McDonald's... Food was ready quickly, warm and delicious

After swimming we went to Mc's across the street. The meals have all become more expensive and smaller. Two order tablets were broken, so we had to wait a long time. There was the typical Gucci clientele from southeastern Europe there, they were sitting there in droves and were very loud. In general, this McDonald's is very loud. Next time we'll try the "quick restaurant" next door...

Unfortunately, the McDonald's branch in Hamborn has some weak points that spoil the experience. The cleanliness could be better as the tables are often not cleaned thoroughly, which detracts from the ambience. There are also gaps in the service: errors in orders occur more frequently and table service is only offered irregularly. Especially at peak times, guests need to be patient - waiting times of up to 30 minutes are possible. Even on weekends, the drive-in is usually very busy. Overall, better organization and more attention to detail would greatly improve the experience here.

Unfortunately, my visit to the McDonald's in Hamborn was anything but satisfactory. Although the quality of the food corresponds to the usual McDonald's standard, the negative aspects clearly outweighed the negative aspects. This was the third time my order had been forgotten and skipped, which was extremely frustrating. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired: the tables were very dirty and the toilets were damaged and in poor condition. Although the food met expectations, the deficiencies mentioned meant that the visit was not really enjoyable. The purest D.....load!!! I just waited an hour at McDonald's Hamborn until the order came. As usual, the order was wrong again. Service staff pointed this out. Service staff seemed irritable/unfriendly and was of the opinion that the order had to be made That's right, I packed it myself (nobody ever makes a mistake, probably employee of the year👌🏻). Bon read and noticed that you are very mistakes probably happen. Order was repackaged with receipt and receipt was retained. When I got home I found someone else's completely wrong order in the bags. Of course not nearly the same amount and number of burgers. Of course, no one can answer the phone to answer the phone. I ordered food at exactly 5:40 p.m. for around €45. Order number 240 included 2 happy meals and various burger fries etc... After waiting an hour, I asked nicely what was wrong with my order... I have rarely experienced such chaos. Despite ordering online, I waited almost 30 minutes, 10 minutes in front of the drive-in, the rest for the food. The ordered McChicken and a Royal TS were missing. There was mayonnaise on the Royal cheese which I didn't want. I complained about the missing McChicken on site, but unfortunately I only discovered when I got home that the TS was also missing. Never again McDonald's DU-Hamborn, then rather go to Oberhausen, Weierstrasse. The staff there is friendly and competent

Always the same thing incompetents, I bought a simple menu as can be, so even on that one they where wrong, I was clear about what I wanted and the person who took the order said what I ordered so he understood and still offer me something else

I ordered a happy meal and didn't get my book. I can't recommend it. I really don't think it's great, honestly I ordered the happy meal just for that reason

Rarely seen such a dirty shop. My shoes were literally stuck to the floor. Leftover food was lying around everywhere. Order was not complete.

If you want ice cream in the evening, you don't even have to go here. The ice cream machine is probably always cleaned after 8 p.m. and from then on customers are told that they can no longer sell ice cream. This is clearly laziness in front of the customer.

According to the opening times, it's open until 3:00 and by 2:00 the shop is already closed. If you close earlier, you should state that.

Absolutely sad for MacDonalds. Half of the desserts are not available and the service doesn't prepare everything as ordered. McDonald's likes it, but not here!

Worst McDonald's ever! We had to wait a full 45 minutes for our takeaway order. It was almost impossible to communicate with the employees as none of them spoke German. As if that wasn't annoying enough, when we got home we discovered that half of the order was missing. We definitely won't visit this McDonald's again - we'd rather go to Oberhausen!

Everything was fine. Nothing to complain about. Only the air conditioning was set a little too high. Was a little too cold while eating.

Very long waiting times (30 minutes for 2 menus). An employee became very rude when we asked for a straw. Ambience not particularly nice (dirty & sad). Otherwise okay, order was complete and tasted as always. Nevertheless, I will not visit this branch again.

Left 30€ there. Drove home with child. Woman looks at food and says what's wrong? The ENTIRE order is incorrect. Every menu wrong. He even entered it incorrectly. Although it wasn't that crowded. The only one who was calm and nice, as always, was the young man at the checkout. Not recommended. The service and cleanliness leave something to be desired. I had to wait over 50 minutes for two chicken burgers. This has nothing to do with fast food anymore. For me, even one star is too much.

Unfortunately, when it comes to large orders, the employees are often overwhelmed with extra requests and items are missing or arrive incorrectly. Plus it's never really clean there. The tables are always full of the previous ones or are totally messed up.

This is honestly one of the worst McDonald's I've ever seen. The food is really cold, not lukewarm or anything…..cold. In general it is cold in the store, regardless of whether it is summer or winter, totally uncomfortable. The trolleys with the trays are probably only emptied twice a day, so you don't feel like keeping things tidy when all the stuff comes at you. I'd rather take the route to Buchholz!

Ordered on site with a waiting time of over an hour. From the customer's perspective, one employee didn't know what the other was doing. Only when an employee picked up the booklet was the order completed within 10 minutes.

Today (June 28th, 2024) there was absolute chaos there. The cash register wasn't manned for a long time, so I ordered via the app and picked up the food at the drive-thru. This takes a very long time compared to usual. Instead, a Big Mac was cold and the fries were so hard that I could only throw them away.

The coffee for 1.79 euros via the app is unbeatable. Tastes good too. The employees at the drive are very nice and polite. But people - the lid is now almost life-threatening if you're not careful. Don't you agree?? It falls out every time I take a sip. Who is doing well?

So the food was okay but the waiting time 🫠10 minutes old Swede but whatever else 3/5 stars

Bad food; the fries were undercooked, a bacon burger tasted weird and the fish burger was just pathetic.

So far everything is the same as everywhere else, but extremely slow service. Chaos at the information board, shows numbers that supposedly can be picked up, but then it takes another 10 minutes 🤮

Food is as always at MC but the shop itself is probably the worst, dirtiest in all of Germany, seats are defective, tables are dirty and staff some don't speak German.

So I would like to share my opinion with you here as objectively as possible. The food was great for me, it was warm and complete, even too much. That's great for me, but I find it questionable that such a mistake can be made when there are 20 customers in the store while 17 of them are eating, especially because I only ordered food worth €9.50. It took about 20 minutes, which is above average for a McDonalds where there are only 3 customers waiting. In case you're wondering what was too much, it was one portion of fries too many. Right next to it there is a piece of paper with the dishes I ordered and it said 1 portion of fries. As I said, too much is good, but it is questionable when so few customers are waiting. Who knows how many things were missing. For me the service was neutral. Not friendly and not unfriendly. There's not much to complain about in my opinion The store is mostly clean and not as dirty as everyone says. There might be something lying around in the corner, but otherwise it's clean. For the toilets I had to deduct 1 star from Ambiente because the trash can for the towels was overflowing. There was also a wet spot in the corner of a toilet. What that is is left to your imagination. But it wasn't that great there, so I would go twice. If it were possible, I would have given it 3.5 stars

I've been eating here for years and I really have to say: I'm disappointed. Things have absolutely gotten worse in recent years. 1. Women's toilets suck. Footprints on the toilet seat, no toilet paper, just cloths that you use to dry your hands. No wonder the toilet gets clogged! 2. Chaos in the system. Under “Ready for collection” there were a lot of numbers that weren’t even close to being ready. Called out loud numbers that weren't even on the display. Long waiting times. People who came later were served earlier. When it was finally our turn to eat we were told there was no more salad. We should swap. But then told us we could only trade for large fries. So I would like to decide for myself what I want to eat. But simply accepted due to great hunger and annoyance. 3. Employees totally overwhelmed and there were many employees on site. If you organize it properly it shouldn't be a problem. 4. The guests. The shop looks like the guests leave it. Same with the toilets mentioned above. I'm sorry, but apparently only pigs eat there, that's how bad it looks there. No wonder that the employees here can hardly keep up.

It's always dirty there. Turks who smoke aren't thrown out there, but Germans are. 99% of the time the food is cold and stale. You wait 30-60 minutes for the food. It's a FAST FOOD restaurant. Sometimes people there give me a racist rant (against Germans/German-looking people).

Had dinner there with my son today at 6:37 p.m. Ordering was quick, but there was no hello or anything. An employee speaks so loudly to customers in Arabic, it's abnormal. Then a Lieferando employee sat across from us, ate like a pig, dropped his cheeseburger paper and left the whole table with his food residue and paper on the table. Great employee. 2 employees pay no attention to this and leave the table as it was left for 15 minutes. This is underground.

Ate there again last night; never again! For a McMenu and a HappyMeal a preparation time of 45 minutes. There were customers who needed the same waiting time for a Coke. The staff then apologized loudly with the words "Well, I can't help it, there are only two men at the front and back". I have never (and I am traveling all over Germany) seen a McDonald's that is so poorly managed and has such underground and unqualified staff. To explain, there is currently a discount campaign on 2 classics for 7.50 euros, plus small fries with 200 points for 0 euros. Makes 7.50 euros. But the lady wanted over 9 euros and didn't let that dissuade her. You have to give one star, if I could I would give minus 10 stars.

Fast and good service, 24 hours a day, but there is no special employee for cleaning. The place is full of dirt and the table is also dirty. The cleanliness of the restaurant must be taken care of more than that.

If you come there on the weekend, you get your food in a bag because there are no more trays, but the store was no longer full. Half of the store looked like a garbage dump because no one cleared the empty bags from the tables.

Toilets are hardly cleaned, food looks passable - the only aftereffects are hours of visiting the toilet and service is ok if you ignore the fact that something is always missing with every order.

My experience at the McDonald's branch in Duisburg Hamborn was extremely disappointing. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired, with dirty tables and floors in desperate need of cleaning. Wait times were unacceptably long, causing frustration. Additionally, some customers' behavior was disrespectful and inappropriate, which detracted from the atmosphere. This store appears to be in dire need of an overhaul of its operations and a focus on customer service and cleanliness. I would strongly recommend not visiting this branch until these issues are resolved.
