McDonald's in Neustadt an der Weinstraße

I'm usually very satisfied with this branch, but today I was extremely disappointed. I got in line at the drive-thru at 12:22 AM on November 9th, 2025, and it wasn't until 1:02 AM that I finally got my food. I think that's far from "fast" food.

The website says it's open until 1:00 AM. When I arrived at 12:40 PM, the store was already closed. I drove 40 minutes specifically for that.

At the last minute I thought the food would arrive cold! But it was of high quality and the service was good.

I haven't been satisfied with the taste of several burgers for quite some time now. I also haven't liked the nuggets for a while. The fries, however, are very tasty!

Apparently, online orders aren't possible and the money will be refunded – I'm curious to see how that goes... At the checkout, you can't order meals, only individual items. Seriously????

The quality of service has deteriorated over the past few weeks. Everything runs very slowly, even when things aren't busy, and most orders are incorrect, faulty, or defective. Has there been a change in management?

It's always the same, they always forget something in my order and when you're 15 km away you don't feel like coming back.

It is really not nice to eat here anymore, the whole burger looks like it has been eaten before. The staff are unfriendly and say that this is normal.

In my opinion, it's now disproportionately expensive. When we order food to our home via Lieferando, it's simply cheaper, even though it's delivered and, in most cases, the food is of better quality.

I was just at McDrive. But they used to say something like, "Hello, here you go, enjoy your meal, bye." Now they just hand you a bag.

Nobody wanted to bring me a Coke, even though I got an iced tea and it was wrong.

One of the few truly good McDonald's branches. Very clean, very attentive, very polite service, the ambiance is always lovingly designed and decorated. And most importantly: the food always arrives fresh and hot. You could hardly ask for more from a fast-food restaurant from this chain.

Dear staff, Friendliness works everywhere. It's no wonder people only use the McDrive; you want to escape this atmosphere as quickly as possible.

Not recommended! The burgers were thrown into a bag half-wrapped. The fries were extremely soggy. Anything but fresh.

The M Burger had bacon inside. The meat also looked very strange.

Today I bought two cheeseburgers to take home at the counter. The lady (possibly a higher-up) was very rude and snarky. She didn't even put a napkin in the bag! That's what you'd expect. This place isn't what it was 6 years ago.

I would love to give the service 0 stars if I could. We picked something up (inside) at 12:10 AM today and ordered it via the app. WE were missing 2 whole burgers from a €60 ORDER!!! Of course, we only noticed this at home. With such an expensive order, this SHOULDN'T happen. We were missing ONE whole bag. The staff should be more careful. It really takes away the desire to eat there. I would have loved to go back, since we're talking about about 1/6 of the entire order. What's MISSING!!!??? That aside, the ice cream has been very bad for some time now and is more like a tasteless, semi-liquid soft serve. The burgers were too cold for that, but they were okay. Lifeless but edible. The fries were delicious. Conclusion: Working so carelessly with an order like that, forgetting things, and making the food so bad. In the past (almost a year ago), McDonald's was a treat that was reliable and tasty. After this incident, I'm thinking twice about visiting the store again. It's not necessarily a shame, but unfortunately, it's not a good thing.

We always stop here for a café after a long drive. The cappuccino is excellent.

The worst "service" you can ever get, we have been there several times now, ordered table service and it was always announced, and if you don't hear it because you don't expect it, the food just stays at the front and gets cold if you don't even ask

I was there earlier and wanted to try the new things. I ordered a Philly Cheese Stack, shaker fries, and 9 garlic chicken nuggets. I paid, waited for the food, and unfortunately left without checking to see if they were putting in everything I wanted. I drove away, and then when I wanted to eat: The burger was good, but the rest was a complete rip-off. Instead of shaker fries, they stuffed me with regular fries, and with the garlic chicken nuggets I ordered, they gave me the same thing—regular ones. I'm paying for something I didn't even get. If I pay for something, I want what I ordered and nothing else. Absolutely outrageous.

Shift management was completely disrespectful just because the store was full and they wanted to change something.

Fish mac very dry Chicken burger very dry We were disappointed today. Even though everything has gotten more expensive, quality has to suffer. Or service. My daughter and I both thought it had been reheated before, because that's what they tasted like. Very hard around the edges. It used to be much better. Maybe a tip for the boss. Get more control over his workers. From what I saw, the fries were lukewarm.

This McDonald's is very clean and well-maintained. The employees are usually friendly. But sometimes they're stressed, which is understandable. There's not much to say about the food. If you like McDonald's, the food is great and always hot.

I go there regularly, especially after work, when I need something in a hurry. However, I'm increasingly noticing that something is missing, like fries. Or like today, I ordered two McDoubles for 20-piece nuggets and then realized at home that they were just two regular cheeseburgers wrapped in McDouble paper! This is getting pretty cheeky! Should I disassemble the burgers at the drive-thru in the future before I get home and realize I've been ripped off again?! There's a lot going wrong at this branch right now, and unfortunately, I'm not used to it!

Unfortunately, you have to wait far too long for your order. When you ask if your food might have gone under, you just get a cheeky reply that you should wait. Unfortunately, it's very disappointing. And definitely not for someone who is short on time.

The McDonald's is clean, and the employees are friendly. It seems quite small inside, but it's actually quite spacious. The exterior could be a bit cleaner, but otherwise, there's nothing to complain about. It's McDonald's, after all.

Not recommended. The waitress gives rude answers and seems disinterested in what she's doing. Very unprofessional. So, off to Burger King.

I ordered a McFlurry and felt like I only got half of it. What I held in my hand instead was more like a McSundae—but at a significantly higher McFlurry price. This shouldn't happen. If I pay full price, I expect the full portion. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately, things are increasingly forgotten. People often pack PlantBase instead of meat. Sometimes the food isn't really freshly prepared.

Cash only today, and two more fries. It's not the first time I've forgotten... Burger King is simply putting more effort into this.

The door was closed in our faces an hour before closing time! Original soundbite: The technician will be here soon. And when I asked my sister to at least let her use the restroom, the woman got loud and said: "This place is closed now!" Really nasty! We're never going into that store again.

Today the McDonald's app didn't work properly and I wanted a coupon menu... at 12:46 at the drive-thru it said I should go to Burger King, that's where the app works 🤣🤣🤣 rude but kind of funny, I bought something anyway but next time I'll eat something at BK, I had completely forgotten that we have one in Neustadt 🤤🤤🤤 I haven't had a Whopper in ages

We had to wait a long time for our food. When we ordered at the table, we were called to pick it up. On top of that, the staff was very unfriendly. Burgers were cold and the crust was sticky!

The tables were very dirty, the food was already cold and not cooked through. The food wasn't brought to the table but simply placed at the front without calling the number or saying anything. Worst McDonald's in the region.

Despite the full restaurant, you can really describe this MC as a FAST food chain.👌

Same food as every other McDonalds but the staff in this one is really friendly and pleasant. At the moment you can get an free Coca Cola glass at every Mc Menu so take your change The restaurant looks like the most of its kind, and the parking is a bit unclear

The best Meggi we've been to so far was a transit trip, with two children, fresh food, very nice staff, nice interior, above all it was full for a short time but no stress and well organized, we complained about the wrong toys in the Happy Meal and the response was super nice, not annoyed as usual, only the parking lot and entrance were not for beginner drivers or large vehicles

I was here recently and I think the Neustadt an der Weinstraße branch is one of the better branches. Everything went quickly, freshly prepared and attentive. Much better than some other branches.

I agree with some of the previous speakers. Parking is an absolute rip off. Especially in an industrial area where there are enough free parking spaces outside and the risk of customers staying away because they can't find a parking space is absolutely low. I can understand it in inner cities if there are problems with third-party parkers. Here it is pure rip-off and an impudence. Successfully prevents me from being a customer here again. 55€ because I spent my time with you with friends and we left enough money with you? For the parking money (and store expenses) I could have eaten so much better. Thanks for the teaching. By the way, when another affected person asked, there was no response - only one: that's just the way it is. Yes - ciao (on the day itself the service was great)

Never again, last week was the last time I ate at McDonald's, I got food poisoning, my son and my husband also stayed in the hospital for 3 days, and I'm pregnant, also a really bad experience, just be careful where you eat.

The food is as usual at any McDonald's, but what's better than in Landau is that all the coupons are delivered. Disadvantage: So far, 60% of orders at the Drive-In have always been missing something: whether it's toys, side dishes, or burgers... So always, always check your order after receiving it.

I love dogs, but I personally find it really unappealing that dogs are allowed into the store. It's perfectly fine on the outside, but on the inside, sorry, it's completely unacceptable.

The McDonald's I was in anyway, I don't know what they do better there, but it tastes much better than anywhere else.

Too many visitors and the children keep jumping around the restaurant like they are on the playground, and it gets annoying after a while.

I visit one of the stores every few years and am always upset. You can tell that you no longer want to order in person. A selection is no longer possible because the display changes every few seconds. And German is rarely spoken anymore, so misunderstandings always arise. Too bad...

It was busy and the staff was therefore completely overworked. Online ordering and collection did not work, even though I had paid with PayPal, I had to pay again on the spot. The staff was beyond unfriendly, made mistakes and snapped at customers when they pointed them out. 30 minutes from order to food, Fast Food is no longer possible here. We will never go to this McDonalds again!

Als wir Bei McD in NW zum Mittagessen waren fiel uns ein Mann auf der beim Rundgang durch das Restaurant viele Gäste begrüßte und auch uns zunickte, anschließend begrüßte es seine Mitarbeiter. Wie sich später heraus stellte war es der Pächter des McD. Das Essen war gut, der Service war gut, wir kommen gerne wieder.

It's more than a shame that there is no breakfast menu for children. Even if you ask if you can get juice instead of coffee, you will be told no. It's a shame and especially the child is disappointed. Breakfast not recommended with children. Now I have to wait 45 minutes for my child to get a HappyMeal with Capri Sun. So much for children being important.

The food in this Mc's is very good and tasty. Mc's is easy to reach by car and includes an mc'drive. The employees are nice, they even deliver the food to your place (most of the time). But if you get there between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., literally all hell breaks loose 🎟️, a lot of people. You then have to wait a long time until you can order and until the food is ready is. At MC'Drive you will always be taken for a ride no matter what you take, e.g. you order sauce 1 but get sauce 3? The food on offer is bad, it's not tasty to eat there. It used to be definitely better, now everything isn't clean and there are some strange people there too, so you don't feel like being there with your children.

The food is well known and proven MC quality. What was particularly special about this restaurant was the cleanliness and the fast and friendly service. Order was completely served at the table. There are also enough free customer parking spaces on site for 2 hours. That's definitely enough. Gladly again. Clear recommendation.

€55 fine for being there too long. What a rip off. Coffee, food, service are all ok, but when something like that comes in the mail after two weeks, you don't feel like going to McDonald's anymore.

We've been there several times in the evening (between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.) and you can only order to take away. If all hell broke loose, you could understand it, but the employees hang around in the back and have a few chats. McDrive there is just as big a disaster. You order via app, the employees don't understand the code and then they can't spell it either. Then the order was correctly placed at the window. And then you get ripped off... Instead of another burger ordered, 8 were ordered!!! Mayo packs of the same value simply packed into the bag. It may just be a fast food joint, but can still show some competence and work ethic.

First a burger was missing and next time the fries you might think that forgetting products was the order of the day. The last time I made my burgers 🍔 even they taste even better

So the opening times say open until 1 a.m. and we were told that they would close at 12 a.m. and that we should leave the restaurant while we were eating! The employee sat at the table in front of us and waited until we got up! Simply an impudence!

I wanted to have breakfast at McDonald's again after years - I haven't lived in the area for 15 years. It's not haute cuisine - that's not the expectation either. But what you can now get there at exorbitant prices is just disappointing. Coffee dull and bitter, no croissants, scrambled eggs cold and tasteless, two half cold rubbery bacon strips, the roll halves were burnt on one side and otherwise cold and also rubbery. Not crispy and warm or anything 😅 I didn't feel like trying the cookie anymore. Left everything behind. Then I went to the Liebenstein bakery and had a delicious breakfast and drank good coffee. For almost the same money I still have bread for tonight.

A McDonald's like any other. Everything was ok so far. Staff very friendly and helpful. I'll stop by there again.

Large location, very easy to reach by car, with drive-in and plenty of parking spaces, unfortunately no dedicated pedestrian path, so you have to walk a bit on the road. McCoffee available, larger children's playground outside. Food is brought to the table and you can order at a terminal using a payment card.

Coffee on Sunday at Speck&Ei. Okay :-) But only between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.
