Laf Laf in Tübingen

Seating inside and outside is good. Ordering was quick. We had four chicken doner kebabs. They tasted good. Unfortunately, there was too little meat in the bread. The first few bites left more salad in my mouth than meat. Even my 14-year-old child wasn't satisfied. Price: €7.50

Two stars – completely overpriced for what's on offer The portion was truly disappointing: a bit of salad and a few falafel – all for a whopping €9. The taste was okay, but absolutely not worth the price. I had hoped for much more. Unfortunately, the value for money isn't really worth it. They pretend to be hip and oriental, but in the end, it's still a rip-off.

Such a shame... 6 years ago Laf Laf was ultra tasty and inexpensive... Bottomless these days: I ate a Crispy Chicken Bowl last week, unfortunately very little meat and only salad, to be honest a cheek for €14, it wasn't tasty as it was 80% iceberg lettuce and I wasn't full either. Never again.

Absolutely disappointing. I ordered food today and according to the app, delivery should take 35 to 55 minutes. It arrived after an hour and a half. After an hour I called for the first time, no clear answer, just the information that it would come “in 15 minutes”. After 15 minutes: nothing. Second call again just empty promises: “The driver will be right there”, “right there”, “right there” the same thing every time. On the third call I was told: If the food isn't there in five minutes, I don't have to pay for it. Clear sentence. After this statement, the supplier arrived even more late. I asked him straight away and said I wouldn't pay for the meal. His reaction: slightly aggressive, dismissive, and he claims that something like that couldn't have been said and that I have to pay. I called the store again and suddenly the employee denied everything and simply hung up on me in a disrespectful manner. No sorry, no solution, just ignorance. And as if that wasn't enough, the delivery note also had a completely wrong time entered, simply an hour later than the actual order was placed. When I brought this up, they suddenly said it was because of “traffic,” but 90 minutes is just too much. Then you shouldn’t keep saying that the food is “right there”. Conclusion: No honesty, no communication, no customer service. But delay, excuses and impudence. Never again.

I was here for the first time yesterday and thought it was great. The people were super nice and the food was fresh and tasted great.

Very tasty food, fresh made. They offered us the “salmon döner”, only presented once a year - nice story ;) But it was really great!!; strongly recommended!! The atmosphere was quite standard. Nice but nothing special. But the food is worth it :)

Today was the first time in my life at Laflaf and I was a little biased at first, but when I tried the falafel doner I melted like a piece of chocolate in the sauna. It tastes very good, the people are friendly and the prices are not only low but you also get a decent portion! If you are still undecided, I hope I was able to help you make your decision!

2 Hours delivery time for the second time …very bad service. The food tastes good though.

Food was ready for pickup at the specified time. We had shwawarma twice, crispy chicken and hummus. Everything tasted very tasty. The hummus was the best we have ever eaten. We were completely satisfied and will be ordering regularly from now on!

I got an Italy Style Kebab to take away which was really delicious. The bread was soft and fluffy, the falafel was nice and crispy and I especially enjoyed the tabbouleh salad with mint. The kebab was freshly prepared in front of me and the owner was extremely personable. I'd love to come back to try a Yufka! 🧆 But be careful, spicy means really spicy, you have to be careful.

I wanted to give the snack bar a second chance. But unfortunately still unfriendly, disinterested staff. You have to wait at least an hour and a half until your shawarma comes, even when you ask you are ignored and almost shouted at. Unfortunately, the price ratio does not match the quality. Five years ago the Laflaf was incredibly tasty - today: small rations, moderately seasoned, expensive, poor service. A portion of falafel with salad (green/tomato) and sauce for 10 euros, bread is available upon request but in a very bad mood. I recently visited Laf Laf and absolutely loved it! From the first moment you felt welcome here. The atmosphere is cozy. The service was excellent: the staff was friendly, attentive and extremely professional! The food was simply delicious! The menu offers a great selection of options for both vegetarians and vegans. The chicken bowl with homemade garlic sauce is particularly recommended. Laf Laf really highly recommended!

And it gets even better: After I contacted the store to ask for my money back, they told me it couldn't be theirs. No one responded to my second email and I still haven't gotten my money back! I ate at Laflaf for the first time today. I got a mega offer from the very nice employee who recommended Chicken Chese Shawarna to me. I didn't know that and he said that it was an Arabic specialty. I have rarely eaten something in my life that blew me away in terms of taste. I'll definitely come back... can only be recommended!

The staff didn't seem very service oriented and lacked attention to customer satisfaction. The food was OK, but the atmosphere was marred by it. A visit to a restaurant should be a holistic experience in which not only the food, but also the service and the ambience are right.

Really wondered why I never go here in person. Service is already bad and with an empty shop, I had to wait 35 minutes for my shawarma to arrive. With Uber Eats it takes about 15 minutes for the food to arrive. What's going on there

I had a shawarma and thought it tasted excellent. Unfortunately, the shawarma always seems a little small to me compared to the Turkish version Lahmacun and is therefore disadvantaged in terms of price-performance ratio (even though supposedly cheap potatoes are also used). Although, this is more of a general question, not a LafLaf question. As I said, extremely tasty. In our opinion, the salad we also had (Garden Bowl) had too much cheese and too many peanuts, almonds and cashews, so the lightness of the salad was lost a little. We will definitely eat there again because the flavors were very exciting. See you soon.

Was there for the first visit today. I ordered and sat outside. After 25 minutes I asked inside where my food was. First of all, communication was very poor because of the 6 men behind the counter, none of them really spoke German. Loud strange music screamed in the background that you couldn't understand your own words. Then the information came that there was no more falafel and he had to make it again. Ok, then I waited again and then the falafel kebab came. The taste is very good, but unfortunately a bit dry. I ran in and wanted some hummus or sauce. Again, hardly anyone understood me and I tried with my hands and feet to explain. Then I finally got some hummus for an extra €5. Yes, that was it for me. First the long waiting time, then being so unfriendly and arrogant and in the end charging me €5 because I couldn't get the fart-dry thing down. No, unfortunately this will be the last time for me at Laf Laf. There are better alternatives in Tübingen.

When ordering, they just hand you a number without telling you anything, so you don't even know if you got the order right and how long you will have to wait. We waited quite long and during the hole experience, the guy working just seemed to hate his job and every single customer, which puts you in quite the akward situation...

Edit: Just before 6:30 p.m. we ordered food today via Lieferando, unfortunately the app doesn't have the entire menu selection that is available on site, according to the app it should take up to 45 minutes for the food to arrive, everything is ok at first. Shortly after ordering, the message came that the order wouldn't arrive until around 8 p.m.... yay... When the time came after a long wait, unfortunately nothing arrived, the app still marked the order as delivered sometime around 8:15 p.m.(?) Shortly afterwards the delivery person called and said he was at the wrong number. A short time later he called again and was in a completely different part of town and somehow couldn't find us, so we had to send him our live location via WhatsApp. When he finally arrived at around 8:45 p.m. he actually showed us that Google Maps on his cell phone had actually shown our address somewhere else where it wasn't actually located, so that was an honest technical error on his part, perhaps we can be forgiven for the detour even just 10-15 minutes. The food also arrived warm, which is probably why it wasn't due to the delivery why the whole thing took over 2 hours. I completely understand if there might have been a lot of activity there that evening, especially at Iftar time, but over 2 hours for a food delivery without some kind of compensation is really unbearable. I really appreciate the delicious food, but unfortunately I will never be able to order from Laf Laf again after this.

I ate there so often and so much. Today I was there and bought a bowl. When I ate it, I found a snail in there. Doesn't exactly mean that the salad was washed well and clean. Very disgusting and unfortunate.

We waited for our order for some time. Since we were the only clients in the restaurant (with the exception of a couple who had already been served) I got up to see what was happening with our dishes. I found the waiters eating, spreading their hands on the sauces on top of our own unfinished plates. Not the prettiest picture to see. However, the falafels were excellent (maybe the tastiest I've ever eaten). The kebab, although tasty, could have been more crispy.

Huge portion, super delicious food and very fast service

War hier früher regelmäßig, war lecker. Dann hat die Qualität stark abgebaut, weniger frisch, weniger appetitlich. Auch der Service war weniger freundlich als zu Anfang. Dann nach einer längeren Pause heute mal wieder eine Chance gegeben, aber die Qualität hat dauerhaft abgebaut. Leider nicht mehr zu empfehlen.

Nur höchstens durchschnittlich. Mehr Freundlichkeit würde dem Laden gut zu Gesicht stehen. Essen nichts besonderes.

Hammer Chili Cheese Döner mit Granatapfel, Geschmacksexplosion/Extase ! Vielleicht die besten Pommes die je gegessen habe, knusprig, gut gewürzt, müssen selbst gemacht sein... Auch die Falaffeln Mega! Nur zu empfehlen!!
