Good was great and they were enough fast. Portions were okay size but not for the price. Just more expensive then should be. Only downside is prices, rest were good.

Delicious food, friendly service. It was my first time eating Indian food, I'd gladly do it again.

I ordered takeout. Three dishes in total: Shahi Paneer, Malai Kofta, and Butter Chicken. Anyone who goes to an Indian restaurant now and then knows that these are usually quite different dishes. Not so at Masala House. It was the same sauce three times; only the toppings changed. I was looking forward to a delicious meal at home and was instead really annoyed. That was unfortunately my first and last visit. The atmosphere was nice, the service friendly, but I have no idea who works in the kitchen.

We're on a short break in Potsdam and spontaneously stopped by last Friday evening. We were immediately shown to a lovely table. The service was extremely friendly, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back next time! 👍☺️

I had the Paneer Jalfrezi from the lunch menu, and it was fantastic. The taste is on the level that Amrit had ten years ago – and Amrit used to be my favorite Indian in Berlin (until they used less and less spices). Staff was friendly.

My partner and I enjoyed authentic and delicious appetizers and main courses. The food was prepared with care, the service was always friendly, and the food arrived promptly. We finished with Indian tea. A truly wonderful experience.

Poor quality meat and fish, especially breaded meat, was very poor in our case. We also had stomach problems overnight. The meat for the children's dishes was okay, however. The overall impression was also not convincing. The staff is very concerned about speed, even at the expense of service. The food and drinks are simply placed anywhere on the table. You have to sit down yourself. Therefore: We've had much better experiences at other Indian restaurants in Potsdam. It's a shame, because the location is great!

We were a group of 6. I only had a snack, everyone else had a main course and was very satisfied. At the end, there was a mango schnapps for everyone who had a main course. My bill, including two appetizers, was about the same as the others. The ambiance is nice, but quite cramped and quite loud. Still, all in all, good.

Amazing Kadhai paneer!! Great owners and service

We came on Saturday. There were four of us. The restaurant was crowded, and we got a table near the bar. Good food, good atmosphere, and good staff. I'd like to mention a man in a Sikh turban who served food so quickly, cleared tables, and also prepared drinks at the bar. I saw him as a multitasking man, truly remarkable.

We really enjoyed the food and all the staff were very friendly. The prices are reasonable. We will be back.

We were there yesterday and can only say that we thoroughly enjoyed everything. The food was delicious, and we received a very friendly welcome. It was still very busy yesterday, but despite that, the server was very friendly, constantly asking if everything was okay and knowing exactly who had ordered what. We can recommend it and would gladly return. The portion sizes are more than sufficient. Thank you very much.

We came for early dinner around 4.30 pm. The restaurant was not crowded. Food was okay in terms of quality and quantity but nothing super good. But the worst part was the service. The waiter did not give a care about his job. He was unfriendly from the start, never a smile. We had a starter and then main dishes. My plate had some chicken’s bones on it from our starter, flies and wasps were flying on it. Our waiter brought the main dishes and let us eat it on these plates, he did not offer to change them, I mean this is waitressing 101. So all in all it was a bad experience. We won’t go back there. And I hardly left any tip, which happened rarely, but it was really poor quality of service.

The food was generally pretty light. It was filling and tasty, and the soy pieces were cool. A mini bowl of red stuff was very sour, too sour, and could have been spicier for an Indian restaurant. The food was average. Service was quick, and they kept asking if everything was okay. There was no paper in the restroom, but when I said so, the staff came and helped. The staff were very good. The ambience was okay, but okay. It stank, and the restrooms were a bit dirty, but it wasn't that bad. It smelled of delicious Indian aromas, which was very cool. When we paid, they thought it was weird that we paid with a card, but all in all, it was more than worth it. If you want Indian food, the restaurant is definitely solid, but it's not a must-visit.

I waited for a table for five minutes and was ignored by everyone so I just walked away.

This is not my 1 st time I visited Potsdam , I work in Berlin during my service time . I came to this restaurant masala Haus near about 8’ o’clock and I sit inside near the bar . Every staff member was really nice but I would say the bar Boy (turban boy ) was so good and must say good and fast in making cocktails. I ordered 3 cocktails rum mango lassi , mango colada and was full of taste so i ask 3rd time mango colada . Food was really good . The Sikh boy gives full attention not only me but i saw full efforts for a big group come there . All and all was very good .

The food is very delicious and the decorations are appealing as well. The service is also amazing, super friendly and joyful waiters. I will definitely come again. I saw a small commotion where the waiter asked the guests in a friendly way to move to another table because it was reserved. But they got defensive and left. But the waiter handled it very good and stayed polite.

A real insider tip! This was my first time at Masala Haus and I was absolutely thrilled. The atmosphere is super cozy, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. I particularly enjoyed the butter chicken – beautifully creamy with perfectly balanced spices. The freshly baked naan was also a dream! You can tell the love goes into the cooking here. The portions are generous, and the value for money is absolutely amazing. I'll definitely be back – next time I'll try the lamb biryani!

We were there with 12 people. The reservation worked out great. They even called four hours in advance to ask if the group size had changed. We ordered individually from the menu. It was great that the food still arrived at the same time for everyone. The food was delicious, and the staff was attentive and friendly.

I can't judge the food because the two of us were sitting at a table for four in the sun until the waiter came over and rudely ordered us to move to a "cat table" in the shade. I could understand the reason, but the way he reprimanded us in such a rude tone was completely unacceptable. The food may be good, but they should fire the waiter.

We spent a pleasant evening here with attentive service and very tasty Indian dishes. From 8 pm onwards there is a cocktail happy hour.

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant yesterday, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was exceptional — I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Curry, both of which were rich in flavor and perfectly cooked. The place is well located. Food is delicious. But the attendant was a rude, IMHO, and charged us in excess although we noticed later. We came about 3 or 4pm, and the place was pretty empty. The attendant was visibly uncomfortable that two of us asked for tap water. He said that in Germany, beer is cheaper than water. He said he'd only bring one free glass of water per person. Every single request from us showed some discomfort in his expression. When I asked to pay with credit card, same expression in his face. He brought the credit card gadget, I added the tip using the keypad while he was looking, and the transaction didn't go through. Then I tried a different card, but this time he added the same tip that I had previously added. I didn't see the numbers. The transaction went through. He asked me if I wanted to print the receipt. I said yes. Later I saw the receipt where he had added the same tip, but the total price was higher than in the first bill because basically he added the tip twice, once on the total price, and another time as an actual tip. I could not see the numbers and in the stress of a card not working (which did work in other places) I was more worried about paying. I hope this was a honest mistake, but I can say for sure that I'm not coming back.

We've been visiting Masala Haus up to twice a month for years, and the food is almost always perfect. Even the chefs and servers are only human. If there are any mistakes, they're always very accommodating; you just have to speak up. Both the vegetarian and meat dishes have almost never disappointed us. Prices are typical for the area (2 adults and 3 children between €100-€120).

Good food I tried Panner Kadhai it was spicy but German Indain level spicy not indian level spicy but still good.

Absolutely loved the food here! The dal makhni was rich and creamy, and the chana masala was full of flavour with the right balance of spices. The mango lassi was refreshing and perfectly sweet. Great taste of India in Germany-highly recommend!

Unfortunately, I can't say much good about it. Positive: The sodas were tasty. Negative: Cleanliness & Food We've been to many Indian restaurants, but I can't recommend this one. I've never been served such dry chicken. There were six of us girls, and everyone had a different dish, but the sauce was the same for all of them. Even though we almost all preferred a different level of spice. So, it was pretty strange. And what I found particularly bad were the restrooms. When we arrived, three staff members were sitting around looking bored, and from the looks of them, the restrooms hadn't been cleaned in three weeks. The dirt was literally sticking everywhere! Disgusting! We will definitely not go there again.

Wir sind extra nach Potzdam zum Essen gefahren Am 13.04.25 Es war ziemlich mild und wir endschieden uns draußen Platz zu nehmen Als ein übler Geruch aus dem Straßenkulli kahm wechselten wir den Tisch etwas zur Hauswand hin dort war der Geruch nicht mehr so stark Leider hatten wir mit unserem Kellner Pech Er war irgendwie ungeduldig und wir hatten kaum Zeit unsere Auswahl der Getränke und das Essen auszusuchen Es fiel allen auf das er nicht so freundlich war Ziemlich kurz "angebunden" Unsere Getränke wurden einfach auf den Tisch gestellt verteilen durften wir sie selbst Kein Service überhaupt nicht Das Essen war OK nichts besonderes Es fiel auf das die Portionen nicht sehr groß im im Vergleich mit anderen Restaurants waren Ich denke wir werden dort nicht mehr essen gehen
