Food is good but takes a long time. I only complain about the service. I waited a long time but then someone came to take my order. I ordered but nothing came. Then I waited 20 minutes and nothing came.

The store was incredibly dirty. All the carts were so full that customers couldn't put their tablets away. There was trash flying around outside, the tables were sticky, and the food was cold. I know why I never go to McDonald's... But the kids wanted to go.

Unfortunately, the McDonald's in Duisburg-Rheinhausen has become a truly filthy place. The tables are so dirty that it takes away your appetite. We had to wipe our table ourselves, but thanks to the employees' communication problems, we were only given a rag after repeated requests. For the price McDonald's now charges for its products, you can at least expect clean tables.

Without exception, something's missing every time at the drive-thru! I'm starting to think this is a scam to cut costs. They know full well that if you're at home, no one will drive back to collect the missing products. Absolutely cheeky!

It's basically a McDonald's like any other. The ambiance is the same, the food is the same, but the service isn't the same. The service is incredibly friendly and very helpful. They even ask you if everything is okay from time to time, which I really appreciate. For me, this is one of the friendliest McDonald's branches.

You order at 9.30pm, look forward to your food, it arrives at 10.15pm, we've got a message, sorry your order has been cancelled, that's not possible! Now on 31 August it happened again, the order was placed at 7.40pm and simply cancelled at 8.32pm even though it had been promised and you were looking forward to the order. Very, very poor service. The competitor KFC then delivered on time within 25 minutes, the service at McDonald's could learn a thing or two from them!! The burgers are also more expensive than elsewhere, a cheese or chicken burger costs 2.50, when you pick it up on Lieferando it's over 3 euros! By comparison, in the Netherlands a burger costs 1.95, which is under 2.50.

I don’t know how it happened but recently (few months) it has been horror to order here. Only if I’m prepared to stay and spend half of my evening I come here. I wish I could recommed it. Last year it used to be good service. Very dissappointing

Beware of attempted fraud... Every time we order something to take away, parts are not packed (e.g. two cheeseburgers) ... not the first time and there seems to be a method!!!! Be sure to check your bags!!!

This place is simply terrible. There's hardly a simpler ordering and preparation system than McDonald's, and yet making something wrong with every order borders on complete disregard for the customer. Missing meat on the Big Mac, missing bacon on the Big Tasty, or even completely wrong burgers are just a few examples. When approached, the only response is "we'll pay attention to that next time" instead of offering at least some compensation.

The food was freshly prepared and delicious. The service was very good. The young lady who served me was incredibly friendly. It was truly fascinating. The food tasted twice as good. It's a shame I didn't ask for the name. I would have liked to have recognized this friendliness. Keep it up.

When I order a salad, I expect it to be a salad, well-cut and mouth-watering, but it's just food for rabbits. Either it's because they don't have enough time to prepare the order, or the staff just doesn't care...

The worst McDonald's I've ever eaten at. No matter what day or time, the food is always cold. The fries taste like they've been reheated from the day before yesterday. Brown, soft, and rancid. You wait forever at the Drive-In, even though there are no vehicles in front of you. This place should be closed.

Hey guys, is it really that hard to put together a chicken burger? The first burger had no sauce or lettuce. See photo. And the second burger had no lettuce, and even worse, the meat was still half-raw. Since I didn't want to get food poisoning, I threw the burger away. I haven't eaten at your place in a long time. Now I won't go at all. And please don't run a Mac drive if you have to wait at least half an hour every time.

A nice McDonald's with a cozy outdoor area. Often packed... The food is still delicious and fresh! The tables are also wiped down regularly, something often neglected at other restaurants.

Over 45 minutes of waiting time for a takeout order. Sauces were forgotten, fries were forgotten, all the burgers were cold, and some of the drinks were stale. Beyond poor.

We waited 50 minutes and were ignored by the staff

This is the greatest outrage ever. I've waited 27 minutes for four cheeseburgers. There were two people in the guest area waiting for their food. The manager or shift supervisor prioritized the drive-thru and ordered outside items out of line, ordering those items first and ordering the kitchen to give them priority. I'm furious at the way things are done here.

Food was ok, but the employees in the McDrive absolutely did not speak German, I am a foreigner myself but it was really disgusting, we had to show the coupons to the customer service, that's not okay.

All the door handles were greasy, the toilets were dirty, the floors were sticky (who would wipe up Coke without water...), the tables were dirty, guests left their trash on the tables, and the staff couldn't take simple orders or care about cleanliness, preferring to chat instead. On our last visit, there were rat bait boxes (no wonder, given the filth), from a hardware store, with no warning signs on the terrace. I would give it 0 stars, but that's not possible.

Before my return trip around 11:00 a.m., I stopped in Rheinhausen to pick up a large coffee to go. So, as always at other Mc. Cafés, I stood at the counter with the Cimbali portafilter machine, as I always do at other Mc. Cafés. I was the only customer at the time. A server called out to me, asking me to come to the main counter, order, and pay. Okay. Then I went back to the café counter and waited. Nothing happened until the server called out to me, the cup was with her. I asked if it was filter coffee, which she unfortunately confirmed. But I wanted a Cimbali one. What followed was something like this: It's the same coffee. It's the same water, etc. Unbelievable. Reluctantly, she finally made me my usual excellent Mc. Café coffee. Perhaps someone should explain to the staff what an outrageously expensive portafilter machine from a renowned Italian manufacturer can do better.

We went to McDonald's with our son (3 1/2 years old) for a change, which is always a highlight for him. However, this visit was a complete disaster. The tables and benches were dirty and sticky, so we were glad we had brought wet wipes with us. The food was cold, the Coke was still sparkling, and the highlight was the absolute rudeness of the staff. Our son wanted a straw for his Fanta, but when we asked, they said they wouldn't give it to him. The only strange thing was that the lady at the table next to us had one. We've had repeated negative experiences at this restaurant. Sometimes you have to wait 40 minutes for an order because the staff mix up the receipts. You have to assemble the Big Tasty yourself because all the ingredients are scattered throughout the box. It's always a problem getting a straw for your drinks. The most annoying thing is the condition of the restrooms and tables. Nobody pays attention to cleanliness. You have to bring napkins to wipe the table yourself. Customer service and attention to detail are unfortunately very poor.

Lowkey, we're standing here at 11 p.m. and the store is actually closed due to a technical problem. This means we have to wait in this incredibly long line of cars for absolutely nothing. It's a disgrace that our regular customers are gone!

McDonald’s, always a good option!

One of the worst restaurants I know. Orders take forever, and friendliness seems to be a foreign concept, as does cleanliness. It was barely busy when we were there, but it was still anything but clean. When ordering two meals, forgetting parts of your order is a challenge. Update: If you thought the cleanliness couldn't get any worse, you were wrong. Even at 1:30 a.m., in a virtually empty store, it looks like a mess. Dirty tables, leftover food, and packaging are everywhere. The tray returns are overflowing. Maybe they should do an inspection here. Update 7/17/2025 Unbelievable that things can get any worse. At 12:45 a.m., we've been waiting for a full 45 minutes for our order to be filled. It's beyond overwhelming. Every table in the restaurant and outside looks like a garbage dump. All I can say about the toilet is that there are train station and rest area toilets that are cleaner.

Drive In without problems, sweet and sour sauce was missing

Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing visit. The tables were dirty, covered in leftover food and trash, and it seemed like they hadn't cleaned in a while. The floor was sticky, there were spilled drinks everywhere, and the trash cans were overflowing. The atmosphere was anything but inviting; the air conditioning was either off or broken, and it was stuffy and unpleasant. We decided to leave without ordering. Very unhygienic and disgusting; definitely not a recommendation.

I was there yesterday and ordered an M Burger, which, in retrospect, was quite tasty, I must say, but when it was served and I opened the packaging, it looked as if someone had thrown it in from a distance of 1 meter, which I immediately complained about. The lady who handed it to me didn't understand my complaint at first. Then the manager, perhaps the one who was in the store, came over. I don't know who, and immediately said it needed to be remade. She did, and it looked really good, so keep checking. 😉

Unfortunately, this is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The wait is incredibly long ("fast food"). Watery Coke with barely any carbonation, probably because it's been sitting around forever. The fries are soggy, barely salted, and they've forgotten something on several occasions. I don't understand how this place even gets 3.4 stars.

Unfortunately, there isn't much good to say about this branch. I've been using the drive-thru now and again for a year and it's always the same. It starts with ordering: I'm always misunderstood and then I get a hard time when you correct the lady at the counter. Then when you pay, they don't even look at me and you have to ask if you can pay with your card. It's not nice either when a well-dressed lady stares blankly at me and chews her gum. When I ask if I can get the bill, I'm usually met with silence and the bill is held out, or I'm simply told: "Too late!". At this point, I feel almost abused as a customer and not cared for. Then it gets even worse when you get your food: sometimes a burger is missing, or the fries are completely soggy, or milkshakes are served in paper cups because it's too hot: "We've got these left over from today and they have to go." It's really great, of course, when you try to explain to the staff that something is missing from your order. Of course, that's difficult without an invoice. All I can say is that I will avoid this branch completely in the future because I simply feel uncomfortable and "made a fool of" there. In my opinion, this branch is simply unprofessional and has a disinterested attitude. I won't be spending any more money here!

On May 28, 2025, around 12:30 AM, I was there and ordered some burgers. Every burger was ice cold, even the cheese was still in its original slices. It was great that I had the food in 10 minutes, but it would have been great if it had been hot beforehand. Tried again on June 16, 2025, and the food was ice cold again, and nothing was soggy because of the fries 🤮🤢🤮. I was briefly considering cooling my drinks with this crap. People, you really blame your staff; you're dragging the restaurant industry through the mud. If management doesn't get its staff under control so that the same food is always served as advertised, I'll go to the newspapers and watch TV.

I ordered takeout from the restaurant. When I got home (a four-minute drive), the food was ice cold and the nuggets were missing. I went back, the lady was friendly, and I got a hot meal, along with ice cream as compensation. When I got home, the nuggets were missing again 🤦🏼‍♀️ I didn't feel like going there a third time. Trust is good, but control is better... learned something new again.

I hope you close this place soon. The food looks like it came from a trash can. The people working at the drive-thru can't even form a coherent German sentence, let alone understand it. You constantly have to repeat yourself, only to find out later that the wrong food is in the bag. The burger packaging speaks for itself. I don't even want to get started on the "fries"!

Today I visited a McDonald's restaurant and to be honest I was very disappointed. I placed an order and tried to pay at the checkout but I couldn't for 20 minutes! Not only could I not eat - I couldn't even pay for my order. Apparently there is not enough staff in this restaurant. Not having enough employees leads to long wait times, delays and ultimately loss of customers. I think management should think about using more employees per shift, because cutting staff will only lead to financial losses. I am very disappointed and hope that the situation changes soon.

Hello, I can only advise against going out/ordering food there, because unfortunately their food gave me a bad stomach and intestinal infection. Hygiene standards are probably not taken that seriously there, so be careful of these so-called “restaurants”!

Unfortunately, a complete disaster! I went to McDonald's again after many years and ordered a burger and fries. The burger fell apart completely and was completely soft, the bread literally fell apart into several pieces after I touched it, and the taste was really bad. Generally a clean shop, the staff is friendly. Toilets and counters are cleaned regularly, the food is completely ok and reasonable, not just thrown together like in other shops. I'll keep eating there.

One of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The cheeseburgers are always cold and way too much ketchup. Burgers and fries are always cold or you order twice and only get one. Was there mostly on weekends around 12 p.m. For me, that was the reason I never went to McDonald's again, even if it wasn't as bad at other branches. The coffee is 👍.

Simply terrible, you want to order food after work and more than half of it wasn't delivered. Especially since the food arrives so late that what's left is cold. I'm really disappointed with the service and quality, there have definitely been better times. Then you call them in the hope of being able to clarify it and then they shout at me on the phone and blame me for their misconduct

I've been a customer there for about 30 years. And it's been up and down, now I can't stand this shit at all anymore. Eating on Tuesday gives me exaggerated heartburn the next day. But it's normal if you know how this crap is made... The best is the Cola = tap water (unfiltered + syrup) costs about a cent per liter and they just unfairly take anything more than a euro for a big one would be outrageous! Because the water isn't even filtered ;) coli bacteria are probably killed by the syrup something from a micro chemical kitchen, I deliberately say chemical if you leave the chicken burgers or cheeseburgers for a few weeks they don't even start to mold, they just don't change... And that has nothing to do with badmouthing or anything like that is my personal opinion I was asked here so I'll tell you the truth ^^
