Ordering via the app + McDrive = 10 minutes wait in the parking lot

Every time I pick up food here, eat in there, order in, or go through the drive-thru, at least one item is missing. In addition, the wrong items are always given to me when I order. The order number screen never works properly. Large orders are always served last.

The staff is overwhelmed and incredibly unfriendly to customers. They tell you to park on the right and then loudly berate you for it, demanding to know why you're parking there. Sometimes you have to wait more than 15 minutes for your food, and incomplete orders are a frequent occurrence. I've been there several times now, but I'd rather drive further afield because there's no sign of improvement.

It's terrible, a nightmare. It's very unpleasant to be there. We arrived, it's dirty, everything is scattered around. Children throw everything around. They don't clean up after themselves.

Dirty tables, staff who don't serve you what you ordered. Instead of vegan nuggets and two cheeseburgers, I got regular chicken nuggets and a portion of fries. So, no cheeseburgers and no vegan nuggets. But hey, fries I didn't want. Great! I've rarely experienced something like that, but it should be within the bounds of possibility to be able to read an order and serve it accordingly.

Unfortunately, things have been forgotten on a few occasions; it's worth checking. Otherwise, the employees are generally very motivated and do their best, but they're probably a bit understaffed if you have to wait 20 minutes or more for an ice cream. The teenagers behave badly and leave everything dirty.

I've ordered there several times, and something's always missing. Yesterday, it was the potato wedges again, even though we had to wait on the right. Sometimes the fries, mayo, and sometimes a salad were missing. Unfortunately, we'd already finished everything – which is incredibly annoying. After calling last time, I was told to come back and I'd still get the fries. But it's no use to me in terms of time if I have to drive further. It's all well and good to want to get everything ready "quickly," but then you're already waiting on the side and something's still missing. That can't be right. You can't treat a customer so superficially. So, this really needs to be improved URGENTLY. Then check the orders properly and give yourself 2-3 minutes more time!

If you have a lot of time and want to spend it waiting and gazing at the streets of Hamburg, then this is the place for you. For a simple menu, I repeat, ONE MENU, you'll be waiting for about 15 minutes. Never again.

It's a real mess. It can really take a while when it's busy. But our order came with fries AND salad in the Happy Meals even though we had only ordered salad. Good thing, in my favor. Another order at our table only came with one fries instead of two. Then the sweet and sour sauce for the kids was missing. The lady (inclusion or not) came and wanted to see our note. The Vio was actually ordered medium, but as we got it, she grabbed my open bottle. Two young women at another table next to us also waited a long time. When something was missing, the employee came and discussed it with them. Maybe the team should first become a team, put the orders together and deliver them properly and spend less time arguing. Plus, Lieferando is preferred to visitors in the restaurant! It's no fun!

Unfortunately, a long hair was pulled out of my Coca-Cola drink! (It can happen, I thought.) But that's a deterrent, and based on the other reviews, we probably won't be back. Top-notch service! The ambiance is okay...

I've never experienced such bad conditions. Waiting more than 20 minutes to pay, and not only that, it's very dirty there, that's different. You should hire more staff and not cut corners. The store is unacceptable. I'd rather go to Oberhausen-Sterkrade, where you get decent service and fast service.

The dirtiest McDonald's I've ever seen. This is a potential case for the health department. Waiting 30 minutes for a McSundae is also a disgrace, and it didn't taste good at all. The employees were completely overwhelmed; the manager clearly has no control over his own store anymore.

25 minutes for a simple order via the McDrive is not fast food for me

A very dirty restaurant, the restrooms are filthy and smelly. Despite the large crowds, the staff is completely overwhelmed – wait times of over 30 minutes are common. Inside, it's chaotic, and orders (especially for takeout) are almost always incorrect or incomplete. Absolutely disappointing for a fast food restaurant.

I stood at the checkout for about 20 minutes before I could pay, and then waited another 22 minutes for my food to be ready. The restaurant is littered with old, unfinished food. There were too few staff and they were completely overwhelmed. My burgers were poorly packaged (squashed), totally unappealing to look at. Another thing that bothers me is that the burgers are getting smaller and smaller, and the prices are getting higher and higher. And there were obviously rat traps in the outdoor area (the kids' area).

The restaurant is dirty as always! Not enough staff to handle customer requests. The menu seems to take forever and arrives cold. Burgers are carelessly wrapped. Let's not even mention the restrooms.

The food was very tasty but not recommended on hot days. The food had probably been left lying around for three hours. I was there last Monday and waited three hours for food. The staff were also very rude. A better alternative would be the Mc Donalds Sterkrade near tobebox Oberhausen.

I find the restaurant very dirty. The staff is unfriendly. It's always too crowded, and the staff is too few. I waited half an hour for my food. Deeply disappointed for the third time. This place has nothing to do with fast food anymore. For all three orders, even those for a meal, the wait time was over 30 minutes. The McSmart menu was too expensive, which went from €5 to €6.50, then to €7. KFC menu was better.

I was there recently late in the evening. It was perfect for a quick pit stop, and there was free electricity.

We were at McDonald's in Hamborn on July 15, 2025, at around 2:50 a.m. Unfortunately, the visit was very disappointing. At that time, there were apparently only two employees on duty. Instead of showing understanding that this meant things were generally a bit slower, one of the employees rudely accused us of holding up operations and supposedly being responsible for other customers having to wait a long time. This accusation was completely unfounded – we ordered normally and didn't take an excessively long time. The employee's tone was disrespectful and unprofessional. This is not how you should treat customers, no matter what time of day it is. Overall, the atmosphere was very unpleasant. We've had better experiences at other McDonald's branches, but this visit was truly disappointing.

It's a disaster here. 3 cars in front of me and I'm waiting for 25 minutes. When it's my turn, after 7 minutes they ask me what I want. Are they all lazy or do they just not give a damn? Impossible.

For the umpteenth time, items are missing from the order. Yes, you should check, right. But if you order in-store and want to take it with you, you don't unpack the entire bag when you get there. If it had happened once, okay! It can happen, but every time? On top of that, the quality is once again brutally poor. The curli fries still contain frozen fries, and the curli fries are only half full. The regular fries are half frozen, half cooked. I regret overcoming my fear and going there. If anyone asks: should they close the store? Then I'll scream YES! From now on, only the Dinslaken branch... I'll never make that mistake again, going there and spending a lot of money and getting so much disappointment!!! Never again, I wish I could go bankrupt!

I ordered a Filet-o-fish and waited 30 minutes. I opened the box on the burger which was built incorrectly. There was cheese on the bottom of the bread and fish sauce. The cheese just stuck to the box. The staff almost dropped my food. Everything smelled like toilet paper. The tables were sticky. The staff were asleep and talking with fries.

A disaster! The employees are unpleasant and seem overwhelmed and confused. The McFlurry was so underfilled. It's unacceptable.

The lady at the cashier today was very rude and worked quite slowly, sending people away who had already ordered and paid, simply because their orders apparently never arrived. When it was our turn, she suddenly got the people behind us and took their orders. The service for our meal was a total disaster. We had to wait almost an hour, and on top of that, we received the wrong items and an ENTIRE MISSING MENU...seriously. I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat there. It was absolutely terrible, and on top of that, a lot of angry people left the place without eating.

Placed a large order today via Lieferando, and all the rolls were moldy from the McCrispy!!! Yuck! It was more than just a blue fur, it definitely should have been obvious during preparation!

I go there occasionally after midnight. Unfortunately, it's the most uncomfortable McDonald's I've ever seen in Germany. It's barely heated, if at all. No music, just the horrible, atonal beeping of the kitchen appliances. Depending on the traffic, I now prefer to drive a little further to Mühlheim, Heifeskamp, ​​where you can feel a little more comfortable while eating.

The store isn't clean. Especially the restrooms. During our visit, the sink in the men's restroom was full of vomit. Unfortunately, often disappointing I've eaten at McDonald's several times, but this location didn't impress me. The shop is often unclean and my food has been cold on several occasions. Worst MC's I've ever been to, the burgers tasted like the grill was cleaned once a month. The staff was not only unfriendly towards the customers, but they also fought with each other and lowkey. It wouldn't have taken much for them to fight. And the customers in this MCs were so unbelievably anti-social (the place can't do anything about that) they left their rubbish lying around everywhere, shouted and were generally very unpleasant! If you want to eat at one MC's, find another one!!!

At the terminal you can only order Coke in reusable cups as disposable ones are not available. Toilet was a complete disaster, urine on the floor and in the trash can. Conclusion - Disgusting, dirty and very poor service.
