McDonald's in Bad Bentheim

Modern McDonald's. Buying a single burger on-site is possible, but there's a wait. Ordering online is impossible. We occasionally order from work. Not once has the order been complete! A missing sauce is annoying, recently a portion of fries was missing, which was bad. Today, two sets of six nuggets were missing. When we complained, citing our online order number, we had a very unpleasant discussion about whether the nuggets had even arrived. In the end, we hung up and did without the nuggets. Update: Things have been better lately. And eating in at McDonald's is excellent. I recently had the best Royale Tessa there. Everyone was friendly. It probably depends a bit on the day.

Like any McDonald's. Unfortunately, the wait times were very long. We just wanted a coffee, but you can't order directly at the counter at the McCafé like usual. So we had to wait a long time because the people in front of us had to get their menus first.

Very good McDonald's with plenty of staff who speak good German. And no annoying noise in the large outdoor area!!! Relatively new - estimated 2024.

Unfortunately, it's very, very slow. The cars in the drive-up are sent further on purpose so that the long wait isn't recorded. For three burgers, you wait over 30 minutes.

The toastie was flat. The Franzbrötchen wasn't fresh.

Order online at 8:00 AM, it will be open. Staff won't arrive until 8:45 AM... Food won't be ready until 9:00 AM. Fast food?

Actually, it's pretty good. The staff are friendly, but unfortunately, sometimes the order is wrong. Otherwise, everything's great.

We were here again this morning (as we often do) on our way home from Denekamp. 🙃 It's now a must-stop. 😄 The staff is always very friendly, the store is always spotlessly clean, and the food is excellent and without any complaints. So, double thumbs up. 💯👌 A+ every time. I've never experienced anything like this in the OWL district of Bi/PB. 😭 That's how it should be. Thanks to the whole team! 😘😎

UPDATE‼️ We've been there several times to get takeout. Some times everything was fine, other times a little something was forgotten. Today we had a larger order! Luckily, I noticed in the car that one of the burgers was missing. It had been set aside. My boyfriend went in and got it, but unfortunately, he didn't check his order closely... because when we got home (we drive about 15 minutes each time), he noticed that two items that were part of a meal were missing. Valued at €20! Absolutely unacceptable. It's only human to forget something, but it feels like almost every time? I don't know if this is some kind of scam by McDonald's, but it's enough. The food is already ridiculously expensive, and then they don't pack things with it! 🤬🤬🤬 It's sad enough that you have to check your order every time!! Unfortunately, I haven't been there myself, but I'm giving it a bad review because apparently there's no delivery service to our street! Even though we live in Bad Bentheim (right by the castle). A colleague at work lives practically around the corner; she can use the delivery service, but we can't. It's outrageous to then advertise on our site, but then not make it possible to deliver to us in Bad Bentheim, where the restaurant is apparently located. Yeah, that really makes me angry. In the town where I lived before, that wasn't a problem, despite the distance. Apparently, it is here.

Beautifully renovated store, very clean. One of the first McDonald's where the burgers weren't completely smashed together in the box.

The best McDonalds I know. Food is always fresh and ready quickly. Service is super friendly. Everything is also always neat and clean. A week ago I went to the McDonald's in Cologne, everything was the other way around... no friendly staff, dirty tables. A burger that was already half falling apart. Totally different from here. We always like to eat there.

Absolutely ridiculous not to be recommended waited 40 minutes in the drive-through so if your life time is precious don't go here to eat an absolute flop

We had breakfast here. The entire place was empty, but we still had to wait over 30 minutes for our food. The orders were also incorrect. And you have to be careful in the women's restrooms, as the left door gets stuck when you leave!!! Not recommended if you're in a hurry.

A very modern and chic McDonald's. Beautifully designed interior and a spacious and inviting outdoor area. Orders can be made via the kiosks and picked up at the counter for takeout, or delivered to your table for dine-in. The restrooms are well-designed, allowing you to reach the sinks without having to go through any doors. You can separate your waste at the waste disposal station. The food and prices are as usual. We had to wait a while for our takeout order. There's an EWE GO electric charging station with four spaces right outside.

Saturday, 1 p.m. Everything was very clean. Great service, fast, and hot food. It would be nice if every McDonald's met at least this standard.

New, modern, and clean. It wasn't busy during our visit, so the food was ready quickly.

Meals have been incomplete or incorrectly served several times. Happy Meals without toys. Rotten apples for Happy Meals. Swapped 2 Meals for 2 chicken burgers...almost €4 short on product. They did swap them, but considering a 10 km drive and a second trip to swap them, that's really bad. During preparation, some people work without hairnets or even gloves. Leftovers are wiped off on their own pants. Simply abysmal for the prices!

McDonalds was very clean, looked really good, different than the normal locations. A lot of place outside and inside. Food was warm and tasted very good.

Incompetent staff. I've been waiting for my food for 30 minutes and nothing comes. Every time the employees come out and say drive up even further. Never come back 😒

The service is terrible. We waited for the order for 15 minutes and then it turned out that our order was not prepared at all. As an apology, they didn't even offer a pie. Instead of coffee, the water was brown. I do not recommend going to another McDonald's.

Everything was just very dissatisfied. Ordered with the app, waited over 40 minutes for the food and with three small children it was a real horror. Burger completely carelessly topped or simply slapped on top. Everything about the burger was outside and not on the patti. It's Good Friday and there's a lot going on, but we've never experienced anything like this. The door to the disabled toilet kept opening when it was supposed to be closed. By the way, I was only there because I had to change my baby! Still annoying.

So the staff is uncoordinated and even forgets the meat in the cheeseburger or even whole burgers. Nevertheless, when it works, it works properly. The orders app in particular works great and runs perfectly. Unfortunately, the MC Drive isn't quite as good, but the store is nice and even more futuristic than the MC Donalds in Nordhorn, Ibbenbüren and Gronau.

Often cold, at the drive in you sometimes wait more than 30 minutes for your order, in the store even longer, next time I'd rather go to KFC in Emsbüren. Even if it is further away.

Order at McDrive: the food you order is never completely in the bag. Something is always missing (even a bottle of water) or the food is cold when you get home (3 minutes drive). Even when ordered at the terminal, something is often missing. The McPlant nuggets are terrible, the McPlant burger is delicious. We only order fries without salt because the fries with salt have often been waiting in the bag for minutes and are cold. It's a shame that there are always problems that aren't fixed.

I picked up food in the drive... When I got home (after a 4 minute drive) the food was cold, the fries were missing and the burgers had the wrong toppings.

I asked for a menu at the window but my order never fully arrived. I order nuggets and they give me a hamburger from the kids menu and I order a burger without onions and they always put onions in it. The service is terrible.

Service was slow, but otherwise rest was like in typical Mcdonalds.

A juice shop like the one in Buche. I can't think of anything else... You ask specifically whether you could make a certain product fresh, and they say no problem, and you still don't get it fresh, just an old chicken patty! The 20 nuggets were also made fresh! Then throw the damn chicken patty in the fryer!

The employees are absolutely courteous and polite. Top! The ambience is a bit too cool for my taste but that's probably a matter of taste. When it comes to food, I'm generally not a burger fan and since there aren't too many other dishes, I'm always a bit lost here. But you're welcome to stop here on your way there or back to/from NL. 👍

Nice new McDonald's. Nothing special. In the evening it can be full and therefore the tables are not necessarily clean. Everything okay.

The food was classic as always at the big fast food chain, nothing special. The coupons used to be nicer, but today the situation has taken it to that extreme. I only drove through the drive. In contrast to many other locations, it was spacious, clean and easy to drive on, even with a lower car. Can't say anything about the situation inside, but I wanted to praise the staff who were on shift at the drive-in this afternoon (December 26th, 2024). I've never had such a motivated and friendly colleague on the phone before; she also had a warm, quick small talk at the window. Likewise the friendly young man who brought me the food to the waiting parking lot - finally someone with a smile on his face, spoke in complete, really nice sentences and was careful when handing out the goods. He also very politely wished me a Merry Christmas. So there are still people who value their work! Big praise!

We waited a very long time for our order together with other customers. And this while it was not busy. And then end up with a bowl of (half undercooked) fries dripping in grease. Trash bin overflowing, mess, no staff??

Here is not only a good location to the motorway, but also the really wide parking lot 🅿️! The room is huge and has large display windows so you can keep an eye on your car. Dudel music is pleasantly not loud. Nice staff and everything meets McDonald's standards. Wheelchair accessible toilet and barrier-free doors, as well as parking spaces. In addition, the area around McDonalds is not densely built up and you can enjoy the beautiful view into the distance. I am very impressed and satisfied 😁 Five stars 🌟

Clean McDonald's, great staff - very child friendly.

Absolute disaster here, you order and wait 35 minutes. After asking, they say that the order is not in the system. The amount debited is shown to the bank and you are still waiting. They say it can always get worse, but this branch is really the last one.

McDonald's actually had a special joke here. And – remember – the table numbers are actually assigned multiple times. If no one believes me anyway, you have to go there yourself as long as it hasn't been corrected yet. Unfortunately I sat at the wrong table number 23 and the poor waitress (I feel a bit sorry for her) wasn't told that there was another table number 23 further back. Well, strangely enough, this results in problems with the app ordering to the table, who would have thought that possible...

At this McDonald's you shouldn't have any time pressure, and the term fast food doesn't apply here at all. It takes up to 20 minutes on Mc Drive

I went to a job interview at this restaurant and went to work for 4 hours on a Sunday, the manager Mohamed kept calling me to sign a contract to start working, he never called and didn't even say a word about it, what a lack of respect and consideration, I was not paid for the 4 am

Been to a German McDonalds for the first time in 10 years. Had a delicious McRib. And apple pie. (Such a shame that these are no longer available in the Netherlands). Much better than in the Netherlands. Super clean, toilets clean, floor not dirty, a complete relief. Really enjoyed it.

Royal TS menu ordered fries almost cold and soggy drink overloaded with ice cubes (request was without ice cubes) means less of Fanta, table dirty and under the table too. No straws are supposedly abolished. Patty response from male employee to complaint. No respect for women. If you are in a bad mood, the gentleman should change or terminate your employment relationship. Don't bother, I won't eat at this McDonald's again for the rest of my life

The worst McD branch in Germany: - The garbage concept, an outrage, the customer should separate their leftover food themselves - The service is underground: the terminal is mandatory, an order at the counter is harshly rejected. - There is no help at the self-service terminal. - Older customers are unwanted people. - it couldn't be more sophisticated. - I travel a lot in Germany and know McD branches in all federal states. - This is the worst - The franchisee Eckstein thinks this is all completely normal and doesn't accept criticism. - This is all about maximizing profits, the customer doesn't matter.

Dealing with customers is a disaster. The lack of communication and unfriendliness of the staff lead to a negative customer experience. It is important that companies invest in training to teach their employees how to treat customers appropriately.

Very neat McDonalds, well cleaned and maintained. Toilets are neat and the interior is neat and clean. The outside terrace is fantastic and the German quality is 10x better than the Dutch McDonalds. Definitely worth stopping here for food!

More spacious McDonald's, friendly staff, many ordering kiosks. The food was also fine, standard McDonald's food. Quite affordable this one, slightly cheaper than the one in the Netherlands I think. Smaller play attraction for the children outside, also more spacious outside to sit comfortably.

My question about coffee was answered in an outrageously incomprehensible way with one word, probably “terminal”. We felt like we were disturbing...

I had a burger without cheese and one with cheese. Had to wait at the front of the counter for 5 minutes while my food got cold at the table. They could have brought the burger to your table as a small apology.

People help but don't really feel like it

Good McDonalds close to the Dutch border. The ambience is nice and the food is like any other Mc's. The shortcoming of the store, like many other branches of the chain, is that paper towels cannot be used in the toilet, but the (disgusting) hand dryers can be used instead
