The milkshake was a bit too sweet, but better that way than the other way around. I had water with me, so I diluted it. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.

MOLD! DISGUSTING! NEVER EAT FROM THERE AGAIN

The waitress doesn't understand German and needs colleagues to translate. We ate in the restaurant; everyone before and after us had their order brought to our tables, and we were told to wait at the front. The fries were cold and soggy, the chicken nuggets were also lukewarm and the breading was soggy. The double cheeseburger was completely smashed, and the ketchup was running down the side. The music was extremely loud, which forced people to talk louder, and the overall noise level was very loud. Staff were shouting in the back. The tables were dirty and the tray carts were full.

I was there on September 2nd to buy four regular burgers. After 20 minutes, I approached the store manager, who simply ignored us because there were others waiting in front of me. To be honest, 23 minutes for three cheeseburgers and one chicken burger is just not acceptable, and it wasn't crowded. When I complained to the staff, they simply gave my order priority over the others, which isn't right either, since they had ordered before me. The burgers were lukewarm, so that's just not acceptable. I'd prefer not to give them any stars for service.

Ordered from Wolt and delivery by car was very fast, but unfortunately the meal, as well as the nuggets and another burger, were already cold. Outrageous!

First, I waited almost 30 minutes for my takeout order, and then a burger was missing. It's been noticeable for some time that McDonald's has been slowing down. It's certainly possible that mistakes are happening now, but it's still incredibly annoying when you don't notice them until it's too late in the car. It's still okay for grabbing something to eat every now and then, but in my opinion, the service level has deteriorated significantly compared to before.

Unfortunately, orders are often incomplete at the drive-thru counter. You should definitely always check the bags. Unfortunately, we've been there three times in August 2025, and each time, items worth €6-7 have been missing. Usually, they're wraps or burgers. With a toddler, you can't always walk into the restaurant, and you can't get back into the drive-thru lane when there are seven cars. The atmosphere is 5-star, though, and the staff are friendly, although turnover is very high.

McDonald's has generally declined. The meat patties are getting thinner and thinner, and there's very little sauce on the hamburgers 🍔. The top is usually completely dry and tastes like cardboard. Fries and chicken nuggets are the only things that are still okay. The price-performance ratio at McDonald's 🐟 is too high.

I was eating there with colleagues and had points on my app, which I redeemed to order 20 nuggets. When my meal arrived, the nuggets weren't there. I reported them missing, claiming I hadn't ordered them, but I got them anyway, with the comment, "If they're cold, it's your fault." If you could replace people, it would be in that store.

On my last visits there, I was always courteously and served very quickly. I was always offered table service for my meal in the restaurant. That's very nice. The restaurant is very clean and tidy. Tables with leftover food from previous guests are cleared away very quickly. The waste station offers a separation option, unusual for McDonald's. I enjoy returning here as a regular guest.

The worst MC's there is. Incompetent and arrogant staff whose shoes you could resole while working. Always huge waiting times.

Good restaurant, friendly and nice staff, fast ordering and great food

We had to wait a long time even though there were hardly any customers. The food was cold, and the burgers were incorrectly or incompletely topped.

Worst McDonald's I know in Cologne. The service can't keep up with orders. The Coke tastes like dishwater, "not enough syrup" or something. The burgers are either half-empty or arrive cold. Something is always missing, which is typical of McDonald's, but it's really common here.

My goodness, the staff here are unfriendly. If you order coffee and want it in a cup because you also drink it indoors, you simply don't get it. They're just so unfriendly.

Since the renovation, the restaurant has unfortunately deteriorated significantly. The children's area was removed, as were the tablets and televisions. The seating area has also been significantly reduced and no longer invites people to linger – which used to be its biggest draw. Instead, the kitchen area has been enlarged, and the focus is now on takeaway food rather than on a guest- and child-friendly fast-food restaurant. It's a real shame – this excessive efficiency takes away the charm of the restaurant.

The food served at the McDrive was decent. But what are you doing at the McDrive?! The food is served at a third window. It looks like that's the hallway to the restrooms. It seems totally weird.

Just a burger. The employee was very nice. Burgers, as always, were a gamble.

Our nuggets were bone dry and rock hard! The staff was extremely unfriendly. We couldn't even ask our question, and all the employee said was a provocative, totally unfriendly, "Have a good trip."

I was a regular at your McDrive until today... The nuggets had probably been sitting for hours, so they certainly tasted good. Five minutes later, we got a McFlurry. I was about to say something, and the older gentleman (second counter) gave me a really rude look and interrupted me. All I got was a cheeky "Drive on, bye."

I've avoided McDonald's for the past few years because the quality just isn't what it was years ago. Today I went back to McDonald's, and the food was incredibly fresh and exactly as it should be. The staff were great, too.

The wait was long, but since it was very busy, that was bearable. What's not bearable, however, is that ALL the food was cold (not lukewarm, but simply cold). Big Macs were cold, hamburgers were cold, and fries were cold. After complaining, they made a new one. However, I was treated like a supplicant and had to put up with the stupid question of whether I wanted to complain about the Coke because it was cold. Conclusion: I'll avoid that place in the future.

I went to the McDonald's drive-thru and got the wrong order twice. If I hadn't checked, everything would have been wrong. Last time, two burgers were simply forgotten. The fries were practically white, cold, and had a really strange consistency. The burger wrappers looked like they had been dropped. The burgers didn't look any better! The Coke cap wasn't on properly, and everything spilled into my car! That was my last time at McDonald's! The good thing is, not much can go wrong now, so thank you for nothing!

Quite a long wait for “fast food”

Generally too expensive for food of this quality, in my opinion!

So, unfortunately, I ordered takeaway and didn't check if everything was there. In the car, I noticed that the food was already cold.

I ordered my food to be delivered to the parking lot. The young man didn't even say hello. He came to the car, turned away, and spit while holding my food, ready to hand it to me in the parking lot. I've rarely experienced anything so disgusting, and it's simply unacceptable, not even for McDonald's.

What good are app coupons if you can't even order extra cheese? Rude staff. When I asked if I could buy extra cheese, I was told it was only possible with a burger. When you could still order from people, there were no such problems.

The food was dry as hell. We ordered a burger, but it arrived without salad or sauce. We then ordered ice cream at the counter and handed the receipt to the cashier. Unfortunately, the cash register was broken again. The food takes a long time to arrive, and the workers are disrespectful. I really don't like going to McDonald's here.

Food as usual, The restaurant was dirty and very loud due to the music blaring. I looked for the dance floor and the bar to order my rum and coke.

Unfortunately, I've often received cold burgers or nuggets. When I addressed the issue, the salesperson became rude and said that couldn't be right. I don't really understand that. Only by addressing a problem can the situation improve. In the future, I'll spend my money elsewhere.

The wait wasn't long for the food, and it was still warm. Although it wasn't busy, many tables weren't cleared, and the free ones were unfortunately dirty. Ketchup and grease stains were everywhere. The food was good and tasty by McDonald's standards, but there was nowhere to sit. Everything was dirty and uncleaned. Update, after a year: The food was good again, warm, and just prepared. BUT the Coke was diluted and UNCOOKED! I think they prepare the drinks with ice cubes to speed things up. But if a drink sits too long, the ice cubes melt, and the Coke tastes completely like water and is uncarbonated. I complained. I don't recommend it anymore!

I wanted 2 chicken burgers and got an Adana plate and a falafel kebab and a chocolate ice cream without chocolate sauce and I was treated badly by an employee😢

Unfortunately, half of the order is missing, and although we received some of the remaining items when we asked, three things were still missing. The employees here are unfortunately completely overwhelmed. Yes, it was busy, and I understand, but I still gave McDonald's money unnecessarily because no employee had any more time. How can you make so many mistakes in just one order?! We ordered two McDonald's meals. One was missing fries and the other was missing curly fries. Unfortunately, we didn't notice until we got home. And on top of that, they packed a regular Big Mac instead of a double, and the nuggets were beyond cold!! How many more mistakes could have been made here? You could call five times and the phone would stay in that McDonald's decor. Absolutely disorganized McDonald's!

The employees were so stressed that they were constantly yelling at each other in the kitchen. It wasn't a "quick, cleansing storm," but rather it went on for about 30 minutes. I hardly dared to say that my order wasn't complete. It felt like everyone was working in the kitchen at the same time, and the tables were completely dirty. The fries were unseasoned.

This is my "BBQ sauce" for my Big Tasty Bacon BBQ. I don't know whether to laugh or cry 😂 Honestly, if I pay extra for this, I'm going to give it a miss. Thanks, McDonald's 👍🏻

Unfortunately not recommended for the breakfast offering. After 10 minutes of waiting, I was told that the bread for the Big Morning was unfortunately out and I was offered Fresh Chicken as a replacement, without refunding the price difference. The fresh chicken was prepared so quickly that the bread was cold and untoasted and the patty was unfortunately cold. You should work on that.

3 windows on MC Drive?? Burger reasonable and the guy at the counter at the third window (huh??) also unfriendly! Food should actually be thrown right back in his face!

It's a Mcs which is okay but not really special

Of course it is and remains a McD - but it is clean and spacious; Only the toilets should be checked a little more often and have been a bit small since the renovation. What I think is really great here is the staff. There seems to be a good mix of students and permanent employees who get along well. The employees are courteous (as far as possible in a fast food establishment) and friendly. The interaction with each other also seems to be good. Keep it up!

I'm not a McDonald's fan but I was there because of my family

Unfortunately not a nice McDonald's. The store was very dirty and the staff was unfriendly! The food was only lukewarm.

We were very disappointed with the service at this McDonald's. When we bought Happy Meals, our children received exactly the same toys, even though different versions were advertised in the display. When we asked to exchange at least one of them, we were told there were no others. Only after a persistent inquiry and the suggestion to take the advertised toy out of the display case was the desired toy suddenly found. Dealing with customers like this leaves a bad impression - especially when it comes to children's menus in which toys play a major role. We hope that management pays attention to customer service and ensures order in the range.

Probably the worst branch in Cologne!!!!!! Very bad service! Rude when you complain that the order is not complete. And you can listen to the saying “it can happen”. But now it happens 5-6 times in a row!!!!! Every time at least one part of the order is missing, sometimes a burger, sometimes a drink, sometimes 7-8 nuggets are missing from the 20 chicken nuggets, then people forget to put toys in the happy meal... I have the impression that people do this specifically... And what's more, the shop is rarely clean... there are tablets full of rubbish on the tables, tables are glued together... Seriously, the employees in this store should learn to work properly and correctly.

We waited 50 minutes for the order to be completed, but part of the order was not delivered. The potatoes were not salted. There are no napkins or straws. Our order today was 240.

*Never again*. We were there and waited 20 minutes at the checkout for STAFF. When someone finally arrived we thought it would be quick but NO, we waited 45 minutes and they forgot half of the things. When we pointed this out to them, they were more than disrespectful and complained to us. Plus there were hardly any seats and some burgers had FLOUR on them!! Ten horses won't get me in anymore

This facility is a disaster. Slow, disorganized and very unprofessional.

The branch isn't exactly clean. Waiting time unusually long for McDonalds (not fast food). What I can't understand, however, is that you have to wait a long time for your order and that it is then cold. Long waiting times and cold burgers and fries. Plus point: the decoration was adapted to Easter.

Best McDonald’s branch ever! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've been to many McDonald's restaurants, but this one really tops them all! It's spotlessly clean - so clean you could theoretically eat off the floor. There are fresh flowers and lovingly designed Easter decorations on the tables, which creates a really pleasant atmosphere. But the best thing: the food! I didn’t know McDonald’s could be THIS delicious. Everything was fresh, hot and just perfect. I would have paid more without hesitation, it was that good! The team is also exceptionally friendly and attentive - you really feel welcome here. I absolutely don't understand where the bad reviews come from. For me, this is the best McDonald’s I’ve ever been to!

As an external delivery courier you have to wait in a room where you can't even stretch out your feet. This room is extremely narrow, gray, dreary, like a prison cell. Several drivers feel very uncomfortable and psychologically stressed there. The staff tends to make fun of complaints about this (especially this, in my opinion, arrogant 45-year-old Iranian shift manager) when you bring it up. Well, they didn't design this mess. Degrading ***** room.

Who doesn't know it: Yiehper on McD... every few months. What can I say, something was missing every time I visited the DriveIn, I'm starting to think it's a scam! Today the fries were on 2 of 2 menus. A vanilla milk shake was also ordered: the employee probably started with chocolate and then added vanilla 🤬

And again part of the order is missing from the DriveIn. Not for the first time. This only happens to me in this branch. Unfortunately I didn't check it, which I usually do. I can only recommend everyone to check everything.

Everything takes far too long, when I ordered to eat there the food was packed in my door. And very dirty catastrophic.

Mini pancakes so hard you can throw them at the stadium. When they were told they just said, bad luck, they waited too long. NOTE: first check your food and then start consuming it.

Clean restaurant and the first McDonald's I've been to where you couldn't see the kitchen. It was quite pleasant not to hear the usual McDonald's kitchen beeps.

This is the biggest dirty shop. The shop is dirty and filthy. We won't set foot in here again. Employees standing behind the counter instead of wiping the tables or clearing away the trash are simply disgusting.

When we got home we noticed a portion of potatoes and Chicken McNuggets were missing! We also chose a book as a gift for our child in the Happy Meal, but we received something completely different! I don't understand at all how something like this is possible... It's very disappointing - in the end we were simply cheated and robbed! Unfortunately it was too far for us to go back and clarify the situation. So be very careful and check your orders!!!

Newly remodeled and relatively clean. The food was freshly prepared and the staff was very friendly. However, as is often the case, the guests were rather untidy, inconsiderate and selfish.

Food was warm. Didn't want to pack my food that I wanted to take with me. Luckily I got a bag and was allowed to pack it myself.

The cappuccino is now a joke. Since the renovation, this has often been done somewhere in the kitchen, probably in a fully automatic machine. At least that's how it tastes. And after a minute the milk foam collapses and the cup is no longer even 1/3 full.

Food poisoning from food: Yesterday (12/16/24) I had dinner here with a family member. That same evening we both suffered from food poisoning. The proximity in time to the food and both of our symptoms excludes other foods than the ones we ate here.

Everything was clean and the service was quick. But you can't call something like that a Big Mac, more like a SMALL Mac, and the Double Chili Cheeseburger is actually a slider, and was almost cold. And then the prices: a water over € 4,-??? In total for 2 small burgers, 6 nuggets and a water € 19, - catastrophe.

Tables inside are far too small, fewer staff, you have to order via the touch screens, but then the food costs the same as if it were served to you. You have to wait a long time for service. You bring the food to the table, but even with 2 tablets the tables are far too small. No longer recommended. Because the hamburgers are now much too small anyway, people prefer to eat hamburgers where they are still made with love

Employees now have to get the food from the back. Previously they only had to reach behind them, tissue dispensers are now installed on the wall in the toilet. New concept absolutely not thought through properly, it's a shame. Even a call that was promised to my wife didn't take place.

This branch has been an absolute disaster for years - the staff is completely overwhelmed - parts of the order are always missing or there are the wrong burgers or sauces - this has been the case with every McDrive order so far! The tray return is always full, tables and benches are not wiped down, guests' trash is often still on the tables and the floor is dirty. You don't even want to talk about the toilets.

Disaster. Even though there is no one there at 12:45pm, the service and food are a disaster. Forget 3 things at once and then claim that everything was there? The table service consisted of the canteen master shouting the number of the person setting the table through the restaurant and you having to pick up your excess calories yourself at the counter.

Unfreundlich. Null Ahnung. Extrem langsam. Ich wollte einen einzigen Cheeseburger und habe mich nach 8 Minuten beschwert. Danach hatte ich eine schwere Grippe. Wie das wohl kommt. Der Boden im Bad klebt. Wird also nicht gereinigt. Klobrille fällt sofort runter, wenn man sie vorher reinigen will. Alles eklig, Service Mist. Essen Mist. Das reicht nun wirklich. Never ever!

I've known the shop for a long time.

Was there for the first time yesterday. Had breakfast with my husband. Wasn't disappointed! The MC Morning Chicken is highly recommended! The ambience is clean. With background music, which I like. The lady who brought breakfast to our table was friendly. I will eat there more often from now on.

I wanted to share a double menu with a friend. So far so good. When I asked for 2 straws for the drink, I was refused and said: we won't give out any more. New law blah blah...I don't understand what the difference should be between our drink and that of the others at the next table (all with straws)....ridiculous.

Big Mac menu with extra mayo and a cheeseburger ordered at the drive-in counter, Amsterdamer Straße. Rounded up from 11.90 to 13€, then politely asked at the pick-up counter whether another sachet of ketchup would be possible...only suitable for 50 cents 😀...Okay then not. The waitress is in a bad mood, only speaks broken German...it doesn't matter, I don't want to marry you. But when I unpacked the paper bags, the cheeseburger and the mayo packet were missing! Thank you very much By the way, everything was booked on the receipt!!!
