A disaster. I've never seen such a poorly organized McDonald's. The wait was endless, certain items were missing, and it was cold, too.

Where's my food?! I ordered a Happy Metal, and all I got was a fried egg and a Capri-Sun. I want my money back! That's unacceptable, and when I called, no one answered. Bad

I've visited several times. Each time I had to wait an extremely long time for my food. Once, it even took more than 30 minutes. And once my order was forgotten. The staff was rude and unhelpful. Stay well away from this place.

Unfortunately, the McDonald's is no longer the same as it used to be. 1. Ketchup is stuck to the walls, decorated with dead animals. Packaging waste and dirt are everywhere. 2. The floor is completely dirty and sticky. 3. We're sitting at the table, and behind us, disinfectant is sprayed. Everything is drawn towards us. The "disinfected" table was just as dirty afterwards. 4. The spoons we were given for our coffee were unfortunately also dirty. It doesn't cost much to at least keep used tables tidy. Once and never again.

I would like to draw attention to a problem at your restaurant. Ingredients (cookies) were added to my dessert that I was not informed about and that were not listed on the receipt. This is absolutely unacceptable – after all, someone could have an allergy. Who takes responsibility in such a case? When I asked for a replacement, I received a rude and mocking response, stating that it was a "free addition." This is not how you should treat guests. No one is obligated to accept unwanted "surprises" in their food. In the end, I had to throw away the ice cream – the cookie pieces were very unpleasant for my teeth and made the dessert inedible. This is truly unwise and ruined the entire visit. I urge you to clearly label all additives in the future and treat customers with respect.

Standard food, long waiting times, questionable level of cleanliness.

Got cold food. Every corner is dirty, simply disgusting. Tables, chairs... power outlets... wow! I don't understand this kind of operation. Is the operator blind in his first eye? With the second eye, you can see more... I was there on Friday, August 29, 2025, around 4:45 p.m. Never again... I've had enough of this dump.

Poorly managed branch. The drive-thru is slow; I once had to wait 10 minutes. And the tray racks in the restaurant aren't cleaned. When I took these pictures, it really wasn't busy.

Got one burger too few. I was there for the first time in a long time, and went through the McDonald's drive-thru. I waited about 13 minutes for two double cheeses. First in line, then at the parking spot in front. And, what a surprise, this time they packed me an extra burger, even though I didn't order it 😀. I have to say, though. The employees are trying hard, but they're completely overwhelmed. I don't think you can blame the employee, but you can definitely blame the company. I will avoid McDonald's in the future for this reason.

For 14 months, something has been missing from my order, and for the last two months, it's been really extreme, with waiting times of over 20 minutes even though nothing's happening! Yesterday, three Hppymeal toys were missing again, as well as fries and a burger! If you complain to the head office, it takes a month to fix the damage.

McDonald's in an industrial park: Advantage: We were able to conveniently park our caravan nearby at night. It seemed clean, although busy.

The worst McDonald's I've ever visited. I waited 35 minutes for five cheeseburgers. The drive-thru was packed, all the way out to the main road and inside, too. This is definitely not fast food; you need to allow more time, like you would if you were eating at a restaurant. I will never order takeaway from here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The walk to the nearest McDonald's is much more relaxing.

Today in the McDonald's drive-thru I was shouted at by a nice man who didn't speak German after I had stated three times that I didn't care which sauce I wanted with my lattice potatoes. He said he couldn't enter "it doesn't matter". At the counter there was a rude lady who took a photo of me and my company car and told me she would now call my boss and tell him how rude I was. She also said it was an insult to say that I didn't care which sauce I wanted. She had overheard the whole conversation and that I was a stupid German. I then drove on after this rude lady didn't want to speak to my boss, whom I had called in the meantime. This shows once again where we stand.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant visit with the family. The store wasn't particularly clean; in fact, the floor and tables were sticky, and that was at 11 a.m. Furthermore, our little one was denied a baby coffee (milk with foam) on the grounds that it wouldn't work. I think it's a shame that a latte macchiato without coffee is okay. Until now, we've always had the option of getting a baby coffee, even at the Stuttgart airport.

Fries were completely cold. Drinks were served in a disposable cup instead of a reusable cup (deposit paid).

I went to McDonald's with my girlfriend after a long break. I would understand if they forgot something once, but a second time is too much for me. They called my number and forgot half of my things! They only packed my two things, and that was it. Everything else was forgotten!

Orders are often incorrect. During sales, special offers are usually unavailable, and the most annoying issue, which McDonald's can't do anything about, is the packaging tax on takeout orders.

The cappuccino was fluffy and frothy, just as it should be. Together with the flavorful biscuit, the two formed a fantastic symbiosis. Unfortunately, we had to wait a full 15 minutes for our latte macchiato – but there was no barista skill involved. That weighs heavily.

Employees don't speak German, machines don't work, chaotic

On a single visit yesterday: the menu arrived without the fries. The child's toy was an old Smurf (now they advertise and display squashmallow). Iced matcha latte came warm, with 3 cubes of ice, making it at the end a lukewarm monstrosity. It also came with nothing to mix and no straw. At the end they didn't want to return the money for one of the reusable cups, because "this drink we do not serve in a reusable". I had to find the receipt to show them that they actually charged 2€. All in all, nothing was done as it should.

13% packaging tax if you take your food out! McDonalds probably can't do anything about that, but I certainly won't be coming back.

Not sure if the renovation of this restaurant made things more efficient. Seams that I always need to wait longer now than before. Looks good inside and fresh. Not always good that you don't see what is going on behind the counter. Will be back . BTW where is the chocolate milkshake? Bring it back soon again.

Very poor service. I waited almost 1:30 hours. I placed an order for €30. Of course, the ice cream came first. Then it melted. I'm really disappointed.

I waited 40 minutes for a set meal, and others who only ordered ice cream also had to wait 10 minutes. The efficiency is too low. I never want to come here again!

Great place, but it's absolutely outrageous that the city charges fees for packaging. This causes immense damage to the retail industry. I won't be buying anything in Tübingen anymore. I think it's a real shame how politics is ruining everything.

Dear German-speaking people! I'm reluctant to leave a review for McDonald's, but even more so, I'm reluctant to read the numerous complaints about employees who apparently don't speak German. Since I speak German well, I've always managed to find phrases that were understood. Maybe they could just be a bit more flexible, speak slowly, and make a bit of an effort themselves. Otherwise, all I can think of is: do the job themselves! Why do (at least according to some reviews) only people who don't speak German work there? Because those who do are too refined for it. I hardly know any other European country where people insist so vehemently on "their" language. What's it like when you're on vacation? Do you also speak the local language, or do you expect the locals to speak some English or even German? Of course, there's a difference between vacation and work. But this isn't about investment advice. If people with a language barrier don't work, it's not a good fit. If they have jobs, it's not a good fit either. I believe that if both sides want to, an agreement can be reached.

Waited over 30 minutes for six nuggets. They arrived cold and with the wrong sauce. Absolutely unacceptable.

After renovations it got so much worse. You may wait more than 30 min before you get your food. No number panel so you need to wait to be called. And so few crews. What a nonsense

McDonald's is a must once a month – but THAT was the absolute lowest point! I go to McDonald's maybe once a month, simply because sometimes I have to – but I've never experienced anything this bad! The service was a disgrace. The employees were completely overwhelmed, could barely speak German, and were disrespectful in their interactions with the customers. The store manager? Wasn't there. No one to talk to, no one with an overview. We waited far too long for the food – and when it arrived, it was cold, cooked incorrectly, and the fries were rock-hard and at least 20 minutes old. After the second attempt, we complained – the third time, we just gave up. The employee's cheeky response: "Don't make such a fuss." – are you serious?! The restrooms? A complete disaster – filthy, unkempt, and absolutely unacceptable. The tables were all dirty, and there was nowhere to sit because no one was cleaning, even though there were plenty of seats available. The team just stood around, no one felt responsible. This level of behavior is disgraceful for a global brand like McDonald's. I'm truly disappointed and will definitely never set foot in this branch again. An absolute disaster.

On the way to a doctor's appointment, I traditionally stopped there. What's different about this McDonald's (since the remodel) is that there's no display showing the order numbers for the finished and in-preparation items. This means the price has effectively almost doubled, and it's no longer worth a visit when the coupon was €7 = 2x McPlant, but today it's only available individually for €5.99.

I was there yesterday afternoon shortly before 5:00 PM and ordered a latte macchiato and a cheeseburger on the screen because I actually just wanted to use the restroom quickly and felt it was unfair to do so without eating. However, after waiting more than 10 minutes in a so-called "fast" food restaurant, I still hadn't been served. I complained briefly, after which a cheeseburger was placed on my tray (apparently to cool it down) and then no one brought me a coffee. I took the cheeseburger and left without a coffee. Thanks for nothing, McDonald's!

Totally dissatisfied!! Had a sign with a number where the food was brought to the table. After 30 minutes of waiting, we picked up our food ourselves, which had only just been prepared at that point. Guests who arrived after us received their food before us. Additionally, the food was cold.

I ordered with my girlfriend and waited over 50 minutes for our order. I ordered 2 burgers, with fries and Sprite and chicken nuggets and the Minecraft McFlurry. The citizens were dry, the fries were soggy and cold, the chicken nuggets weren't crispy. Instead of Sprite we just got Coke. The McFlurry was completely wrong, we just got chocolate without anything. All in all a pretty bad experience

The restaurant is the most disgusting food area I have ever seen. Dirty tables, dirty floors, dirty toilets and after looking into the kitchen I didn't want to eat anymore. It's a surprise to me that this McDonald's hasn't been shut down by the health department yet or that people haven't had to be picked up by an ambulance after eating there. New regulation: When taking away from a restaurant: €2.22 as packaging tax on top for a menu of €5.99, that's an additional 36%, so a total of €8.21. If you take it with you in McDrive: €0 packaging tax.

The restaurant is as inconspicuous and good/tasty as a McDonalds should be. Very good. But: the app didn't work on site when the order was sent. Probably due to the app, but it works in other locations. The Tübingen packaging tax put me off. I don't have the desire and don't have too much money to support political mismanagement. The restaurant can't help it, but I skipped dessert because I didn't want to pay this special tax. The same thing happened to other young visitors when I was there. You can only spend money once. Bad for business.

TV does not work or is off for queue tracking and I see it for the first time. Extra fee is requested for packaging. It is ridiculous. It is just a money trap. It gets worse every day. I do not eat from here anymore. It is more logical to eat döner.

A classic McDonald's. I always found it clean, the staff was friendly and did their job. All the food was always available and fresh. I can't say anything negative.

Inflexible since today, they don't want to mix Coke with Fanta. No problem so far. Now service desert!
