McDonald's in Hattingen

The service is bad, the hygiene is substandard and the food was inedible, the fries were too pale, the Big Mac was ice cold and the cheeseburger was just sticky. A seemingly new, inexperienced one. The employee was left alone and was completely overwhelmed. Conclusion: Never again McDonald's in Hattingen

It used to be simply better and more comfortable at McDonald's. It's more assembly line than Ronald McDonald.

Somehow something is always out of stock or the corresponding devices are defective at the exact moment you are there.

It has steadily improved and many of the negative comments cannot be understood. Nice employees, always quick even under stress. I have one point, more salt on fries😂 otherwise the best McDonalds west of East Germany

The restaurant deserves 5 stars just because there are clean tables! I haven't seen these at McDonald's elsewhere in a long time! Happy to come back!!!

Service and cleanliness is different. On top of that, I was repeatedly told during table service that that doesn't exist here and that there are cups here, but the coffee is always in the paper cup.

I'm Daniel and I'm still little so I'm 11 years old. Employees are very nice to me. I always buy things there and everything tastes very tasty and everything is neatly packed. There's Lidl nearby. Trinkgut nearby and there's a very great slide, all parking spaces are almost always free and very fresh food

Maybe don't make the milkshake until the rest of the order is ready. You also want to drink a milkshake and not cocoa.

Since we've been there a few times, never again!! MC is history for me. Unfriendly, unsavory, everything just sucks. Came home because I took it with me. The way the staff were, that was it food. Slapped on it, sauces were missing....no idea where I bit into it. Never again MC... what a shame

You stand in the drive forever, 30 minutes to place your order. Never again!!

Employees moderately friendly, chatting a lot instead of going to the checkout where 8 people queue for 10 minutes. In addition, something has always been forgotten with every order.

Fast, convenient and delicious. The employees are always friendly. The toilet clean. The children's playground is in need of renovation.

We were at the drive in today. Order received very friendly. We paid and were supposed to drive up a bit. Unfortunately, we weren't far enough away because we noticed how the lady and her colleague were making fun of our order. He said something like we need a fattening pig for that. The lady then said, laughing, that he should look at the next order, it would be even better. Guys, where is the respect for customers. And where is the net staff from before the summer holidays???? This is a complete disaster!!!!!!!!

247 was delivered before our meal even though we ordered with card and everyone else ordered with cash

We had nice staff at the drive-thru window last night.

Unfortunately the "chairman" always left the tables and seating pretty dirty... staff but nice and service friendly. Unfortunately the coffee is rather watery.

The food is good, ready quickly, the shop is clean and the employees are nice.

That was definitely the last time today! The price alone is a disgrace, but I would have ignored it because everything has become more expensive... (€22.33 for 4 hamburgers, 1 Big Mac and 2 medium fries) What we got in return was a bad joke. The fries were boring, the hamburgers had 1 slice of pickle on them and the most topped one had exactly 13! Mini cubes of onion. Of ketchup and mustard, if it comes up high, ½ a teaspoon each... Just as bad is the Big Mac, which no longer deserves its name today. The patties were about ½ cm smaller all around than the buns, it had 1 slice of cheese, a few strips of iceberg lettuce and about a level tablespoon of the formerly delicious sauce on one patty (the sauce used to ooze out of the burger!) But that was probably a blessing, as it only tasted sweet. You'll never see us again‼️ Never again‼️

Ordered breakfast across the board today. You can't tell based on today's order what should be hot and what should be cold. Because everything was cold.

While I want to place a large order, I am rushed and interrupted several times to pay because other customers are also waiting. Apart from the fact that the first preparation was ice cream, several things were forgotten. Just threw the burgers in the bag, as did the fries. So I would really work on staff!!!!

Worst MC I know...the counter at the drive in alone is dirty and disgusting

There is a McDonald's on the outskirts of downtown Hattingen in the southern part of the city. The staff is friendly. The parking lot and entrance are wheelchair accessible.

Good store, with quick service and clean toilets

The store was overcrowded, which in itself is a fire hazard. The staff was massively overwhelmed, there was still a table, but no chairs anywhere. When asked where the chairs were, there were only mushy answers and a tone that wasn't even suitable for stores like McDonald's. Habrn gave us our money back and went to eat somewhere else.

The shift leader is welcome to take part in another training course on the topic of friendliness towards customers. I don't have to be treated like a king but at least you can expect a please and a thank you that is spoken in complete sentences. Maybe next time

The Drive Inn doesn't work at all on Sundays 🤷🏼‍♂️ every 10 minutes a car passes by the counter 🙈 Waiting time is unreasonable ‼️ then you should drive away from the window so that the system doesn't recognize that you have to wait that long. During the time I was standing there, seven customers left. Me too later. Not recommended 🤷🏼‍♂️ I was there today at 10:36 a.m. on the holiday and wanted to order something for breakfast. I was told it didn't work anymore. The service there is terrible. And you always have to move away from the window so that no one can see how long you're standing there. Hope the operator reads this!!

More or less “typical” McD. Toilet needs to be (urgently) renovated.

Here I only ever picked up because I can't cope with the audience anymore, but that's a matter of opinion!

It's best to check immediately after receiving your order whether everything is in the bag. Items that were ordered and therefore of course also paid for are often missing. Mistakes happen, but it's still annoying.

We waited over 20 minutes for our food (4 burgers plus side dishes). This isn't fast food...

Very friendly and super fast service

The shop is clean, tables are clean I received my order completely. I've never had any problems with something missing. The employees are very friendly and processed my order very quickly.

Well, it could be healthier, but the branch is ok considering it's McDonalds. The terminals are a relief for customers and employees. Ambience, well same/same, boring. Employees are friendly here.

Really expensive food, I wanted the glow-in-the-dark glass and called specifically. I was told they had some of it when I was there and they told me they didn't have anything left.

Worst branch I've ever been to. Open until 1 a.m., at midnight we were shown the door after ordering because the employees wanted to wipe down the tables. So unfriendly and aggressive. In addition, all the burgers were cold, the fries were undercooked and the drinks only consisted of ice

The toy missing from the happy meal is mayonnaise instead of ketchup Instead of salad I got fries with the bigmac menu and the glass is also missing

20 minutes waiting time for the order, which was incomplete and packed incorrectly (packing two menus and a Happymeal correctly is extremely difficult). The outside area was very dirty, and the service person who showed up at some point wasn't really interested in a burning ashtray. It wasn't dramatic, however, as it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke around the climbing tower anyway. The food itself was ok, below average for McDonalds.

We were asked to order at the machine. The tables are greasy. One of the employees should be friendlier. This one employee ruined the entire visit.

Has it ever been better when orders on the go cannot be accepted at times? For someone who likes fast food, it is certainly an oasis.

There were three of us there today and we all ordered a mcsmart menu. When the food came to the table we were vaguely told that there were no other drinks apart from fuze tea or apple spritzer. Then we ordered 3 fuze teas and were given still water others still got soft drinks, thank you very much, we certainly won't be coming back!

This store used to be very chaotic. I've been visiting this McDonald's branch more often for over a year and I can say that so far everything is fine. A lot has probably changed. Keep it up!

Things are often forgotten when you're standing in the drive, the drive itself is narrow and old. Only when there is no other option, the conditions are usually friendly.

Once or twice a year we go to MC-Donald's with the children... Yesterday we spontaneously went to MCD in Hattingen. The service really left me speechless. All the tables were dirty, although there really wasn't much crowd, some orders were wrong and the burgers were rather lukewarm. When we asked politely whether the service could clean the tables, we were literally attacked by an employee, with the words typical Germans, they make everything dirty and others have to clean it up, the employee literally shouted at us. We hadn't even eaten anything yet, people don't like sitting at tables like that. The food was brought to the tables, but rather thrown away. Not just with us. No bon appetit, nothing. I've never experienced anything like that and it really left me speechless. If you don't enjoy the job, you should leave it alone. Sorry...

Food was mediocre. Burger put together carelessly. Long waiting time. Tables and benches not clean.

Ordered Mc Plant, received burger with meat in McPlant packaging. Absolute no-go.

Rarely experienced, ordered 20 nuggets as chicken and got mixed (chicken and vegetarian) Update 01/25/24: Mc Rip was returned, it was inedible, the meat was old/hard. Hygiene: see Picture.

Nothing going on in the restaurant, but you can't manage to clean the tables, which only happened reluctantly after being asked. The tablet trolleys were full to capacity, but there was no reaction from the staff either.

Ich hab mir um 1uhr oder so einen Burger geholt der war auch ganz ok, aber danach hatte ich irgendeinen Margendarm Infekt.

Jedes Mal wenn ich hier bin werden die langsamer, in den mcdrive zu fahren macht auch keinen Sinn da steht man ewig und bevor man fertig ist ist der Tank leer.

Essen, McDonald halt. Leider ist das Ambiente gerade im Aussenbereich nicht mehr das beste, ist die Jahre gekommen.

Ich war dort am Morgen als sie grade aufgemacht hatten. Er war sauber und ich wurde sehr schnell und gut bedient.

Hatte Hunger auf Burger. War aber nicht besonders.

Sehr schneller Service. Burger sehen auch gut aus und werden so wie ich das sagen kann frisch zubereitet und liegen nicht wie bei anderen McDonalds platt in irgendeiner Ablage. Empfehlenswert 👍 🍔

Es gibt kaum einen McDonald's, bei dem man sowohl innen als auch im Drive In so lange wartet wie hier...

Saubere Toiletten, freundliches Personal und guter Standort. Auch die Bestellung wurde sehr schnell vorbereitet.

Mc Donald's ist einfach unerträglich teuer geworden. Double Big Mac 6.49 Eur. Pappig.. Weniger Soße als Früher... Das burger brötchen... Wie ein nasser Toast. Sehr enttäuschend.

Dieser McDonalds gehört schon zu den besseren seiner Art. Die Burger sind frisch und die Pommes meistens auch mal gesalzen. Die Freundlichkeit lässt manchmal zu wünschen übrig. Aber stört mich weniger. Ich möchte leckere Burger essen und nicht das Personal heiraten 😀

McDonalds eben, was will man mehr sagen - man muss es eben mögen. Zu den Stoßzeiten muss man mit etwas Wartezeit rechnen.

Es war Freitag Abend und fast alles ausverkauft und es gab keine Mayo. Ich dachte Herr Wallraff war bei Burger King?!? 2 Sterne, weil ich tatsächlich noch 2 Cheesys ergattern konnte. Da waren so viele Kunden, ihr scheint die Kohle wohl nicht zu benötigen 🤷🏻‍♀️

Personal teilweise unfreundlich und patzig. Immer wieder fehlen bestellte Sachen oder es wird fehlerhaft berechnet. Terminals funktionieren schlecht, Touch reagiert nicht oder bricht ab.

Gut gelegen auch Sitzgelegenheiten draußen
