We stood in line for 20 minutes and then had to pay. We were then told that we had to go back to the back of the line and wait another 20 minutes until it was our turn again to choose the sauces etc. We then asked for our money back. The kebab man got loud and said that this was normal here, so queue once to pay and queue once to order. We were simply standing in the wrong row - but there was no sign anywhere. Too bad.

The current team working there is very bad, you ask them something and they do something, you don’t feel they pay attention to what you ask for. I will avoid next time.

This place offers quite good quality kebab. Not the best of the town but really good! The menu is quite big and they offer a lot of stuff. This results in a very crowded place sometimes, but they can handle it very well and the atmosphere is always good. Together they are a fast team. The staff guys are very chatty and sometimes a little too much cat calling from my point of view. But that is my personal feeling and you have to get your own experience. The interior is simple and basic and does not really invite you to stay long. The fact that this place is located at a crossroads does not support the feeling of a sit in. To summarize: I can recommend this place if you need a good kebab but you should take one to go and enjoy elsewhere if you like it more quietly.

An okay döner, but you expect a little more from a döner in Berlin. Unfortunately, the meat was a bit dry and lacked a bit of flavor. The bread was incredibly delicious. There were also a lot of fresh vegetables, which made it good, but there were a little too many vegetables and a little too little meat. It could also have used a little more dressing. You have to pay extra if you want cheese in it. The price is also a bit expensive than many of the other places

Doner (Dürüm) good in quantity, but meat very dry and slightly burnt. Prices are now in the upper range. The service seems uninterested in the customer, kebab is not brought to the table even though there is a wife and child there. Still good 3 stars

Apart from the food: Here only mass processing is required. Since the recent renovation, prices have increased significantly again. This is probably not in the interest of all customers. Especially since the quality has unfortunately deteriorated. The employees are often very stressed and then become unfriendly. Maybe they think that enough guests will come anyway. In any case, we no longer feel comfortable there and were there for the last time. That's too bad. But we don't want to support something like that either. Think about it.

I liked the handcarved döner, and the variety of sauces. Very nice taste.

Delicious food just like a snack bar should be. Everything is right there. Located on a corner that is very busy - therefore only four stars for the ambience. You can also sit outside.

Complete nonsense, never come here in your life, I very much regretted that in general I came up with the idea to come here, after this döner my wife left the family, the children went and all hanged themselves, you ruined my life!!! 😭😭😭

The meat tastes like papier-mâché, the salad isn't seasoned, the grilled chicken is just sticky! Even worse for me: why do you wear rubber gloves in virus times when you use the same hand to stuff the kebab meat into the box with which you accept cash from customers??? Disgusting, unhygienic!

Doner kebab is love. And if you're in the mood for a good kebab after a tiring night and decide to tip €6.50 despite the bottomless inflation, there should be more in it than an unfriendly "I'll slap a blob of sauce in the middle of the bread and shoot." Put the meat in your bread that has been lying around for 20 minutes." Even though I can understand that sometimes you don't feel like it, a little love is necessary.

Prices have risen sharply like everywhere else in Berlin. Delicious kebab plate!! The shop is even open until late in the evening. You can sit outside. What struck me positively was the huge selection of drinks; there really is something for every taste.

We went to Max&Moritz in the evening. First and foremost we were served very unfriendly. In addition to the lack of service, half the ceiling 2 meters next to the kebab skewer was torn down while the food was being prepared. You could tell how the dust was spreading around the store and ending up in the salad bar. Overall, the kebab was unfortunately not edible.

Tasty and fresh, for €6.50 it could be a little more. Staff was nice. Card payment possible. Covered seating at the side of the road.

I tried a Döner to go, and really liked it! The food is filling, tasty and reasonably priced. The staff is also friendly and speak English. I recommend this :) Edit: the Borek wasn't very great when I bought it. I prefer the Döner a lot more.

We went on a kebab holiday in Berlin at the weekend and feasted our way through what we consider to be the best shops in the city for three days. On Dreidöner day we also found our way to Max and Moritz and had dinner with the two German-sounding hosts late in the evening. Priced at €6.50 in the midfield, the store is centrally located near Charlottenburg train station. In terms of taste, we were surprised by an extremely tasty example, which was freshly cut from the spit and prepared with a lot of warmth despite it being 10 p.m. local time. Definitely a recommendation, my colleagues Max and Moritz run a really recommendable restaurant serving Turkish specialties! One of the top places in the kebab holiday ranking.

Edit: max und Moritz are reporting all negative reviews as fake! Edit 2: they have now made another legal request to remove my review. They are claiming I am not a real person and never ate there. Disgusting food, very racist and rude staff... you might get a good kebab if you're Turkish! If you aren't then they try to put fries in your kebab instead of meat and will try to charge you extra... they use fake reviews and try to intimidate all negative reviewers

Excelente flavor, very well presented dish, very tasty beer, super pleasant and impeccable service. a unique experience with a typical German restaurant and dish. I recommend the experience!

We wanted to experience a real German menu in a proper German restaurant. This did not disappoint. The meals were enormous and the beers good. Nice decor and ambience and moderate prices. We had a great evening.

Such a dirty shop... It's getting to be enough... Order a kebab for €6.50 and get a half-full kebab... I wouldn't care about the price, I earn 10x as much as the whole shop, but if you order a kebab for that price, then I expect a full kebab like 10 years ago and they cost €2.50 and were full! ... I know exactly the prices, whether it's electricity or the products, it's a jokezzzzzz...

For the second time the bread was soft like toast. How can he not notice when preparing it that it is still way too soft. The salad is also cut way too coarsely. There will be no third attempt.

Edit March 5, 2024: Attention! After more than 6 years, the operator contacted Google to have this review deleted because there is apparently no business relationship with me. Who doesn't know ID checks and customer account creation at the kebab shop? I then deducted another star for that. Originally 2 stars because it was the worst tasting kebab I've ever eaten. There was at least one star for the fact that it was open until 5 a.m., but that has now been changed.

Worst kebab I've ever eaten in my entire life. Huge gristly disgusting inedible pieces of meat in the kebab. Really not recommended. The only plus point is that the store is open late.

Unfortunately I didn't like the kebab. Too much sauce and not enough meat with cartilage. Maybe it will taste better next time, otherwise I'll go to another kebab shop, there are a lot of them in Berlin.

Der Laden liegt auf meinem Arbeitsweg - auch auf dem Rückweg vom Pub komme ich hier vorbei. Seit über 10y. Die Döner werden immer dünner - gestern habe ich einen Maxi Döner für 8,5€ gekauft - der war nicht größer als ein Standardöner bei anderen Anbietern. Die Preise an der Wand sind nicht die Preise welche dann aufgerufen werden - Leute das ist unlauterer Wettbewerb - Maxidöner nach eurer Preistafel 7,5€ - kassiert werden 8,5€? Ich finde es gut das man sitzen kann, der Salat ist sehr gut angemacht und die frische Petersilie steht ihm gut - aber das PLV leidet schon ein wenig die letzte Zeit.

Essen hat sehr nachgelassen, war schon mal besser, schade, für gefüllte 3 pommes 🍟 3,50€ etwas sehr teuer

Unsere Rezension wurde einfach verhindert. Gut: wer Döner ohne Dönerfleisch essen will, mit viel Salat kann so viel bezahlen. Unverschämtheit das als Döner zu verkaufen und für so einen Preis!! Nicht hingehen!

Bin wöchentlich da aber der ältere Mann, der immer Samstags morgens arbeitet, hat einfach kein Lust Kunden zu bedienen. Auf sein Gesicht steht „was willst du von mir?“ Solche 0815 Mitarbeiter müssen sofort Weg!

There are multiple "Max & Moritz" restaurants in Berlin, we visited the one in "Hauptstraße 140". Delicious foods, friendly atmosphere. Portions were huge, prices good. We were travelling as family, with kids 4-12, everyone got something they liked.

Normaler Döner nicht schlecht aber auch nicht besonders .. Knoblauchsoße könnte mehr knoblauch vertragen dann schmeckt sie auch wie eine Knoblauch Soße..die scharfe Soße war gut

Lil cozy place with good food for a reasonable price. I mean the food taste great and you've got options from burritos to burgers, versatility is great and they serve. Give it a shot if you're ever around the place.

Pommes haben nicht geschmeckt + Getränke (Kühlschrank) nicht richtig kalt.

Heute einen Maxidöner erworben Fazit: Der Maxidöner schmeckte maximal fad. Gewohnter Dönergeschmack nicht vorhanden, Fleisch und Soße quasi gänzlich aromafrei, Produkt einfach ungewürzt, das geht gar nicht. Einmal dort Kunde gewesen sein reicht damit für's ganze Leben, da kenne ich einfach so viele weit bessere Dönerläden in Berlin.

Max and Moritz is super underrated!!! They make the best doner kebab in Berlin. I visit Berlin every year and my family and I come here, no fail, and have a doner kebab. The food is also so reasonably priced and the staff are not the slightest bit stingy with the content of the kebab. Would recommend to anyone wanted to eat a decent doner in Berlin

Guter döner immbis mit viel Auswahl

Mega unfreundliche Bedienung, Tische waren nicht abgewischt, andere Kunden wurden vorgenommen, absolut nicht weiterzuempfehlen! Ein Stern ist für die bequemen Stühle, das einzig Positive an dem Besuch dort heute… Geschmack nichts besonderes, selbstgemachte Burger zuhause schmecken besser… schade um die 7€…

Ich erinnere mich lieber an die alten Zeiten - schade... Wir haben den Imbiss nach 22 Uhr besucht und es war noch reichlich Fleisch vorhanden. Bestellt haben wir zwei Dürüm, unterschiedlich belegt mit einem Wasser und einem Ayran. Die beiden Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zügig in ihren Abläufen. Früher war es soetwas wie unser Stamm Imbiss und nachdem wir hier schon etwas länger nicht gegessen hatten, freuten wir uns umso mehr auf den 'Abendsnack'. Der Imbiss ist weiterhin gut und sauber geführt und die Salatbeilagen schmeckten schön frisch. Das erste was uns allerdings auffiel, war dass sich die Portionsgröße sowie der Geschmack stark verändert haben. Der Dürüm ist nur noch halb so üppig belegt wie früher und selbst an den Saucen im Dürüm wurde gespart. Früher wurden diese großzügiger verteilt, sodass man ein saftiges Geschmackserlebnis mit allen Beilagen zusammen im Mund hatte, so war das ganze etwas trocken. Abgesehen davon, schmeckten die Saucen für uns auch irgendwie anders - vielleicht wurde etwas an der Rezeptur verändert... Es ist absolut nachvollziehbar dass sich aufgrund der Inflation einiges verändert hat (Miete, Strom, Zutaten etc.) aber aktuell stimmt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für uns hier leider nicht mehr.

Schon vor Jahren besucht und vor kurzem wieder. Nettes Personal. Grill Hähnchen top. Hatte ein Dürüm, der wirklich groß war und sehr gut gewürzt. Nicht überteuert wie oft in Mitte. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Fuimos una noche despues de haber andado una larga jornada en Berlin. Es un local grande, espacioso, con mesas largas y decoración típica alemana. La comida buena y abundante, la carne estofada exquisita. El servicio atento y pronto, sólo un problema y es que la comida estuvo un poco demorada, unao 40 minutos y a esa hora que teníamos mucho apetito nos pareció un mundo, pero valió la pena. El precio correcto para la calidad y la oferta.

Dem Namen nach ja ein Hähnchengrill. Hähnchen war leider total trocken. Wohl seit Tagen warmgehalten. Sehr enttäuscht. Pide und lamachun schauen besser aus. Zumindest wenn man Glück hat und sie direkt aus dem Ofen kommen.

The Burak with eggs tasted so good. The shop has visa option which hard to find here in Berlin. Food is Halal and so delicious and they have many many options. Falafel, Döner and more. They heated the food for me before having it take away. I will be definitely heading back to try some more options. Did I mention they have desserts? Baklava over there looked so juicy 😍 Yeah I’ll back to try them sometime soon. 😉 Ooh and they have a lovely outdoor space that you can dine in 👀

Ich bin wirklich beeindruckt von dem 7€ Cheese-Burger. Ich habe mir am nächsten Tag nur ganze 8 Stunden die Seele aus dem Leib gekotzt. Normalerweise dauern Lebensmittel Vergiftungen länger an. Einen Stern gibt es trotzdem, da die Kerle hinter der Theke den halben Burger selbst entsorgt haben.

Sehr mittelmäßig, Döner ist zu salzig und trocken. Arrogantes Personal. Keine Kartenzahlung und mittlerweile ziemlich teuer.

Liegt zentral und der Döner schmeckt.

Good falafel. Nice seating arrangements. Cons: no chicken doner ( even though they have so many other options) they can atleast ads it. No credit card accepted.

Trockenes Fleisch und alles irgendwie lieblos.

Good behavior, reasonable price, and quite a tasty sandwich. I had a doner there, it was in an average size and good taste and it is fair to say there was a good amount of meat inside that sandwich. I have taken to go, but there are some benches to sit and eat there.

Leckerer Döner. Gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. 6€ für den Döner. Leckeres, saftiges Fleisch. Frischer Salat. Leckere Soßen. Die Mitarbeiter waren auch noch nach 22 Uhr sehr nett und freundlich.

Ich erinnere mich gerne an alte Zeiten (vor 2-3 Jahren), aber leider ist davon nichts mehr übrig, außer der Name. Geschmacklich nicht toll, Fleisch und Sauce wenig, dafür Preis deutlich teurer. Qualität und Preis hat sich gegensätzlich entwickelt. War der letzte Besuch.

Klassiker, leider hat hier die Preissteigerung auch ordentlich zugeschlagen. Döner 6 Euro, Dürüm 7 Euro... Euer Ernst? Man hat den Eindruck, dass die Inflation als Gelegenheit genutzt wurde, die Preise nochmal extra zu erhöhen. Ganz ehrlich? Für 7 Euro kann ich mich schon in ein richtiges Restaurant setzen und bekomme mit Service am Tisch schon ein normales Gericht. 7 Euro für einen Lappen aus Mehl und Wasser mit etwas Salat und Fleischmischung, wo man nicht weiß, was drin ist, finde ich deutlich zu teuer.

Döner ist sehr gut ,die Bedienung ist auch gut im großen ganzen komme ich auf jedenfall wieder .

In jeder Hinsicht…. nicht zu empfehlen….😔
