Ein sehr schönes Restaurant für unsere Motorrad-Mittagspause. Super leckere Hamburger.

Ich muss normalerweise 10 Sterne geben. Da wir jemanden im Rollstuhl dabei hatten,und vorher angefragt hatten,bei der Tisch Reservierung,wurde der Tisch schon für den Rollstuhl vorbereitet. Für unseren Rolli Fahrer war alles mit Rollstuhl erreichbar auch WC. Dafür schon mal ein dickes Lob. Das Essen war perfekt, Personal sehr freundlich,es wurde auch zwischendurch immer mal gefragt, ob alles ok ist,oder ob wir noch was brauchen. Preise vollkommen ok. Sehr schöne Sommer Terrasse. Wir können dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen, auch wir werden wieder kommen .

Steak sollte Medium Rare sein - und es war Medium rare ♥️ ein Traum. Perfekte Kruste und innen drin super soft! Die Bohnen hatten eine sehr tolle rauchige Note 🔥 Wir kommen definitiv nochmal!

Wir haben gestern Abend auf unserer Autoreise hier gegessen. Wir haben beide Schnitzel bestellt; meine Frau das traditionelle Wiener Schnitzel und ich die Variante mit Ananas und Pfirsich, überbacken mit Käse. Dazu gab es Pommes und Salat vom Buffet. Es war ein köstliches Essen: Die Schnitzel waren von guter Qualität und die Portionen großzügig!

Heute haben wir den 70. Geburtstag meiner Mutter gefeiert. Das Essen in Buffetform war – wie immer – fantastisch. Die Servicekräfte waren freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Besonders toll fanden wir die Möglichkeit, unseren eigenen Kuchen mitzubringen – einfach grandios. Vielen Dank für den rundum gelungenen Ablauf – von der Absprache des Essens bis hin zur Dekoration hat alles wunderbar geklappt.

Gaststätte mit einer schönen veganen und vegetarischen Auswahl. Das findet man in der Eifel selten! Ich hatte den sehr leckeren veganen Burger mit einer fruchtig pikanten Soße. Das i- Tüpfelchen wäre noch ein veganes Dessert.

Das Essen ist reichlich und lecker! Preis-Leistung ist okay. Der Service war in Ordnung, die Angestellten freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Räumlichkeit modern und gemütlich. Es gibt noch einen größeren Raum da sitzen man allerdings nicht so schön. 2 Dinge die ich zu bemängeln habe: 1. Der Aperol war sehr schwach. Aperol war kaum zu schmecken 2. Die Salatbar: leider sehr wenig Auswahl allerdings war der Salat frisch. Es gab Kopfsalat, Rotkohlsalat, weiße Bohnen, Paprika, Gurke, Oliven, Peperoni

Ich habe heute Abend im Mayer's in Schleiden gut gegessen. Typisch deutsch und daher einfach lecker. Großzügige Portionen (und man kann sie auch etwas kleiner bestellen). Freundlicher Service. Der Gin Tonic davor war etwas fad. Ich habe schon deutlich aufwendigere Varianten gesehen. Aber das hat den Genuss nicht getrübt.

Ich habe die Monatsspezialität mit Spargel und Schnitzel probiert. Es war im Großen und Ganzen gut, aber der Geschmack war nicht besonders herausragend oder unvergesslich. Der Preis lag bei 27 €, was vergleichbar mit dem ist, was man in Luxemburg erwarten würde, aber für ein kleines Dorfrestaurant in Deutschland erschien er mir etwas teuer. Insgesamt ein ordentliches Erlebnis, aber nichts Besonderes.

Wir haben heute hier gegessen. Schnitzel mit Pommes (19 €) und ein Hähnchenfilet nach toskanischer Art, überbacken mit Tomaten und Käse, dazu Tomatensoße und Pommes (21,50 €). Beides war sehr lecker. Wir hatten übrigens die kleine Speisekarte, da die reguläre Speisekarte erst ab 17:30 Uhr verfügbar ist. Freundlicher Service! Salatbar vorhanden.

Wir hatten heute ein wunderbares Abendessen im Restaurant Mayer's. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und wir mussten nicht lange auf unser Essen warten! Wir hatten ein köstliches Wiener Schnitzel (Seniorenportion), das mehr als ausreichend war. Anschließend gönnten wir uns noch eine schöne Dame Blanche.

Wir wurden überaus freundlich bedient. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis war sehr in Ordnung. Es war überaus sauber und einladend. Wir werden wiederkommen! Wally und Wolfgang aus Aachen sagen danke.

Ich wurde sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und schnell bedient. Das Essen (Tortelini Verdi…) waren sehr sehr gut. Alles in allem ein Traum. Preisleistung absolut top! Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

Sehr schlechte Organisation. Beim Mittagessen kam das Catering eine halbe Stunde zu spät, was bereits einen negativen ersten Eindruck hinterlassen hat. Die Qualität des Essens war insgesamt nur mittelmäßig. Einige Gerichte waren kaum gewürzt, während andere wiederum viel zu stark gewürzt waren – ein klares Zeichen für fehlende Abstimmung in der Küche. Das Abendessen wurde zwar pünktlich serviert, jedoch war der Gulasch angebrannt. Anstatt das Problem richtig zu lösen, wurde offenbar einfach eine große Menge Salz hinzugefügt, um den Geschmack zu überdecken. Das Ergebnis war ungenießbar – viele Gäste haben ihr Essen stehen lassen oder sogar weggeworfen. Es wurde eine Reklamation eingereicht, doch die Entschädigung in Höhe von lediglich 180 € in Form eines Gutscheins ist angesichts der gesamten Situation völlig unzureichend. Diese Erfahrung hat bei mir großes Unzufriedenheit ausgelöst. Wir werden definitiv nicht wiederkommen, und auch meine Gäste werden dieses Restaurant sicher meiden. Insgesamt eine sehr schlechte Leistung und noch schlechtere Werbung für das Restaurant.

Super leckeres Essen und Top Service, sehr empfehlenswert.

Die Küche schließt um 21:00 Uhr. Wir kamen um 21:15 Uhr an und konnten nach kurzer Rücksprache noch das leckere Essen und den freundlichen Service genießen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Durch Zufall hier eingekehrt und zu dritt sehr begeistert, glücklich und zufrieden! Ambiente perfekt, Essen perfekt - Service perfekt. Wir hatten: Holzfellerteller, Sauerbraten, Rinderkraftbrühe, Vegane Bowl, Apfelstrudel, Schockoküchlein.. alles ist zu empfehlen! (Danke Frau Keil!) Wir empfehlen gerne weiter!

Das Personal ist sehr gastfreundlich. Es ist ein gemütlicher Ort zum Sitzen und die Atmosphäre ist toll. Das Essen schmeckt so, wie man es erwartet.

Waren heute Abend 31.12.25 bei der Silvester Feier mit Geppi & Stefan. Das Essen war perfekt und die Bedienung war auf Zack. Meyers hat sich zu 100 % verbessert gegenüber vor ca 5 Jahren. Bitte den Stand halten.

Wir waren gestern zum allersten Male dort mit meiner Mutter zum Weihnachtsbuffet. Die Tische waren wunderbar eingedeckt, die Räumlichkeiten sehr schön weihnachtlich geschmückt, ohne kitschig zu sein und jeder Gast erhielt ein kleines Tütchen mit Gebäck. Unserem Wunsch nach etwas mehr Platz, aufgrund des mitgebrachten Rollstuhls wurde hervorragend berücksichtigt. Wir hatten einen schönen Platz mit Aussicht im vorderen Bereich des Restaurants. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, stets zur Stelle, wenn man einen Wunsch hatte, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Ein wirklich tolles Team. Das Weihnachtsbuffet war sehr abwechslungsreich und hatte definitv für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Das Wildgulasch war für uns mit Abstand das beste Hauptgericht und beim Nachtisch müssen die Glühkirschen und die Herrencreme besonders hervorgehoben werden. Ein rundherum tolles Essen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir waren heute den 2.Sonntag hintereinander da,super lecker 😋, Portionen mega groß. Ich empfehle ein paar Gerichte, Monschauer Grillpfanne,Sauerbraten mit Klöße und Rotkohl .... Mega lecker 😋

War das erste Mal da und Sehr schöne Atmosphäre, auch die Ausstattung und Gestaltung. Würde mir nur im Barbereich eine Karte wünschen mit allen Getränken und Preisen drauf. Sonst finde ich es sehr sehr schön auch wenn man alleine hin geht.

Haben nur eine Kleinigkeit gegessen. Essen war super und Personal freundlich

Seasonal menu – plenty of choice for every taste – very friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. We'd be happy to return. We were there with a group of 14 people and it was a wonderful evening.

We celebrated our wedding at Mayer's. From the starter soup to the main course, which we selected à la carte, to our wedding cake and the other cakes, everything was absolutely delicious. We received very friendly service and celebrated with 28 people in a beautifully decorated room. It was truly lovely—we highly recommend it. We came on a Friday evening to grab a quick bite to eat before an appointment and were really running out of time. We mentioned this before ordering, and I have to say, the staff were all extremely polite and helpful, and everything went so quickly, even though it was very busy, that we finished even earlier than hoped and arrived on time for our appointment. The food was also delicious, very, very delicious. It was truly perfect; we would go back anytime.

The food is excellent, and the portions are more than generous. I did have to scoop my own salad from the salad bar, but this has the added benefit of being able to choose your own. A personal highlight for me were the pickled peppers. Always good! There's not a huge selection at the salad bar, but it's sufficient. The menu offers more than enough dishes. The schnitzel sauce was delicious, my pepper sauce was nicely seasoned, and my partner's hunter's sauce was nicely spiced. The service was friendly, and they have Weihenstephaner on tap, one of my favorite German weissbiers.

The food and service are top-notch. But those who don't yet accept card payments, or, as here, only accept card payments starting from €15, have missed the mark. That's service, too, and simply part of modern life. Just rethink things and offer pure service. I suspect that the 12% VAT reduction from January 1, 2026 won't be passed on here either.

Delicious food, generous portions, smaller portions are also available. It's also no problem to get a different type of potato with your meal. The salad from the salad bar is great; you can choose whatever you like. The friendly staff makes it perfect.

My wife and I had a delicious meal. A modern atmosphere. We got something to eat just before closing time. Super friendly staff. The young ladies were very thoughtful. If we happen to be passing through there again, we'd be happy to come back.

I happened upon it quite by chance and was not disappointed. The food was excellent, as was the service. I particularly enjoyed the ambiance. I'll be happy to stop by again on my next visit to the Eifel.

I was there with my children. We sat outside. We ordered three Cokes, two Kinder Tillers and a normal plate. The Coke was served extra large, not the normal size, so you pay extra even though you didn't order it. The fries were far too salty for my little daughter and not cooked properly, so my daughter couldn't eat it. For the older children, the schnitzel was far too small and the defects were equivalent to a Kinder Tiller. In the end, it was almost 60 euros despite complaining. They couldn't even get the price reduced by a land charge!!!! I was there years ago and it was already not nice. I thought they would have understood and changed a lot of things. They just want to make money!!! Never again!!!!

Excellent restaurant with authentic German dishes like schnitzel and the like. You can also enjoy the salad bar. The prices are reasonable by Dutch standards.

We visited this restaurant late in the evening and were immediately greeted by a very friendly and attentive server. We were seated immediately without any waiting – a wonderful start to the evening! The food was not only delicious, but also prepared with great attention to detail. You can immediately tell that the food is cooked with passion. The warm hospitality that accompanied us throughout our entire visit is particularly noteworthy. Whether for a late dinner or a relaxed lunch – this restaurant is highly recommended! A truly delicious restaurant with a great ambiance and excellent service. We would love to come back!

Nice restaurant with a German menu. The steak and pork tenderloin were tender. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside. Friendly staff.

We had a delicious meal for a good price. We ordered a burger, which was delicious. The waitresses were very friendly.

The food is good, home-style and very tasty and the staff is very friendly. We would love to come back.

I can't say anything about the food. We stopped there just to have a drink. When we said we only wanted a drink, the atmosphere changed. We didn't really feel welcome anymore, which is rather odd when you have "Cafe" on your doorstep. We drank two Coke Zeros (0.5L) and were charged €11. This had to be paid in cash; card payments are only accepted for orders over €15. We definitely won't be returning.

I had the salmon and potato rösti at Restaurant Mayer – and honestly, I've rarely had such a good meal. The salmon was perfectly cooked, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The rösti was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, just as it should be. The flavors were perfectly balanced, no unnecessary frills, simply really well done. Added to that is the pleasant ambiance – not overly fancy, but stylish and cozy. The service was attentive, friendly, but unobtrusive. You feel welcome. The bottom line: If you like good food in a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back.

Operation still needs to be learned, otherwise good and pleasant

It was a successful evening. There was everything from schnitzel to Strammer Max. What was really great was that they had a salad bar. Which is something you'd normally expect at Greek restaurants. Super friendly staff, very approachable. A highly recommended restaurant.

Do not go there, they ask extra money for the salat buffet when you pay and do not tell you before !! When you tell them this , they do not react.

First came the food, then the cutlery. My food was on the table first. It took a few minutes for me to get my cutlery, and what was the result? My food was cold. The fillet shouldn't have been so dry. The wine was delicious. The food was also delicious, but it was cold, which is a shame. 😔

We came here for dinner and can only say the service and the food were absolutely excellent. I deducted a point for the ambiance because we sat on the terrace, but even there, the tables were immediately wiped clean of pollen. If we come back here, we'd be happy to come back. Keep up the good work.

Hello, we had dinner at Mayer's on May 12th, 2025. We sat outside and the temperatures were just perfect. We once had sauerbraten, pork fillet and schnitzel with asparagus. It was really tasty and good portions. We had our dog with us and he was welcome. It was a beautiful evening! We'll be back. Anita & Thomas

Luckily reserved. Delicious food (Wiener schnitzel was buttery soft. Service was friendly and quick. The only thing I missed was a drinks menu. All in all...highly recommended

The chef had fried the pork fillet to death, the side dishes were lukewarm, the dessert crepe with orange and ice cream left a lot to be desired and it was overpriced...the only positive thing is the staff...reminds me more of a canteen and you have to pay extra at the counter

Went there just before lunch break. Very friendly staff that didn't cause any stress despite the shop being closed. Delicious food (had the vegan burger, tortellini and a schnitzel). The staff was very attentive, friendly and quick. Can highly recommend it, thank you very much!

Disappointed with the expensive Christmas buffet (approx. €45 per person). Short version: Despite asking several times, I didn't get a drink menu. So we didn't know how expensive the drinks were. There was nothing Christmassy about the atmosphere at all. On the contrary, we thought we were sitting in a factory canteen. It would have been nice if there had been something Christmassy at the Christmas buffet. Food was only lukewarm. And the vegetables.........well. At a price of around €45, I have different ideas about quality. But the best thing was when we were asked at 8:02 p.m. if any of us would go to the buffet. Please note, we were only there at 7 p.m. Conclusion: once and never again

German cuisine, friendly service

We were there with a group of 10 people. Our drinks were only taken after about 30 minutes, and the food took another 30 minutes. One meal was completely forgotten. The fried potatoes were not crispy and the steak that was ordered well done was less than medium. No recommendation to eat here

We went to Mayer's with a reservation for a family celebration with 11 people. It took a quarter of an hour before we could order drinks and another 30 minutes before we were allowed to order food. Some of the food was too salty, the steaks were done wrong, the fried potatoes weren't crispy and some of the drinks were stale. The ambience is rather bleak, a large hall with conference tables. But the service made a lot of effort.

I feel very comfortable as a guest at Mayer's. The service is quick and very nice. The food is very tasty, there is a star deduction for the food because my burger bun was unfortunately very dry.

I had the 300g steak with Champion, medium......top fried, to the point, very tasty👍

Service, food, everything was great.

Four of us visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening. Luckily we had reservations. Because the team had several celebrations in the house at the same time. We didn't notice the slightest thing about it. Which is really a huge challenge. The service team was perfectly prepared and we felt welcome from the start. The young team was always ready and convincing across the board. The dishes, whether in the weekly menu or menu, are excellent in terms of selection, quality, temperature and taste. The Monchau mustard soup, wild ragou and crème brulee from Tonkabone were delicious. At the end there was a house schnapps and coffee. Anyone who comes to Schleiden, whether for business or pleasure, should plan a visit to the great restaurant. By the way, the price/performance level is also top. Thank you for the lovely time.
