Bunker - Kebab, Street Food, Veggie in Ahlen

We ate kebab there in July 2024. The location is modernly furnished, everything is relatively new, located in a quiet residential area, which in itself is very good. There were also a few places to sit in front of the restaurant, which was just as positive. Ordering and preparing 3 kebabs took too long for me, just under 15 minutes. The result didn't do it justice either. The bread was toasted so crispy that it hurt your mouth and the bread crumbled badly. There was also very little meat and salad in it. The taste of the meat was very neutral. The salad was ok, but the sauces didn't taste good at all. If the owner had tried it himself, he would immediately notice that the concept doesn't taste harmonious. But it also matches my findings in other kebab shops. It's the same everywhere, a piece of crap is sold and then you cash in. Today's kebab operators don't even know what exactly they're selling; it starts with the meat. I no longer support this kind of thing and now give the kebab shops a wide berth. There are of course exceptions, but this restaurant is not one of them.

Actually, I don't eat a rotisserie kebab anywhere because I get stomach problems, but I tolerate the kebab from the bunker very well and it tastes simply delicious, which is also thanks to the great sauces and the super fresh salad. Always my pleasure.

Not only is the kebab great here, but also the competent owner who stands behind the counter and pampers and entertains his customers every day. The bunker is a MUST for anyone who likes delicious food. Whether it's a classic kebab bag or bunker bag with bunker sauce or fries with curry-mango sauce, or the kebab fries box with bunker + curry mango sauce. It simply tastes delicious. My personal combination is now the kebab bag with bunker sauce and a small fries with the CurryMango sauce. But be forewarned. There is a great risk of addiction.

Everything in itself was great except for the cheap rotisserie meat, which was the only thing to choose from. Hours after we ate there we had stomach problems including diarrhea. The shop has potential but only if it focuses on real meat and not the highly processed crap on a skewer

Everything is done right here from start to finish. The taste is absolutely amazing...everything warm and fresh. The sauces are a dream. We like to eat on site because the owner is a very pleasant person, no wish is left unfulfilled. We always enjoy coming back :)

The bunker is easy to reach and there are plenty of parking spaces. The ambience is very pleasant and the atmosphere invites you to have a pleasant visit. The staff is very friendly and immediately makes you feel welcome. During our visit we tasted the kebab, falafel, fries and lahmacun. The bread was very crispy, the salad was very fresh and the sauces were very varied. At this point I recommend the delicious curry mango sauce. The meat is indescribably delicious and in Ahlen the only place I can go for a kebab is the bunker! The falafel, fries and lahmacun were just as tasty and fresh. There was no saving in the preparation, instead they were very generous, which for me represents an unbeatable price-performance ratio. The slogan “If you’re hungry, come to the bunker” fits perfectly! Conclusion: Bunker = no alternative contact point in Ahlen.

There is no better kebab shop in the world. The curry-mango sauce is incredibly delicious and you are always greeted with a smile.

We discovered the bunker by chance. But we enjoyed it so much that we ate there again the next day. Very nice owner. He has a large selection of food for on-hand or on-site. From meat skewers to vegetarian dishes, there is something for everyone that can be pimped with a variety of sauces. When we're in the area again, this will be our first port of call.

The Bunker is by far the best kebab shop I have ever visited! The meat is perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, the vegetables are always fresh and the sauces are simply delicious. The staff is super friendly and efficient, making every visit a pleasant experience. Regardless of whether you want to grab something quickly or have a leisurely meal on site, the bunker never disappoints. Highly Recommended!

I just think it's great, the person who works there is very nice and friendly and has a lot of fun. The service is very fast and the food tastes particularly good. The prices are well proportioned to the portions of the food and you can really enjoy yourself I can only recommend a great business to everyone

I don't know what some people here have but; The kebab is really tasty The bread is crispy, the sauce is spicy, the salad is crisp and fresh and the meat is also on point All in all a great kebab I'll try something different at some point, but if that's exactly the case then I'll be there more often.

The meat is quite tasteless, there are only 3 small pieces of cucumber and tomato and hardly any coleslaw. The kebab is in a normal flatbread and is quite light at under 400g. This is very expensive at €7. If you like meaty kebabs, this might be the right place for you.

Comparatively little kebab (380g) for a lot of money and the taste is rather average. Was OK.

Was there for the first time today What can I say... we were warmly welcomed and served. Let's get to the food: The kebab and the side dishes i.e. sauce, salad etc... Extremely fresh. I'm really picky when it comes to taste but I really had nothing to complain about here. Taste absolutely delicious. The portions are really hearty. Cleanliness and hygiene are really top! Atmosphere is not like every other snack bar but rather striking, simple and modern at the same time. I'm really impressed, it's usually rare that I give 5 stars to snack shops because I always have something to complain about. But that really wasn't the case here

The durum with the fries inside and bunker sauce is absolute fire 🔥 🙌💯 something different than your average in Ahlen. 10/10. Just wish the wait wasn’t so long 🙈 worth it though!

Came on a recommendation and is clearly the best not only in Ahlen but in the whole area, the bread, the sauces, the meat as a whole, the bombs, the kebab really keep it up and we'll be happy to come back

Finding parking is no problem. It's clean. But there could be more seats. Not great for eating there. No toilet. Therefore only 3 points. Food was great. Portion good. Meat was delicious. Fries and mayo very good. Sauce is simply delicious. Selection good. Prices normal. Service friendly.

I give it 2 stars because the shop is clean and the selection of sauces is large. But that's it, the meat isn't the best and not to mention the portion. 9€ for a dürüm that weighs maybe 250g is already exorbitant. The portion of the kebab was ok, but there was still plenty of room for improvement.

Unfortunately I have to edit my review. When it comes to the rotisserie bag, I feel like it consists of 60% salad, 20% bread and 20% rotisserie meat. If you're already paying €7 for rotisserie meat, you can also add a little more meat. My mouth was partly burning because I bit into a bunch of onions. The bread itself is very good and I like it. Unfortunately, you can only pay with EC cards and not with the new debit cards. Very unfortunate.

He has a wide variety of sauces, all of which are delicious. The mango sauce is the best. The bunker is a bit far away from Beckum, but the trip is worth it. The Bunker is the kebab shop you shouldn't miss!

We were there today, bought kebab, the meat was cold and kept there. The smelly sauces in the salad were disgusting. Then my wife and I got severe stomach pains, we went to the hospital, they cut it off, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, food poisoning.

I've eaten the kebab a lot and in the beginning it was really, really good. However, my girlfriend now has food poisoning and has been vomiting for 2 days. She has a high fever and severe circulatory problems due to severe abdominal cramps and vomiting. I will never go there again...

The food here tastes really great, it's the best kebab shop in the area. Price-performance ratio is also appropriate and not overpriced like most kebab shops in Ahlen and the surrounding area. The reception and interaction with customers is really very nice and friendly, there is a great atmosphere in the store and people like to come here to eat, on the one hand because of the great kebab and on the other hand because of the friendly customer reception.

Bester Döner der Stadt! Herausragende Soßen!

Ich hatte einen Bunkerteller und war sehr zufrieden. Das Fleisch war super saftig, der Salat frisch und knackig, die Pommes schön kross und gut gewürzt und die Hausgemachten Saucen sehr lecker. Die Portion war groß und der Preis fair für die gute Qualität. Super freundlicher und kompetenter Chef. Der Laden ist sehr cool Aufgemacht und war sehr sauber. Immer wieder gerne, sehr zu empfehlen!!

Ich muss ehrlich sagen ein Laden bei dem das Gesamtkonzept passt! Der Laden sieht immer sauber und ordentlich aus. Der Chef ist echt ein herzensguter Mensch er ist immer gut drauf und animiert die Kunden zum Lachen. Das essen da ist eine 10/10, also an den Döner mit diesen Soßen kommt in Ahlen und Umgebung so schnell keiner dran. Also eine ganz klare Empfehlung meinerseits!

Ich bin zu Bunker hingegangen, weil sich in der stadt rumgesprochen hat , dass er wirklich sehr gut sei. Nach dem Besuch kann ich bestätigen, dass die in der Tat sehr gut sind! Die Auswahl an Speisen ist etwas kleiner, als bei den anderen Dönerläden, was ich aber sehr gut finde, da die sich auf die Sachen, die die anbieten spezialisiert haben. Mit 7 € kostet die Dönertasche für die aktuellen Preise verhältnismäßig absolut im Rahmen, aber der Geschmack ist fantastisch. Das Fladenbrot schmeckt brillant und der Döner ist reichlich gefüllt. Auch die Soßensin hervorragend lecker. Fazit: Mein Besuch bei BUNKER Schnellimbiss hat sich gelohnt und ich werde definitiv wieder kommen 😊

Der Döner schmeckt richtig gut, besonders die Saucen mit dem knusprigen aber auch weichen Brot. Es gibt auch eine eine gute Auswahl an Saucen.

Ich kann diese ganzen 5 Sterne Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Der Döner war in Ordnung, aber überhaupt nichts besonderes. Fertiges Brot, nur Drehspießfleisch und dafür mit 7 Euro definitiv zu teuer. In Ahlen bekommt man auf jeden Fall bessere Döner, auch mit Yaprak-Fleisch und das sogar noch günstiger.

Beste Dönerladen in Ahlen! Gesamtpaket ist super. Geht auf Kundenwünsche ein. Super Qualität, Super Preisleistungsverhältnisse und einen herzlichen Besitzer, der sich immer mit seinen Kunden unterhält. Definitiv eine Empfehlung wert, wenn man eine gute Döner oder etwas anderes Essen möchte.

Ich war heute zum ersten Mal dort. Habe für 6,50€ eine Box geholt, gefüllt mit Pommes und Kebab. Leider war ich jedoch enttäuscht. Kebab war kalt, die box war mehr mit Pommes befüllt. Für den Preis war ich enttäuscht. Geschmacklich kann ich nicht beurteilen da Fleisch Zuwenig und kalt war. Preis Leistung doch zu teuer!!!! Heute (04.11) haben wir den Bunker Teller geholt, wir waren diesmal sehr zufrieden und ändern daher die Rezension und Sterne!

Bester Döner im Kreis Warendorf. Selbst gemachte Soßen und super leckeres Kalbfleisch gepaart mit frischen angegrilltem Fladenbrot. Die Soße wird ins Brot gerieben und zusätzlich verteilt. Mischung aus Fleisch und Salat im Döner ist perfekt.

Bunker Kebab ist mit Abstand der beste Döner in Ahlen und das ist nicht einfach, da Ahlen gefühlt mehr Döner Läden als Einwohner hat. Man bekommt hier knuspriges Fladenbrot und knackigen Salat mit leckerem Fleisch. Der Inhaber ist ein super sympathischer Typ mit dem man sich auch super mal Unterhalten kann, wenn nicht gerade wieder Dutzende hungrige Leute den Laden überfluten.
