May Măn (Asia Fusion) in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Very good food and fair prices. I have eaten here several times both with my family and alone and I am thrilled with the cuisine.

The reservation over the phone went well. However, things looked completely different on site. There was no designated table for us and we were seated at a table right next to the door and bar, even though there were other tables available. This was unpleasant because people were constantly coming in and sometimes the door was left open. The staff were friendly but they were very hectic and seemed very stressed. Unfortunately, the gyoza as a starter was not fresh and was fried. Unfortunately, the main course took a long time to arrive, about 1 hour and 10 minutes. The food was good but nothing more and unfortunately a bit too high for the price.

nice restaurant, friendly staff and delicious food. There could have been a bit more vegan dishes, I think that some vegetarian dishes are also vegan, just not when they were advertised. Everything tasted fantastic, especially the mango curry was a 10/10 for me. Price performance completely okay. I would come again :)

We ordered and picked up from this restaurant for the first time today Very nice and hard-working owners who run a modern and extremely well-maintained house. The food was packaged very well and could be enjoyed hot at home 15 minutes later (except for the sushi :-)). The food was exceptionally good and far above the usual Asian to-go food. We will be ordering again in the coming days. Keep it up

We received a very friendly welcome. The service was very courteous and quick. We were able to change the soup for our sushi menu for an additional charge and had a great evening. The Tom Yam Gung shrimp soup was excellent and plentiful. The mixed sushi platter was served in a wooden boat, very nice to look at. The sushi, maki and nigiri were fresh and very tasty. We had a great evening at a very reasonable price. Here the guest is valued and welcome. We'll definitely be back!

One of the best one I had! My husband had sushi, i had the pho soup and my childre the pad thai. We also had some dumplings. Everything was exceptionally good. Fast, nice service! Pretty good size dishes and very nice price!i would reccomend!!!

A modern furnished restaurant. The service was very quick. The dishes were really very good and we ate one of the best Thai curries I've ever had. Really recommended.

May Man has become my favorite place after my first visit. The staff is extremely accommodating and the food (especially the Pad Thai) is very tasty!

First time eating at May Man, food was great! Service was excellent( fast and friendly) We came back after our first time. So we had different dishes. First we had a Thai curry, this one was super creamy and the perfect amount of spice. We had the Bon Cha, really liked this Vietnamese Springroll salad. We asked the waitress if they served the Vietnamese drip coffee. It wasn't on the menu but she did make it for us. Super kind. For dessert we had mocht,coconut balls and the fried banana. Great food experience here at May Man. Will definitely come back when we visit Beieren again.

Not quite a standard pad Thai flavour profile but it was tasty. Good vegetarian options. They only accept cash, so come prepared.

The food tastes surprisingly good. We had an avocado salad and a soup with rice noodles. Despite it being around 30°C outside, it is pleasant inside. Not too cold and not too warm. The service is friendly and accommodating. The cleanliness in the restaurant is also good. Happy to recommend!

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the warm welcoming service. The food is amazing, the facilities is very pleasant. 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend. This place is worth the visit.

Restaurant and ambience makes a very good impression. The food is also good, unfortunately a bit too overcooked for my taste. Typical Asia, very good vegan selection. Service was very friendly, but seemed a bit uncoordinated. Would have great potential to repeat if we were here longer.

We ordered Pad Thai and udon noodle soup with tofu. The udon noodle soup is recommended. It was delicious. Pad Thai wasn't that tasty. I have often eaten better Pad Thai. The service was nice.

Our experiences are excellent. The menu has an English translation and lots of choices. the toilet is clean. the service is good. the food is nice. the ambiance is okie. we had a fortune cookie at the end of the meal. Overall 8/10. No card payment.

We stopped here after our hike. Our curries were good. The summer rolls could have been a little more filled. Nevertheless we were satisfied. Unfortunately no coriander here either.

Garmish is a go to place when you are in that region. A quick stop for lunch/dinner in this beautiful town is recommended. We visited May Man for dinner and had good vegetarian options. Service was quick too.

Unfortunately, the Vietnamese restaurant is not impressive in terms of cuisine. With the exception of the sushi, the dishes were very disappointing and left something to be desired in terms of quality (strange consistency of the sauces, some vegetables were too hard and a lack of seasoning). The rooms are clean and modern, but not very comfortable. The service is average. We were disturbed by the inappropriate music (hits, 90s pop, etc.) in the background. Vietnamese cuisine can do much more than what is offered at May Man.

Had a spontaneous meal while in transit. Definitely worth a visit for sushi lovers. Almost all dishes are also vegetarian and the selection is very large. We had the sushi platter for 2 people, which was plenty enough.

We spontaneously went to May Măn and were very excited. The service and choice of food were very good. We chose Udon Thai curry coconut with chicken and Pad Thai with shrimp. Both portions were very generous, with lots of chicken and shrimp, and the taste was simply very, very good. I have rarely eaten such good Pad Thai. Value for money and the location in the pedestrian zone are very good.

Food was okay, a bit too expensive for the quality. A lot of starch was used, so the sauce was super thick but actually bland. The service was nice but that doesn't make the food any better.

We had the vegetarian sushi menu in vegan twice and unfortunately there was only avocado and cucumber sushi to choose from. Not very varied. But it still tasted really delicious

Located in a convenient location right near the bus stop and at the city center. We ordered udon noodles and rice with mango curry. As promised the food was spicy and flavorful. They staff were helpful but because of the number of people it was bit slow. They only accept cash though and no card payments are allowed. There are plenty of veggie options in each category. We also ordered veggie dumplings, which were good but a bit expensive for the portion size. Other than that, the main courses portion size were good for one person. If you like food to be spicy, you can request it or ask for chilli sauce. Overall, we really loved this restaurant, food was great and ambiance was vibrant.

Comfortable for a large group. There are good Thai vegetarian options. The food was very delicious. The green, red curry’s were really tasty. Please carry cash as they accept only cash looks like. We also tried the sushi and it was delicious. The ambience was nice.

(First visit on February 29, 2024) Delicious, inexpensive Asian dishes with friendly and attentive service in a cool atmosphere.🙂👍🏻 The dishes are presented as vegetarian/vegan and can then be supplemented as desired, e.g. B. with tofu, chicken, etc. Overall, the restaurant offers a recommendable change from the traditional, hearty local cuisine (no offense, dear GAP😉). 🙋🏼‍♂️🙋🏼‍♀️

Very tasty and good quality food. The ambience is modern, simple and not kitschy, but you still feel very comfortable. The only drawback is the above-average drink prices.

So be careful, we came here for the first time last night and the food was so delicious that we had to come back today. I deducted one point for food because of lots of cake, it wasn't cake and it wasn't that great and the service because you only have to pay in cash.

Super leckeres Essen! Ich komme wieder!

Sehr leckeres Essen. Wir hatten eine Portion Edamame als Vorspeise, diese war sehr üppig, ist also perfekt um zu teilen. Die Sushi Auswahl haben wir uns selbst zusammen gestellt. Es war alles sehr lecker. Leider gibt es hier nur einmal Stäbchen.

Letzter Abend in Garmisch und ich habe mich für dieses Restaurant entschieden... Ich habe es zu keinem Zeitpunkt bereut! Das Essen war mega lecker. Große Portion und den besten Tofu, den ich je hatte: außen knusprig, innen weich... Würde hier immer wieder hinkommen! Essen: Spring Roll mit Avocado und Gebratene Glasnudeln mit Gemüse und Tofu

Essen war lecker, Preis-/Leistung in Bezug auf das Essen gut, Getränkepreise sind einfach nur dreist. Personal kalt, nicht besonders freundlich, Kunde ist König wird eher klein geschrieben. Kann man besuchen, muss man aber nicht.

Tolles Restaurant. Das Essen war schön angerichtet, es hat super geschmeckt, die Auswahl ist groß und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung. Besonders wenn man was vegetarisches/veganes haben möchte, aber keine Lust auf das übliche Essen hat, das man schon oft hatte, ist man hier richtig. Auch Fleischliebhaber werden hier nicht enttäuscht. Alles ist Frisch und lecker.

Sehr leckers Sushi, sehr schön präsentiert. Innen sehr einfach u wenig gemütlich. Nur Barzahlung möglich (steht mit Aufsteller an jedem Tisch)! Außensitzplätze direkt am Marienplatz von Garmisch an der Durchfahrtstraße.

As an Asian food lover, I wasn’t expecting much of an Asian restaurant in the middle of the mountains of Bavaria : May Man prove me wrong !!! I ordered one of the best ramen I ate (competing with the original ones from Japan), it was generous, not too salty, noodles seemed homemade, the broth was full of flavors, it was delicious ! We ordered a Thai curry as well, and it was incredibly delicious too, spicy, warm, the chicken was perfectly cooked. 100% recommend this place

אוכל מעולה , מנות ענקיות ! הזמנו פאד תאי עם עוף שהיה ענק ועם כמות ממש גדולה של עוף אטריות אודון עם בקר שהיו מעולות , אטריות אודון עם חלב קוקוס וקארי אדום שהיה מעולה ! וגם מרק ראמן שהיה ממש טעים וגדול . נהננו מכל המנות , מחירים טובים ,מומלץ

Tolle und schöne Lokalität. Das Essen frisch zubereitet und alle Gerichte sowie das Sushi sehr lecker. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, wobei ein Tip: Erst den Tisch abräumen, wenn alle mit dem Essen fertig sind. Macht man zumindest laut Knigge. Aber das schadet der Sternevergabe nicht.

Super lecker und viel Auswahl. Einfach traumhaft ! Wer asiatisch liebt wird das essen hier lieben !

Sushi ist da zwar teuer aber ein richtiger Genuss und man wird satt. Also ich kann das nur empfehlen 🥰

Sehr freundlich Bedienung, die Stühle sind sehr gemütlich (Fahrrad Fahrer). Die Miso-Suppe ist sehr lecker und würzig, genauso die Rahmen 👍😊 Die Sushi sind frisch und selbst gewickelt - lecker. Alles in Allem - sehr zu empfehlen 😀

In den paar Tagen unseres Aufenthalts in Garmisch-Partenkirchen waren wir hier gleich zwei mal. Das Essen war sehr lecker , besonders Reisbandnudeln Curry. Service war reibungslos und das Personal sehr freundlich. Sehr gute Alternative zu der bayerischen Küche. Gutes Wein und Weißbier sind auch im Angebot.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, wurde zügig zubereitet und sah auch optisch ansprechend aus. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Der Service war sehr freundlich und höflich. Klare Weiterempfehlung! :)

Freundliches Personal. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Mit einer Ausnahme: Das Sushi ist eher durchschnittlich. Darum auch der Stern Abzug.
