McDonald's in Itzehoe

It is a fast food restaurant in an industrial area...the staff was very nice and friendly that morning...and I felt comfortable at that moment...against all expectations

I don't know that I think the new design is really ugly, including the food area. It feels like a shopping mall. Everyone looks at the terminals and then waits for their food and the numbers are called. So I don't know. Then I'd rather drive in and eat at home

The new renovation looks very uncomfortable. It's not worth staying any longer. The breakfast menus are very negative and are not appropriate for the price.

Were there just now, mainly because of the glasses. But we didn't get any because we ordered the wrong menu. Poorly described. But it was still ignored. You only get it with a normal menu. Burger totally soggy, mashed and just thrown into the bag. Very appetizing. Staff totally unfriendly.

Instead of lowering prices, an expensive conversion with no added value. McDonald's is officially a Trump supporter.

Acceptable McDonald's, nothing exceptional, nothing terrible

Trash cans, tables and seating were cleaned by the service staff outside with just a cloth without rinsing it once. The rag even fell on the floor and all the bacteria continued to be smeared. Not even disinfectant was used. I reported it to the restaurant management. They apologized. Let's see if anything changes in the near future.

The food was disgusting. Fries taste like chicken, cheese on the citizens is carelessly slapped on and not even remotely melted. Really expected better for the money. 😡😡😡😡😡😡

If I had the opportunity to give you ZERO stars I would do so. Got food there last night and lost Easter because of it. My Bigtasty Bacon tasted rotten from the middle on (weird, there was also a lot more sauce on the burger than normal) so I threw it away. A short time later I felt sick. Same thing with my wife's cheeseburger. Today, Easter Sunday, we were both lying flat with diarrhea etc. Thank you McDonald's Itzehoe!

People are more likely to be tempted to write bad reviews. But do these people ever think about the fact that the Itzehoer McDonald's has just been completely renovated? Before that, the entire interior was actually pretty “shabby”. Now everything shines in a new look. And that's all chic! Even if not everything is successful, the touch of “new” clearly predominates. Our breakfast burgers were good as always! Thanks to the employees who always treat us with kindness! P.S.: As you call into the forest.....that's how it sounds out!

The tomatoes aren't ripe and there's a lot of noise in the shop

You have to imagine that. It's being remodeled and everything is simply worse than before. There are now even fewer parking spaces, even fewer seating options and they are now narrower than before. I'm slim, but others... Some of the staff are still in a bad mood. Not all! But those who are dissatisfied with their lives at McDonald's should consider applying elsewhere.

There's a lot going on and there's insults in the kitchen

I ordered this Minecraft menu at 11am. The minecraft (Nether) sauce was no longer available. I ordered take away and the food was served on the tablet. When the employee packed my food, I got a normal brown bag instead of this yellow box. My toy was missing (had to specifically address it). When I got home I noticed that the cheeseburger was also missing.

So the food (actually everything) was more cold than warm, something was forgotten which I then got when I asked. Were there for the first and last time, there are better branches than the one in Itzehoe. Unfortunately I can't recommend any.

The burgers were completely "squashed" and the kitchen didn't make any effort. I would understand if it was very busy, but the store was almost empty. Too bad. I get more for the money elsewhere. Update: The store has just been remodeled. But it didn't make anything better. Quite the opposite. Everything is cramped, the toilets are a disaster and the staff is in no way friendly or service-oriented! The fries were limp and cold.

My husband ordered online to pick up a good hour ago. Service itself was quite good, but when he got home the toy was missing from the Happy Meal... What children usually look forward to the most. So Happy Meal without Happy... Sad! This happened for the first time ever. Strangely enough, since the renovation, something suddenly went wrong.

The renovation was a complete failure. Whoever waved this through should be left behind. It used to be cozy, and even larger groups could dine comfortably thanks to the two largest tables. Overall, it feels much smaller, with fewer seating options. Now it's totally uncomfortable. We were absolutely shocked at how it could go so badly. The food counters and ordering kiosks are in different places throughout the store, meaning there's always people walking or standing around you. Overall, I think it's too brightly lit. Nothing to complain about with the staff, and it was clean too. And the food is Mecci, what else can you expect. So, everything's good :) The old one was truly wonderful. I'm no longer recommending OKF.

The renovation looks like it was intentional but not done right. Since the OG McDonald's is no longer what it used to be, I'll now get my burgers at the next burger joint. It's really sad... everything was better back then!

The employees are nice but the food arrived cold then I wanted to go to the toilet and saw someone sleeping on the floor

Food was delivered, arrived quickly, was warm, delivery man was very nice, the only drawback was that the fries were shit, but you already know that. But that's not so bad for us. Overall great!

Unfortunately we have the feeling that things are getting worse and worse... we ordered via the app and picked it up at the drive-in. Since checking the products is not possible under time pressure. Of course, a few things were missing at home. For €38.00 I would like to have everything I ordered! And THAT has unfortunately happened again and again with recent ORDERS. Too bad.

McWrap - the only thing I really like to order here, I look forward to it... It gets messed up more and more every year. 5 minutes ago I got this mess delivered, what a surprise... from loyal customers. Otherwise only male jizz sticks to paper, which just gives me something to think about. However. I don't want to demand a replacement for Hassle now. The prices have already been raised almost like a mafia, really nice to use the small inflation and price increases to exploit customers. Of course it's not this store's fault - but the franchise store and the entire company are being evaluated here. In short, the quality of the wraps has dropped drastically since three/four deliveries, too much sauce at the beginning, then the toppings were completely amateurish, and now an unacceptable dough that sticks to the greenwashing packaging paper, with no chance of ever unpacking the wrap properly. Not to mention that the penultimate delivery contained burgers (this Big Rösti and a Double Royal TS Cheese) which were both miles away from the taste of the order placed a week earlier. The Double RTS Cheese, especially the onions (yes, really), was so inedible, so profoundly disgusting, that UNLIED and unfortunately, without exaggeration, almost the entire meal of the day came back to me. Thank God it only remains a very small piece of vomit. And then I brushed my teeth for ten minutes because I couldn't get rid of that aftertaste. Even now the quality is no longer as good as it was a few months ago. impertinence. At least drivers are always quick, even when it's slippery, and 90% of the time they're nice and courteous.

Be careful in the ladies' room. There I, a woman, was robbed by a man. I left my wallet on the coat hook in the middle toilet and forgot it when I left the toilet. As soon as I got back to my children at the table, I immediately remembered and ran straight to the toilet and searched everything. The left toilet was occupied but open. I then tried to open the door and there was resistance. After further attempts I could see a man behind it. He was Eastern European and an alcoholic. He then locked himself in and I called the staff. After about 10 minutes, two men from the staff managed to get the man to open the door. He acted surprised and allowed himself and his backpack to be searched, nothing. When he left the toilet, I searched all the toilets again and found my wallet on the coat hook in the middle toilet. The bills were gone but everything else was still there. Everything is locked up to the ceiling above the doors, but not behind the toilets, which means that he was able to look into the middle toilet at the top and stole the wallet and then put it there again, which was not visible to us in front of the toilets. It is unclear whether it was a random theft and whether he just got lost in the women's toilet, for example. In any case, the staff was very helpful and committed. The food was good too. Only the cleanliness leaves something to be desired, both on the tables and underneath them as well as on the seats and the toilet. MC Donald urgently needs to improve here. It was a very upsetting visit and yes, it was my own fault. In the end I was happy that the only thing missing was the money. A frightening feeling still remains.

It's hard to rate the food and ambience of McDonald's because you know what to expect. However, there is one thing about this particular location (Itzehoe) that is now SO off that I can't help but write this stupid review. We (family of 4) get McDonalds every 6-8 weeks. Not regularly and not rarely. Our orders are almost always the same, two Happy Meals and a large menu with a “big” burger with a smaller item, like nuggets, cheeseburgers or something similar. We always take the food with us via the drive-in and drive straight home (15 minutes ). Without exception, really without exception, something is missing. Not the fries, not the drink but either: the nuggets in the HappyMeal, the burger from the large menu, the smaller additional burger or something similar. We now check the bags full as best we can before we set off again. No problem with two people, it's more difficult with one person alone. It's a disgrace because we've NEVER had a complete order. It was such a nuisance that we avoided McDonalds for months - until our appetite took over. In no other fast food store was anything missing from our order, here absolutely every time without exception. At today's prices it's an absolute disgrace.

I'm getting fed up with McDonald's Itzehoe, the quality of the products is really leaving something to be desired and my last order was the last straw, I ordered 6 and 9 nuggets and a large portion of fries, the nuggets were inedible so I I couldn't finish them and the fries were definitely over their time and inedible. Oh yes, I ordered a large portion of fries and only got a medium one (and no, I didn't eat any beforehand). I won't be visiting McDonalds anymore and would rather eat somewhere else.

Unfortunately, my last visit to McDonald's was very disappointing. The wait times were much longer than expected even though it wasn't particularly busy. The staff seemed overwhelmed and when my food finally came it was only lukewarm and the fries were soft. Additionally, cleanliness in the restaurant was a real problem - the tables weren't cleared, the floor was sticky, and the toilets really left a lot to be desired. A visit to the toilets is hardly recommended. It's a shame because I used to love coming here. Hopefully the service and hygiene will improve again soon.

Not recommended, unfriendly, arrogant staff, complaint because in the 6 chicken MC nuggets only 5 were true and I was allowed to assume that we had already eaten one in the car and shouldn't act like that.

The order always arrived promptly, the whole thing was hot, still warm and the sauce was really good...The staff were always friendly and in a good mood! Quality of the food?...it's just McDonalds...ready!!! However, what happened to us yesterday is not possible!!! The fries were forgotten on the menu. There was mayo in the bags, but no fries! That's not possible and borders on "fraud" since we paid in full!!!!!

Typical Mecces. Service and food were all ok. But the cleanliness. Almost non-existent. We were there at 8:30 in the morning and there were two people sitting here besides us. The toilets weren't really clean, there was a smell of urine, towels and toilet paper weren't refilled, the toilet doors were dirty. Many tables were partly not wiped down. Floor sticks and is dirty. Not so nice.

Just ordered two fish-o-filets. Apparently it was in the deep fryer for far too long. Hard, dark brown and slightly bitter tasting. The fish portion was dry. These burgers are the only ones I eat from the entire menu. I'm absolutely disappointed, friends...look at the price!!!! The children were given vanilla instead of the two strawberry shakes they had ordered. We had to remember to order the two large Cokes we ordered when we handed over the order. If I hadn't already been too far away from the branch when we opened the ordered products on the way, I would have returned the entire order immediately. A total of almost €50 was paid. By the way... the toilets were a total odorous disaster... hygiene was nonexistent. Then we'd rather do without in the future. Everything is becoming more expensive and unfortunately the service is developing in the opposite direction far too often. Mc D in Itzehoe... never again!

Food was good, but there were screaming strange children and strange teenagers everywhere

As usual, it tastes delicious here, what particularly bothers me is that the branch here in Itzehoe doesn't take part in the MyMcdonalds points program, which means I often switch to McDonalds Heide. Apart from that, the staff isn't always the friendliest, but otherwise I'm totally satisfied I always feel comfortable here. Side note: the Itzehoer MCDonalds branch is now also taking part in the MCDonalds points program, so the visit was once again very worthwhile for me, unfortunately a lot of drinks and food selections are not available, I hope that improves, otherwise I like coming here. From my observation, the branch is certainly developing more and more towards a modern standard, as I know it from other branches. Keep it up! The Coca Cola with popcorn or passion flavor that is currently available tastes really good in my opinion, one of the best promotional products that Mc Donalds is currently offering, definitely try it before the promotion is over, definitely worth it.

One of the best McDonald's I've ever seen. Toilet was clean and service was 1 a. You rarely see such nice service people. A little heart was painted on my latte. You just notice how nice the service is. We'd love to come back when we're in the area again. :)

An absolute disgrace in the MC Drive in Itzehoe. If the ice cream order hadn't been for my son, I would have refused to buy it. The request or question was polite if it was possible to get a portion more chocolate sauce with the MC Sunday. Of course you also have to pay for this. As many others have already written: The food is just McDonald's - I like it and have never had any reason to complain about the food itself. BUT the guest room: tables and benches/chairs are often crumbly, greasy, disgusting! How often does this have to be reminded? Often enough, staff would apparently be available to provide relief with a cloth. Hopefully things will look different in the kitchen...

The service was super nice because we mistakenly ordered too many fries but not enough drinks. But rarely have I seen such an unkempt and dirty shop, all the tables were dirty, even the chairs and benches... and you could have eaten off the floor, there was enough of everything lying around... not to mention the toilets

Relaxed eating was not possible because a group of short people had taken over the outdoor area. It was loud and unpleasant and the staff didn't do anything, even though the children weren't even guests.

The majority were ok, only half of the order was wrong. We got the exact opposite on our burger with extra requests, we ordered two of the same drinks and got two different ones and our dessert was wrong. But we couldn't check anything because it was to take away. Service was otherwise quite nice but slightly confused. Before you go, check your food!
