Food was not worth the price. Service and Ambience was ok.

Very tasty, very friendly, the food is on the table quickly, the decor is also nice. However, the portions and the proportion of meat and cream cheese could be a little higher. The portion size is just a little too small, so one star is deducted. Nevertheless would come again.

Wir sind extra nach Potzdam zum Essen gefahren Am 13.04.25 Es war ziemlich mild und wir endschieden uns draußen Platz zu nehmen Als ein übler Geruch aus dem Straßenkulli kahm wechselten wir den Tisch etwas zur Hauswand hin dort war der Geruch nicht mehr so stark Leider hatten wir mit unserem Kellner Pech Er war irgendwie ungeduldig und wir hatten kaum Zeit unsere Auswahl der Getränke und das Essen auszusuchen Es fiel allen auf das er nicht so freundlich war Ziemlich kurz "angebunden" Unsere Getränke wurden einfach auf den Tisch gestellt verteilen durften wir sie selbst Kein Service überhaupt nicht Das Essen war OK nichts besonderes Es fiel auf das die Portionen nicht sehr groß im im Vergleich mit anderen Restaurants waren Ich denke wir werden dort nicht mehr essen gehen

Had an amazing time at Masala Haus with my friends! We indulged in the delicious Chola Bhatura, and the flavors were absolutely on point. The ambiance was vibrant and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for Indians and international friends alike. Also meet Bunty sir who is a very jolly and amazing human being. The service was top-notch, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If you're craving authentic Indian cuisine, look no further than Masala Haus. Highly recommend! 5/5 stars!

The service and food here is exceptional! I loved the ambience of the place. The waiters there were very kind and gave great recommendations for the food.

I wasn't particularly enthusiastic. The starter “cream cheese sticks” did not meet my expectations in any way. They were cheese wedges with solid cheese that was neither creamy nor had much flavor. I'm sure it was a finished product that had been briefly put through the fries. My main course was duck tikka. There was a 2 mm thick layer of fat under the skin and the skin itself was completely wobbly, so that it remained on the edge of the plate. I imagine it grilled differently. At the end, the waiter “miscalculated” the change. I don't need this place again.

We went to Masala today with the Schlemmerblock (gourmet group). Since it wasn't very busy, as we arrived after lunch, we were able to choose the best seat for us. I was immediately brought a glass of water because I had a coughing fit. Very attentive. The drinks were ordered quickly and served just as quickly. Our starter arrived fairly promptly. The main course waited until we had finished our starters. The food was very tasty. The server was very friendly and asked if we liked it. I can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience, and if I'm ever in Potsdam again, I'll definitely stop by again.

I visited Masala Haus with a group of four and spent €80. While the service and ambience were pleasant, the food did not meet our expectations. - Vegetable Biryani:- Too oily. - Grill Platter:- Malai chicken was dry, and the mutton pieces were stiff, for 24 euros, should have been definitely better. - Lamb Rogan Josh & Jhalfrezi:- Average taste. - Naans (Garlic, Coriander, Butter):- Surprisingly tangy, dry, did not feel like eating Naans. - Rice:- dry and bit undercooked. Overall, the price seemed ok for the service and atmosphere, but we were totally disappointed with the quality and taste of the food.

The food here tastes great. The prices are fair and I can especially recommend the lunch menu. In Potsdam you can hardly find anything tastier or cheaper than at Masala Haus. I like to go here during school breaks and can only recommend it.

Unfortunately, our experience at Masala Haus was disappointing due to the poor service. The waiter (an old man around 55 years old or something like that we couldn’t get his name because no one wants to say it )seemed completely uninterested in his job and gave the impression that he didn’t want to serve customers at all. His attitude was unprofessional and made us feel unwelcome. The food might be good, but service is just as important, and in this case, it really brought down the overall experience. I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure a better experience for future guests. +he was polite with German guests but with foreigners he wasn’t!

My first review was deleted. So again: The food and the lassi were first class. Somehow we couldn't recognize the friendliness of the waiter. Waiter number 2 wiped the leftovers off the table with the used napkin and waiter number 3 asked twice if we really didn't want to leave a tip. The ambience is in dire need of improvement. The restaurant has enormous potential due to the food it offers and should see the criticisms as an opportunity. Addition: The criticisms have been taken into account and I now enjoy coming to the Masala House. Only the furnishings could be a little more contemporary.

The food was very tasty! We ordered different dishes: Butter Chicken, Biryani and Lamb. The lamb was particularly delicious. Our waiter, Mr. Bounty, was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. I'm very satisfied!"

Das ist seit Jahren unser Lieblings-Inder. Es gibt viele vegetarische Gerichte, die nicht so ölüberladen daherkommen wie woanders schon oft erlebt. Das Lokal wirkt sehr gepflegt & sauber. Die Bedienung ist schnell, zuvorkommend, bei allem unaufdringlich, sogar witzig.

Really good restaurant. Very nice staff, happy to joke. Food absolutely delicious. I had two chili peppers for the level of spiciness in my dish. But don't panic. It was as mild as bland food. The food came quickly, but there are no warmers. A greeting from the kitchen. I'm already looking forward to the next time.

Very good food and certainly enough! It was very busy tonight. We were a group of 10. The waiter let us pass on some dishes with side dishes, but the food was so tasty that I easily forgave them. Furthermore, they were very friendly. I will come back here again next year!

Nice staff and food. We have tried paneer pakoda, duck vindaloo and lamb madras. Everything was perfect except the lamb madras (seems bit on the sweeter side to my taste and the smell of lamb was dominating the taste). They gave us complimentary papad in the beginning and butter naan (nice and soft) with the main course. Also offered tea/coffee/shots at the end. Overall the experience was nice.

Had the same problems with previous commenters, this restaurant is a tourist trap, the waiters (esp the lady) were very rude, the rice was too dry and the food could definitely be better.

I was expecting more from this restaurant as it seems like a 'fancy dining’- kind of vibe. I ordered chicken tandoori and the chicken was dry. The waiters (middle aged man & a lady) were very rude. The lady didnt smile at all, she gave our food then came back and took my friend’s food impolitely because 'she brought the wrong food’. Overall, im not recommending this restaurant to others. I was reading the others’ reviews and basically people experienced the same things.

I haven't experienced such bad service in a long time. Just because you come with children you will be treated with eye rolls. It's a shame and sad, but the last time was good. Thanks for nothing. (We were served by an older man with thinning hair)

The food was not authentic Indian food, it was not the dish I ordered. The staff was nice but the food was not good. The biryani was more like kabuli pulao. It was not worth the price.

Tastefully and carefully prepared Indian dishes served by a friendly waiter :) The taste of Indian dishes is very authentic!

Unfortunately only mass processing. The food is good. But there is neither salat nor bathura. Too bad!
