The food was absolutely delicious and the waiters were all very friendly and attentive! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

I've been eating here regularly for four years, and whether it's delivery or dining in, the food is always perfect, the delivery or service is fast and friendly, and the hygiene is 10/10. Simply great.

What a waste of money we spent on lunch here. It wasn't tasty at all, and all we did after eating was leave us thirsty (thanks to the MSG). It was a very unpleasant experience.

Incredibly good value for money!

Unfortunately, the food didn't impress me. I had lamb, and it was dry and not tender. The other dish, with chicken, was delicious. The appetizer with the three sauces that you usually get for free at any Indian restaurant, and the thin bread, papadums, were also disappointing. The sauces were far too sweet (except for the mint sauce), more like jam, and the bread was a bit soggy. The service was attentive, and I really liked the atmosphere. Perhaps many other dishes taste better than lamb. 🤷

Great food and friendly service. The prices are very reasonable.

It's always delicious, the service is great, and they offer papadums with sauces, a starter salad, bhatura (if there's a group of people) and two, and a juice or schnapps at the end. Any food you don't finish will be packed up for you free of charge upon request. Reservations are only necessary if there are several people. Two people can almost always get a table. You can sit outside in the lovely courtyard or inside. I always enjoy coming here and have even been able to convince people who didn't like Indian food.

We had redfish fillet with spicy sauce and rice here; very tasty, generous portions, and relatively inexpensive. Highly recommended! If we're ever in Potsdam again, we'll be back!

In terms of taste, this is truly the best Indian restaurant in the region. We've tried almost every Indian restaurant from Brandenburg to Werder, from Belzig to Potsdam. Maya's is by far the best. We were seated upstairs, where only one other table was occupied. It's quiet, unless someone goes to the bathroom. Unfortunately, waiters rarely came around, but that was certainly an exception. We'll be back.

Today, the two of us went to Mayas for the first time and would give it 10 stars if we could. The service is very attentive, the food is plentiful and tastes fantastic – both the starter soups and the main courses. Many thanks to the Mayas team for the wonderful evening.

The delivery service is always fast. The food arrives hot and tastes great. They even include bhatura and papadums – amazing!! Especially when you're not eating in the restaurant but at home, I really appreciate that they put so much effort into it. Will definitely order again :-)

Excellent food – as soon as you enter, you're enveloped by the aroma of the spices, which are also masterfully used in the dishes – each dish is exceptionally tasty and varied! We'd love to come back.

I was in Potsdam with my sister, and we decided on Mayas Restaurant. We ordered on-site, and the food was ready for pickup in less than 10 minutes. The staff was super friendly, and the food was fresh and delicious! It was really delicious! The portions are large, especially the fish, which was really good and plentiful. I'll definitely be back when I'm back in Potsdam. 😊

Delicious fresh Indian soups and dishes. Highly recommended!

Very good Indian cuisine, especially the soups! Mango soup, chicken soup (mulligatawny) – a culinary delight! Naan bread, and the main courses, such as mango chicken or chicken Madras, were also very good. They also served extra batura bread. Very friendly and attentive service. Nice Indian ambiance in a Dutch-style building. Definitely recommended.

My cousin and I went to Berlin for Christmas 2023. One day, we visited Potsdam and ate at this restaurant. It was a 100% experience: cozy atmosphere, delicious food, pleasant and attentive staff, beautiful location... incredible quality.

Absolutely fantastic! We had our stall around the corner at the pottery market and were looking for a quick meal. We ordered in advance by phone to pick up the food. A colleague from the market had already eaten there the night before and was absolutely thrilled! My husband got the food, and we also got a salad, a small mango lassi, and bathura. The food was absolutely fantastic, the staff incredibly friendly, and everything was just perfect. We'll eat here again on our next visit to Potsdam and highly recommend the restaurant!

Here, you can sit in the pleasant courtyard. Unfortunately, we didn't see any sign indicating that payment is only possible in cash.

I ordered the lunch special to go. For €7.90, the butter chicken was a lot of sauce and not much chicken, with four small pieces of breast fillet cut straight off. If you're hungry, you'll be disappointed. I ordered bread as well, which brought the total to €10.90.

Couldn't recommend a better place to eat in Potsdam. We weren't fluent in German and they were extremely patient with us, making an effort to communicate all the time. The staff was extremely kind and the food was delicious and generous. The terrace is also sweetly decorated and it's an amazing place to stay. The price is worth it. This was our first experience and we hope it's not the last.

We ordered from Maya Restaurant today and were thrilled! The delivery arrived on time, and the food was hot and fresh. We ordered Mutton Curry, Chicken Curry, and Chicken Jalfrezi – all dishes were excellently seasoned, authentic in flavor, and very filling. Thank you 🙂

Very tasty food, although the Bhatura bread was too hard. The servers are very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is lovely, both inside and in the courtyard. What bothered me a little, however, is that card payments aren't accepted here. This should really be standard by now, and I personally don't know of any other restaurants in Potsdam where this isn't possible. It's a bit odd. I can generally recommend the restaurant, given the above-mentioned points.

We ended up there by chance and were very impressed. Not so good for a long time and you sing Indian food. Extremely attentive and friendly waiters. There are starters here such as papadam and salad. Had the Maya Variation for 2 people with fish, chicken and duck. Everything was very tasty and seasoned. Rice and bathura cooked perfectly. Good drinks menu and the ambience in the courtyard is very quiet, stylish and cozy. Very happy again because the prices were completely reasonable.

I have been to India several times for work, but have never had Indian food as good as at Mayas. We were able to enjoy our 3-course menu in a pleasant courtyard atmosphere with good weather and excellent service. Certainly one of the best food recommendations in the Dutch Quarter in Potsdam.

Very very tasty food. Top value for money. Super nice staff and good service. The only drawback is that unfortunately no card payment is possible, but friends quickly helped out. Therefore only 4 stars for service. Still highly recommended!!!

I really enjoyed the food, the reservation worked out for the group and we were sitting in the green, quiet courtyard. Furthermore, the employees are friendly, which is something you often don't find anywhere else these days. I'd love to come back.

Food great, cellar super nice and accommodating. Prices are completely OK, around €13-17 for a main course that really fills you up and is super tasty. The chicken was also very tender. There was bread for free and a mango schnapps (although the word schnapps is not appropriate here), rather mango juice/puree with a little vodka or something like that, but it was also very tasty. My wife and I were thrilled and would love to come back.

Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was a very disappointing experience. First of all, the ambience was quite nice, but unfortunately that was already the positive. The food wasn't to our taste and in my opinion the price-performance ratio wasn't right. But the biggest point of criticism was the pay. After we had finished eating we wanted to pay by card, only to be told that this was not possible. In a year where almost every store accepts card payments, it is incomprehensible that a restaurant would not offer this option. It's very annoying when you don't have cash with you and such problems arise when paying. Unfortunately, overall we were very disappointed with this experience and we will avoid this restaurant in the future.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, but unfortunately the food was not very flavourful. We were especially disappointed that the vindaloo didn't appear to have any chilli in it at all, and the panir jhal ferezi only the tiniest amount. We expected food labelled scharf/sehr scharf to have at least a little bit of heat! I was also disappointed that the vegetarian meals almost all contained dairy. The naan and poori were very good though.
