McDonald's in Langenhagen

Most of the time everything is great, but today I got cold fries, which really annoyed me. Also, the McPlant Burger isn't that tasty, and unfortunately, there aren't any other vegetarian/vegan options, which is a real shame. The restaurant is usually clean, but there's often no toilet paper in the restrooms, although there was some today. Overall, it's okay, but a bit pricey, and there are things that could be improved. How long does it take to make ice cream? Apparently 20 minutes—a true feat of engineering, thanks!

Super friendly staff and fast service

Completely overcrowded on my last visit on Sunday. The staff were therefore incredibly stressed and unfriendly. The food was okay. But the place wasn't very clean.

I ordered food and waited over an hour. When I asked about it, the only response I got was, and I quote, "Well, we must have forgotten. Do you still want it?" I found that very rude and impolite. The tables were sticky again.

The quality is declining... and now the cappuccino cups are only half full. Problem seems to be solved - the cups are full again 😀👍

I just ordered a double espresso, a marble muffin, and a cheesecake muffin. What I received was a cheesecake and a regular espresso; only the marble muffin was correct. Great service, thanks!

A very, very dirty McDonald's. There were trays full of trash lying around everywhere. The tables and floors were also very dirty. An employee first wiped the floor, then the wall in the kids' area. Simply disgusting. We waited about an hour for our food, which was served on a dirty tray.

CHECK YOUR ORDERS!!! I was missing a pack of McNuggets and 3 burgers!!! Unfortunately, I didn't notice until I got home!

McDonald's Ehmann in Langenhagen – a culinary adventure of a special kind. The burger came twice, cold, apparently served fresh from the refrigerator – innovative, I guess you could call it sous-fridge gourmet. The tables were so dirty you could almost have planted your own Happy Meal on them. And the staff – pure joie de vivre! I last saw so much enthusiasm on a Monday morning at the tax office. In short: If you want to bury your expectations of food, hygiene, and service all at once, this is the place to be.

After a four-hour flight, we wanted something to eat at 1:30 a.m. The dining room was dirty, there was food lying around everywhere, leftovers, and trays that hadn't been cleared because trays couldn't be returned. We ordered with the app, but our order didn't arrive. After 15 minutes, we asked again. They said there was no table service today. Our order was prioritized, and after over 25 minutes, we had our food. Thanks, McDonald's, once a year is enough.

Disgustingly dirty shop. Unfriendly staff. Orders received incorrectly or incompletely. The work is sloppy. The server also prepares the food and comes to the front to grab the orders. This causes the food to sit for a long time. The health department should conduct a spontaneous inspection.

We ordered two coffees, but they were served in paper cups, as if we'd ordered them to go, even though we ordered them to eat in. The entire floor in the restaurant was extremely sticky, which was really unpleasant. I don't even want to start on the cleanliness of the restrooms; they were simply unhygienic. All in all: a disaster. I would definitely not recommend this location.

After years of abstinence, I went back to MCD. First, I had to hammer my order into some digital canned food machine instead of talking to a human who actually understood my language. The machine then asked me five times if I wouldn't like some fried Antarctic penguins with sage tea on the menu. As if I were too stupid to know what I wanted. My food was actually brought to my table. As expected, the burgers were as cold as the Coke. And the fat M falls apart into a thousand pieces while you eat it. Knowing this, the staff, thank goodness, took the precaution of packing 20 napkins on my tray. As expected, a formative experience that I won't repeat for at least five years.

You know it, and that's exactly why you go here. We were able to make our grandchildren happy with this visit. The service was very friendly and attentive.

This was the worst visit to a McDonald's I've ever had. We were there at night, it was barely busy, and yet two out of four orders were forgotten or left uncooked. The staff were very rude to our questions, sometimes just staring into space, and the restaurant was very dirty.

Since half of my family is vegetarian, I'm done with McDonald's since they no longer serve veggie burgers.

It's cold and you wait half an hour for your order and if you complain you're not understood or you get annoyed.

I've been here for the first time in a long time and today I had friendly and competent service. That wasn't always the case.

On September 29, 2025, my wife was at the restaurant. She ordered two Happy Meals and two 6-pack nuggets at 6:26 PM. At 7:08 PM, she was still waiting for her order. When she received the food 45 minutes later, it was also incorrectly packaged, and my wife had to complain about it. My subsequent inquiry as to whether the entire order could be canceled was denied, with the explanation that the cancellation had to go through headquarters, and they would then process the refund. (Based on my many years of experience as a cashier in retail, canceling a receipt, including the refund to my account, should be a simple matter.) I wouldn't write such a review if this wasn't the second time in a very short period of time that we've had to wait so long. And no one feels responsible. The Macces used to be good. But it's just a shadow of its former self. With a wait time of 45 minutes, you can no longer call it fast food. I hope they change their behavior. Unfortunately, they won't see us as customers again.

Forgot my cheeseburger and too much ice in the drink

This branch is simply terribly managed; there are far too few employees for the influx of customers. You wait between 30 and 90 minutes for your food, which is unacceptable for a McDonald's. The employees try very hard, and you really feel sorry for them, given how much they have to do in such a short time, and how they are approached by justifiably dissatisfied customers. So, of course, some orders get forgotten, which is only human under the pressure. It's unaffordable; in the end, the customers and employees are the ones who suffer. Close the branch or appoint sensible management, please! 🙏🏼

Very friendly Power outlets everywhere

I use the drive-thru before making the long journey home from the airport at night. The food is just like any other restaurant, and it's even very hot. Tastes differ, but if you like McDonald's, you'll eat it. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I haven't had any bad experiences with this restaurant yet.

I bought something at the McDonald's today and paid with my card. I wanted to get the receipt, but the employee said it wasn't working, so I couldn't get one! Also, even though I ordered mayonnaise, it wasn't in the box!

At McDonald's. Talk about fast food. Everything was ice cold, the fries were saltless, soggy, and practically inedible. Over 30 euros wasted. Really annoying. Not again.

This was always my favorite MC, but honestly, you wait 10 minutes to even order. Then it takes forever for the food to arrive, and in the end, you can only sit down at one of the many dirty, greasy, and trashy tables. It's unfortunate how something can go downhill like that.

I've been sitting here waiting for over 30 minutes for my food! Fast food isn't what you'd call it! The tables are dirty; we had to wipe ours ourselves! And there's trash all over the floor! Nothing's happening here!

Ordered at 7:07 p.m. I didn't get the food until 7:40 p.m. The tables outside were very dirty, and the floor was littered with trash. The staff were friendly and apologized for the long wait—at least. The food was good, fries were hot, but unfortunately, all the burgers were only lukewarm. Overall, slow and dirty. Compared to other McDonald's, this one is much better. Unfortunately, orders are sometimes forgotten, but the crowds are also quite big.

Absolutely everything was forgotten when ordering at the drive-thru. From the extras for both Happy Meals to drinks and burgers. Very bad service, and the wait was incredibly long.

Since Kai Henneke left, the store has really gone downhill. The outdoor seating is just on the floor, and the employees are extremely unfriendly.

Unfriendly staff and bad atmosphere

I ate there yesterday. I've noticed since yesterday how bad I feel. I've never felt like this before, only once on holiday. I hate severe pain. I only ate a few bites of the burger and a few fries and also ate ice cream a couple of times. This MCS is unacceptable. I would like to know how they prepare this food.

McDrive at 7 p.m.: You order via app, and even the employee can't figure that out. She was super cheeky and did everything wrong.

Very disappointing. I waited 33 minutes for my order, and there was no apology. There weren't many people in the restaurant, but queues formed because orders simply weren't being taken. Ice was selected for my drink—it wasn't added. When I asked, the only response was, "There's no ice." Fries were completely unsalted. No cup holder. Service—terrible. All four ordering machines have been malfunctioning for at least a year. Not a single one works reliably. The restaurant is constantly like a sauna—whether it's cold or warm outside. It's almost unbearable.

Waiting 30 minutes for your order has nothing to do with a fast food restaurant!

All the displays that are supposed to show pickup numbers are broken. 3 out of 4 order terminals refused to accept orders. The 4th worked; you just had to work on the receipt printer to get the pickup receipt :) The staff isn't interested in interacting at all, and items are missing from takeout orders... Apparently, there are 3 too many items to check. This franchise location is just terrible, unfortunately... I'm glad I was able to donate €10 with my missing products 🤝

I visited this McDonald's for the first time today. Everything was nice and clean and tidy. The restrooms were also very clean and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and courteous. My order was taken quickly and was freshly prepared. I ordered a Royal Hamburger with cheese and this one without a pickle and with an extra slice of cheese. My order was filled very quickly and correctly. The burger was really hot and tasted great. I'll be back!

The staff is generally very unfriendly, no matter when you go. On the first floor, there are always one or more tables left dirty by customers, never even cleared. I'm not even talking about the men's restroom, which I get the impression is never cleaned. Because it's also permanently dirty or trashed. For a place that's often empty, you can't say it's a clean dining place. I work in the restaurant industry myself, have been a boss, manager, etc., and wherever I've been, it was always clean; I paid close attention to that. This branch near Langenhagen train station has to have a manager who's there 24/7 and 100% ensures that the place is always open around the clock.

The food is, as you'd expect from McDonald's, not very good, but it's the kind of fast food you'd expect. The service is terrible. The last four times I've been there, either something was missing from my order or something was included that I didn't order, but something that I did order was also missing.

We received very rude service at the McDonald's drive-thru today. I wanted to use the McDonald's app, but when I was paying, the employee said it wasn't possible and that I had to specify it when ordering. And how was I supposed to know that information if she hadn't mentioned it when ordering?

Cold food, almost two hours waiting for my Lieferando order, completely unqualified staff who couldn't give me any information.

Monday night around 12:45 a.m. after the Linkin Park concert, we wanted to get something to eat at the yellow M on our way home. The staffing has since become a complete disaster! 50 customers had the same idea as us. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food! Around 2 a.m. after dinner, we were finally able to head home. Cold food, older nuggets, no staff (2 people in the kitchen, 1 at the front desk, and 1 person for the drive-thru). How are you supposed to manage all that?! Simply insane!

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time our order has gone missing. When we asked about packing our order, they forgot the 6-pack nuggets 💔 There were far too few curly fries in the bag. The Royal TS today, however, looked like it came from an ad - a big plus. 🙏🏻 Otherwise, I'll have to cry for my nuggets now, as we unfortunately only noticed they were missing when we got home. Addendum: I resolved the situation online through the customer service department and received a voucher as compensation ♥️

Yesterday was the Linkin Park concert, and a lot of people went there afterward. It's perfectly normal that it takes longer, but the overall process was completely disorganized. We waited a miserably long time, only for an employee to ask us for our order form, which we weren't even given. Then those idiots forgot FOUR(!) chicken burgers, gave the Big Mac a fish patty instead of chicken, and handed out fries that even bark mulch would have tasted better. Every order (in front of and behind us) was missing something – without exception. I understand that the employees were stressed yesterday, but please, please process the orders properly so that people can leave and make room. It artificially dragged everything out and frustrated everyone. Never going there again, especially not after an event like that.

Hi, we were here on a Friday at 11pm and were glad to be out again. The ambiance, the cleanliness, tables not clean and the toilet extremely dirty, everything was very borderline, you definitely don't feel comfortable here...

01) The tables weren't clean! Regardless of the fact that we guests are supposed to leave the place clean!!! The staff doesn't care whether the tables are cleared or not. We had to clear our table ourselves! 02) We had two portions of fries, among other things! Both were cold (not lukewarm). 03) Either it's the policy to put less sauce on the burgers? Or the staff had no idea. We're not used to something like this from MCD. It's a shame

Divine. We drove into the McDrive. There was a vehicle in front of us. While we were waiting in front of the first vehicle, two customers came running up and knocked on the door. The first customer was missing something, the second had gotten a burger (supposed to be a cheeseburger) that consisted of a bun and patty. They forgot the rest. It happens sometimes. While the vehicle in front of us drove away, we waited a whopping 10 minutes for our food. Absolutely hilarious, because during that time, two more customers arrived and complained about missing items. 1 Coke, 1 burger. When we finally got our food, we checked our orders. Meanwhile, the man at the checkout line asked us if a Capri-Sun was missing. At first glance, we agreed. We got it and drove home. Here we noticed that we now had two Capri-Suns. Something seems to be wrong here. I recommend test purchases, including feedback for the employees. Friendliness wasn't a problem. Hence 2 stars. Edit: And the last star is also lost. Please give an update 05/25/25 - 10:10. Really nice guy at the drive-thru counter. Irony off. Extremely unpleasant. Demanding after he didn't understand we had an order code. No please, no thank you, just no comment. Truly unpleasant personality. Zero willingness/deportment to provide service. Even in a management position in service. This behavior urgently calls for behavior correction or further training. On top of that, the orange juice for €3.19 + €0.25 was forgotten. I got out, complained about the item. Answer: Yes, sorry! Hey everyone, I unfortunately have to say a few words about my last visit here. I was really excited, but the experience was anything but pleasant. First of all, the staff – I've rarely encountered such rude and irritable employees. You'd think they were having a bad day, but that shouldn't be the norm. Then the big promise on the coupons: "Glasses for everyone!" Yeah, where are they? I was looking forward to it and came by especially, only to find that they weren't there. Super disappointing! And then the McDonald's Sunday – it was only available in reusable cups with a deposit. Seriously? That's not what I expected, especially considering the advertisements. It was also really difficult to communicate with the staff, as hardly anyone spoke German. That made the whole experience even more frustrating. And the machines were completely crazy; it was a real struggle to place my order! Last but not least: The entrance is extremely narrow, and I almost lost my nerve trying to get in. And as if that wasn't enough, my order wasn't complete either. I hope improvements are made here soon, because it's no fun like this. What a shame about the location and the great idea behind it! Never waited so long for food before—20 minutes. The employees aren't passionate about their jobs and are unfriendly. And the trash area outside is overflowing. The food was simply thrown onto the tray. No veggie burger, no nuggets. So, that was the last time. We'll stick with Burger King then.

Juice shop!!! The employees themselves complain that personnel costs have to be saved and that this leads to extreme waiting times (in the Drive Inn). 20 minutes for 2 hamburgers…. Craziness !!!

A wild fever dream, the ordering machines were trying to completely rip me off. I had to slap the screen with my whole hand to confirm my selection. I've had other people look at me angrily. It took me 5 minutes to type my order into this fucking computer. Then I waited 20 minutes for my order. Sure, the shop is full on Sunday, but the work was really chaotic. The result was cold fries, thrown together burgers and ancient MC ribs. The sanitary napkin has already softened the box. The ice cream maker somehow broke and I didn't get the right ice cream. These were sometimes unavoidable problems for what was being worked on or the service was interested in fixing the problems.

1 star is still too much.. soggy cold French fries chicken tasted like sweet sauce even though my sauce was missing.. they were warmed up several times and were not fresh.. like cardboard.. staff stand in the shop bored.. chatting.. the crowning glory was the totally dirty toilet.. I have never seen anything like that in my entire life.. unfortunately not usable.. the shop should be closed..

Was here as part of a blood donation campaign and ate something at McDonalds for the first time in many years. After the first bite, I knew again why I prefer other burger chains and generally avoid McDonalds: The burger was just a soft, mushy lump with too much sauce - only the cucumber was worth chewing, I wouldn't have needed my teeth for the rest. The only bright spot were the fries, which were actually reasonably crispy. Unfortunately, I received my food in a bag instead of on a tablet, even though I had ordered from the restaurant using the DRK voucher I received and had not even been asked whether I would like to take the food with me. So eating was a bit awkward.

This business has really declined. Dirty tables. No soap, no towels in the toilet. Some of the food was only lukewarm. Some people are probably saying: As always. But that was different.

The toilets were dirty, the banister was sticky. So far, I have always appreciated clean sanitary areas in other branches. Unfortunately that wasn't the case here.

Addendum from this morning at 8:30 After waiting 5 minutes at the intercom at the drive-in, we drove back. Probably didn't want to sell anything. Hasn't improved Old post: The fries were soft pale and not great. They probably could have done something else. There is too much smoke flavor in the new veggiburger, the old one was better. The way to the upper floor was difficult: the railing stuck almost more than the floor. The toilets matched - disgusting. I haven't seen something like this at McDonald's in a long time.

The worst McDonald's. If I order a Happy Meal with a toy for a child, I expect to be able to choose the toy for the child. Today I asked the lady with the glasses to exchange it for another toy and she said they didn't have it. SHE DIDN'T EVEN LOOK! So my question? Why is there a toy cabinet at the entrance if the staff doesn't care about customers' needs? this is a tragedy. Not to mention having to constantly check your order because you won't get what you want!!!!
