McDonald's in Fehmarn

The ice cream isn't "tapped" fresh from the machine like everywhere else, but comes ready-made from the refrigerator and tastes as if it's already thawed. It also has a yellow tinge, which might even be hazardous to your health. Hopefully, the health department will take a look. It's inedible! This wasn't the first time, by the way; there's a system here.

Typical McDonald's, I ate my double rib here. It was once again super juicy and simply delicious.

We ordered chocolate ice cream, but got vanilla ice cream. It's not as if the toppings were swapped; the basic ingredients for the dish were wrong in two ice creams. Furthermore, the garbage in the carts wasn't cleaned up, which led to chaos and a less than appetizing appearance.

Very friendly staff, but also a bit distracted. The food was good, even if it wasn't what we ordered. The restrooms 🚽 and sink area weren't clean.

The staff were very friendly and even accommodating. The burgers were very fresh, and they didn't skimp on the ingredients. Everything was kept very clean and tidy. The staff enjoy chatting with guests and even recommending other options. What they do here is truly extraordinary. Highly recommended!

I caught a severe stomach bug there. The toilet was just as sticky as the table, which was politely cleaned upon request. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough!

A typical McDonald's, like the thousands you'll find anywhere else. Ordering went smoothly, and the food itself felt like any other McDonald's. The restaurant also made a good, reasonable impression. However, the cleanliness of the restrooms desperately needs work; it was completely out of order...

We were there with the kids today. The three of us wanted to order MC Fleury ice cream, but this wasn't possible because the ice cream machine was broken again. Strangely, you could order the limited-time Mango Boba MC Fleury. Nevertheless, we ordered ice cream, which became an MC Sundae. We ordered it, paid, and immediately after paying, we were told that the MC Fleury machine was working again. When we asked if we could change the order for a surcharge, the employee told us, quote: "No! You paid, so it's not possible, you have to get the other ice cream! Ice cream is ice cream!" We won't be visiting this branch on Fehmarn Burg again; I'd rather drive a few kilometers further than get something on Fehmarn again.

McDonald's is McDonald's, however, you order it and that's it, nothing more needs to be said 😁

I visited this McDonald’s and it was honestly the best one I’ve ever been to! I ordered a Philly cheesesteak burger and it was absolutely delicious—by far the best burger I’ve had at McDonald’s. The prices were reasonable, I paid €10 for the burger, fries, and a drink. The staff were also very friendly, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

Picked up food from MacDrive today. The employee was unfriendly when I ordered, and they removed a sauce I didn't order upon request. The Coke was supposed to be without ice cubes, but they were there when it was served. The lid on the Coke wasn't closed properly, so I spilled it on my car seat. Straws are only available upon request. So, the service at McDonald's could be better, too.

We've been there twice now on vacation and picked up food. Unfortunately, something was forgotten each time. The first time, it was the toy in the Happy Meal. When we pointed it out today, unfortunately, there was no second toy to compensate. Then, a large portion of fries was forgotten again today. What a shame.

It's very loud and crowded here. The branch is partially hidden, but the restrooms were clean. The service wasn't exactly friendly, and half of the order was forgotten. You can tell from the branch's location that it's full of tourists, and I think that's reflected in the staff.

We didn't get any ice cubes in our soda, they forgot them. But still our soda tasted of nothing. The food was unfortunately very boring and tasteless…

We're here on vacation. The burgers were very fresh and delicious. Back home, we rarely get such good burgers at McDonald's. We got two Happy Meal toys at once. Upon request, my daughter even got a free stuffed animal. You made her very, very happy. The employees do their best to keep the store clean. With so much customer traffic, that's certainly not always possible. We'd be happy to come back.

I had a really good experience at this McDonald’s. The place was clean and spacious, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. I tried the Big Mac and the Hamburger Royal. The salad inside the burgers was fresh, the bread was soft and the patties were perfectly cooked. The sauce tied everything together — the whole burger experience was delicious. They also had waffle fries, which was a nice touch. The staff really stood out — friendly, respectful, and clearly committed to great service. You don’t always see that kind of attitude; it’s the best service you can get at a McDonald’s. Definitely worth a visit. I’d come back for sure!

We waited 50 minutes for our food, the Wi-Fi was also poor, and the service was unfriendly. If I could, I'd give it a negative rating.

The food was really bad. I ordered a double crispy burger and there was only one plate on it, so it wasn't a double burger. There were small insects inside and outside, my whole body was covered in them.

I've never seen such a dirty MC. You can't sit at a table.

The service was the worst ever. The food was completely forgotten. Been here twice. 2 times forgotten... An hour-long wait with three requests. They always just say, "It's so busy here, I can't help it."

Never again. Even though I understand the stress, waiting over 60 minutes for an order is completely unacceptable. If you then repeatedly ask after 60 minutes when the order will be ready, you get the response: "What should we do now?" For me, that has nothing to do with good service. We'll never see this branch again.

It was just extra busy and the employees were busy, you always have to take this into account and continue to work on coolness and customer friendliness

I'm disappointed. Unfortunately, the visit was anything but pleasant. The restaurant was dirty, crowded, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and unfriendly. Of the four ordering terminals, only two were in operation—the wait times were correspondingly long. I wasn't able to order at the cash register because I was told the staff were "too busy." It's a shame—McDonald's is no longer fun.

Since it was raining, it was very crowded. So, everywhere was a bit dirty and unclean. But we still got our order quickly. Also, someone from the staff should be checking the restrooms regularly; there was no toilet paper, and it was dirty here too.

Very unfriendly, overwhelmed staff. Almost all the customers around us had something to complain about (wrong size or only half-full portions, missing sauce without prior notice, etc.). Restrooms very dirty. The only positive aspect was the covered outdoor play area.

It was enough to make you run away. First, the "friendly" server handed my ordered food to another customer, somehow realized his mistake, and then tried to give it to me. When I asked him to remake the food, he reacted a bit strangely (I don't want to eat something someone else has already had!!!). When I opened my bag, I noticed that the receipt was on top of the fries. Absolutely disgusting. Unfortunately, I have to give him a star for posting something. I'll NEVER go back to this place!!!

I am not satisfied with the service. I was here last week and part of my order was missing so I had to go back to the cash register to get the rest. I was here again on Monday with my family. The order was complete but there were 4 items too many that I hadn't ordered and hadn't paid for. A service employee didn't notice until 10 minutes later and started to berate me. He didn't take the overdue food, though. I took it to the cash register and the service employee walked over to me again. Then another employee came and finally kindly took the 4 items from me. I will consider eating here again when I'm here on Fehmarn with my family.

-10 stars This restaurant is the absolute worst. Not only did you almost lose your shoes on the floor because you were stuck to them... No, even though there were plenty of free seats, you wouldn't want to sit there; the chairs and benches were sticky and greasy. But you could have been full without ordering, as there were enough leftovers from the guests before us on all the tables (mind you, all of them!!!). Only when the staff asked for help did they at least clean the table. In short: the service is beyond abysmal. In my opinion, the staff was overwhelmed by the number of guests. If you're looking to extend your vacation by three weeks (on a yellow card), then you can definitely eat here.

The wait time for orders was very long, and the number of napkins was insufficient. The cleanliness of the dining room was very poor, and the restrooms were unsatisfactory. The stench of urine could be felt even before entering the restrooms. Garbage was flying around the parking lot, and the outdoor bins were full. The overall impression was very poor.

Poor signage to get there. And no straws or napkins at the drive-thru...really bad if you want to eat on the go—I won't be coming back.

The staff is very meticulous; they're constantly wiping tables, tidying up, and checking the restrooms. That wasn't quite the case a few years ago. We were very pleasantly surprised!

This time, the preparation was quick and everything worked out well. I ordered online.

At around 11:20 PM, an order was placed for the Big Mac Happy Meal, but there was no burger included! The Big Mac meal consists of a burger, fries, and Coke! The Coke was diluted with water.

Dear people of the Federal Republic of Germany, I turn to you in my greatest need. My companions and I are helpless and exhausted... we've been on our journey for several hours, sun and night, but we're not supposed to be rewarded. SHOCK Unfortunately, I have no choice but to give this tavern 1/5 stars, regardless of the quality offered. Why? We're here, starving and have already consumed our last reserves, but this dump isn't open. The opening hours are abysmal. A McDonald's that doesn't open until 8 a.m. shocks me and makes me realize how bad things are in our country. In the south, these restaurants are open 24/7, as they should be... I don't know if we'll make it.

Ordered two McFlurrys, one of which was completely missing ice cream, and the other didn't have chocolate sauce. The money I paid in advance via the app wasn't refunded either! Absolute rip-off, never again from this store.

Unfortunately, I wasn't very impressed with this McDonald's. I'm getting older, but I still enjoy going there. Unfortunately, I couldn't order at the counter in this branch, which was very annoying. Unfortunately, I couldn't order two different burgers from the Smart Menu, like I always could in many other branches. I didn't like that at all. I travel a lot in my RV, but I've never been treated so badly. Unfortunately, older people don't find it so easy to use computer ordering. So, only one star from me.

Always friendly staff, fast service. Hot food. Nothing to complain about :) In summer or during holiday season, it can get busier and louder, but the staff remain friendly and can even help in English. ✨ 🍔 🍟

The food was good .I ordered a fish meal. The toilet were not properly clean.

After we stood at the McDrive counter for 15 minutes today and there was no response despite repeated requests, we simply had to drive out the front again (there were 3 cars behind us). 2 cars behind us also drove away, the last one was strangely served. We had ordered online beforehand and then had to wait another 15 minutes in the restaurant for our food because MCDrive didn't work. Just annoying. Food is otherwise good but the MCdrive service is pretty bad.

Unfortunately, the last few times at McDonald's the new management made the visit really unpleasant. The boss complains loudly at the staff, and that creates a really stressful, negative atmosphere. This should be clarified internally and not in front of the customers. I've experienced this a few times now, even in the morning when there's nothing going on. That's really unprofessional and doesn't make the whole thing very inviting. You almost felt sorry for the employees because they were super friendly!

Increasingly worse since the change of ownership. The boss complains about the whole staff, but forgets half of the order when packing it up. Really annoying if you don't live around the corner. It was never like that before.

I live on Fehmarn but this was clearly the last time I got anything here. On the mc fish there was a thimble of mayo on one side of the roll, on the other half a slice of cheese and cold fish in between. Impossible.... The other burgers didn't look any better either. Not recommended

Wasn't there but after everything I've read, I definitely won't set foot in the store. As a managing director, I would think about swapping staff.

As always, I bought a Big Mac and a vanilla milkshake. I have to say the milkshake was delicious but the Big Mac was rock hard and really dry. There was only a dollop of sauce, the salad was just crunchy, and the meat was also very dry. I pulled into the drive in and there were only 3 cars in front of me. Nevertheless, it took 10 minutes until I could order. Then I had to wait another 5 minutes for my food. But the McDonald's looked very nice. Personally, I wouldn't go to McDonald's again and wouldn't recommend it either.

Went there yesterday and left almost €50 behind and were unfortunately disappointed because we got cold fries and the burgers were only lukewarm. I wanted to let you know but there was an older lady working because she was very angry and moody and unfortunately she didn't trust me. The cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired, the toilets aren't very disgusting at all and the dining room isn't particularly clean either. It's a shame for Fehmarn

Unfortunately there is a lack of staff

The food was okay, but it took a long time for the food to come to the table and everyone behind the counter was overwhelmed. The McDonald's is very dirty, the toilets were very dirty, they looked like they hadn't been cleaned for a few days. At noon we were there. The toilets didn't look any better.

I have rarely experienced such a chaotic, unfriendly and unkempt McDonald's. Orders in the restaurant are only possible via terminal or via the app. If you order via the app with cash payment, you wait another 15-20 minutes at the counter. Waiting time for food another 15 minutes. There can be no more talk of fast food.

A McDonalds like any other. Unfortunately, after the change of ownership, a lot of the permanent staff disappeared, meaning that a high level of personal touch was lost. The food and ambience have remained the same :)

Where should I start?! There is no disabled parking space on site. As a wheelchair user it is not possible to enter the restaurant through the main entrance. This only works outside. The restaurant itself is narrow and not every aisle is wheelchair accessible. The atmosphere...... I've never visited an MC as dirty as this one. The floor, okay. Something can always fall down. But not a single table was clean and the garbage trucks were overflowing with trays. The fact that our order took almost 20 minutes and that we and the neighboring tables were always missing something didn't make things any better. Finally, an employee sat down at the table with a guest (who he obviously knew) and chatted for a while. We will not visit this MC again.

Food like in any McDonalds. But!! It was extremely dirty there. We got there early after it opened. There was nothing going on with guests either. So guests can't have left the dirt on the floor and toilet. Toilets still with remnants of previous users for men and women. The floors under the tables and windows apparently haven't been cleaned in ages. Leftover food had probably been there for a long time, as well as crumbs, dust and dirt. Cobwebs everywhere including on the toilets. The uncleanest Mc we've ever been to.

I've seen a lot of things in the world, but I've never seen a McDonald's that is so dirty - the floor is full of leftover food and garbage - and has inattentive staff. Even 1 star is too much. Standard burgers carelessly slapped together. Oh yes, the toilet looks like a train station toilet - dirty and disgusting! And all this even though the restaurant was almost empty. Never again!

McDonald's food could be much better and tastier if it were prepared more lovingly. After I ordered a double McCrispy Chicken menu for "pick up" I had to drive 7 minutes home. Then it was cold and neither crispy chicken nor crispy fries! Then I took everything apart and put it in the pan and the toaster! Afterwards it was really good!, but I probably didn't think so! I have no idea how this delivery service is supposed to work! Branches I would like to report are Fehmarn and Kiel Holstenstraße! Maybe the employees just don't feel like it, or you don't want it any other way. These branches are always very busy, which is why things are going well financially. Congratulations McDonald's! At breakfast time...a little scary. Nicely directed to the terminal to order. Despite there being few guests, the staff was quite overwhelmed...unfortunately there was no trace of the bacon we ordered on the toast. One of two cafe was crema, the other normal. Certainly no reason to complain, it was still tasty...maybe it was the wrong day...

I recommend taking a few cleaning supplies with you. The minimum equipment should include a cleaning cloth for the table and a broom. You don't need cleaning products for the toilet. Hops and malt are lost.

Went there twice during our stay on Fehmarn. The first time everything was tip top. The second time we were there for breakfast and had ordered a little more provisions for the journey home than the mcs employee (older gentleman with a tattoo on his arm) brought. Did he say something like that on the way that we were fed up? Absolutely no go. You can say that in the back of the kitchen, but not while you're walking to the customer.

It's a McD - nothing special so far. Service and processes work well, the cleanliness can still be improved. Burgers are consistently poorly topped and are difficult to eat.

Wrong order 3 times and now supposedly closed earlier due to maintenance work. So that's ridiculous. And wrong order again, new owner thought new luck but no, everything with the old one, you'll never get what you order and I didn't have any special requests

Both menus were cold! The fries were soggy and cold, a catastrophe, the citizens were old and disgusting! We left 24 euros there and we regret it! It's better to go to the supermarket and get something from the bakery!

We come from the Berlin area and so far this branch has been by far the best. Unfortunately, you don't always expect such good things from fast food restaurants. We were totally surprised and liked this one on the island of Fehmarn. The food was ready super quickly, fresh, hot and topped just as the pictures suggest. The staff friendly and very careful. The tables were cleaned regularly and properly prepared (chairs pushed in, etc.). The process seemed calm and structured, despite many orders. It was our last evening here and we didn't actually want to go to McDonalds. Now we were happy because we also tried the "M" today and luckily here. Absolutely delicious. Like many branches, a latte or cappuccino on the way home is always worth a stop. Unfortunately the toilets are very unclean and it spoils your appetite before eating 😞
