Lots of good food, but omelette greasy and the various cheese looked different in shape but tasted identical. Excellent and very friendly service

We have been to this restaurant several times and loved it every time! We would particularly like to praise the blonde receptionist - she is always incredibly friendly, attentive and ensures perfect organization at the entrance. Nobody pushes ahead, everything runs smoothly and you immediately feel like you're in good hands. She even offered us a Cay, which further underlines the great service.

We ate there today and were served by Dilara, who was very nice and personable.

The food tasted very tasty, but a few things were forgotten. That should never happen in a restaurant like this. This means that you are not particularly coordinated. Too bad. The food was really excellent too!

I am a guest who has been to Peri several times! This time I was so disappointed that I won't go there again. Ramadan menu what was called “meze” included pickled beans that smelled old and weren’t fresh!! I told the waiter that I was dissatisfied and that he should call someone responsible, but no one came. The bread that was brought was not fresh. I mean, with a menu costing 30€ you should be able to expect something “fresh”… Nice shop but the service & quality is more than bad…

7/10p You can only eat Turkish cuisine here!! Noodles are a disaster, everyone makes them better at home. Haven't tried the burger, but I wouldn't either. The Turkish dishes are quite good and I can definitely recommend them.

Unfriendly staff. Our drinks came from an old, opened bottle (Coke but barely gas), so I asked the waiter to swap my drink. Then he took the glass and showed me with a straw that my Coke did have a little gas!!! And he didn't want to swap the drinks. I had to talk to another colleague and tell her I wasn't going to pay for the drinks. Then she swapped the drinks anyway. My second visit wasn't any better. I was there with a 2-year-old child. The child got loud and cried for about a minute. A waitress stared at us so unfriendly and wanted to show us how she simply and extremely unfriendly covers her ears.

Café Pari was an amazing breakfast experience! We had made a reservation in advance.The breakfast was absolutely fresh, high-quality, and delicious. On top of that, the waitress was incredibly polite and welcoming, which made us feel very comfortable. The service was fast and efficient, adding to the overall pleasant experience. We’ll definitely visit Café Pari again and highly recommend it to others!

Yesterday after work at around 9 p.m. I went to Café Peri to break my fast. To make sure I could still eat there, I called ahead to ask when the kitchen would close. I was told that I can still order Kumpir until 10:30 p.m. and eat there in peace. When I ordered my food at 9 p.m., I waited 45 minutes for my food, which still didn't arrive. When I pointed this out to the waiters, they promised me that I would get it in 10 minutes. But what didn't happen! All the other guests who came after me got their food earlier than me. At 10:45 p.m. my friend finally arrived and 5 minutes later I was urged to eat faster because they would be closing the shop in 10 minutes and I would then get my dessert to take away. When I said that I didn't want the dessert anymore because I couldn't eat it in the store anyway, I was told that I couldn't cancel it anymore and that I should hurry up to eat because the store was closing and they wanted to call it a day. This is an absolute disgrace! I called in advance, then had to wait over 1.5 hours for my food, was literally thrown out and still had to pay for the dessert that I couldn't eat!

Saturday breakfast - highly recommended! Very courteous service, good food and delicious wine coffee. We'd love to come back.

We were there a few days ago and were warmly welcomed by the lovely receptionist Elmira, which immediately made our visit pleasant. The food was simply outstanding – every bite was a pleasure! The service was also excellent and very attentive. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back!

I actually like going to Café Peri, especially because of the delicious Kumpirs. I wanted to break my fast there and called to make a reservation for Iftar. Unfortunately, I was told on the phone that you can only order complete menus - not just kumpir and drink, but soup, dessert and everything surrounding it. I honestly think it's a shame and unnecessary, especially in Ramadan, when you should eat consciously and don't want to waste anything. That's why I didn't go.

Perhaps the food I got was a miss. Drenched in oil, could barely eat some cause was hungry. Fresh salad and bread saved the situation slightly to offset the grease. Should’ve tried something else. Dish looked pleasant at least. Staff super friendly though. Would totally give it another try with different dish.

I haven't been there yet, but I'm wondering why you have a telephone when you don't use it and only answer your voicemail after it rings five times! You want to do the store a favor and not order via uber to save them the fees and no one answers...

The portions were halved and menemen tasted disgusting. The price is not appropriate for the quality of the food.

I made a reservation for Iftar on the phone and was informed of an Iftar menu but was not made aware that you can only order. When we were there I asked the waitress and the reason given was "sorry, it should actually be explained over the phone." I was there with two people accompanying me and they then had to order something from the Iftar menu... they were then served water and I was ignored when I asked why it was justified with this reason: "You haven't ordered your Iftar menu yet therefore I cannot serve you water” which is a reasonable statement. You all know that we are in the suburbs to break the fast… terrible. When I ordered my burger I explained to the waitress that I wanted to have this plan. She was overwhelmed and explained to me that the kitchen wouldn't understand this. After that was over and we got our food we wanted to get out as quickly as possible. We always enjoyed being there, but this was our last visit!

My brothers and nephews and 7 of us went to Cafe Peri for iftar while we were all fasting. The guy at the SERVICE PERSONAL was quite rude. We only wanted to eat baked potatoes, they forced us to the iftar menu they prepared and told us that we could not buy anything else. They forced us to say that there is baked potatoes, but you will buy it with the Menu. We didn't have time just before iftar, so we didn't have time for an alternative, so they made us miss iftar. I've been to Cafe Periye with many people so far, and many people went with my recommendation. I will never go again with my family or friends, nor would I recommend it. Will this happen in the month of Ramadan, too bad....

If you appreciate the value of your money, you should carefully consider where you eat out. The prices in this restaurant are extremely high - a breakfast for four people costs over 80 euros, which I find unreasonable. Considering the quality and offering, this is simply not fair. In addition, during Ramadan, guests are pressured to order a special Ramadan menu, even though many of us do not want such a menu. It strikes me as an unfair business tactic designed to force customers to place an order they don't want. Additionally, I would like to note that the rooms are not optimally designed. There is no adequate ventilation and the space is very narrow, making the overall experience uncomfortable. Considering all these factors, I get the impression that the focus here is primarily on maximizing profits rather than providing guests with a fair and pleasant experience. I hope this feedback helps improve the situation.

We went to eat with my friends and we liked it very much, both the food, the service and the place were very nice. We would also like to thank our waitress Ayşe, who took care of us patiently and with a smile. We recommend.

Unfortunately our visit to Kaffee Peri was a big disappointment. We were looking forward to a nice iftar together, but the experience was anything but pleasant. Our children wanted to eat Kumpir, but we were told that you can only order complete menus. Even though the menus contained things that they didn't want to eat, we still ordered three menus - we simply didn't need more. But then an employee came to us who behaved extremely rudely. Apparently it was a problem that we didn't order five, but only three menu items. His manner was disrespectful and spoiled the whole iftar for us. Who wants to waste so much food? Why are guests forced to order more than they can eat? This is incomprehensible to us. In the end, a lot of things remained untouched and we couldn't enjoy our food. An evening that was supposed to be nice was ruined by this interaction. Definitely not recommended!

I am writing this review to offer constructive criticism. This post is neither hateful nor offensive. We made a reservation for eight people to break the fast together. Unfortunately, we were not familiar with the new Ramadan menu concept and came expecting to be able to order from the regular menu. The person who took the reservation over the phone said there was a Ramadan menu, but did not say that the regular menu was not available. This situation was due to a communication error and resulted in a misunderstanding. When we wanted to place our orders, the waitress told us accordingly and we decided to only order three menus and two children's menus because we would not have been able to eat a larger quantity and wanted to avoid food waste. The manager/shift supervisor then came and lectured us again. He did this in a rude manner because our visit would apparently have caused financial damage to the restaurant. There were several children present who reacted intimidated and this was also very unpleasant for the rest of the group. We all felt uncomfortable for the rest of our visit, which is a shame because it was all based on a misunderstanding, to which the team didn't react very warmly. We apologized several times and said we didn't understand the new concept, but no one took our notice. The manager also informed two waitresses, who then gave us unpleasant looks. We were all regulars at Café Peri and love the quality of the food, but this was our last visit there.

Clean, nice atmosphere, lots of food varieties from brunch to dinner, lots of desserts, beautiful prayer room and have a place for wudhu, the girls toilet is like the harry potter chamber of secrets girl's toilet, so cool

It's a very wrong choice for iftar, I'm sorry to say! The starter was a soup like water, you forgot the taste, it was oilless, tasteless, the other dishes were cooked in the same way so much that it turned into mush. I see the name IFTAR MENU as the biggest disrespect that can be done to a fasting person! It should definitely not be preferred by those looking for quality and taste! A place that has exorbitant prices and does not know the importance of customer satisfaction.....

Due to lack of personal (which was mentioned every time when the server needed 10 minutes to come to our table after asking for her) we were not served well. The vegetarian dish I had, was floating in oil. And also here (as so often in restaurants is the case): the misapprehension that all cheese is vegetarian, which obviously is not true), is a sad given. The service was not friendly, more like irritated to come to our table. Atmosphere was not good, it was very crowded, chaotic, no background music. We had to ask for napkins several times. I would not recommend this place.

The food is delicious here and the portions are generally enough for one person. The only place in Berlin where I found a delicious Dubai chocolate style dessert that is not tasteless.! And the best kumpir here.. But the prices are a bit high and sometimes you have to wait for a table for half an hour outside.

We were at Peri for the first time and were thrilled. The restaurant immediately transports you to the Middle East. Wonderful exotic smells, a great counter to examine and choose from, or the great illustrated menu. Definitely wear earplugs and go. It's like a women's matinee. The service and encounter were unpleasant and rude. Menus were thrown at our table. I won't stop by again until the capacity is increased. Eliminations should be made in the segment it appeals to. Thanks to the lady who makes baked potatoes, kumpir was great.

We love Café Peri! Unfortunately, there is a waitress (I think it was Ayse) who acts so terribly that you are afraid to ask anything. She's rude, doesn't look you in the eye, when you want to order she just throws the Kumpir lists down there. If you want to pay and then give a tip, there's no thanks. Our table next to us also laughed with us about how she treats the customers here. A little more training for them and it would be a completely perfect experience - or you can also try to avoid their tables 😅

Friendly, comfortable, and delicious

Came here with a Turkish friend to try the best kumpir in Beriln (according to her). I've never tried it before, but genuinely loved everything about it! You just pay a set amount and pick any topping you like, and they have a combo menu with kumpir + dessert + drink as well. Besides kumpir there's plenty of other lunch options available and they do take card, but no reservations. As we went on a Saturday evening had to queue for a little bit but it was more than worth, definitely will be back!

Unfortunately we had a disappointing experience in your cafe today. Although several tables were free, we were refused a seat by a very young receptionist because two people are not allowed to sit at a table of four. This attitude seems less customer-oriented and inefficient. It is incomprehensible to give higher priority to potential guests who may not show up at all instead of giving two people the free space. The strict seating policy not only seems not very customer-friendly, but also incomprehensible when tables remain unoccupied anyway. In addition, the food (for example the Kumpir) is not of a standard that would justify additional waiting time. The offer to either wait or leave was therefore not difficult for us.

Yesterday I was at Café Peri around 6:30 p.m. We waited 30 minutes for our table. When we asked the receptionist if it was our turn yet, she told us that the next table had been reserved for us. However, after another 10 minutes of waiting, we discovered that she had given our table to other guests who came after us. The lady at reception was unknown to me and seemed inexperienced and unprofessional. When we asked her about it, she simply dismissed our concerns. We then turned to the person in charge of the café, who also seemed to be new. Unfortunately, he seemed uninterested in our concerns and ignored us. I have been a guest at the café for over 10 years and have never been treated so disparagingly. Although I have often had to wait longer for food in the past because I was always warmly welcomed, I will no longer visit Café Peri after this experience.

We discovered the beautiful, cozy café/restaurant by chance. The ambience is a dream, you feel very comfortable. My girls and I had a wonderful and very tasty breakfast. If we were to be in Berlin again, we would love to come back here. We really hope that a restaurant will open in Dresden soon.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my breakfast at Café Peri. My omelette (menemen) came without eggs, which I didn't expect for the price. The cheese plate also seemed carelessly arranged, as if it were leftovers. Overall the experience was not worth the price.

Just under €20 per person for breakfast. But price/performance is not right. Cheap baked rolls. Menemen with way too many tomatoes and too salty. Service leaves a lot to be desired. You are not greeted in a friendly manner by the employee. When you ask questions, people sometimes look at you strangely. It's a shame, I'm not used to that from Turkish restaurants/shops.

Hello, I was at your store a few days ago in the morning. In itself it is a very nice, convenient shop and super tasty😍😍 The colleague at the front of the door with blonde hair should be able to lower her gaze when couples enter the store. I will NEVER go there again with my husband.

I was there yesterday at 8 p.m. with a friend and wanted to spend a relaxing evening with her and eat something. We come here often. Yesterday we waited outside the door for 45 minutes at -2 degrees, that's neither fun nor a joke. My husband laughed at me on the phone because we waited even 5 minutes. I've never waited more than 5 minutes at the door for a seat. But 45 minutes in this cold, then after 45 minutes we were told (yes you can also wait inside now) I burst! What kind of system is that? What kind of supposed professionalism is this from you? I've never experienced anything like that, not even in a discotheque!! That's not normal really. I also argued with the lady at the door afterwards because that's not normal, I mean on her note it says that the smoking area is ACTUALLY occupied until 9:10 p.m., then tell us that the smoking area is occupied until then and then. NO, nothing at all! She made us wait for almost an hour beforehand, and the fact that I waited that long was really amazing. So I'm really angry and extremely disappointed because I often eat at your place, so you lost two customers.

Disgraceful service - Absolutely not recommended Our experience at Café Peri was simply disappointing. Even though we had given an hour's notice of arrival, we had to wait 40 minutes without a space being provided. The blonde receptionist initially claimed that the smoking lounge was full, then made us wait because we wanted to sit there - only to walk past us several times and condescendingly tell us that we should "count ourselves lucky" to be allowed to stand indoors at all. Such behavior is disrespectful and unprofessional. Instead of polite hospitality, we were held back and treated arrogantly. This is how you lose guests. We definitely won't come back and advise everyone not to visit!

Due to busyness, you have to wait for the waiter to look at your table. The food is average, not perfect, price-performance restaurant.

Kumpiri is really great. The prayer room and sinks downstairs are spotlessly clean. The only unpleasant thing is being kept waiting at the door if you don't have enough people.

We were visiting Berlin for a week, and we loved Café Peri very much. We ate there more than once because we enjoyed the homemade dishes, and we felt the love put into it. The food is very delicious and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend it.

I haven't eaten there for a long time. Back then it was still very tasty, especially the Kumpir, but unfortunately I can't say that anymore. I placed an order on Uber Eats and that's when the whole thing started. The service was so bad that I had been trying to call the cafe for an hour. I ordered for pickup and wanted to cancel because the café was far too far away, but that wasn't possible. I then spoke to the boss about it on site. He was horrified and apologized to me personally and briefly told his employee that she should answer the phone in the future. Unfortunately for me it was a big disappointment because I expected a little more. I don't know about you, but I don't eat there anymore because service really means a lot to me.

Good Turkish cuisine, reserve in advance

We regularly visit the Peri Café in Berlin with our children because we really like the atmosphere and the food. Unfortunately, there is an employee named Elmira who greets us every time with an unfriendly and arrogant attitude. Today in particular her behavior was completely unacceptable - she almost sent us out and questions were answered in a dismissive tone. That's a real shame because we actually really enjoy coming here, but you lose the joy of the visit.

Although there may be long lines at the door on weekends, a seat can be found easily on weekdays. Overall, it felt like they prioritized turnover over customer satisfaction. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Breakfast is not highly recommended, it lacks spices and taste. Sucuk Toast (10€!) is a failure, unfortunately the slices are too thin, that's not possible, it's a false economy. The service and reception were very nice. But it is cleared away very quickly and there is pressure to clear it away, which then seems as if they want to get rid of us. Maybe it's also the intention to take on the next customers. Overall, you don't have to go there for breakfast.

How can it be that the two of you are not allowed to sit at a free table because “maybe more people will come” who will bring more money? We were there and were supposed to wait for a free table that was for 2 people instead of being allowed to sit at a free (larger) table. We also offered to move as soon as a smaller table became available, but that was forbidden to us. Although we did exactly that last time. How can you be so customer-unfriendly? I've been here so many times, now I'm not going there anymore. I'm speechless how you can be treated like that.

Fast and attentive service and very tasty food

Very nicely decorated restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and the order was taken quickly. The breakfast we ordered came to the table very quickly. It was super tasty and filling. Delicious mocha, delicious tea. Clear recommendation. There is also a smoking area for those who need it.

I don't know if it's just part of the store, but in all of Berlin the store with the most unfriendly and disrespectful employees is so blatant that my ego jumped straight up and never came back. The food isn't bad or anything, but the employees are honestly a complete disaster, although the women are worse.

The food wasn't bad, but not good either. There was a lack of spice and some flavor too. And it was way too expensive for that. 70 euros for breakfast for three is a bit steep. All in all average. But I don't have to have breakfast there again.

We had a hamburger and a breakfast menu. All breakfast menus have unlimited tea for 2 hours which is great for tea lovers. The potato fries were really good, we loved it. All components of both menus were high quality and fresh. The interior is cozy and the smoking seats are separated by windowed doors which is really thoughtful. Overall, I really liked to eat and relax here! Will come again 😊
