaurant manager as to whether I wanted to get a new one.

Went to the Mc Drive counter today, repeated our order 3 times and 3 times it was taken incorrectly, more was added than we actually wanted and we said out loud that that wasn't true. Wasn't noticed. Employee was very unfriendly. And if you complained on site you were just looked at stupidly and not even apologized. And last but not least, when I was drinking, the lid wasn't on properly and my pants were completely wet.

We have now stopped eating. You're happy after hours of driving and then you're supposed to sit in a sauna. Lots of bees outside and inside it was like a sauna. To this day, the worst experience ever for me. The store apparently doesn't have air conditioning.

I have already drunk a lot of cappuccinos from MC because I like them very much. Unfortunately, I had to return the cappuccino twice. In total we had 3 cappuccinos there and none of them tasted good. The staff added another shot of espresso and made a new one on the second try. Service was good, but I can't recommend cappuccino.

Ideal location if you've been traveling on the highway for hours. Right at the exit. We were on the way to vacation and had breakfast here. Food was good. Clean branch with good service.

Well, fast, good service is different, unfortunately very long waiting times. Fries are cold and not fresh. Employees unfriendly and stressed when the restaurant is at around 20% capacity.

Food was freshly prepared. Staff tried to work quickly given the high volume of people. Waiting time was okay. The sour burger sauces on all the different burgers didn't convince us in terms of taste. However, the staff can't do anything about it. Price and performance don't match the size of the burgers and the artificial taste. It's just too expensive for that.

Very good McDonald's. Cleanliness and service are very important to me. Things are going very well in this restaurant. Even during lunch rush, the tables are quickly cleared, cleaned and even cleaned with a shovel and broom. I thought that was very good, and you can see it too. Everything cared for. I come here often and I've never not had to wait for my food. Other branches seem to be better organized and I often get the food straight away. I always only order common menu items because I don't feel like waiting. But waiting is normal here, no matter what you order.

Anyone who goes in and orders loses. The DriveIn is served first. As a customer you can wait 30 minutes for your coffee when you go in. So far too few staff. We paid for our coffee, but at some point we wanted to move on...

Addendum from May 30th: Simply bottomless 🤣 Terminals are down, staff totally overwhelmed, waited 20 minutes for 2 coffees and 2 wraps, small spoons out, large cups out??? A large cappuccino now costs almost 5 euros, we ordered this specifically to drink in the restaurant so that we would NOT be served it in a cup but in cups. We were given 2 paper cups because the large cups were out without informing us beforehand. It's a shame, the staff seems to have changed too. We're here 1-2x every week and we know there's definitely a better way

Amazingly clean in the MC. An employee was just cleaning. The waitresses were friendly and did everything quickly. I like to drive from Burglengenfeld to Schwandorf. Burglengenfeld is now a catastrophe and could take several lessons from it.

Rarely have I seen such a poorly organized and disastrous McDonalds. Yes, thank you, I like my cheeseburger with 2 liters of ketchup on it. Logically, I also order the tomatoes from my BigTasty just for fun. And then the McDrive. You already have low expectations when you get food to-go from Mc, but this branch always manages to regularly surprise you negatively on a new level. Why the hell should you ALWAYS pull over to the right after paying? Even if there is no car behind you? I have now been forgotten and “left behind” for the second time. It really is an art to consistently disappoint the customer in the same way. Dirty store, really.
