McDonald's in Dortmund

Ordered from the kiosk and received shortly after. The food, a McRib meal, was exactly as expected. The fries were better than at some other branches—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

They simply forgot the fries on delivery, and you can't reach anyone by phone... Yes, it might happen that something is forgotten, but in that case, you should at least answer the phone and deliver your service.

The staff is mostly friendly...

Vor über zwei Stunden dort bestellt mit der Bestätigungsmail das Essen wäre in 29 Minuten da. Nach einer Stunde dachte ich mir dann mal das ich dort anrufe. Natürlich ist das Telefon in dieser Filiale nur als Dekoration angebracht. Nach 1 1/2 Stunden hatte ich 54 mal angerufen, wobei das Telefon ab und zu als besetzt angezeigt wurde, jedoch bei mir nie jemand dran gegangen ist. Das Wort Inkompetenz ist wirklich noch ein unglaubliches Kompliment für manche Mitarbeiter in dieser Filiale. Als das Essen dann angekommen ist, waren die ,,Burger,, in alle Einzelteile zerlegt und nichtmal ansatzweise in Burgerform. Hätte nur noch eine Bauanleitungen gefehlt, dann hätte ich mir die Burger wie Bob der Baumeister selbst zusammen bauen können. Nach all der Enttäuschung beißt man dann in seinen kalten Burger und muss feststellen das die Mitarbeiter selbstverständlich nichtmal lesen können und doch Gurken auf die Burger gemacht haben, obwohl man überall angekreuzt hat das man keine haben möchte. Prost Mahlzeit haut rein.

A McDonald's like any other—but unfortunately, one of the worse. It was very cold inside, even though it was only 15 degrees outside. The air conditioning was running so hard that it was colder inside than outside. It was unfortunately not a pleasant experience.

In addition to the concert of screaming children, both inside and outside, the ambiance is evident in the attached photo.

What's up with the prices? Burgers are getting smaller and smaller, and prices are getting more and more expensive. Never again MC's. For that money, I could get proper food at a real restaurant! Charging so much for such garbage is bordering on insane. Everyone who supports this is out of their minds!

There's a great climbing frame outside and a small climbing tower inside. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to requests. The restrooms are a shame. There's no schedule for when they're cleaned, and it smells a bit dirty. One toilet seat was very loose. The tables and stools are screwed on. Unfortunately, dirt tends to accumulate here. Parking is very good.

I'm angry about it taking an hour for a couple of burgers through liferando! No one answers the phone, unbelievable.

On Saturdays, the interactive games area was not working at lunchtime, major credit cards were not accepted (Amex), self-service portals were not working properly (QR code scanner), and the entrance area was very dirty.

The last place. The food I ordered was cold. After complaining, they said it was normal and nothing could be done. So, the €30 worth of food went straight into the trash. The atmosphere, well, wasn't that clean. The fact that McDonald's allows this is a disaster.

The shop is quite small and filthy. There's dirt everywhere.

If you're passing through and need a quick bite to eat, it's great for a short stop, but getting there is a bit complicated. At first, you think you're going the wrong way, but then you're actually in the right place. The food was okay; one of my cheeseburgers was very squashed, and the other looked normal.

Absolute impudence to present such a store to the customers, I was a branch manager myself, this store is an imposition, already on arrival all the garbage bins overflowing, toilet stinks strongly of urine, store very dirty, when asked the branch manager a very nice lady said she would take care of it, the garbage is from yesterday outside as well as inside, the worst store in Germany that I have seen so far, ,

Everything's fine so far. Sitting outside is a bit annoying, though, as the drive-thru entrance leads through there. But after a visit to Decathlon, I'd happily go back.

Fortunately, the food is decent due to the standardized service. Unfortunately, there's no table service available at this location. I really appreciate this service elsewhere. Unfortunately, the restaurant is a bit small and dark compared to other MD restaurants.

Today were more than 30 degrees Celsius, the restaurant has no air conditioning it felt like hell in there. I can’t even imagine the conditions those people who work there have to endure. To be honest it’s the first McDonalds that I’ve seen with no air conditioning. Well I guess it’s standard practice here in Germany.

Terrible service from an employee... You ask a friendly question because you're having trouble with the app, and you don't even get an answer. She just turns around, continues working, and ignores you. After a very long wait, you finally get your food. Unfortunately, the nuggets were just as terrible... cold and soggy... Other nuggets, however, were still hot and crispy after about 10 minutes! This makes me wonder: how long did those soggy nuggets sit there before I got them?? Very annoying, we'll never go here again.

The staff are really friendly. But unfortunately, as a customer, you can immediately see that the team isn't well-trained enough. First, my four shakes were made 😆 in 26-degree heat, and 11 minutes later, my order was packed together. I politely asked for new shakes since they'd been waiting in the heat for 11 minutes. All the shakes were remade without grumbling or snarling. In total, the whole thing took 27 minutes, which I think is way too long for a fast food restaurant. They weren't really fresh, and neither were the chicken nuggets. Then there were three Happy Meals, one chicken wrap toy, two cheeseburgers, and two chicken burgers in a paper bag that, of course, ripped immediately. Instead of putting everything that goes with a Happy Meal into the Happy Meal carton, that would have been easier. Overall, the food wasn't good. I worked at McDonald's myself at 17, and so I can only shake my head and say, "Train your employees properly, make sure they're a team and work together. Everyone knows what they're supposed to do, otherwise it'll be a disaster like today." There was a lot of food on the floor behind the cash register, which didn't look hygienic.

The food was okay, standard MCs. Service was nice. Unfortunately, the restroom cleanliness was a disaster; the tray cart was full, and there were trays on the tables. Apparently, there isn't much time for other activities. Cleanliness is a must, even if we're talking about a fast-food chain.

We were not fooled by 3 things they are liars

Simply a juice shop today we were there with children, we ordered it didn't take long, then we went home because we wanted to eat at home and then realized that not everything we ordered was just a mess

Unbelievable, everyone is waiting for their food and is really hungry. After 1.5 hours, the Lieferando order was canceled without a single message. Not a single message or anything else. We'll never order from here again.

It is unreasonable to offer a Caramel Iced Coffee Shake for over €4, the filling of which consists largely of large ice cubes. After just two pulls through the straw, the cream and ice cream were already gone. Using crushed ice would have been more appropriate here. The actual value of the goods of 0.4 liters for over €4 is incomprehensible.

We like to have breakfast here from time to time, very nice staff. In comparison to other branches, I like this one best.

Ate a cheeseburger there today, they put more than 1 pickle in it😍 never experienced anything like that anywhere, really great. The employees are very friendly and nice.

It's a completely normal McDonald's, it was quick - but I don't give a pencil a 5* because it's drawing. At this point, I'm rating the McChrisp: Yuck Well, it looks completely different than the picture. The sauce tastes of many things, but not honey sauce, and there are so many shredded lettuce pieces on it, some of them already wilted, that they're oozing out all around with the nasty sauce. The very small bun with the piece of "meat" that's at least half breaded is barely manageable. Strangely, I found pieces of bacon on my burger, which I neither ordered nor liked. The cheese turned out to be absolutely tasteless and just added calories. There was no sauce at all on one half of the bun, but the meat slides around wonderfully. Since the burger barely holds together due to all the shredded lettuce anyway, it's best to eat it with gloves, or simply not at all. Apart from the fact that you can get "food" here quickly, I have nothing good to say.

We were there at night. The staff was really friendly. Unfortunately, the nuggets tasted very musty, as did the cola.

A total of 3 orders were processed at the same time and they managed to get 2/3 orders wrong. Got everything I DID NOT order. Of course I only noticed this at home... Those who received my package must have been happy.

Went there in the car today and ordered the cheeseburger smart menu with a single cheeseburger… So far, so good. After receiving the “food” and parking in one of the free parking spaces, it turned out that one of the cheeseburgers was TOTALLY SALTY (for whatever reason!!??). Since my wife likes to eat well-salted foods, I left her the cheeseburger I had started (I put the contents of my mouth next to the car in the parking lot). Result: my wife had severe stomach pain. By the way, half of the cheeseburger went into their trash can...

Absolutely unfriendly staff You then have to pay for things that were forgotten when you ordered and then you still get the wrong thing

I just wanted to order my order, which was generated via my cell phone, via the MC Drive counter... Apparently not available! But the best is yet to come.... Then I'm asked the question "online or coupon?" What's the question now? Every time we want to get something there, something is always wrong... Either something is missing from the order or we don't even get around to ordering it!

IIIIIH, ate here today, but unfortunately didn't enjoy it to the end. At first the wrong wrap was given out (but was exchanged without any problem), but with the two drinks you couldn't figure out which was the Cola Zero or the normal Cola because there was no taste at all either the fries tasted like they were twice fried in a bowl or were raw like in the picture. Unfortunately, the toilets were not usable due to the lack of cleanliness.

Not recommended!! Fries cold!! 20 nuggets (the hot ones) half fresh half cold and old. Just don't buy that many!! Absolutely not recommended!!

Consistent quality, great app and special promotions. Every now and then, always good in between.

Well first of all I have to say that the food is really rancid. Far too little. The burgers were much bigger back then! The service is really unbelievable! If I were homeless I wouldn't go here! The staff are totally unfriendly! Really rancid equipment! The furniture is really shit! There is hardly anything for children to keep themselves occupied with. Not recommended!!!! Only the ice cream is good. And the cola tastes like Ratzinger cardboard!!!

Several times now I have received food that I did not order and the food that I wanted never arrived.

I have never experienced anything as unfriendly as there!!! The woman with the black hair is the highlight!! She couldn't open her mouth. No hello, no goodbye. Came across as very annoyed when she HAD to talk to me... I wasn't even allowed to think about what I wanted!!!!! Annoyed every time...,, yes, what else?" Even the man, he stood there and didn't even serve me, looks at me and walks away even though he was standing at the checkout...Where can you get something like that???? The food was delicious as always… but the service was a disaster! I'd rather go to another McDonald's nearby.

Oh, everyone complains about bland food but Mc'D is always full. I love the stuff as long as it's fresh...so whatever. Everyone has different tastes and that's a good thing

The card payment terminal is not working...

So if you order food NEVER AGAIN, I ordered today at 2:36 p.m. via Lieferadeo and it still hasn't been delivered, it's supposed to come around 4:00 p.m THAT'S LEAST 90 MINUTES you don't have any drivers or what!!!! IMPOSSIBLE

No table service, even though it's a relatively small branch, the ambience isn't really great, as it's a bit cramped due to the small size. Staff/service at the counter, however, is very quick. What caught my eye positively was a Lieferando driver who held the door open for my son and me, even though our bags were full.

All in all, 3+ from me. Toilets were clean so far, but the smell was strong. I can't say what happened there. It smelled like manure. But only there. Otherwise the food was delicious, the service was a bit overworked but friendly.

If the toilets didn't smell like a train station toilet and the empty trays were cleared away regularly then 5 stars would have been justified... because there wasn't much to do that day but there were 4 employees who were having fun instead of looking around... sorry

The waiting times are usually solid and reasonable. Very rarely do you wait more than 5 minutes in total. This has definitely developed positively. So far we've only had one burger missing. The rate is therefore well over 90%.

Well, a Mc'D as we know it, sometimes long waiting times, which is well known. Food corresponds to what you know from this chain.

Ordered there for the 3rd time and only got half price again

So very bad service, every order has to be checked to make sure everything is correct. E.g.: Ordered chicken burger without salad and received salad but no sauce. If they can't read they have to learn and there was nothing going on otherwise you could have said yes it was because of the stress. And that wasn't the first time, unfortunately

I'm sorry, but you just have to comment on this. This is the very last store. Walking in the store. Rats through the kitchen in the garbage cans are also rats everywhere. The food there has never tasted good. It's simply the closest McDonald's to where you live, which is why you always considered it, and was now in the hospital for a week and a half with food poisoning, probably because of the McDonald's. Let me start with the food: the burgers were positioned crookedly in the cardboard box, which made it difficult to remove them cleanly. The lattice potatoes we ordered were cold and contained a very large portion of regular fries. I had chosen an ice cream in advance in the app, but unfortunately it wasn't available. When we wanted to choose a table, I discovered that there wasn't a clean table! I then asked an employee to clean a table for us, which he did. Then at least the salad leftovers from the previous person were no longer on the table, but underneath! I then went to the toilet and that topped it all off! It was so dirty! And certainly not just since that day. Cobwebs etc. in the corner of the door... I was very disappointed with the visit! I then bought my chosen ice cream at the branch in Holzwickede.

Again I couldn't order my ice cream the way I wanted. The team is nice. Ambience is as always.

Even the store management was very unfriendly to us and they drove back 3 times because there was always something missing in the bag. Then they made stupid comments about it and that doesn't work at all. I also passed it on to the newspaper so that people know that they don't have to go there You'll sleep like the last one, keep in mind that publicity should come to you so that customers go there. Hope we get compensation

4 guys Inside and 15 minutes wainting for food

Ate at MC Schleefstraße today around 1700. Despite the large number of customers, service was friendly and quick. Quick solution to small reorders, goods are fresh and hot. Staff team very good work and general cleanliness appropriate to the busy situation. Thumbs up...gladly again. It's great that we were finally able to choose a milkshake instead of Cola in the menu again and a special compliment for the very tasty Caesar style salad sauce... that's how it works and that's how it works. Maybe colleagues from the catering industry should try out how this dressing works!!!

Surprisingly, the food was extremely tasty and seemingly very fresh. The vegan nuggets had a real crust. I haven't had such a delicious meal at McDonald's in a long time. By the way, the new Bic Mac sauce for dipping tastes very good.

Most of the time the toilets are relatively clean for a McDonald's. But not always. There are committed employees here and those who seem to just waste their time. On our last visit the kids had a gummy bear hamburger. Of course they were happy about that. What annoyed me was that the door to the area under the slide (outside area) was open. But there is a locking mechanism. One child imprisoned another. When the staff were informed, they only said that the door was closed and the children didn't have to go to it. Ha ha ha. In my opinion, a castle belongs there. If we had sat inside and the children played outside, we would not have noticed that a child was locked up...Children try things out and need a safe environment.

Food usual McDonald's quality. Toilets very unclean, no towel paper, hand dryer broken. Order terminal did not work properly. No table service, long waiting time. Order not received correctly, complaint was resolved quickly and easily. Staff friendly.

The worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The order took 40 minutes. The dark-skinned employee was very slow, and she also tried to be insolent. When we finally got our order, the food was barely warm. There is an unpleasant smell in the toilet. There is nowhere to put the dirty trash, everything is littered. Are you McDonald's, seriously?

Now that the tables are there, it's not really clean. Anyone who orders something should check it in the store and complain about it immediately. Depending on the time of day, it sometimes happens that goods are dead or no longer fresh.

Update: April 24, 2024 Not my style to give such bad reviews. Especially since I visit this store again and again (I don't know why, it's just on the way home). Everyone has a bad day sometimes. But here it is almost a permanent condition. Today I placed my order via the app so I could easily drive through the drive. When I got home I noticed that three hamburgers, a French fry and mayonnaise and sweet and sour sauce were missing. In addition, one chicken burger and the other fries were cold. Two burgers were inevitably warm as they were personalized and therefore had to be made fresh. With an order of €35, almost a third are not in the bag. The unpleasant culmination was the diarrhea after eating it. But hygiene has already been mentioned several times by other guests here. Seems there's some truth to it. underground! Maybe the franchisee in charge is slowly starting to think about it and is paying attention to the reviews of many people who are still leaving a lot of money in their restaurant these days. Not always well prepared. (old) New review: (old) previously three stars now only one. As all visits in the recent past have involved at least one burger being wrong in the order. But the highlight was this week. We simply leave out some of the bread from the Bigmac.
