We always enjoy coming here. We've had several different dishes, and everything is always delicious. 😋

It's always been one of my favorites—now my husband's too. I recently showed it to him, and we went there for dinner twice within a week. The food is consistently excellent, and in the summer, sitting outside is simply wonderful. The quality, atmosphere, and (usually) the service are all just perfect. Definitely recommended.

Hello, I've been going to this beautiful brewery for about 20 years now. Service is 100% top-notch; it takes less than 10 minutes for your cold drink to reach you, even with 40 people. Everything's fine, and the beer is also okay and tasty. But the food, the restructuring of the menu, is a CATASTROPHE. I was shocked. Personally, I had the Sudpfanne, which used to be the best classic in the place, but today it was my last meal, and the Braumeisterschnitzel was completely bad. For me, this is a reason to only go there for cold drinks, if at all. Sorry, but the new owner should really start thinking about what he's doing!

We've always enjoyed going here, including as a location for family gatherings. Yesterday, there were eight of us adults and two children. It was very disappointing. The prices have risen dramatically since our last visit. €24 for a salad with baked goat's cheese is steep, and our expectations accordingly. Unfortunately disappointing. The modest salad with cold fried potatoes and a fried egg for €17 was also not convincing. The schnitzel was clearly not homemade and looked like frozen food. Some of the fried potatoes were burnt. The sausage salad was buried under a mountain of grated cheese and not at all tasty. The cheese trio for €13 turned out to be three types of cheese dip in tiny glasses with bread and a pretzel. The chicken nuggets for the kids were dry and probably frozen. The meatloaf was also forgettable. We were all somehow disappointed; we hadn't expected that. The great service from the friendly waitress was the only positive thing.

Very nice and nicely situated restaurant, I ate here and it was super tasty, what I had was the Brauergulash, and it was richly filled with Spätzle which goes very well with the dish. For the rest the restaurant also had its own shop where you could buy beer and other things, opposite the restaurant on the other side of the Rhine is the brewery. The service was very friendly and helpful. If you are ever in Lahnstein I would definitely stop by here to take a short lunch break or go out for a nice meal, on the menu are many local dishes and many different beers, which you can also choose as a tasting platter of 3 types from the menu, which is a must do if you are a beer lover.

Woohoo, they're back: my beloved brewing pot and my shandy in a stein😍 That's why it's 5 stars again ☺️ I can really only recommend it here: the food, service, and atmosphere (both in the beer garden and inside)☺️ Our dog got a bowl of water and even a bag of treats❤️ I think he'd give it 5 stars too 😁🙏🏽 That was my review from a month ago, by the way😅 ****** I actually love it here and really enjoy going. Until today, I would have given it 5 stars. Today, however, the first disappointment: shandy is only available up to 0.4L. Why?! Light beer is available up to 1L, and that's why I was still drinking my shandy here 3 weeks ago.... The shandy is hand-mixed here. So offering it in 1L is no problem... Next disappointment: my beloved and always very popular brewing pot is no longer available :( The food, the ambiance, and the service are top-notch, but I missed the Maß Radler and my brewing pot today :( hence two stars deducted... ****** SO THANK YOU FOR CHANGING THAT AGAIN!🙏🏽😁

It's not what it used to be. With the change to the menu, the kitchen seems to have been completely replaced. The quality is no longer comparable to Maximilian's, which I enjoyed for years. The food is poor. Service is good but sometimes overwhelmed. I hope things change for the better.

The turkey steak was tender and delicious, and the hash browns were very tasty. Highly recommended.

The beer was really good, and the service was generally decent. Unfortunately, the portion size was disappointing – I had the turkey steak for €25 and didn't think it was worth the price. The steak was very small, the fries (they ordered them as an alternative to the hash browns) were more like a handful, and the side salad was also a bit small. I would have expected a lot more for the price – it's not enough to fill you up.

A great place with a good atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent beer. We were here with friends from overseas, and they were able to enjoy the best traditional cuisine.

The food is massively overpriced. Dishes that cost €14.90 a few years ago now cost €29.00 (sudpfanne, knuckle of pork). A gratinated goat's cheese in a salad nest costs €25. Although there were free tables at 7 p.m. (and none were occupied), guests were turned away or sent inside. The area below the terrace on the right was empty. No service was provided there. The beer garden was closed. However, the service staff are polite, and the atmosphere is pleasant. As a local, I won't go there anymore.

I went out to eat yesterday, and paying for such a bad schnitzel was a disgrace. It was very dry and tasted like frozen food. The fried potatoes were very burnt, and they didn't look fresh either. I won't be eating there again.

Delicious food, tasty beer, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere. My dogs got water and even treats without me having to ask. Thank you, I'll be back.

Beautiful spot. Great service. Wonderful place to stop on a bike ride and enjoy the large veranda. The historic building and grounds are pretty iconic.

Disappointing Visit – Service Leaves Much to Be Desired I recently visited the Maximus Brauhaus in Lahnstein and was unfortunately quite disappointed. The food was okay – tasted okay, but nothing special. What really made the visit unpleasant, however, was the service: unfriendly, irritable, and unattentive. It felt like I was being inconvenienced rather than welcomed. Given the rather high prices, I would have at least expected friendly and courteous service. It's a shame – given the beautiful location and pleasant ambiance, this place could have been much better. So, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

Hello everyone, make a stop at Brauwiesen. I was there yesterday with a hiking group. Everything was just perfect. Starting with the reservation, the ambiance, the great food, and especially the service.

My Wiener Schnitzel was super thin and bone dry, the fries were missing salt, the side salad was a mushy leaf salad that had probably spent several hours in a giant bowl, and the salad dressing was watery and pretty tasteless. At our table and the two neighboring tables, we had to ask several times because the drinks and ice cream we ordered simply didn't arrive. Two colleagues had a dish with three types of cheese, and a glass of raw vegetables was in a deplorable state.

Delicious food, no long wait, very friendly staff

We were on vacation in the beer garden at Maximilian Brauwiesen in Essen. The beer garden was huge, and we could sit and relax. Our dogs were warmly welcomed and greeted with water and a bag of treats. Despite the many other guests, the service was prompt, and the food arrived quickly and was delicious.

Four of us were here in the beer garden. Great location, highly recommended. Food, service, and location were fantastic.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food, service or ambience as we were apparently not welcome. We wanted to eat something at Maximilians Brauwiesen today at around 3 p.m. As it says on the sign at the entrance, we waited until someone showed us a seat or table. After about 2 minutes a young man from the service looked at us, put the food on a table and disappeared back into the restaurant. After about 5 minutes of being ignored we left the premises and drove to Koblenz for dinner where we were warmly welcomed. Perhaps it was an oversight but a simple "Just a moment please, I'll be right there with you" would have been enough for me it was definitely the last time I was there. Which is why I only gave it one star.

Very attentive waitresses, great service. The food, brewery schnitzel and spaetzle pan, were delicious. All in all, we were very satisfied. That's how it should be.👍👍👍🍺🍺🍺

Unfortunately, yesterday with a large group, we didn't have a good experience, especially with the service and the location. We were sitting with about 50 people in the large hall, which was very lukewarm and very stuffy. Ceiling fans would have been very helpful. We had to wait forever (up to two hours) for food and drinks. The location itself, as well as the quality of the food and drinks, are actually good, but this isn't how you treat guests.

The service was very unfriendly, and there was a very long wait for food and drinks. The portion size was a bit larger, and the price of €40 for a schnitzel with cream cheese and two beers is quite steep.

Let's just say that if the beer had been really cold then it wouldn't have been more than OK.

This is a restaurant overpriced for a cup of goulash soup almost 10€ service should rather be guest but always have friendliness

Dear Maximilian's Brauhaus team, Unfortunately, I recently discovered that the "Sudpfanne" (sudpan) has been removed from the menu, something I've been coming to Maximilian's Brauhaus for decades. But what the hell is that??? The "Sudpfanne" is back on the menu, but... The way it's presented is so carelessly and unappetizing! A complete flop! Disastrous! The meat slabs are completely marbled, and the taste is okay. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it anymore, and why go there now? It's no different from any other ordinary brewery; you can get schnitzel and pork knuckle everywhere... ☹️

Very friendly staff, very good service, but the food, in this case the Braumeister schnitzel, left a lot to be desired! The salad was very good, but the schnitzel came from the deep fryer, as did the fried potatoes... Some of the potatoes were black, very hard, or simply soggy with grease, and then cold! So, not recommended for eating. Nice, very large beer garden.

More than disappointed today Vaterland and I wanted to go out for a good meal with the family. Since we've always been very satisfied with Maximilians, we chose this restaurant. But we were in for a surprise. The menu had been reduced at short notice without notice. There were only about 10 dishes to choose from, and only one vegetarian option. If this had been stated on the website beforehand, we wouldn't have gone. The reason given for the change was the high number of reservations. This didn't seem credible to us, as we've experienced Maximilians at its peak and with a full menu before.

We went there for the first time in a while. We ordered four meals, two of which were children's dishes, both of which came out wrong. After repeatedly speaking to the waiter, who initially tried to ignore us, we finally managed to get him to stop. A children's meal came again, and the second one came after three more requests, when everyone else had already finished eating. The service there has really deteriorated; we're used to something different. The price-performance ratio for the quality is also no longer good.

New owner, same scenario. Despite the beer garden being empty, you have to wait to be assigned a table! Sorry, since the coronavirus pandemic, but that's simply not possible, so many people aren't coming anymore. When it comes to "Maxi" in the region, most locals have the same opinion! Great atmosphere, very attentive, experienced staff, good beer, but then it gets quiet! Instead of "convenience," you should offer a small menu but great food. Profit shouldn't always be the focus; the guest should be delighted, and then things will run smoothly. The new opening hours are suitable again! Now it's up to the owner to impress the guests, because word of mouth was and remains the key to success.

The service was very good, considering how hectic it is there. The food was very good and, above all, hot. But: there was no Coke on the menu. But they assured me that it wouldn't be a problem and that they could do it. Full of anticipation, I ordered this glass. 0.5 l per glass. And now comes the kicker. I ended up with three Cokes and a good meal. The shock came when I paid. 1 Coke = 0.5 l €12.50 Great idea if you unknowingly drink three.🙈

I always liked the sausage salad with fried potatoes; it was always so delicious. I went there for the first time yesterday, and I was horrified. Thick sausage shreds, thick onion remnants, and dried-up grated cheese from a bag. For €17, that's unacceptable. The staff is, as always, friendly and attentive.

A beer garden-style restaurant. Many waiters on site with good service. A large area to linger. Parking is available. This business model is absolutely trendy. You can, for example, buy beer in kegs to take home. It fits the ambiance.

Two of us were there last night, after the change of ownership. It started with no one at the check-in counter, so we had to wait for a waitress to come and show us to our reserved table in the beer garden. When we got there, we were immediately taken to a menu. At least there used to be cushions for the wooden chairs, but not anymore. The waitress in charge first served the guests already seated at the neighboring tables and asked if they wanted to order anything else, instead of handing us menus. When, after what felt like an eternity, the server finally arrived, she asked if we already knew what we were ordering, and we pointed out the lack of menus. At first, she only gave us one menu. We said to ourselves, "Just one menu?!" Only when she heard that did she give us a second menu. The new menu has been shortened to two pages for dishes. The "Sudpfanne" (drum pan) is no longer available, but instead, the "Mälzerteller" (malt plate) and the giant pans for four people or more are available again. The drinks selection has remained almost the same, but the big deal is that large beers are now only 0.4 liters instead of 0.5 or 0.3 liters! Above that, there's only a 1-liter beer. I ordered spare ribs for a whopping €29, and my companion ordered a Braumeisterschnitzel (brass schnitzel) for €23. The drinks came quickly, but the waiter came to the table without greeting and simply called out the drinks so he knew who he was serving them to. No "cheers" or "you're welcome." While waiting for the food, I observed the service staff. They were almost entirely new and looked like young, student-led temporary workers, which clearly reflected their inexperience. I only saw two waiters I recognized from before the change of ownership (I'd been a guest there occasionally since the beginning). When the food finally arrived, I was shocked. The meat didn't smell fresh. When I dissected my spare ribs, I found either just fat or dark meat. Only the coleslaw and the fries were OK. I tried some of the (fried!) Braumeisterschnitzel with my friend, and it smelled and tasted bad. Unfortunately, the new Maximilians has lost its quality, and I won't be eating there again. When the waitress wanted to clear away my greasy leftovers, she asked if she should wrap them up, which I politely declined. I don't think even the dog at the next table would have even tried it. When I paid, she just listed the hefty amount on her tablet, and I didn't get a receipt or a nice evening wish. The only positive things were the Bavarian brass band inside and the side dishes. What surprised me at the end was that the restaurant's own gravel parking lot was still packed, probably with guests who hadn't arrived yet after the change of ownership...

Delicious dark beer. Authentic. Great atmosphere. We had a pan for 4-6 people. I liked the knuckle of pork best.

We went to the beer garden with some friends today. Nice atmosphere and all. But when our little one (2.5 years old) got hungry, we asked at the sausage stand if they had fries we could eat at our seats with our friends. He said we should ask nicely upstairs; it wouldn't be a problem for a child. No luck. Despite asking several times, we were sent away with the advice that we could either eat upstairs or leave. Which, by the way, is what we did, and we won't be coming back. That's how you drive away customers from your immediate neighborhood.

Highly recommended especially for families

The food had lost a lot of its flavor compared to before. We ate at the restaurant on April 8th. A young waiter served us. However, when we paid, he didn't show us the bill and simply told us to pay 70 euros. Since the amount seemed too high, I asked for the bill – it was actually significantly less than the stated amount. The waiter said the difference was a tip. However, tips are a voluntary expression of appreciation from guests for good service and should not be forced. We were very dissatisfied with this.

New owners, new review! Meals taste like they've been kept warm for too long. Not fresh or hot enough. The beer is still really tasty, though. Service is great and fast.

Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the service at this restaurant. The staff was inattentive and distant, and unfortunately, not very friendly. I did not feel welcome as a guest. It's a shame, because the ambiance actually had the potential for a pleasant stay.

We went to the restaurant on Mother's Day – unfortunately, the experience was overall disappointing. The drinks were already stale when they arrived. We had to wait over an hour and a half for our food in a half-empty restaurant, which was especially disappointing on such a special day. The waitress made several mistakes with the order, and drinks sometimes arrived only once. The menu has been revised negatively, and the current prices, in my opinion, are disproportionate to the quality offered. Unfortunately, this was our last visit – I won't be coming back.

Normal food and it was good atmosphere, before they started making rules from air. It is ok to go and drink good beer and eat good food, but not when it is made by bad people. So it was one totally destroyed evening

We chose this restaurant for a business meeting and had already agreed on all the terms and conditions with the management a month in advance. A week before the meeting, we confirmed the reservation and details by phone, as requested by the restaurant. Upon our arrival, however, it turned out that the originally promised room was closed. We were told we weren't allowed to sit there and were offered alternative terms, which we reluctantly agreed to. Unfortunately, the situation worsened over the course of the evening. Although almost all guests had ordered food and drinks, we were ultimately charged an additional amount of over €300 – with the justification that we had "consumed too little." This condition was neither mentioned in the initial arrangement nor in the confirmation. Since I was one of the last guests, I had no choice but to pay the amount. My request to at least receive food or drinks to go was rejected. I find the restaurant's behavior extremely unprofessional: Agreements were unilaterally changed several times, and in the end, we were presented with a fait accompli. It's a shame that this left a negative aftertaste to the whole evening.

We were there on May 1st, and the food itself was good. Unfortunately, one order didn't arrive until everyone else was finished, even though we asked several times. If it had been a knuckle of pork or something similar, it might have been more understandable, but not with a salad. It was full and there were 15 of us, but I don't understand what the waiter said. He said the kitchen doesn't send the food out table by table. I suspect he forgot; with 15 orders (3 salads), I don't think the kitchen sends out 14 and the last one 30 minutes later.

For more than 30 years now, we've always enjoyed Maximilians Brauwiesen (then in Koblenz Moselweiß, most recently in Lahnstein), and it was our first choice for enjoying a convivial, good meal in a rustic and cozy atmosphere. Today (May 11, 2025) we went there with the family for the first time since the change of ownership, and what can I say: I'm still speechless! In a negative sense, though! I'd like to briefly explain why this was most likely our last visit: Service: First of all, I'd like to mention that the guys and girls do a great job and do their best... We checked in at 6:40 p.m., and our order was taken at 6:50 p.m., with the warning that it could take up to an hour today. Drinks arrived relatively quickly. However, we didn't receive our ordered food until 1.5 hours later, and only after asking several times (including directly to the kitchen staff). You just feel sorry for the waiter (who, mind you, wasn't to blame and had really tried hard and apologized several times)! I think he himself was extremely uncomfortable with the whole thing! And no, it's not a new team that needs to get used to each other and learn the processes!! And it wasn't the first time we've had a packed house and great weather in the last 30 years! (Sorry, but no one needs to tell me that in this situation! We've experienced things differently under the same circumstances!) Apart from the owner, including a slimmed-down menu, everything seems to have stayed the same! It should be noted that the NEW OWNER is the Vulkan Brewery in Mendig (about 30 minutes from Lahnstein)! That's not a big deal in principle, but I'm wondering the following: We ordered, among other things, a "Vulkan Bräu - pale, non-alcoholic wheat beer (on tap)"! (From the in-house brewery/production, so to speak!) After our order, the boss! came to the table and noted that unfortunately, this wheat beer was sold out. Could he bring something else? Let's be honest: I brew my own beer about 30 minutes away from the bar, it's Sunday, the weather is fantastic, the place is packed, and despite my experience (and mind you, I have two locations with beer gardens and catering), I still don't have my "beer management" under control AND I'm the boss myself!?! If you ask me: an absolute no-go! Food: The menu has been updated and (let's call it) "redesigned in a slimmed-down way"! Anyone looking for a rump steak or the traditional "Budpfanne" (sud pan) will have to search for a long time! - deleted! Instead, there are currywurst/bratwurst, knuckle of pork, schnitzel, spare ribs (which are nothing special these days), etc., all at a hefty price! If only they offered a hearty roast pork or beef, or something else you can't find on every corner these days. - No, here you can simply tell that everything is cooked to order and "processed"! The side salad alone was a noticeable difference from the previous version: Here, there was lettuce with dressing - that's it! No tomato, cucumber, onion, radish, or anything similar for decoration! (see picture!) Conclusion: In my opinion, this is the beginning of the end – we've certainly seen enough in just one visit "under new management"! What a shame!

The ambiance and service are absolutely top-notch. The prices are simply ridiculous! Selling store-bought party meatballs for €4 as homemade...shame on you.

On Mother's Day we were there with 6 adults and a 2-year-old child with a pre-order. Ordering drinks and food went very quickly. The drinks were brought to the table quickly, but we had to wait 2 hours for the food. After asking, the waiter says we still have a closed company, but we would be next. The staff ran back and forth on the terrace with full plates, asked if we had ordered it, ran to other tables and no one outside had ordered it. The poor guy who got this now cold food put on the table. Staff completely overwhelmed, no plan. Then our food finally arrived, we thought, no, 1 plate and after about 20 minutes, 5 other plates. The 6th plate had to be reordered and the children's plate didn't come at all. Clearing the table while people are still eating at the table is also not possible. Where is another piece of etiquette? Training of staff? Not just mass processing, but also seeing people as guests. If you don't feel like working on Sundays, you shouldn't do this job. The waiter didn't respond to the complaints at all. Very disappointing. The food was warm and delicious. Recommended. We were there in 2024 and were thrilled.

We were here for the first time. The service staff are super nice and quick. The beer tastes very tasty, but the food didn't convince us. Way too bland.

There was already a lot of activity on Mother's Day, but I've never experienced such chaos with orders. It took over an hour for the food to arrive and then there were incorrect side dishes. The currywurst in the ring was broken into three pieces and didn't look very nice. At 17 euros for currywurst fries, you can expect something more visually appealing. The parking situation is also very poor. Our waiter tried very hard but was ultimately a little overwhelmed.

I had a dinner date with two friends at 6 p.m. on Sunday and we even reserved a table. After 2 hours we canceled the meal because the order didn't even reach the kitchen. It was busy and the staff was understaffed, but it was also very chaotic and unstructured. There is one star for the drinks. Too bad! Avoid on Sundays and public holidays.

Unfortunately we had to realize today that Maximilians is no longer what it used to be or what it used to be. Unfortunately. We had to wait almost exactly two hours for our order, and the side salad was forgotten for two dishes. We had to give back a large salad plate because the salad was just soggy and overall the food was unfortunately just average. It is clear to me that price increases are almost a must these days, but the quality and especially the quantity should not suffer. It was also sad that there was absolutely no response from the operator, no drink on the house, no apology for having to wait two hours, simply nothing. We went back extremely disappointed and won't be coming back any time soon.

I would have liked to give the restaurant 0 stars, but unfortunately that is not possible. There were six of us in the restaurant today, ordered food as normal, waited, waited and waited. The food never arrived, when we asked about the food after an hour, we were told that our food would be next. But it never arrived.

Catastrophic!!! We wanted to have a beer and small snacks here on Mother's Day. The drinks came after 20 minutes. , 3/4 filled. You can't manage snacks (only fries!, white sausage) in 60 minutes. to serve. Orders at the neighboring tables were also canceled in droves. We were registered with 54 people and had to wait over 2 hours despite reservations!!! wait for the food. When we asked, we were continually put off. That's no way to make friends.

We were there with a large group and had pre-ordered. The waiters were very friendly and the food was good. Unfortunately we had to wait 2 hours for our food and some food was even forgotten. The team leader became very unfriendly and rude and was not at a loss to make excuses.

We were there today with a reservation at 1.45 p.m. for dinner, very nice reception, we were immediately brought to the table in a very friendly manner and the order was taken in the first 10 minutes. I made a reservation over a week ago and we got a place away in the full sun and waited there for almost 2 hours for our food. At first only 3 meals came out of 4, the 4th person then ate alone. The atmosphere around there was pretty bad because everyone else either got the wrong food or none at all. An absolute chaos.

Ambience and location great. Beautifully located on the Rhine. Eating so-so. Pretzel baked too dark and hard. We expressed criticism during the meal. And then you should assume that this will be responded to in a friendly manner. But no, they stubbornly stuck to their own opinions without responding constructively to the criticism. It's a shame, we expected more. There will most likely not be another visit.

A real insider tip! We visited the small brewery and absolutely loved it! The ambience is cozy, authentic and designed with great attention to detail - exactly what you want from a brewery. We would particularly like to highlight the service: friendly, attentive and with a good dose of humor! You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. Not only was the service quick and competent, but there was also a lot of laughter - that made the evening special. The beer was home-brewed, fresh and really tasty - you can tell that people work here with passion. The food was also excellent: hearty, down-to-earth and very tasty. Conclusion: If you are looking for good beer, delicious food and charming service, this is the right place for you. We'll definitely be back! Our waiter M is particularly worth mentioning 👍

The Maximilian Brauhaus in Landstein is a real insider tip, especially for the cold season. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas, creating a particularly welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Perfect for romantic moments for two, a family evening or simply to eat well and enjoy time. The staff was extremely friendly and we were shown straight to a quiet spot. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and romantic - you immediately feel at home. The menu offers a wide selection of dishes. We chose the Berlin-style beef liver with mashed potatoes and apple rings as well as a meat platter. Both dishes were excellent, both in quality and preparation. The portions were so generous that we had to have some wrapped up. The selection of drinks also impressed us. We had dark beer, Riesling and white wine, which went perfectly with the food and rounded off the evening wonderfully. Another highlight of the restaurant is its location directly on the Rhine. We often come here in the summer to eat outside with a view of the Rhine. It's just wonderful to sit outside, enjoy the summer or take a walk along the Rhine before going to the restaurant. The Maximilian Brauhaus is a beautiful place in both summer and winter that offers a special experience in every season. Overall, our visit was a complete success. The Maximilian Brauhaus is worth recommending not only because of the special dishes such as the Berlin-style beef liver, but also because of the great ambience, location and attentive service. We'd love to come back!

We were there again today and always had the same impression and I'm really sorry that I can't agree with the glowing reviews. The service is great, very friendly, drinks and food came quickly. The food was okay to good, unfortunately it wasn't anymore, we were missing the flavor highlight. The atmosphere is rustic and pleasant, especially outside in summer, it is certainly very nice. Positively, the possibility to reserve online!

First time here. We were warmly welcomed by Majd and checked in. Despite the table limit of 2 hours, we were there for four hours. Great service, delicious food and fantastic beer. The mayo in paper florets was the only annoying thing. All in all, we would love to come back.

Very nice brewery with lots of space and absolutely delicious home-style food. Always friendly staff and fast service, even when there are a lot of visitors. We've never had to wait long for our food. No matter when we come here, we always receive a friendly welcome and the quality of the food is always the same!

The food was great as always, although this was the second time we had to wait a long time to drink and eat. Yesterday we had 35! We waited minutes until we could order a drink, and after 40 minutes we at least had our first beer. The food was at the table after about 70 minutes.

We were at Maximillians with a larger group on Easter Monday. Unfortunately, the brewing pan has been removed from the menu without replacement. Completely incomprehensible to me. As a replacement I decided on the spare ribs. Unfortunately these weren't that good. The others chose schnitzel. These were also not of the usual quality. The negative criticism relates exclusively to the quality of the food. The service was, as always, very good. As regular customers, we will have to look for an alternative with heavy hearts.

Food, ambience and service were all fine. However, the restaurant has changed the menu on holidays or in general so that you don't see any prices. I don't think that's okay in a restaurant, because if I go out to eat with 6 people, I want to be able to estimate what I'll have to pay in the end. Therefore only 2 stars because I see it as a tactic so that the owners fill their pockets
