McDonald's in Langenhagen

If you've worked all day and haven't eaten, you shouldn't rush to McDonald's after work. The awful service and terrible food will completely kill your appetite. Next time, I'll drive there hungry and make myself some sandwiches at home. They taste better and are cheaper, too.

Redeeming points for a scented candle and not receiving them wouldn't be their problem. We ordered and paid for a cake with extra cream, didn't get any cream, and instead of the new White Choc drink (specified as extra decaffeinated), we got a regular latte macchiato. Besides, we'd already lost our appetite after ordering when we saw a man with long, loose, and extremely greasy hair standing in the kitchen fiddling with our food. Unfortunately, it was an unappetizing and uninviting sight.

The food was not good. Two people had the same stomach and intestinal problems.

Worst service ever. I was offered a meal voucher because of a canceled flight. I wanted to eat at McDonald's. The employees scanned the voucher, but then the device crashed due to a communication problem. They scanned it again, and lo and behold, my long-desired voucher was invalid. They handled it very well, and the airline couldn't issue me a new one either. I unexpectedly had to eat somewhere else and hope for a refund. But the friendliness and service were far from there. No suggestions for solutions or assistance? None!

I had to vomit several times after eating.1 point only because otherwise it doesn't work

For over an hour, neither we nor any other guests were served – allegedly due to a "system error." Instead of trying to find a solution, the employees stood around idly, giving the impression that they weren't at all concerned about the situation. Every question was met with a nonchalant "We don't know how long this will take." For me, as someone with extensive experience in the restaurant industry, this behavior is completely unprofessional and disrespectful to the guests. No one attempted to take responsibility or even suggest a solution. Combined with the many other negative reviews about the staff, this unfortunately paints a clear picture: poor service and complete indifference.

My experience happened almost four years ago now. Plagued by hunger, I headed for a McDonald's around 2 a.m. before checking in for our flight. My stomach was growling for fries and burgers, I was already aching from hunger, and my mouth was watering at the thought of the delicacies from the realm of Ronald McDonald. I nervously fumbled with my 20-euro bill, which I had kept ready so I could pay for the delicacies without any complications. Then something happened that I never would have thought possible and that would make Ray Kroc turn in his grave: I was coldly ignored for over 10 minutes. Because I'm rather shy, I didn't dare approach the scowling assistant cook. Finally, I had to return to the waiting area, sadly disappointed and hungry as a brown bear before hibernation. My vacation was completely ruined.

Not recommended. Significantly worse than the average McDonald's. Bad service + cold burger and fries 🍟

Today (Monday, August 4, 2025, 12 p.m.), I waited almost 30 minutes for my order of two double cheeseburgers because I ordered them without sauce, and unfortunately, they forgot. I didn't say anything, but the server noticed and wanted to change it. I then took the bag to the car and wanted to eat something on the go, and unfortunately, only then did I realize that they had packed me the completely wrong thing: a burger with Chicken McNuggets inside! :-( So, actually, minus stars for: - 1 burger was missing - 1 incorrect burger (which I unfortunately don't like) - Approx. 30 minutes of waiting time And there's no refund either :-(

By far the rudest staff I've ever encountered. Avoid this restaurant at all costs!

Catastrophe we wait 1 hour for 2 coffees

It took an incredibly long time, we waited for 1.5 hours!

The service was bad. I mean, I had to wait half an hour for the food, and they didn't even bring the food I ordered. Just bad.

Fast food should be quick, especially at the airport, so you don't have to worry about missing your flight.

I've been waiting for my food for 40 minutes and when I want my money back I don't get it. Now I have 30 minutes to board my plane and the food is still not here.

Unacceptable service. We waited over an hour for a burger, fries, and a soft drink. The orders arrived, but none came out correctly or at the right time. I complained and demanded my money back, which never happened. The servers were frantic, the work wasn't done properly, there were too many orders that were never filled, and unfortunately, we never got our money back.

So slow, disorganised and frankly best to be avoided

Had a hair in the coffee and a new coffee would have taken too long.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness on site is unacceptable. Tables, chairs, and seat cushions are consistently dirty with food scraps and grease stains. There are also food scraps on the floor. Although employees are present and push chairs up to the tables, no one seems to be taking care of cleaning. I don't even want to imagine what the kitchen looks like.

The slowest McDonald's in Europe. Overworked staff, orders aren't displayed on the terminal.

We ordered food there, they brought a salad that was horrible, dark and crusty, we asked to wash it, to which the lady replied that the salad was normal, the staff was not friendly

I've never experienced such pathetic management. Coffees are brought out 10 minutes before the food arrives, customers complain because it's cold, but the manager says it's finished for me. Cash payers are ignored, the store manager is slower than a Camelion, unfriendly, and slows down the employees. That was my last visit to McDoof. Disgusting how negatively McDoof has changed. As a customer, I'm at the mercy of the staff. No service, no putting off, and nothing just stupidly ignored when I, as a cash payer, stand alone at the checkout for over 15 minutes, and 3-4 employees just stand around. June 15, 2025, 10:40 a.m.

Reasonably clean McDonald's at Hannover Airport. The employee was very friendly. Food just like any other McDonald's.

Wow, I was blown away by the unfriendly staff. They either treat me badly or aren't in the mood to be there. The place seems a bit dirty.

They prepare the order very slowly. The slowest McDonald's I've ever been to. When it's not busy, you can wait 5 minutes for ice cream and cola. They often mix up the additives in ice cream. They rarely give you forks for pancakes. The food is of good quality, the guys on the counter work quickly, but the idea that the cashier is also a barista is very unfortunate. In the morning, everyone wants coffee, and while the cashier is preparing another order, there is no one to take new orders.

I had a wonderful experience in this Mcdonalds. The service was real good. The guy who served me was Jeeno Spencer Lalu. I remember him because of his wonderful service and pleasant smile.

Tasted good. There was ice in the drinks and the food was hot.

I was there today with my work colleagues. Several tables were absolutely dirty, sticky, or even covered in liquids. We ordered four identical meals, but two of them came with a 0.4 liter drink, and two with a 0.5 liter drink. We also received different portions of fries: two small, two medium – even though we ordered identical meals! The burgers were cold, the fries were soggy, and when I criticized them at the cashier, I was politely told, "It's your own fault, you don't have to eat here!" A disgrace! I honestly expected that we would all get the same drinks or even receive compensation – but nothing. Simply awful and rude service.

Ordered 12 small pancakes with TWO pistachio sauches. I got one sauce, less then 12 pancakes. And even my latte with double shot espresso was with single espresso. I had ask for a straw because they gave nothing. Since when they give less in Mcdonalds than what we paid for?!

Probably the best McDs I have visited. Clean, calm, nice atmosphere and as far as McDs goes, good food.

This McDonald’s branch is open 24/7, which is definitely a plus. There’s also a kids’ area inside the restaurant, making it family-friendly. However, one downside is that the McDonald’s itself doesn’t offer Wi-Fi for guests, and the airport Wi-Fi signal is quite poor in this area.

Very clean McDonald's, it was easy to find, we didn't wait 5 minutes for our food, the employees were all very friendly and accommodating, we'd love to come back here again..

The McDonalds restaurant itself is nicely done and clean. My food was tasty, but the nuggets were a bit weak. Unfortunately my partner's food wasn't that good, there was too much sauce so the hamburger was soggy and the milkshake was too runny. I would still recommend it here for a snack in between.

Very nice sight of the shop, I have to say. But unfortunately the quality of the café I got is terrible... it's almost transparent and I'm surprised that it has any color at all. When I asked the staff if it could be made stronger I was told that's how it should be! And only for money will you pour an “Expresso” into the “Café Crema”. There is no Café Crema in the range. So if you want to be kidding!!!!!

Phew, bad burgers. It's been a long time since I've been to McDonalds. It wasn't specifically because of this store but in general. I have to say: Burger King is simply better. The burger patties were thin and disgusting, the sauces weren't tasty, the burgers were almost cold... 😕 I just ate without thinking

The waiting time for delivery is one and a half hours. After calling the scene, I learned that the cyclist was stuck in a traffic jam. Cyclists in a traffic jam! On Sunday! This is ridiculous.

Breakfast at McDonald's is from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., but here at the airport there are their own times, from 5:00 a.m. there is no possibility of ordering anything other than breakfast items, although everywhere in the restaurant it is written in capital letters from 7:00 a.m.... that's how it should be you get smart, I don't think that's correct

Food is somehow always okay, service was okay too, but the restaurant and its visitors were a disaster. Dirty, dirty, dirty, even though there were only a maximum of 8 other guests there. Floor, tables and chairs smeared and sticky. Ugh, I wouldn't have expected it from the airport and so our holiday mood was a bit dampened before the drive home.

Me and my colleagues called this McDonald's and it went straight to voicemail. This service is extremely miserable and I recommend another.

I ordered a milkshake from McDonald’s and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The shake had a strange, sour taste and I strongly suspect that the milk had expired. This shouldn’t happen at a big company like McDonald’s! Food should always be fresh and safe. Very disappointing, won't eat here again!

I would like to share my extremely disappointing experience at the McDonald's at Hannover Airport. The condition of the restaurant was simply unacceptable: the entire area was extremely dirty, from the tables to the floor. It seemed like no one had cleaned properly for a long time. The staff, especially the shift manager, was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. It was also frightening that the shift manager hardly spoke any German and this caused significant communication problems. Overall, the visit was an absolute disaster and I cannot recommend this location under any circumstances.

This was a couple of months ago but I forgot to write a review until now: I had a really early flight and decided to eat at McDonalds to pass the time and to charge my phone as my flight wasn't until ~5am. At around 2am, I ordered and sat down to eat to help me stay awake until my flight. I'm a really slow eater (for medical reasons) and got rude stares from the employees. When I was done at around 3am I decided to just wait a bit longer until my phone was done charging. I was sitting in a corner booth. An employee approached me and told me that I can't keep staying there because I'm taking up space for other guests. Most of the other tables were free however and there was barely any people coming in or out because it was 3am. So, as to not bother them I get up and leave to stretch my legs. Around 4am I come back and buy something to drink and a small snack and sit down again for a bit longer. Not even 10 minutes later I get approached by an employee telling me I need to leave. I told them I had bought something and showed my new receipt. I got left alone for another 5 or 10 minutes when I was told that "the manager wants you to leave". Made me feel super unwelcome and unlikely to come back again. In summary: Super rude and unfriendly staff that kick out their paying customers even though it's not busy and I'm not disrupting anything. The seats are fairly comfortable with USB chargers at almost every table. The food is standard McDonalds quality. If you are a slow eater I would suggest staying away from this location or else be risked to be kicked out. If you have the time just take the train to the main station and eat at one of the few 24h restaurants there.

Slow hanging ordering equipment made the ordering process cruel. A cheeseburger was ordered. I have no idea what kind of nonsense was put in my bag. Never again!

Fries that have been more than bathed in salt, salads that are simply relabeled... The supplements mentioned are not for everyone, but that doesn't mean that those who take them can be dealt with. At lunchtime there is often production ahead, but is that in the interests of the customer? If the result is to be viewed as negative? Nevertheless, they try to attract customers to the more than clean, tidy places... In my opinion you are prioritizing in the wrong place...

Terminals don't work, long queues, staff seem disorganized, don't communicate with customers. Very weak.

We were there with a larger school class. We were welcomed very nicely by the store manager. Special requests were also addressed. Our students and staff were very enthusiastic. If we go on another trip, we would be happy to come back. The manager is really worth highlighting!

The positive thing is that the branch is open around the clock. Everything else is negative. Staff unmotivated, endlessly unfriendly, very slow (wait 30 minutes for a menu) and there are always things missing from the bag.

There is no longer any service; once you have typed your way through the order on the screen, you can then pick up the order at some point. Yes, I know, you can also have them brought to your table....... MC Rib arrived totally "mushy", Coke and Diet Coke were not marked. We should have chosen the Leberkäse roll from the Edeka across the street. Sorry, that really could be better!

It says everywhere that breakfast is at McDonalds at 7 a.m. So I don't understand why breakfast is already shown at 6:15 a.m. I'm looking forward to a burger after the night shift and then something like that.

Staff unfriendly... what was ordered wasn't right, when I pointed this out I was treated very unfriendly, even though I spoke normally and calmly with the older employees. Only after the 3rd attempt with lies that it doesn't exist and that I didn't order it that way (receipts don't lie) did I receive my order (although according to the employees it wasn't possible or it doesn't even exist) strangely enough receive.
