We ordered via the app (with table service) on Sunday, January 4, 2026, shortly before midnight. The food was served at 11:56 p.m. We were informed that the restaurant would be closing around midnight – even though the posted hours stated they were open until 1:00 a.m. The atmosphere was very unpleasant. Within minutes, we were repeatedly told that they would be closing soon. This made it impossible for us to eat our meal in peace. Additionally, we felt constantly watched by a staff member (presumably the manager). When we were still present at 12:01 a.m., even though we had already finished eating, this seemed to be unacceptable. We had to eat hastily to avoid further comments. Overall, the service was very poor. It would be desirable to pay more attention to customer service skills when selecting staff – especially for management positions.

Despite clearly ordering plant-based nuggets, I was given regular nuggets. When I complained, the responsibility was shifted onto me without an apology, and the tone was very unfriendly and disrespectful. On my next visit, the same employee showed no customer service whatsoever.

The food was okay, but we were just passing through, shortly before midnight, ordered as usual, and sat down to eat. Shortly after midnight, an employee started quite rudely trying to get the customers who were eating out. For your information: The website says the restaurant is open until 2 a.m. Saturday night/Sunday morning. My advice to the restaurant: Change your opening hours online or stop taking food orders in the restaurant if you plan to close 10 minutes later. We had searched on Google for places to eat at that hour because we were just passing through, and the experience was very disappointing. It's probably not this particular branch's fault, but the McRösti with Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) is an outrage with maybe a teaspoon of spaetzle... So unnecessary.

This branch seems to be taking the negative reviews to heart. It's clean, the tables are wiped down after each use, and the floor is swept. Unfortunately, only one of the women's restroom stalls was clean, and the toilet flushes randomly, except when you hold your hand in front of the sensor. The table staff were very friendly. We were greeted, and the employee told us to let them know if we needed anything else. We were really pleasantly surprised!

My experience at this branch was extremely disappointing. Although I was a paying customer and the restaurant was about 30% full, after approximately one hour I was told that I shouldn't use my laptop. As a regular customer who always orders a significant amount, I found this treatment completely incomprehensible and unpleasant. I find it unacceptable to restrict paying customers in such a way in a nearly empty restaurant. If laptop use is prohibited, this should be clearly indicated – which wasn't the case here. Based on this experience, I will not be visiting this branch again and unfortunately cannot recommend it to other customers who want to eat in peace or work briefly.

Surprisingly great visit! I have to say, I was really pleasantly surprised! The McDonald's was clean, modern, and very tidy. The staff was friendlier than I expected, and ordering was quick and easy. On a previous visit, I ordered a McSmart meal but received a salad instead. Mistakes happen, but mix-ups like this shouldn't. Today, November 3, 2025, at 12:20 a.m., I tried to redeem a coupon at the drive-thru. The employee barely spoke German, was unintelligible, and rude. I had to repeat the code several times before she finally understood it—and she did so in a very unprofessional tone. The product quality is also disappointing: fries are often cold, burgers are carelessly prepared, and McFlurry cups are often not even half full. Furthermore, the entire area seems unhygienic.

I ordered from McDonald's via Lieferando – and it was a disaster. The entire meal arrived ice cold. The fries were completely soft and soggy, the burger dry and cold, and the drink was anything but fresh. You can tell the food must have been sitting around somewhere for a long time before it was delivered. For that price, I expect at least warm, edible food – but this was an absolute disgrace. If I want cold fast food, I might as well open the fridge. Never again! 👎

We visited the restaurant on a public holiday. It was very, very busy, but as other people have reported, the organization was a complete disaster. But this is not the only McDonald's that is so busy. It started with the communication with the staff; there was a big language barrier, which made ordering difficult right from the start. But the division of work areas with such a volume of customers also needs to be improved a lot. We waited 25 minutes for two coffees, which is unacceptable, especially when you have two children in the car. At the beginning we stood in the drive-up and nothing was happening there either, so we went into the restaurant. The McDonald's cafe was constantly empty. Unfortunately, it really is one of the worst McDonald's I have ever been to; a lot has to change.

That was the worst experience I've ever had at McDonald's. How can it be that you order at the terminal, choose table service, then get everything packed to go, and then all the customers are kicked out at midnight sharp (according to Google, they're open until 2 a.m.)? If I'd known, I would have ordered something that's easy to eat in the car without making a mess. And there were no salad forks or napkins included. I actually wanted to order a McFlurry for dessert, but after everything that had happened, I decided against it. Even if I had, it wouldn't have been possible anyway (according to the app, it was no longer available). The trash can in the parking lot was also overflowing. The only positive thing was the condition of the ordered food. There was nothing to complain about.

At the first counter, we were waved through with a hand signal, but at the second, the same employee told us we shouldn't have proceeded because our order was supposedly no longer visible. Half of our order was missing. When we complained at the restaurant, we – like many other customers – had to wait about 30 minutes. The staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. They really don't deserve a star. My girlfriend and I ordered at the drive-thru, and her burger was simply thrown into the bag, open, and everything was covered in sauce. My wrap wasn't made properly. When I opened it, everything fell apart. We went back for a new one. We waited what felt like 20 minutes until we got a new one. Plus, everything we ordered got cold, and the wrap was cold. They just stuffed the inside of the other one into a new wrap. That's not okay. I wouldn't recommend anyone go there! The woman was also so unfriendly. She didn't even apologize and was very rude. She was even annoyed that we came back. I wanted to throw the bag at her, she was so unfriendly!

Dear McDonald's Team, I'm writing to you today because my visit to your Weiterstadt branch yesterday was simply a disgrace – both in terms of service, hygiene, and the human interaction with guests. I never would have expected to encounter such a level of incompetence, ignorance, and indifference in a global company. I visited your branch with a colleague on July 21, 2025. When our food was brought, the employee in charge spilled both drinks – not "a little," but completely – all over my colleague. His high-quality jacket was subsequently soaked, sticky, and possibly ruined. Instead of an appropriate response – such as an immediate apology, help, or replacement – the employee left without comment. What followed is hard to believe: He came back – with TWO napkins. Two. For a complete puddle of Coke on the floor, soaked clothes, and a slippery environment. Of course, those two napkins weren't enough, and when he disappeared without a word and never returned, we had to take care of the cleaning ourselves, get napkins ourselves, and put up a slippery slope warning sign ourselves, because no one on your team felt responsible for it. Aside from the obvious failure of service, the food was, of course, completely cold and inedible after the whole incident—we simply couldn't eat it. When I politely tried to speak to the manager to request appropriate compensation or at least a refund, all I received was a shrug and the phrase, "What can I tell you? Sorry, there's nothing more I can do." To top it all off, the employee's behavior was then justified by his alleged lack of language skills—as if that were an excuse for his complete failure in customer service. No. This isn't a language barrier—it's simply incompetence and disinterest.

What I encountered was the epitome of logistical overconfidence. The double lane turned out to be a two-pronged blunder into a culinary snail's shell. The vehicles stood there like stuffed marmots—motionless, incredulous, exhausted. Time passed as if a beaver were gnawing through concrete. Minutes turned into eons. I was young when I arrived—I aged in the queue. The organization? A Kafkaesque construct without equal. Where efficiency was expected, chaos reigned. Orderers in lane one were given preferential treatment, as if they had joined the aristocratic lineage of hungry motorists. Conclusion: If you're hungry and have a zest for life, avoid this place. A drive-thru with two lanes, but only one functioning cog in the system. Under other circumstances, the sheer waiting time would be considered a reprieve – here, it only leaves a bitter aftertaste of wasted time.

I think McDonald's hasn't done itself any favors by offering everything possible at this location. Drive-thru and in-store pickup would have been sufficient. Here, you can also have your food brought to your table or to a parking lot by ordering through the app. This leaves them completely overwhelmed, and things aren't working at all. On top of that, they put the food on pickup early, even though it'll take forever, and then immediately delete it from the system (perhaps to keep track of how quickly the food goes out?). It's completely unacceptable. And I don't understand why, after so many bad reviews, even before mine, they haven't done anything about it... The food is OK, although I expect more salad on a chicken burger or in a wrap; you almost have to hunt for it here.

When you had to wait over 35 minutes for three ice creams, and there wasn't a single announcement that an employee would be there, that says it all. A lack of staff alienates customers. The new, nice decor doesn't help either. Never again. Even one star is too many.

I've been to a few McDs, and this one is way down on the list. I was there on Saturday night, May 24th. Two drive-thru counters were served by a woman who mumbled and was impossible to understand. But she spoke to both vehicles at the same time. Because she said you should drive up, we did so, hoping to be able to place our order in person at the counter. Instead, we were harassed for a long time. Then we had to wait another 15 minutes for a small €33 order. Bad service; in my opinion, the burgers were carelessly thrown together, and the wait was far too long.

I was in the toilet there and it looked like a mess. Everything was a mess. I didn't even look at the cleaning schedule. Then I wanted to order and stood at the till for a solid 8 minutes and nobody came. Everyone was semi-busy in the kitchen. Everyone saw me but nothing. Then someone came (I think it was the shift manager). Not even a hello. And then she was totally overwhelmed with my online order. Well... then she called a number 166 (not mine), I didn't respond because I was just starting to write the review here. Then she gave me my number in a really unfriendly tone. It wasn't her best day, I think.

If I could have given zero stars, I would have done so. After a concert in Frankfurt we wanted to quickly grab something to eat for the drive home. This quickly turned into a 45 minute wait in front of the ordering column. It took almost an hour until we had our food and that was in the drive-thru. We simply waited in front of the ordering column for 45 minutes, other cars in front of us and behind us as well. The service was subpar, not only did you understand the good lady in no time, they were all simply rude. They tried to explain to us that they could only handle 2 cars at a time, hence the incredibly long wait. My 2 a.m. arrival time at home turned into 3 a.m. and it was all JUST because of terrible service at a McDonald's drive-thru NEVER AGAIN and I advise everyone else to go to another one. There are enough in the area!!!! I would have noticed that too

I had lunch here yesterday. I ordered a double cheeseburger menu plus a cheeseburger and lots of sauce to burn as many Sanifer coupons as possible. I gave 5 Sanifer coupons, but only four and a half were printed. I got the number 145. It appeared on the waiting list. Then it suddenly disappeared. It was neither on the waiting list nor on the finished list. I went to the counter, gave the receipt that mine was gone. He looked at it, then his colleague came over and looked at it too. Then finally I just got my order. Plus I got two extra cheeseburgers as a bonus that I didn't ask for, but I managed to eat them in the end. Thank you very much! It's true that they took 50 cents off, but I got 5 euros more food.

I found raw meat in my burger, which I unfortunately only noticed at the end. I immediately went to the counter, where they initially offered me a new burger. However, I refused, as I insisted on a refund. At first, the server refused to give me the money back because I no longer had my receipt, but after a brief discussion, I was finally given my money. I know this happened during peak hours on a Saturday afternoon, but this should never happen, especially at such a large franchise like KFC. Now I'm worried I might get food poisoning. Never again!

Today, after a long time, I was back at the Loop. To satisfy my hunger, I got a beef sausage with fries and a drink. I have to say, the sausage was simply unbelievably inedible. I don't know the place from Frankfurt, and I've rarely eaten such a bad sausage. The fries were also too salty, and the bread was stale. All for €18.50! Better to spend the money elsewhere.
