McDonald's in Detmold

They always forget something, usually sauces. When you're pressed for time and don't check, it's annoying. I expect they'd remember to include a mini mayo for almost a euro.

Eating out used to be better. Service honestly any other restaurant would go bankrupt. Ambience works. The most important thing is that you should visit the sanitary facilities before you order. An absolute disaster, the floor won't let you go. The walls are unclean and the hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. I honestly don't want to know how the products are prepared when the toilets are already ready 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 Absolutely not recommended

Yesterday I went to the drive-thru counter at McDonald's again and placed my order. The employee was again difficult to understand. I don't know if it was the intercom, but it was annoying. The drinks were handed over quite well, and they then asked me to wait in the stop lane. But it took a good 25 minutes from ordering to getting to the counter to get the food, and I just wanted the tomatoes and onions removed from the burgers or not to go on the food. Unfortunately, I discovered at home that the fries weren't really edible, as usual. A burger was missing for which I had paid a lot of money, and there were tomatoes on it too. The smallest chip shop is better organized than the store, and it was better in the past, which I hope will be the same again.

The food is always great. The service is also top-notch. The restrooms are terrible... unfortunately.

Bad all around. Price-performance ratio is not right. Performance is even worse than the average McDonalds. The terminals are not working properly. The displays to show the order are not working. The toilet is disgusting. The last two times I ate there, parts of the order were missing. Not recommended 👎

I was able to copy the first part from someone else: I ordered food, waited about 35 minutes, then went to the checkout and asked how long it would take. Then he takes my receipt, gives it to an employee and ONLY THEN WILL MY order be processed. The monitors with the order numbers did not work. Toilet dirty and urinals all dismantled or one covered with foil. The employee at the counter who had something to say was very nice and apologized twice.

Full shop, few employees, I feel sorry for the poor employees and can't do anything about the poor service. Waited 40 minutes for the order, 1 McSmart menu and a Mc Flurry and left the store with already melted Mc Flurry and one fries too few. When I picked up my food from the counter, I was approached by another employee to ask whether that was really my order... A really great experience here.

Was at M's last night around 1 o'clock. Had to wait almost 20 minutes for 2 TS Royal to take away. When I complained and asked why it was called a QUICK RESTAURANT, they just shrugged their shoulders. The burgers were almost cold and the patties tasted like tough rubber. For these prices I demand reasonable burgers. MAC. D. in Detmold you can't recommend anyone. Just a slow mess.😏🙄

Employees are very unfriendly and always forget items in the order. Night shift doesn't feel like doing his job and demands to order quickly or drive away, even though McDrive is empty.

Really disappointing. The only McDonalds in Detmold and the surrounding area and not only is it not open 24/7 like every other branch in some shit shop in Germany, but it also cheekily closes before the official closing times. I have rarely experienced such an unmotivated and inconsistent way of working. Even customers in the Augustdorf, Oerlinghausen, etc. area are dependent on this incompetent branch, which only makes the consequences of this refusal to work even more fatal.

At peak times, the monitors with the order numbers are switched off and the ordered food is often simply placed on the counter and nothing is said. On a Friday evening saw how ice was constantly being thrown away because people didn't see or hear their number. And all of this to meet your delivery times. Food waste x10. Just sad.

You constantly wait for ages in the McDrive and the food always tastes as if it had been lying around for 10 minutes... after waiting for over 20 minutes in the McDrive and the McDrive employee then comes out to ask what I had ordered is probably the last thing... Next time look at your monitor which should have been blinking for 20 minutes!! If you can avoid Mcs... you'd better go to Steinheim!

The tables and floor are very dirty today. The food is delicious but the service is bad. You will stand at the order counter for a long time until someone comes up. Update: Ordered through the McDonald's app this time with PayPal. Everything worked and the order was prepared in 15 minutes. Dont get me wrong, i love it when i got inside the entrance is beautiful and so stylish and it always makes me sturdy and dancin' but anyways.. i ordered 2 McSmart Double Chickenburger and side fries, and 2 sprite and also some ketchup for dipping but there is so dipping service for ketchup and i tear it open and done (btw i learn from actually a famous chef) and this "the" Double McSmart Double Chickenburger is actually really good but let me tell you in USA and Germany the burger will get soggy no crisp from the chicken, in right now its actually perfect meal. It crispy from the chicken sweet and spicy sauce that ive never knew it but it's fine and crisp from the lettuce and also forget the fries they crispy, enough salt and hot 🔥 and sprite taste really good and i signed in with my McDonald's app and earned points, and i might come back this fast food and my overall rating 13/10 and also the they bring our meal so fast when im on toilet to finish and head to table and overall lobby rating, easly 24/10, also when my drink it has some lines of what idk maybe dust or hair that gives me 4/5 but overall its all good.

Much of the food is simply not edible. During service, they never provide lids for drinks or straws for drinks. Tough savings on napkins. Teaspoons for coffee are terribly dirty, and there are no wooden sticks to place them on.

Everything was great, the staff was friendly and helpful, the food was ready quickly.

The shift on August 31st is simply a disaster. Have ordered two new products McShaker Fries and The M Burger. For the McShaker Fries, they didn't want to give us the condiments that came with it, even though we paid for them, and just gave us regular sauce (you should get both). And with the burger you clearly understood that the meat was fried several hours ago out of laziness.

Don't get anything done. But the food is still good.

And again something is missing from my order. Of all things, the big M is simply not there. That never happened there before. Unfortunately now in 4 out of 5 orders. Can't unpack and check everything on site with a larger order. It's not worth going there again. Otherwise, the food itself is really good.

A cup filled to the brim with a liquid whose nature remained hidden was offered to us as refreshment. Confused and disappointed, my spirit was filled with resentment and my mind was weighed down by the burden of untruth. So Luisa Marie and I decided that we would never return to this place of deception and inferior refreshment. May you, dear reader, hear my warning and stay away from the golden arches, where the true meal of soul and body is denied, and instead seek the table of honesty and true enjoyment.

We ordered cake in the morning through liferando because we had visitors at home at lunchtime. We ordered the cake about 3 hours in advance. 30 minutes before we got the order delivered, an employee at the McDonald's branch called us and said that most of the cake was still frozen. Does Giliale imagine that we should have the cake? They don't deliver burgers frozen either. Then the branch should not offer the service if you cannot deliver the food that is suitable for consumption. We were very annoyed and will no longer use the service here in the future, it's a shame grade 6, failed :-(

So I was there with my husband and we ordered a simple menu. All of us. We would have to wait at least 45 minutes for our food. The service there leaves a lot to be desired. Furthermore, the staff was very unfriendly and it seemed as if the employees were completely overwhelmed. The women's toilet is in a catastrophic condition. Been there twice, complete disaster twice. We first cleaned the table ourselves and removed the dirt from previous customers, otherwise no one would have been interested. Extremely long waiting time, when you ask after half an hour you are first ignored and then insulted stupidly. The order wasn't even in the system, it was then completed "immediately" (wait another 15 minutes), but something was always missing so that in the end it had to be re-delivered 3 times! And even then you were looked at stupidly and there wasn't even an apology. So everyone could only eat their order in stages, unless you like cold food (it was only lukewarm but good). Overall, there were 2 chances and both were completely ruined. Never again

Unfortunately, one star is still too many! 99% of the employees do not speak German! If you have questions, you are ignored and only besieged with constant yeses, whether you were not understood. Had a bad experience at this place. First , waiting time, I ordered food and had to wait about 15 min to get it done. Afterwards, meals were cold, not what you expect from fresh just made now food. Sauce in Big Mac wasn’t available as it should be, burger was just dry as desert. Same was with Big tasty, wasn’t enough.

I ordered something to take away and only got half of it, unfortunately it was a little my fault that I didn't check it on site but it's impossible if I order something I want to have what I'm paying for so it wasn't the first time that I was ripped off

I would prefer to give 0 stars. Every time something is missing from my order. No wonder this branch has such a bad reputation. I really wonder if there are only €1 jobbers working there. I really waited an unusually long time for my 4 chicken burgers and 2x chili chese nuggets. Really sad service in my opinion... The burgers tasted strangely like garlic, I don't think that was intended. I hope the managing director implements this criticism and passes it on to his team.
