Five stars are not enough, authentic, delicious Indian cuisine in a modern atmosphere, served by friendly staff. Definitely recommended in combination with a Sanssouci excursion 👍

The food was not authentic Indian food, it was not the dish I ordered. The staff was nice but the food was not good. The biryani was more like kabuli pulao. It was not worth the price.

Tastefully and carefully prepared Indian dishes served by a friendly waiter :) The taste of Indian dishes is very authentic!

Unfortunately only mass processing. The food is good. But there is neither salat nor bathura. Too bad!

The Indian restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. The menu is clear and offers typical dishes such as chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and a selection of vegetarian curries. Particularly noteworthy are the freshly prepared naan bread and the tender chicken. The taste is intense and balanced, and the spiciness can be adjusted as desired. The prices are fair and reasonable for the high quality of the food. I will definitely come back and can recommend the restaurant to anyone who is in Assmannshausen.

Very tasty authentic Indian food

The food was delicious, but unfortunately the dishes that weren't marked as spicy were a bit too spicy. Service was a bit mediocre, we had to distribute our drinks ourselves. The volume in the restaurant was uncomfortably loud and extremely crowded, so reservations are mandatory on a Saturday evening. Priced to match the city center, so a little overpriced, but that was to be expected. Basically the visit there was OK, but next time we'll try something different.

What a rude behaviour that never expected from such kind of restaurant. Waitress should learn behaviour. Middle age guy was very irritated. Food was good. Owner should concern about that..

Toller Service und immer nettes Personal, Reservierung aber auch spontan Besuch haben bisher immer gut geklappt. Wir finden es toll das man die Schärfe variieren kann und die Portionen sind auch völlig ausreichend.

The waitress apparently accidentally kicked a guest's dog, who screamed. Further operation asks the colleague to kick the dog again. Fun or not, we found this reaction absolutely abysmal. The food tasted good.

Best Indian food in all of Potsdam. Legit the only place in Potsdam you’ll get authentic Indian food.

Vibe was great, service was wonderful. But food is closer to tourist trap than actual good food. I don’t know, we’ve only been there once and the host was super sweet to us, so would take this with a grain of salt. But overall, not a great experience, food was a disappointment.

I ate at Masala House for the second time. Unfortunately, the service was again very slow, taciturn and parts of the order were forgotten. The ambience is good, especially when the weather is good it's nice to sit outside. The taste of the food was average, but it gave me terrible food poisoning, which knocked me out completely for two days. I won't eat here anymore.

The food was authentic and good. However, the chicken was a bit dry. The service was okay at first, but then unfortunately it gradually deteriorated. More attention should be paid to friendliness here.

nice food and the stuff was helpful. they offer free rice refills and candy for the kids. It is a bit expensive (most dishes around 13 Euro) but it was tasty and the quantity was enough. The bathrooms were clean and the decor was good too

We came here for their offer of Strudel and coffee. The waiter was super sweet so we tried some food. We tried tge Chicken Juckini (nr 62). Absolutely delicious!! Coffee was great and so was the strudel!! Didn't know what we got ourselves into, this place was amazing!

The place looks nice, but the overall experience was not good. The food was okay, but from a dish with 2 chillies you expect it to taste more than it did. The atmosphere was hectic. Not a smile did you get from the waiter. We ordered red wine, but the waiter was so busy taking our order that we got white wine instead. When we are served the wine, it is poured into the glasses so quickly that it is spilled. The waiter ignores it, doesn't say sorry, but rushes on.

Amazing experience, food was incredible. Butter Chicken was unlike anything I have had in the us before. Bhatura and Tandoori Chicken were equally amazing. Service very good, server interpreted menu and helped us.

This is not an Indian food it is just cooked from someone who doesn’t know about Indian food. Food small and looked like old food they have just warm the food I guess. Staff they didn’t care when I told them the rice is not well cooked.

Felt very comfortable in the restaurant. The staff is super friendly. They packed our left over food and gave us complimentary tea in the end. We ordered samosa, paneer and naan. Good place for singles, couples and large groups. We didn’t have to wait long for our food to arrive.

The waiters were very unfriendly and annoyed. I ordered a Kamasutra, which was on the menu as a strong cocktail. This contained no alcohol or so little that you couldn't taste it. I can't say anything about the food.

I am going to this restaurant since 8 years and I saw what happened yesterday. Some guests were throwing a tantrum and after they left I asked the waiter what happened. Apparently they were indecicive and after ordering they wanted to cancel the order after a long while. The amount of disrespect was insane. There are certain manners for a restaurant.

We were 4 people.... We Ordered dal makhni and chole bhature... The food was really good and served with a lot of love and after food We got the Popsicles also as a compliment... There cook RAGHU has put a lot of effort into preparing the food for us.

Probably one of the best Indian places I visited. Friendly staff, a lot of dishes and most of them are not extremely spicy. Some of the staff does not speak German, but English is fine.

Absolutely great. You get incredibly good food together with very nice staff and a great ambience at Masala Haus. Have been here several times and will come back several more times. If you want good Indian food, you should definitely come here. Absolute recommendation. 😊👍🏼 After several visits I have only noticed one negative point. The food and service are still great, the only thing is that the music is sometimes too loud, so that you almost have to shout at each other at the table. This could happily run evenly at a quieter level. Otherwise, still an absolute recommendation, without question.

Very cozy restaurant with excellent service. If the order was incorrectly recorded, it was corrected immediately and in a friendly manner. The starter (salad and bread with various dips) and the meal were excellent and completely sufficient. The price-performance ratio is top! We felt very comfortable and in good hands.
