Gemünder Kurhaus & Restaurant GmbH in Schleiden

In my opinion, the ambience is kept rather clean and, in my opinion, does not do justice to the quality of the food and service, but it is better that way than the other way around. Service and very friendly and very competent. The cuisine is one of the best I was able to enjoy in the Eifel. Of course there will be more elegant kitchens, but the air here is already quite thin. This is of course also reflected in the prices, but everything is within a very acceptable range. You leave with the feeling of having eaten very well and the fact that it was a little more expensive is not present because it was certainly worth it. I'll definitely come back and thank you for the lovely and delicious evening where everything was just right.

Very nice atmosphere, excellent food. We had the Kaftbrühe vom Rind soup and the Kurhaus burger. Highly recommend!

I had mussels, they were fresh and a very large portion and my wife had the boiled beef. Both dishes were very tasty and the service was also very friendly. Not quite as comfortable due to the high rooms. It wasn't cheap, but it was reasonable.

We were in this restaurant on a bridge day in the afternoon after a hike, getting a table without a reservation was no problem. The interior is attractive and beautifully decorated with a sense of decoration. Tables are not too close together. The service was excellent, friendly, attentive. The menu states that the food is freshly cooked, so the slightly longer waiting time is completely acceptable. And it's worth the wait: The starter plate for 2 people is a little more expensive, but has some very tasty details. The baked potato with chanterelles (seasonal) and the vegetarian burger with halloumi were generous and both very good in their own right. Tea and espresso with a small piece of cake rounded off the visit on a positive note. Definitely recommended.

The Kurhaus is actually beautifully located, the outdoor area has been redesigned and spruced up. But the snippy service ruined everything, several guests got up and left. A spa house tends to appeal to older guests, but they obviously don't want them anymore. We only ate an appetizer. It was okay, but nothing special. Other guests complained about the food, so we decided not to have a main course. The champagne was terrible, ice cream is only soft ice cream. Strange concept!

The food was good, although the halloumi cheese in the vegetarian burger wasn't tasty. The composition of the vegetarian burger was also changed. He was better before. There was the burger with camembert. We were disappointed with the dessert offering. 2 things to choose from and soft ice cream. Why soft ice cream? In our opinion, a few selected types of ice cream would have been better. The service was nice and courteous.

I live nearby and eat here every now and then. At the beginning of the year, prices here were raised massively and unreasonably. A burger, for example, cost over €30. I can understand anyone who thought it was too expensive. Recently, however, the prices have fallen again and are absolutely reasonable. You get very good food here with very good service on the edge of the beautiful Gemünder Kurpark. I hope the prices stay that way now. Then: Absolute recommendation!

We had dinner with friends yesterday. The food on offer was very high quality and we were served delicious food. However, the service left a lot to be desired. The drinks we ordered were not served and the appetizer plates were still at the table when we wanted to pay. However, we waited in vain for about half an hour for the bill, which we then paid at the counter because no one came. The surrounding tables didn't really look inviting either. After guests had left, it was already late in the hour, the used dishes would simply be left standing. So the service urgently needs to be worked on.

Very good restaurant in Gemünd, which is otherwise unfortunately a bit run down. Lovingly prepared food and good service!

Had a delicious Kurhaus burger, although pricey outside the rest of the region.

It’s the season for enjoying some Pfifferlinge! The local Eifel pork tastes great too. This restaurant is spacious, buggy- and dog-friendly. I’d like to stop by and try some other dishes next time.

This was highly recommended on all levels! The schnitzel was the best we have ever eaten, accompanied by very tasty fries and a delicious salad. When asked if we wanted the menu again to order dessert, we unfortunately had to pass as we were satisfied with the meal. Even though we are both big eaters. The service was also very friendly. Our dog was also welcome inside. In short, one of the best experiences in terms of restaurants. Unfortunately, they receive fewer people, because they are not really located in the center of the village, even if it is only a 200 meter walk further than a restaurant where people had to wait on the terrace until it stopped drizzle before they came to serve. ...

Were here for coffee. Nice service. Fast service. It's very nice outside at the moment. Lots going on here. So it's best to reserve. Had dinner today. Terrific. The staff was nice and helpful, as was the case the first time. You should definitely make a reservation in the evening!

Wow. My wife and I went to this place twice on our short trip. First of all, the salads!! Crazy! They're so good!! The staff are friendly and very accommodating of English clientele. The appetizers are great, especially the bruschetta. We loved it here.

Very tasty meal here! We had the rump steak and the snitzel with the recommended jäger sauce and they were both perfectly cooked and full of flavor! Both the fries and the wedges were good and the salad was fresh as it should be. Sat outside on the terrace, beautifully maintained. Stairs down for the sanitary facilities, which were also very clean. Service was friendly and our food came quite quickly as it was packed regardless of the place.

Very tasty food, the steak is recommended. A seasonal menu also available. Friendly service. A young lady served the entire terrace and did it wonderfully and smoothly.

We've been here several times. But since January 1st, 2024 the prices have been increased extremely, so that we no longer want/can afford it.

We went to the Gemünder Kurhaus Restaurant for dinner today and were thrilled. We chose the bruschetta variation, the veal boiled beef with savoy cabbage and rosemary potatoes and the veggie burger with homemade, Mediterranean buns and Camembert breaded with panko. Both dishes were beautifully presented and really delicious. The service was very attentive and friendly. The price-performance ratio is reasonable and the atmosphere is cozy. We'd love to come back

Nice location in a nice location. The staff is very friendly. We had two cappuccinos for four euros each, not that cheap! We took a look at the menu. Then we stopped spitting, 29 EUR for a burger with fries seems really excessive to us, even for the quality. We're not coming anymore, sorry!

We have returned to the Kurhaus several times over the last few years. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the service and ambience. The food is consistently good, but the current price-performance ratio is no longer right.

An upscale restaurant. I thought about going there for a while given the prices, but in the end it was very worth it. You can then taste the difference to cheaper ingredients and finished products. For me it was a great reward after a long day of hiking. Tip: You have to get there early for cake, as many people looked into the tube. Otherwise they have delicious soft ice cream :)

A little more expensive, but really excellent cuisine and very attentive service

Very tasty, generous portions, nicely decorated, pleasant acoustics. If we have to say one negative thing: we didn't get any mayonnaise with the fries ;-) Suggestion: place a logo with the vegetarian options. After all, there are many more than just the dishes under the heading "vegetarian".

Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is no longer right. We liked going there before, but now at €30 for a burger or almost €40 for a steak, unfortunately no longer possible as a family. We'd rather eat somewhere else where it tastes just as good for humane prices. The service could be better for such high prices. You could expect a lot more. It's a shame...

Apart from the friendly staff and the attractive location, there is unfortunately little positive to say about this restaurant. The prices are absolutely exorbitant, especially when you consider that a simple bruschetta costs an exorbitant €12.90. Unfortunately, I cannot make a recommendation for this pricing policy and the measly offer.

The food was very tasty, no question. I still have to deduct a point because I find it almost outrageously expensive. I run a restaurant myself and know that you don't have to set prices that high. Yes, everything has become more expensive, including shopping of course. But despite everything, everything should somehow remain within limits👍 In the end, everyone has to decide for themselves

After a first visit we were so excited that there had to be a second visit on the third visit. Yes, the prices are a bit higher, but that makes up for the quality of the food. Not only is there a sufficient menu from salad to currywurst, burgers to steaks and more, but also great quality wines and great service. I am a person who often visits different restaurants with friends or family, and I have also been very disappointed as a regular customer at another restaurant, but here at the Gemünder Kurhaus Restaurant my every wish is fulfilled and it is always suitable for a celebration in a friendly atmosphere. There is also a lot of emphasis here on attention, friendliness, gratitude, everything speaks for the Gemünder Kurhausrestaurant.

Everything we ordered was very tasty. But everything is far too expensive. It bordered on usury. We even found that the bread that was served before the meal and that we hadn't ordered was €3.50 on the bill. You should probably rethink the whole thing.

We've always enjoyed eating there, the service is super friendly, it's cozy and nicely decorated... but then unfortunately the shock, the prices have risen so much that we'll now forgo it for the time being, €100 for two main courses and 2- Unfortunately, 3 drinks isn’t possible at all…it’s a real shame!!

schönes Restaurant und nette Bedienung. Auch das Essen ist gut, allerdings stimmt das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr. Zum Jahreswechsel wurden die Preise um bis zu 10€ pro Gericht erhöht, Schade.

Wir haben im Rahmen einer Eifelreise einen Abend hier gegessen und wurden sehr positiv überrascht. Das lokal ist groß und schön modern eingerichtet. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich. Die Speisen sind nicht ganz günstig, haben aber eine entsprechend hohe Qualität. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist aus meiner Sicht sehr gut.

Für mich perfekt. Tolles Essen und ein sehr ansprechendes Ambiente. Der Service ist genial und super freundlich.

Wir waren zu dritt am Sonntag Abend essen. Ich esse vegan und bin notfalls auch mit einem Salat und einer Beilage zufrieden. Auf der Karte waren tolle vegetarische Gerichte zu finden. Ich fragte nach, ob eines dieser Gerichte veganisierbar wäre. Das war überhaupt kein Problem, die Küche hat improvisiert und es war sehr lecker. Auch meine omnivoren Begleiter waren beide begeistert von ihrem Essen. Die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Auch die Einrichtung des Restaurants ist sehr schön, mir persönlich nur etwas zu offen gehalten und daher vielleicht nicht sooo gemütlich. Wie werden aber auf jeden Fall häufiger kommen.

Leider mussten wir über 1 Stunde auf das essen warten.Der Kurhaus Burger war okay aber die Wedges zu lange frittiert. Von meinem Mann war die Pilzsoße und das Schnitzel versalzen und der Beilage Salat mit zu viel Essig versaut

Besonders gutes Essen und nettes Ambiente. Hier gibt es noch einen wirklich hervorragenden Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Im Zuge eine Wanderung waren wir in dem Kurhaus essen. Die Speisekarte war sehr übersichtlich und man war sich sehr schnell ein einig war man haben wollte. Das Gebäude wurde nach der Flutkatastrophe 2021 wieder Instant gesetzt und dementsprechend auf etwas modern gemacht. Sobald man die obere Etage besucht weil dort das WC ist trifft man auf die 70/80ger Jahre. Alt gebackene Gardinen und die WC sind aus dem selben Jahrzehnt. Sitzt man wieder unten fehlt ein wenig das Hintergrund Gedudel. Es läuft keine Hintergrund Musik und dadurch sind die Gespräche mit den Freunde etwas gehemmt da man auch die Gespräche der anderen mitbekommt. Das essen war von der Zubereitung gut. Wir hatten den Haus Burger , den Wildschwein Burger sowie 2x das Schweine Medaillon. Zur Vorspeise gab es noch eine Suppe und Bruschetta. Die beiden Burger waren super belegt und die Portionen haben sehr satt gemacht. Bei den Medallions waren es leider etwas zu viele Kartoffeln zu dem Fleisch. Die Relation von Fleisch zu Kartoffeln hat nicht gepasst. Preislich waren wir mit 4 Personen inklusive Getränke bei ca 150 Euro Alles in allem ein gutes Restaurant welches die Flut gut verkraftet hat.

Nette Location, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Von den Speisen kann ich nur übers Schnitzel mit Jägersauce, Pommes, Salat berichten. Hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt, die Jägersauce fand ich etwas zu Salzig, sonst alles sehr gut.

Reservierung, Service, Kosten waren gut da. Essen war naja, hatte den veganen Burger mit Süßkartoffel Pommes. Burger war top, Kartoffeln leider aus fertig-TK. Haben das Gericht sehr runter gezogen. Bedienung konnte mit der Kritik nicht viel anfangen.

Die Speisen Sind Super und die Bedienung immer nett und freundlich das preis Leistung Verhältnis stimmt trotzdem nicht Bsp. für ein Normales Alkoholfreies Weizen 5€ zu verlangen find ich übertrieben. Deswegen der Eine Stern Abzug.

Was ein Glück, das Restaurant ist wieder geöffnet! Wir kommen immer wieder in diese schöne Gegend und hier in diesem Restaurant lassen wir uns gerne kulinarisch verwöhnen. Jetzt, nachdem die Hochwasserschäden besteigt sind, ist hier alles noch freundlicher, einfach das Ambiente noch ansprechender geworden. Die Bedienung war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend, obwohl fast alle Tische belegt waren. Die sind ständig hin- und hergeflitzt. Das Essen, ich hatte eine Pfifferling-Cremesuppe und als Hauptgericht etwas ohne Fleisch, aber mit Pfifferlingen. Das hat geschmeckt, hmmm, das war so lecker. Auch meine Frau, sie hatte sich einen Flammkuchen mit Pfifferlingen bestellt, war von diesem Gericht hellauf begeistert. Ein ganz dickes Lob an die Küche. Wir werden wieder kommen.👍😋😋

Super schöne Atmosphäre, aufmerksamer und schneller Service. Der vegetarische Burger war sehr lecker!

Sehr lange Wartezeit für Getränke und Essen Bestellung, 25 min und länger. Gäste die nach uns kamen wurde die Karte ausgehändigt und die Bestellung aufgenommen. Getränke und Menue wurden erst nach 45 min serviert.
