The staff closed the restaurant nearly two ours before their closing time.

According to Google, it's open until 2:00 AM. In reality, it closed at 12:30 AM.

This is the second time now that I've received chicken nuggets instead of plant nuggets, this time in a plant wrap without cheese. I'm allergic to chicken! Luckily, I only had moderate allergic reactions like a runny nose, scratchy throat, and stomach pain. I've also reported this to the health department. People with allergies can die from this! Unfortunately, one has practically become accustomed to constantly receiving the wrong food and missing or cold food...

Bad place, the drive-thru is overcrowded and they can't manage to distribute the food, we've been waiting for 2 hours.

1. Impossible parking: The McDonald's drive-thru blocks unpacking. Customers have to queue in the drive-thru to leave the parking lot. 2. McDonald's drive-thru is blocked. I've been waiting for 22 minutes and only two cars have been served. 3. Food is often cold. 4. Management is rude about returned food. I've known this "restaurant" since it opened. From now on, I'll avoid it!

One of the cleanest McDonald's locations. Highly recommended.

Super friendly staff, it's simply cozy and the food is delicious.

Been there 3 times, food was missing 3 times, you pay for it and something is always missing.

It's McDonald's, after all :-) But it's clean and the staff are friendly.

With all due respect, turning on the air conditioning when the outside temperature is 5°C is almost tantamount to assault; it seems the intention is to leave quickly and never come back in these temperatures.

The only bright spot in this restaurant is the nice guy who raps at the counter, as well as the nice older guy (I think he's Turkish, I hope I'm not mistaken 🙏) with the mustache. Went there in the evening, no cars at the pick-up windows. There were one or two cars ahead of us at the order window. Still, we waited 45 minutes (!!!). The order was completely wrong. You can't really blame the staff. He was solely responsible for pick-up, orders in the restaurant, and orders at the drive-thru. Both shift supervisors (managers?) were extremely unfriendly. In the morning, the curly-haired, 1.50-meter-tall woman kicked me out after 20 minutes, while I was eating. The place was completely empty. Her reason: they were reserving seats for customers. The 190-kilo steamroller of a manager in the evening seemed content to just yell at the Turkish employee. The employee was sweeping, there were a maximum of four customers in the shop, two of whom were ordering, but he should have been paying more attention to bringing the order to the table. Understandable, the roller was already completely soaked with sweat from putting the burger on the tray. Despite this, he just kept yelling and shouting that nothing was working. All in all, there are capable, nice employees there. But the annoying, unfriendly managers ruin everything. It's understandable that they're short-staffed and no longer want to work there.

I waited 15 minutes for my paid order because the customer in front of me had placed a bulk order, and the available staff seemed to be solely focused on that. Then I left. So much for fast food. Keep the money. That was my last visit.

Who needs ambiance at McDonald's? It's important that the food is good and freshly prepared. And that works really well at this branch. Thirty years ago, the food tasted the same in every branch. Today, I have my list of places I can go. And Trockenbrück is definitely a recommendation. Addendum from October 24, 2025 Today, as usual, I ordered via the app and had it delivered to my table. And even though I kept an eye on the monitor, not much was happening, even though the employees were busy. It took at least 20 minutes for my order to arrive. The fries were okay, the Royal TS and the two hamburgers were cold. And all that for a total of €15.39! Not like that. That's a lot of money. And much too slow for a fast-food restaurant. I'm looking forward to my next visit and won't change the stars this time.

A very cozy restaurant with very friendly staff. Table service is excellent. Our dog was even allowed to come along and was even given a bowl of water.

Often forget something in the McDrive and when you get back in line everything is cold and you have to live with that and don't get your order at 👎 thank you for your incompetence and unfair service

Today (September 7th) we were served by what was probably the friendliest and funniest employee in the entire McDonald's chain. She was up for a laugh and lifted our mood, which was already gloomy after the long car ride. At the end, she even asked if the food was tasty... never experienced that at McDonald's before and was pleasantly surprised.

The restaurant is often dirty. The staff isn't well-organized and often seems bored. Burgers often look like they've been sitting there for an hour, or are haphazardly placed.

Everything is littered and smells like wet cat food tastes like plastic

A truly unfriendly employee (blonde, glasses), she's always so annoyed, it's no fun. Furthermore, this store is so customer-unfriendly. They don't care whether you're satisfied; they apparently don't care about their customers!

I thought every McDonald's had to follow strict rules. Like working hygienically in the kitchen and therefore wearing gloves while preparing food?! 🤨🫣 They're also absolutely not allowed to touch cash or tables with their bare hands and then prepare or serve food again. And very strangely, not every menu/dish was actually available, even though it's advertised on the signs inside… 😵‍💫 because we came specifically for the "Mit Mecces um die Welt" products… And make sure your burgers are cooked through: if everyone's cheddar cheese isn't melted… that speaks volumes.

You usually know what to expect when you go to McDonald's. But the poor parking situation...caused by the backlog at the McDonald's Drive-In, has now been further enhanced by new opening hours. These aren't listed online, and we had to reschedule at short notice.

Unfriendly, hardly anything on offer and although the official website says it's open until midnight, you're no longer allowed to eat there at 8:45 pm.

How can you have such a lame employee at the drive-in at the end of the Elspe Festival? The line of cars stretched all the way to the turning lane. It wasn't busy inside. I had to wait about 30-40 minutes before we could order. Then we had to wait another 10 minutes for a Happy Meal. This is unacceptable.

Apparently open 24/7 – but only with a drive-thru! If you're walking, there's no place to eat! This should definitely be announced digitally, not just with a note on the door. The restaurant is only open until 9 p.m.!

Unfortunately, I can NOT recommend this place. I was here today, July 14th, at 6:50 p.m. That slightly overweight lady with long brown hair and glasses—what in God's name is wrong with that person? She chases the employees around, insults them, and yells at them in front of the customers. I've never met such an unhappy and unfriendly person before. She speaks very loudly and uses very vulgar language, so that the entire McDonald's can hear her. A person like that definitely does NOT belong behind the counter, but in the restroom, cleaning the toilets! Definitely not suitable for McDonald's. This will definitely be my last visit here! A huge shout-out goes to the three other employees who really try hard to satisfy customers!

Today (July 14, 2025) I was at McDonald's in Lennestadt-Elspe with my wife and children around 11 p.m. Unfortunately, the atmosphere among the team was unpleasant: The shift manager was loud, condescending, and quite rude to the employees – audible in the dining room. Especially this late in the evening, when the team is already stressed, managers should set a good example – no reason to put others down. This behavior struck me and my family as negative. I hope this will be addressed internally.

A really unfriendly shift manager. I asked her quite normally if table service was possible, and then she argued with me, saying, "Yes, there's no staff, and so on," and then she yelled at the entire staff. Hello, I'm not usually one to leave a review on Google, but today (Sunday, July 6, 2025) at around 3:50 PM, I visited McDonald's. I was driving, so I ordered at the counter. The employee, a short woman with blond hair, was extremely unfriendly, disrespectful, and unpleasant. I'll be avoiding this branch for the foreseeable future. Best regards

I ordered a Royal Cheese. I got a TS. Okay, it happens. The way the lady behind the counter handled my complaint was truly borderline unfriendly. Not a simple "sorry" or "please" when the correct burger was handed to me after a long wait. If the owner is reading this: train your staff and make sure they treat their guests properly!

I was very sad there was no iced tea!

A nice old man served us kindly... Turkish employees were only on their phones, talking loudly about pork, not so good... Ordered a Coke without ice cubes, but got half a cup full of ice cubes. That was mean! The burgers were assembled very carelessly... My wife and I were very sad... She didn't even want to eat her McFlurry afterward :( Then we left.

I gave a rating of 2 stars a long time ago. As a business owner you should ensure customer satisfaction but that is unfortunately not the case here. That's why I'm giving it another rating this time only one star. I would prefer not to give it one. You increase your prices by at least 1€ every year, that's just outrageous. I hope many other customers notice it too, but for me this was the last visit to this company.

Simply terrible. In 30 degree heat we just wanted to sit outside and enjoy a cold ice cream, and of course we didn't want to leave our dogs in the car in this heat, so we went through the store and out. Then a waitress came straight up behind us and shit on us: that's not okay. I said huh, we're sitting outside... no sorry, and we were thrown out. We could eat without dogs... yeah, of course I'll let my dogs die in the car so McDonald's makes money. I drive to Olpe, there dogs even sit in the restaurant and don't get thrown out, or I drive straight to Burger King, where my dogs were even brought water outside. Update 5/24/25: this is by far the worst McDonald's in the area. In contrast to Werdohl, Olpe, Meinerzhagen and Lüdenscheid. Lennestadt is just as crap as Freudenberg: dirty, toilets 🤮, something in the store is constantly beeping, raw fries, the products are simply not prepared properly.

Watch your change. . Trying to deceive you

We've been to McDonald's and Elspe several times now. And every time the burgers and fries were cold and either not salted all the way through or too much salt. In addition, the burgers are so topped that everything falls apart when unpacked. So never again McDonald's Elspe

So the food is good. I order it 90 percent in advance, it wasn't ready, which isn't a bad thing, and I pick it up at the drive. My initial experience at this McDonald's was disappointing due to an issue with the order and the level of service. However, the situation was later addressed, and the management showed a willingness to make things right, which is appreciated.

I chose the service to bring to the table, they didn't bring it, they didn't even call my order, they didn't even deliver the donut I chose and paid for, in the end they gave me some disgusting flatbread, the burger was expensive too, my colleague who had the grand BBQ chesse burger had burnt meat...
