This is the worst manager in the world

Hey, I waited 30 minutes and then asked what was going on with my order. They handed me a tablet across the counter with the words, "We're sorry!" I tried a French fry right away, and it wasn't lukewarm anymore, it was cold. The two cheeseburgers were, of course, cold too. I complained right away, and they served me warm food within 5 minutes! That wasn't the first time! The cleanliness also leaves something to be desired! Hence the decision to complain. Best regards

I waited 25 minutes for my food, and when I mentioned it, they forgot to bring it. This is the second time this has happened. My M menu was missing. People, go eat somewhere else.

Been to the drive-thru several times now, always long waits of 10 minutes or more, McFlurry not even half full, milkshake the same problem, double sauce isn't made, burgers only have a drop of sauce on them, assuming all the burgers are there, employees are unfriendly (except for the slightly sturdier gentleman :D, he's great!) Stayings from the employees: "The other McDonald's are doing it wrong" - oh, so everyone else is doing it wrong, except Ahlen 😂🙋‍♂️ The store is beneath contempt.

This place was the last straw for me. I wanted to go to this McDonald's once. First, I waited 25 minutes for my food. And the next day, I got food poisoning. Come up with something.

Always recommended for a quick bite. The food is always freshly prepared and lives up to expectations.

I have something to say. I've worked in a franchise myself for years and know it can be a thankless job. First of all, thank you for the tireless efforts of your employees. Unfortunately, some products were missing from the order at the drive-thru the last few times. Without a receipt, this is difficult to prove. I wish the operations manager or regional manager had been a bit more committed. They referred me to the restaurant, but didn't resolve the problem. If I, as a guest, pay for something, I am entitled to the purchased service. I hope things improve in the future. Otherwise, the employees are nice. Herne could learn a thing or two from them.

The food was okay, the service was good, but I personally don't like it when the tray is simply slapped down on the table with no expression on their faces. I've been to other branches where the staff were very friendly. The restrooms were dirty, there was no paper, and the floor was full of water. A note on the wall telling you to inform the branch manager isn't enough!

I told the drive-thru twice that I wanted the garlic pepper nuggets. At first, the incompetent guy at the counter said they couldn't change it, and then suddenly it worked. When I paid, I was told it had been changed. When I picked up the food, strangely enough, the wrong nuggets were in it. Afterward, I spoke to the rude lady who only packs and hands over bags, who became extremely rude and tried to turn me away. Finally, the manager came over and told me there would be a 20-minute wait for the food I had actually ordered and paid for. All in all, a very incompetent and rude store, a huge disappointment. Maybe they should hire more competent staff. The reason for the wrong food was, in all seriousness, that it was busy, which is absolutely no excuse to quickly pack the correct food.

This store doesn't really deserve a star. I've been to the McDrive several times, and even though you pay via the app, they want money, or you have completely wrong order. Today we were here (September 4, 2025) and every car had to wait what felt like 5 minutes for its order. They wanted money from us again because the wrong order was called out. Today the employees were incapable of running this store. We've already been waiting 30 minutes. Like I said, they really deserve 0 stars.

Ordered two Happy Meals and realized at home that neither of them had a toy in it.

They have the usual McDonald's food, but it's prepared very slowly, and you almost always order something, pay for everything, and get half the price. Also, the ice cream machine is ALWAYS BROKEN. Addendum, August 5, 2025: Why the hell is McDelivery only offered in 59229 and not 59227? Are the train tracks too much of an obstacle?

It's truly become one of the best McDonald's locations. The food here always tastes really good, and it's also pretty clean. The staff is quite friendly, sometimes a bit indifferent, but that's understandable in some ways. Unfortunately, McDonald's prices have become exorbitant these days, but this location can't be blamed for that. The only downside is the drive-thru. When it's busy, you'll easily end up waiting for more than 15 minutes. The drive-thru has always been poorly positioned. When it's too busy, the line of cars stretches all the way to the main road, causing extreme congestion.

The entire McMenu was forgotten, unfortunately only noticed at home... The burgers were quite tasty, but 11 euros were wasted.

Toilets broken. Faucet broken... No trash can... And it stinks... I'm not used to that.

I go there. I get a burger meal for €6.50 and don't get a receipt. Because the employee throws the receipt in the trash without asking me. The employees there are incredibly rude (except for the one with the buzz cut, he was really nice). They don't even smile and there are little flies flying everywhere which are incredibly annoying. I was particularly disappointed by the hair in my ice cream! About two weeks ago, I went to McDonald's after my graduation party. I had to wait 20 minutes until I got my order and no wonder I didn't get a receipt again. I go crazy when I don't get my receipt. I feel like I go to McDonald's every day but I'm very dissatisfied!

I had ants in my iced latte. How can a "restaurant" not notice ants and other creatures crawling around in the kitchen?! Disgusting, I'm about to report this to the public order office.

I'm very happy that Ahlen has a McDonald's, but the problem lies with the employees. They don't give me a receipt even though I want one, which is against Section 246 of the German Criminal Code (StGB), which deals with embezzlement (if the receipt belongs to the customer and the cashier simply throws it away without permission, that could be considered embezzlement). And there are no good seats next to the stairs; there are so many flies that it's a zoo :)

It wasn't nice at all. I was given a large menu. The fries were cold and the meat was cold. I ordered, and before I even sat down at the table, he said the food was ready.

The branch has been recently remodeled and looks really good. I don't want to complain on a high level; it's still a fast-food restaurant. The waiters are trying hard, but it seems like they're short on staff. The customers are... well, a fast-food restaurant in the city center, you just have to deal with it. But I'm not coming for the offerings, the service, or the customers, so I'll just take it. 😅

The ambience was quite ok from the outside (MC Drive), not to mention the service (was not good at all, very unfriendly and incompetent).

Last night, I got a takeout meal from McDonald's with fries with mayo, curly fries, and chicken wings with Big Mac sauce. Less than an hour after eating, I vomited twice. However, the service is usually okay, and the store looks clean enough. The restrooms are often dirty and smelly.

The dirtiest McDonald's I've ever seen. Restrooms are completely filthy. The tables aren't cleaned. The staff just stand behind the counter and don't care. The health department should come by.

And again I got the wrong food. There was no one at the drive-thru except me, but I still got the Chicken Big Mac instead of the Double Big Mac. The staff there is overpaid at €2 an hour.

I haven't been to the store for the first time in years. I stupidly went to the bathroom. Simply disgusting...!! Dirty and broken. That stench...!! Every motorway restroom is a dream...! Okay, the food was as usual, but I'll spare myself the trouble of sitting in the restaurant. They need to work on that a bit.

I'd rather drive to Burger King in Hamm, it's that simple. The fries weren't warm from the chicken burger but they weren't warm from the meal, and I'll just throw them in the trash, never again, guaranteed! Happy Meal, no toys inside, kids disappointed, I'd rather buy food from the kebab shop across the street.

Unfortunately we sat (after ordering) for about 20-25 minutes and waited for the food, so this isn't fast food.

So today we were in Ahlen at McDonald's, it was pure madness because the ladies' toilet was a disaster, the staff was completely overwhelmed, the food was cold, I wouldn't miss anyone going there

Good Friday 11 p.m. There's a lot going on, the order arrived quickly, but the store looks like a mess. Toilet floor is made of toilet paper. Not to mention the tables. Everyone looked like they hadn't seen a rag all day. There clearly needs to be more staff there. We'll never eat in there again, we'd rather eat in the cold car. I don't want to include photos. The food was tasty even though the cucumber was missing.

Today it was very crowded. Therefore you had to wait up to 30 minutes for your food.

We were there last week and I have to say, I have never experienced such bad service. I waited almost 30 minutes for two smart menus. I wasn't the only one... My order was shown on the screen as ready, but it wasn't even being prepared yet. The employees have the feeling that they fall asleep while running - they work so slowly. At the drive, I noticed that some of the employees didn't know which order belonged to which car. When I came out there were 4 cars in the waiting area. The order was relatively cold, even though we ate it in the car right in the parking lot. There is only one toilet and it is not even really clean, there is no possibility of disinfection. Maybe the health department should make a surprise appearance here...

If I could I would give minus stars!! I was there shortly before 2 a.m. and there was a younger lady there who you could tell was in a bad mood Paid 30 euros and got 2 burgers. Quick tip to the boss You don't need employees like that, you'll just ruin your shop :) Outrageous

I had a very negative experience at McDonald's on (3/6/25 at 11:10 p.m.). An employee with brown, long, curly hair and blonde streaks who worked at the counter behaved in an absolutely disrespectful manner. In front of us, she insulted a colleague (tall, brown curly hair) as “disabled” just because he made a mistake. She also complained loudly that she now had to do her “shit” alone. The affected employee then appeared visibly intimidated and reserved. When I asked her that she should treat her colleagues with respect, she reacted rudely and said that it was up to her how she spoke to her employees. Then she simply closed the window and avoided the conversation. Such behavior is absolutely unacceptable, both towards colleagues and towards customers. I hope McDonald's takes appropriate action here.

Wir haben am MC Drive bestellt. Den vollen Preis für unser Essen bezahlt. Auf Nachfrage, ob alles vollständig ist, sagte man mir "Ja". Wir haben zu Hause festgestellt, dass 2 große Pommes und Tube Majo fehlten! Bin sehr wütend, dass man auf meine Nachfrage gelogen hat!

Apart from the fact that the branch is very dirty (the trash can outside is overflowing, there are liquor bottles next to it, the toilet is dirty, everything is sticky), the staff is not able to process the orders quickly (I had to wait 20! minutes. People next to me even said they had to wait 45 minutes) and this is also not possible without errors. (Things were missing or there were things that I didn't order. The food was intended to be eaten in the store, but was packed in bags. In addition, the burger was cold and topped with the wrong salad (wrong cut size for my burger)). We asked for some form of compensation. That was denied, but you could get the boss. We asked for that, but it didn't happen. The young man who told us this in broken German added that it wasn't his problem. After all, there would be a lot going on. That may be true, but that's not the customer's problem. For just under 30 euros, all of this is completely disproportionate and wrong.

We just had to wait 20 minutes to order even though the store was empty. Ich bin 62 , sorry mach dir eine Excel Tabelle ,trag den Code, das Menü und den Preis ein und wenn du wieder Netz hast Schick es ab. Die Krönung des Ganzen, sie kauft dann ein normales Chicken Nuggets Menü,und die Fachkraft packt ihr VEGANE ein. So that was the last time today!!! I often go to mecces because my girls want to... and today we were out and about in Ahlen again. Nothing going on on Sundays at 1:30 p.m. We order to eat here via the app. Almost all the tables were completely dirty. The toilet facility was all dirty. Even though nothing was going on. Waited 20 minutes for our food... Woman came and couldn't speak German (the problem was we ordered at table 5 but sat at 6 because everything at table 5 was dirty (so everyone else was worse) We talked with our hands and feet until we got our food. This was really inedible and cold. Daughter 4 goes to the checkout and says sorry to the staff because she wants another bag of ketchup, it was missing from the happy meal. Everyone looked at her and ignored her, I then went over and had to find out from you, the second waitress, that she didn't speak German:-( first she wanted money for ketchup, then I told her it was missing and the food didn't taste good anyway good.. only then did she grudgingly give me the ketchup. Just thank you etc. The staff was very, very bad. Moral of the story, my girls don't want to go to McDonald's anymore yay. P.s: everything is full of rubbish outside and inside. And now 15 minutes after eating my stomach is grumbling..... :-(

Demanding money at all for a burger prepared like this is cheeky. When I checked my goods at the drive-in counter to see if everything was there, I was approached by the saleswoman. She says I have to drive away faster otherwise there would be a queue. I tried to explain to her that something was almost always missing from the order, but she wasn't interested. She then just rolled her eyes and told me to drive away. It's terrible how customers are treated and it has now become really expensive for a quality and preparation that is disproportionate.

You can never go wrong at McDonald’s. The McDonald’s in Ahlen is also great, and this is also known outside of Ahlen. The staff is always very nice too. Sometimes the tables are not completely clean. But when you ask, someone always comes straight away. Orders are placed quickly with the new mobile ordering system. Recommended 👍

So it's really starting to take off, I ordered take-away food several times and the last three times I got something different than what I ordered. Big Tasty bacon without cheese, what can I get one with cheese, Big Tasty without tomatoes what can one get without bacon, no sauce with the fries, no sauce with the nuggets, I should be grateful that when I ordered 6 nuggets I got 6 or do I always have to count?

Orders are not taken properly, something is constantly missing from the menu and when you call, you hang up in the middle of the conversation. The most incompetent employees I know!

The three of us were there at around eleven o'clock. The whole store makes a very unkempt impression, with leftover food on the tables even though the store was empty. The floor was sticky like it had been mopped with lemonade. Toilet paper on the floor in the men's toilet, no lock on the cubicle and the hand dryer doesn't work. The food is typical McDonald's...

The staff was completely overwhelmed, drinks were non-carbonated and it was incredibly dirty. Tables full of garbage and dirt (receipts that were on them were 2 hours old) and the garbage containers were overflowing.

I ordered at the terminal today (order 282) When you get home you realize that half of it is missing and the content you have is also wrong. Thank you. I'll save myself the trip to McDonald's in Ahlen in the future. Calling there doesn't help either, it's just a tape. You wait in vain for a call back. Service and customer-friendly looks different.

Appalling service. I thought €26 for black hair in a burger was too expensive. For me, as an absolute fast food fan of the "Golden M", it was the last time in the Ahlen branch. It was just uncomfortable being there, the air in the shop was bad and you constantly felt like you were going to be stuck to the floor.

It's nice when you notice that people are making an effort. All orders are exactly as ordered, items are nice and hot and the employees are friendly and helpful. No long waiting times, whether at the drive-in or in the restaurant. And even when I made a mistake (ordering could have been cheaper with a different configuration) it was kindly pointed out that a corresponding combination would reduce the overall price. We're happy every time, so it's a great experience for us (the children just love ordering their own things at the terminals and they enjoy using the play tower)

In the entire lower area there are only very very dirty tables. After I cleaned the table and benches that were smeared with ketchup myself so that I could actually sit somewhere with the kids, the cold food arrived at some point. And that where there were more staff than visitors in the store. I'm also wondering, why are there stickers on the burgers saying "without pickle" if that's almost never taken into account? And are there actually forks with salad? And has anyone actually received their complete order? And and and... Whenever I think it couldn't be worse than this time, McDonald's in Ahlen surprises me negatively again.

After standing stupidly in front of the ordering terminal in the drive for 5 minutes, the order was received incorrectly and in an unfriendly manner, they didn't listen to us either... I worked at McDonald's myself for a while and I know the headsets aren't the best but you can ask... then on Window felt like I waited for 10 minutes, haven't paid anything yet 🤷🏼‍♀️ after paying then waiting again for the rest... don't come from the corner that's why my review comes here. In my opinion, the store and the employees definitely have potential for an overhaul.

Now very expensive and the food is no longer what it used to be

Ordered something from McDonald's after countless months, and what can I say? We should have left it alone. Apparently this happens often in this branch when I read through the posts here. We also had things missing from our order, two burgers were completely wrong, the nuggets tasted like flour and the fries were almost white, cold and half raw..... It's an outrage to sell something like that to your customers.... Why? I can only speculate about it, but maybe someone there should really take care of things so that this doesn't continue to happen.

I only drank one coffee but it was delicious
