I'm from Frankfurt and came here on a recommendation. Unfortunately, I have to say: The biggest downside was definitely the staff. As soon as you enter, the receptionist greeted you as if you were above them—snotty, cold, and completely unfriendly. This behavior permeated the entire team: All the employees seemed very unpleasant, aloof, and made you feel like you were more of a burden than a guest. That's a real shame, because the food was exceptionally delicious and the selection was extensive. But such unfriendly, dismissive behavior unfortunately ruins the overall impression—a restaurant visit isn't just about good food, but also about hospitality. Kumpir 6/10 Künefe -1/10 What was that? The künefe wasn't even properly fried, it was really raw! Mint tea 10/10 You can't go wrong with that either (hopefully). Hot cocoa 4/10 Tastes like a pinch of cocoa. Pasta with that kind of tomato sauce 1/10 There was more sauce than pasta, not really good value for money. The cheesecake there (regardless of the sauce) 10/10 Wow, delicious! Fruit plate 1/10 Has absolutely nothing to do with the picture on the menu. The waiters are nice, some more, some less, just as some are more attentive and more concerned with the well-being of the customers. Overall, a good place to go every now and then. Sit with friends, drink tea. Cons: Sink in the women's restroom is broken, or there's so much water flowing that your hands barely get wet. There's usually no soap either. And you can't really work with your laptop there either; the noise is too loud – unpleasantly loud. The smoking area often has its doors open, so it stinks of cigarettes in there. The waiters don't even close the doors. Plus point: The prayer area is great, and the ablution facility is also great! This allows you to linger in the shop longer when prayer times arrive.

I've been going to Café Peri for years, maybe 8 years. At first for the Kumpir and breakfast. Later only for the Kumpir. At some point the breakfast became so expensive and ridiculously small that it was no longer worth it. Before Corona the Kumpir cost 6/7 euros, but a lot of things were still cheap back then. Now it costs 9.90 euros, which is okay because you could have whatever you wanted. I'm sure that's why so many people were there. Now you can only choose 5 toppings and each additional one costs 90 cents. If you choose everything it would be almost 18 euros. Such a shame!!!! My husband had a different meal. Pasta with sauce. Far too small. The portion is big enough for women, but certainly not for most men. It cost about 15 euros. I find this all sad because I probably won't go anymore. It's become too expensive for me. Maybe only if a friend wants to go. Everything that was great for me is no longer there.

We happened to pass by at lunchtime and managed to get a seat even though the restaurant was quite busy. The food was very good and plentiful. I particularly want to mention the dessert: we ordered the lemon mousse: white chocolate on the outside shaped like a lemon, with two types of cream inside. The dessert was incredible!

When I explained my situation, the waiter suddenly got me an umbrella. Because I was really annoyed, I paid and left. At the exit, the receptionist deliberately bumped into me shoulder to shoulder!!!! Because I was there with my children, I didn't want things to escalate and them to get scared. I was very pleased with my visit to this restaurant! I would especially like to mention Ilayda, the receptionist. She gave us a warm welcome, was very attentive, and immediately made us feel welcome. We were here about two weeks ago for my birthday weekend and were particularly looking forward to the famous Cedric Grolet fruit. We were warmly greeted at the reception by the friendly blonde lady with the big eyes, who you also recognize from the promotional video for the fruit. She had warned us and other guests in advance that there were a lot of wasps outside – but we wanted to try it anyway. As soon as we sat down, there were immediately numerous wasps, and we decided to go inside instead. Even though it was very busy, you were still able to reserve a table – thank you so much for your flexibility! A very friendly, slightly older, dark-haired lady continued to serve us inside. Here, too, the service was absolutely top-notch – attentive, warm, and professional. The Cedric Grolet fruit itself was a real highlight: a visual and taste experience. We were thrilled and would love to come back.❤️

I was at Café Peri with my sisters-in-law today, and it was a lovely evening. The food—I had a Kumpir and a San Sebastian cheesecake for dessert—was sooooo delicious. Our waitress, Dilara, was absolutely adorable; I haven't laughed so much in a long time, thank you for that.

We then waited 10 minutes until someone arrived and cleverly snuck past us where a table had just become available because they knew a waiter. I definitely won't be coming back here; it was a very disappointing experience.

Today we went to Café Peri and the three of us ate kumpir. I've been visiting this café regularly for years, but a few months ago I noticed that the quality had changed. The price for a kumpir is €9.90, and you can choose five toppings, after which each additional topping costs 0.90 cents. Previously, you could choose all the toppings for the same price, which was much fairer. We feel this change is excessive, and overall the prices, including for breakfast and other dishes, are now too high. Unfortunately, this will be our last visit, as we are no longer satisfied with the quality.

We were there and wanted dessert. From the service to the cleanliness, everything was absolutely AMAZING!

You have a wide selection, with plenty of desserts and treats. That's definitely a plus. Unfortunately, it ends there: the waitresses don't speak English, making communication really difficult. On top of that, there's a real wasp infestation, which makes the whole experience unpleasant. Not a pleasant experience for me.

I ordered the baked potato menu here two weeks ago and the dessert from the menu didn't come. I forgot about it. I remembered it after I left the place. When I went back two weeks later, I explained the situation. The manager of the place didn't accept this and asked to see the cash register receipt. Thus, he made me look like a liar and a thief. On my last two visits, I had serious trouble finding a table. We weren't allowed to sit because it was a "table for four," as if there was a requirement for four people. Furthermore, one employee said "there's room," while the other said "there's no room." This inconsistency was quite disturbing. The hygiene throughout the restaurant was top-notch and exactly what I expect from a good restaurant. A disastrous experience! We ordered a kumpir and opted for an extra plate. The kumpir arrived already topped with cheese. The waitress apologized and ordered a new one. The second kumpir had cheese on it, which wasn't what was listed on the order slip. The third kumpir was completely oversalted and inedible. Thank you!

My boyfriend went to Café Peri to buy me a fruit cake. When he arrived, he was told they didn't offer takeaway. He was sent to three different employees and then told to sit down to order the cake. He was then asked why he had just walked in and not waited outside. He was subsequently ignored. Unfortunately, the employees were extremely rude and uncooperative. The cakes didn't look as expected either. We cannot recommend the cafe.

I used to love Cafe Peri. I hadn't been there for years, and now I'm back again. Unfortunately, I have to say that Kumpir is one of the only things I eat these days. Everything else wasn't that great. When I saw the price for Kumpir, I was truly shocked. It went from €5.50 a few years ago to €10.50+. On top of that, you only get, I think, four toppings for free now, and you have to pay for the rest. The prices of the other dishes are also so overpriced that it's almost outrageous. A "Cedric Grolet" mango fruit for €12? I don't know. I definitely won't be visiting the shop again for a long time. I think that's terrible. It's a shame.

The menu truly leaves nothing to be desired: from crispy börek to croissants to fresh juices – there's simply everything your breakfast heart desires. We were particularly impressed by the current highlight: fruity, chocolate-covered desserts in the style of Cédric Grolet's viral creations – for example, a mango, artfully glazed on the outside, juicy and aromatically filled on the inside. We tried all the varieties – every single one was delicious! The ambiance is just right, too: beautifully designed both inside and out, with stylish tables and plenty of space – ideal for strollers or wheelchairs. The restrooms are very clean, and there are lovingly prepared rooms for guests who want to pray. A place with heart, taste, and style. A must-visit for us every time – and definitely not the last!
