Im Vergleich zu Witten (wo man oft 30 Minuten wartet) ging es hier trotz großem Andrang super schnell – Respekt an das Team, wir haben keine 10 Minuten gewartet! Das Essen war top. ​Leider war es drinnen aber heißer als draußen. Es fühlte sich an wie eine Sauna, sodass ich mit meinen Töchtern nicht wie geplant drinnen bleiben oder sie spielen lassen konnte. Unerträgliche Luft! Auch den Mitarbeitern gegenüber ist das bei dieser Hitze nicht fair. Die Klimaanlage sollte dringend überprüft werden.

Sauber, schneller Service, freundliche Mitarbeiter

Früher waren wir sehr gerne in dieser Filiale. Hier haben wir sogar die Geburtstage unserer Kinder gefeiert und sind regelmäßig mit der Familie zum Essen gekommen. Die Filiale an sich ist eigentlich schön, aber leider hat die Qualität stark nachgelassen. Das größte Problem ist die Sauberkeit. Der Boden ist oft klebrig und wirkt dauerhaft verschmutzt. Ich war innerhalb eines Monats mehrfach hier, und der Zustand war jedes Mal derselbe. Man hat den Eindruck, dass die Reinigung nicht ausreichend erfolgt. Auch die Qualität des Essens hat nachgelassen. Bei meinem letzten Frühstück war das Brötchen so alt und hart, dass ich es zurückgeben musste. Frische Produkte sollten bei einer großen Kette wie McDonald’s selbstverständlich sein. Schade, denn früher sind wir wirklich gerne hierher gekommen. Inzwischen meiden wir die Filiale, und ich kann nachvollziehen, warum sie oft deutlich leerer wirkt als früher. Ich hoffe, dass Sauberkeit und Qualität wieder ernster genommen werden.

Im Winter keine Heizung und im Sommer keine Klimaanlage Personal sehr nett. Das raumklima ist eine Zumutung. Fur die Kunden und Mitarbeiter.

Eigentlich ja bislang unser Lieblings-McDonald's in Bochum... Nun darf man aber nur noch an den blöden Terminals bestellen, nicht mehr persönlich. Für mich ein absolutes No-Go, auch in Corona-Zeiten. Also nächstes Mal woanders hin. Schade...

Nur DriveIn genutzt, dort Wartezeit sehr lang

Keine Strohhalme auf Nachfrage, gibt es angeblich nicht mehr, WC nicht Barrierefrei und auch noch im ersten Stock nur durch Treppe zu erreichen.

Beeindruckender Mcs im Vergleich . Der Kollege der heute zwischen 21-22 Uhr am Schalter war hat gezeigt das man schnell, freundlich und effizient arbeiten kann . Selten so ein gutes Erlebnis gehabt bei einem Mcs ,wirklich vorbildlich

Quasi bei jedem Besuch sind Terminals defekt,zu 50 Prozent fehlen Sachen bei den Bestellungen und die Wartezeiten sind mittelmäßig.Jedes mal wenn ich hier hin fahre ärgere ich mich das ich nicht nach Gerthe weiter gefahren bin

Essen schon kühl, Personal total im Stress also keine Möglichkeit, außer nochmals langes warten, der Beschwerde. Tische Unsauber und schmierig.

Wirklich ein sehr schöner McDonald’s. Nette Mitarbeiter und guter Service. Hier wird man wenigstens ernst genommen. Der einzige negativ Punkt0 ist, dass die Schalter zum selbst bestellen gehangen haben beziehungsweise sehr langsam waren, weiß nicht genau woran das gelegen hat. Des Weiteren war anscheinend die Tinte von den Druckern leer, dass man seine Bestellung beziehungsweise seine Nummer nicht mehr lesen konnte. Ansonsten super, wir waren auf der Durchreise

Ich komme hier gerne mit meinem Sohn,nette Mitarbeiter und schönes,sauberes Restaurant.

Schlimmste Erfahrung meines Lebens. Mirarbeiter hat sich vor mir in die hose gefasst. Außerdem hatte ich ein Scharmhaar im der mayonaise. Und Fleisch war nicht Halal.

Ich war heute um 14:58 Uhr dort wollte am Drive ein Coupon einlösen Die Dame am hörree hat mich nicht verstanden wo ich lauter gesprochen habe Da kam der Management und meinte ich sollte zur Kasse fahren Und hat mich zur Sau gemacht warum ich laut rede sie gab mir nicht mal die Möglichkeit dss ich mich erklären konnte Ich hab ihr mehr Mals gesagt sie Kollegen sagte mehr mal ich höre sie nicht drauf hin meinte die damen Management ich sollte netter am Telefon reden und ihr Ton wurde lauter darauf hin ist mir auch das Appetit vergangen

Der Bestellvorgang war etwas verwirrend. Aber der Kaffee war sehr gut.

Es waren sehr viele Leute da, ein Bestellautomat war kaputt, wir mussten lange anstehen, um zu bestellen, aber die Bestellung wurde schnell bearbeitet!

Wir haben Ärger bekommen weil wir uns hoch gesetzt haben mit bestell Services und es war nirgendwo ausgeschildert das man das nicht darf die Mitarbeitern war sehr frech und nicht fähig für den Job

Schreiende Kinder, welche ueberall rumgerannt sind, die Eltern es nicht interessiert hat und dann noch ihren Muell ueberall hinterlassen haben. Ich weiss wieder, warum ich 10+ Jahre nicht mehr da war.

Das ist der FAULSTE McDonald's den ich je besucht habe, kein Tischservice selbst am Tisch vor der Ausgabe rufen die die Nummer anstatt das zu bringen Und ich habe Shaker freies bestellt aber normale bekommen

Unfreundlich!! Mein Besuch bei McDonald’s war leider alles andere als zufriedenstellend. Schon bei der Bestellung fing der Ärger an.Die Bestellterminals waren in einem miserablen Zustand wackelig und technisch extrem fehleranfällig. Die Eingaben haben ständig gehakt, sodass eine normale Bestellung kaum möglich war. Am Ende konnte ich beim Happy Meal nur die Spendenoption auswählen, weil alles andere sich nicht anwählen ließ. Als ich daraufhin zur Theke gegangen bin, um das Problem zu schildern und nach einer unkomplizierten Lösung zu fragen, ob mein Kind trotzdem das gewünschte Spielzeug bekommen könnte, wurden wir abgewiesen. Man verwies darauf, dass ich das genau so bestellt hätte und ich im Problemfall hätte den Vorgang komplett abbrechen sollen und vorne bestellen sollen. Ironischerweise wird man an der Kasse jedoch direkt wieder zu den Terminals geschickt. Diese widersprüchliche Organisation ist einfach nur frustrierend. Besonders enttäuschend war, dass selbst bei so einer technischen Panne keinerlei Kulanz gezeigt wurde. Es ging hier um ein simples Kinderspielzeug, das meinem Kind am Ende verwehrt blieb bei einem Unternehmen in dieser Größe wirkt das einfach kleinlich. Auch bei einer Kleinigkeit wie zusätzlichem Zucker für den Kaffee zeigte sich keinerlei Entgegenkommen,selbst das wurde abgelehnt. Insgesamt hinterlässt dieser Besuch den Eindruck eines unfreundlichen Betriebs mit wenig Kundenorientierung. Technische Probleme können passieren, aber der Umgang damit macht den Unterschied und der war hier leider sehr enttäuschend.

Ich bin wirklich enttäuscht. Das Essen wurde einfach lieblos hingeschmissen, nichts sah irgendwie appetitlich oder ordentlich aus. Die Burger wirken zusammengedrückt und schlampig belegt, die Pommes auch einfach reingeklatscht ohne Sorgfalt. So etwas erwarte ich selbst bei Fast Food nicht. Nach dem Essen hatte ich zudem Verdauungsprobleme, was das Ganze noch schlimmer macht. Für die Preise, die mittlerweile verlangt werden, ist das absolut nicht normal und steht in keinem Verhältnis zur Qualität. Insgesamt ein lustloser Eindruck, als ob sich niemand Mühe gibt. Das war definitiv kein gutes Erlebnis und ich würde so schnell nicht wiederkommen.

Hier ist immer sauber und ordentlich. Das Essen war frisch und lecker, genau so, wie man es erwartet. Das Personal ist freundlich. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Personal immer unfreundlich, obere Etage immer geschlossen, obwohl oben die Kinderecke ist. Kinder werden wenn sie oben in der Kinderecke spielen wollen, weggeschickt auf sehr unfreundliche Art. Falsches Spielzeug im Happy Meal erhalten, wollte erst nicht umgetauscht werden, obwohl die doch einen Fehler gemacht haben, oft sind Sachen falsch auf dem Tablett. Ich finde das ist einer der schlimmsten McDonalds Filialen.

Mac eben sind fast alle gleich gut außer die Sauberkeit mache besser ✌️✌️✌️

Geht immer schnell, ist recht sauber, Mitarbeiter sind ebenfalls sehr nett.

Tische waren alle dreckig. Wir haben halbvolle Eisbecher bekommen, nach Beschwerde wurde nichts gemacht. Echt schlechter Service...👎

War okay, kein besonderer McDonald's aber grundsätzlich in Ordnung.

War mal besser, steht drin bis 2 Uhr offen, schließt aber um 1 schon. Die obere Etage ist nie geöffnet (wenn ich da bin) und der Tischservice geht auch nur manchmal.

Sehr schön hier, sauber und ordentlich. Toll das es über zwei Etagen geht, das habe ich bisher so noch nicht gesehen.

Nach langer Zeit wieder hier gewesen und ich muss sagen der Boden ist sauber geworden .....nur leider kann man den oberen Bereich immer noch nicht nutzen .

Die Filiale in sich selbst ist sehr schön, meine Kinder mögen sie. Heute zu den Zeitpunkt,wo wir waren, war es ziemlich voll,daher waren die Tische dreckig, ich habe unseren Tisch selbst geputzt, was auch nicht schlimm war. Das Essen war aber frisch und die Pommes heiß und lecker. Die Bestellung war vollständig und wurde zum Tisch gebracht. Es waren genug freie Parkplätze draußen. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

Guter sauberer MCD mit sehr freundlichem Personal, ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden.

I generally don't like the full ashtrays outside. The staff is friendly and cleans up regularly. The food quality depends on the time of day and the staff. Hairnets would have prevented some unpleasant surprises.

Well, what can you say? It seems like nobody really wants to work here. The printer roll at the terminals is empty, and replacing it? Table service is categorically refused. On top of that, they just stand by and watch as the person in the wheelchair gets their food brought to the table. Why bother with table service anyway? As another guest, you just have to shake your head. It's astonishing how vast the differences are. Only go here if there's absolutely no other option. Avoid it.

This branch is a real disappointment. The vending machines never work properly (and haven't for ages), and unfortunately, the food wasn't good today either. It's a huge difference compared to another branch in Bochum. And while the manager is polite, he's always incredibly stressed. It's very contagious. Today was just too much for me, so this will be my last time at this branch.

The fries weren't crispy at all. The mayonnaise packet was so difficult to open that the sauce squirted out everywhere. My fingers were pretty messy. Oh well, typical American food culture.

This McDonald's is the worst in Bochum. The service and food used to be good, but not anymore. They give you a completely empty McSundae with hardly any ice cream or sauce! We ordered food to eat in, but they gave us takeout to go. I used to come here almost every day, but I won't be back. It's become a disaster.

Everything was great, as always. Despite the rush on Sunday evening, we had our meal in record time. Kudos to the team!

This restaurant: Nice friendly staff and the food is hot for once. McDonald's for vegetarian: Absolutely garbage. As a McDonald's kid myself I never dreamed about the day Id say go to Burger King if you are veggie.

Today I had a very bad experience at the McDonald's branch at Alte Wittener Str. 38, Bochum. I wanted to redeem five breakfast vouchers from the McDonald's competition. My order was correct, and I also received the receipt for all five meals – but I actually only got three breakfasts. After waiting 40 minutes and asking several times, I was suddenly told that only one voucher per day could be redeemed per customer. This rule was never stated or mentioned before. During my conversation with the branch manager, he was very rude and showed a clear lack of respect for the customer. It's a shame – this branch really disappointed me. I hope McDonald's customer service takes a close look at this issue and responds accordingly.

Half of my order was missing. When I pointed this out, the girls behind the counter laughed and giggled instead of correcting the mistake. The taller one, in particular, was rude and condescending, which made the entire experience even worse.

I ordered a burger without sauce today. I picked it up at the McDrive. I quickly opened it at home. The burger came with sauce. It couldn't be any dumber.

By far the worst McDonald's in Bochum

It's just a McDonald's... but I find it cheeky that they don't give us straws at the McDrive. When we asked, a lady told us they didn't give us straws, even though the person in front of us was simply given one without asking. Maybe they should sort out what's going on and not flip a coin...

I ate there and have never seen such round and good burgers. The fries were very crispy and well seasoned, not like in other branches labrick and with little salt. But no, super good👍

Extremely poorly managed branch, I received cold burgers every time I visited three times

The restaurant was clean. The first terminal I tried to order at was broken, and no one was available to assist me. I changed terminals, placed my order, and received my food after about seven minutes (takeout; I was on my way home from a bike ride). At home, I opened my order, a Big Vegan TS, and in the box marked "Big Vegan TS" was a cheeseburger. Not only was my order incorrect (which is unfortunate and silly enough for me as a vegan), but what I received instead was significantly less than what I paid for. I feel completely cheated; this was my first McDonald's visit in five years and definitely my last.

It's just mecces, I'd say everything is standard but clean, even the toilets.

Not exactly the best McDonald's. This time, it was noticeable: the fries were soggy with hardly any salt, the burger was OK, the order was processed quickly, but I had to pay at the cash register because the technology on the ordering terminal wasn't working. PS: Amex payments aren't possible here, even though there's an Amex/McDonald's promotion going on. Other nearby branches are no problem with this payment method. Generally, it's a two-story building, but the upper floor was closed on my last visits. I visit one of the chain's restaurants about once or twice a month. Usually spontaneously, but at the moment, I'd say the Harpen branch is the benchmark in Bochum. It's just not the same level everywhere, even though the basics are the same everywhere.

The slowest order terminals I've ever experienced. On my first visit, I thought they might be having a bad day, but this time, too, it was a real pain to operate them. The screen where you were supposed to see your order history only showed the start screen. The traffic flow in the parking lot isn't very good either. The rest of the service was okay.

There is always something missing, what a pity

I was at the drive-thru today and, as I often do, ordered an iced coffee shake. I'm usually very satisfied with this drink, but this time I was truly disappointed. Even as it was being prepared, which I watched through the order window, I wondered if the shake was being made correctly—it just didn't look the way it usually does. Unfortunately, when I tried it, my impression was confirmed: The shake didn't taste anything like it normally does. The shake was so bitter that I could barely drink it—it tasted more like alcohol than iced coffee. It was truly a far cry from what I'm used to. This one, unfortunately, is now going in the trash, too; a waste of money. Additionally, the cup I used was completely unsuitable. It was completely soggy after just a short time and practically fell apart. That shouldn't happen with a cold drink.

We were just passing through. The food was standard, but the restrooms were EXTREMELY dirty. It wasn't "this place was last cleaned an hour ago," but rather, "no one had been in here for several hours." I assume it's because they were understaffed and had no way to clean the restrooms. Management needs to address this.

It's outrageous that you get less than half in your sundae because the restaurant wants to save money, I was told by the staff

I don't know if I'm the first to notice, but for some time now, the ice cream sundaes have only been half-filled. On top of that, the service is getting worse and worse, and they're constantly understaffed. If you bring up the issue, you're just met with a rude response. The quality of the burgers isn't what it used to be. The meat is constantly burnt and old. The fries are overly salty and cold. Cleanliness is also a low priority. The restroom is an absolute disaster, so much so that you have to fear catching diseases. Apparently, the boss is overwhelmed with his job and should get some more training himself.

It's in a nice place and especially the fries are delicious...

Simply impossible! Was there and ordered a Happy Meal + an extra burger. The food was cold, the branch was dirty and extremely loud. So after 25 minutes my number was finally called and the toy was also missing. When I asked kindly if I could get it (after all, I paid for it), I would hiss at me that it was only for children, until the store manager finally threw the toy at me quite angrily (yes, literally threw it). This store is really the last one 🤬 It's a shame that you can't give zero stars!

Everything is a bit dingy, ordering terminals hardly or not at all respond and don't even get me started on the app... There is no table service here either and in the drive thru you will be insulted by an unfriendly aunt... Then it's better to drive a little further to Harpen and eat in a really good McDonald's.

Bought 2 mc Flurry there today, they tasted like half had been extended with water. Totally watery and melted within a minute. Not again.

We were there today and ordered food to take away. When we got home I noticed something was missing again and this isn't the first time that they save a lot of money if they do this often with their customers

Everything is very dirty!!! :( Tables, floors, toilet, no matter where you look, everything is dirty! Sign on the upper floor closed - no more space downstairs, suddenly people go upstairs, I ask the staff. Answer: The sign is always there, just go up and ignore it, great for that. Waited 5 minutes downstairs for a free space. Once at the top, tables full of rubbish, nothing cleared - floors, tables also extremely dirty! Sorry, that's not possible! In addition, the food was only slightly warm overall! Staff not very professional and hardly motivated.

I always visit this McDonald's when I decide to eat there and I have to say that the McDonald's is one of the cleanest in the area. The toilets are really clean and everything is always refilled. The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you see it far too rarely, of course it also depends on the location. But would recommend McDonald's to everyone when it comes to fast food!

What really upsets me is the mess when picking up the order. Your number is in the field “being prepared” and then it appears in the field “ready for pickup” and you get to the counter, you won’t be noticed at first. When you ask, you get a stupid answer, yes, if you wait another 10 minutes, one of the employees shouts your waiting number throughout the store. When you ask why such a system is not being used properly, you either get a rude answer or no answer at all. I find it impossible!!!

So the food was great but... the cleaning lady was pretty unfriendly and shouted a lot and the receipts from other customers and the terminal were also empty and I reported that to the cashier and no one was interested so I think it's a shame I won't be coming back...

I ordered something from them on Saturday. The order was made incorrectly, my extra requests, especially without cucumbers and tomatoes, were not taken into account. When I noticed this at home, I complained to the restaurant manager the next day. Unfriendly staff, dirty. Upper floor is just a private playground.. Terminals don't work properly. At the checkout you just get a stupid look when you want to order something. Whether such a franchise entrepreneur can sustain itself remains to be seen.

Terminals hardly respond and only with a miserable delay. Ambience more like a train station. The hygiene is terrible, the toilets are dirty, and the second floor is always closed so there isn't much room to sit. The staff is not well behaved and rude to the visitors.

It's the first time I've reviewed a fast food restaurant, but you really deserve it: always friendly and cheerful staff, everything is clean, the food is well prepared and it's cozy here. The best Mäcki I've ever experienced!
