Over 7 years of visiting Berlin regularly, I have never had such a delicious Doner like here at Bistro Istanbul!.. Amazing taste, huge quantity and excellent value for money (6 Euros for regular doner and 7 for huge double one!). Many thanks to Mr. Ismail for being so customer-centered. You must try it!

You honestly don't need to do it again

A good, solid standard kebab. I got my fill for a fair 6 euros. Salad was fresh, meat was also good and sauces were delicious. (yes, there are much better ones) but around here it is a good place to eat a sturdy kebab. The owner tried very hard to prepare us a good kebab and there was tea on the house. I'll definitely come back because I work nearby.

Food is great, always a lively place with very friendly people around rhe place. They don't allow credit card like most places in East Berlin.

A good kebab shop isn't my taste, but you can go there for a cheap kebab. I wouldn't go there again, at least not every week because I didn't like it that much. I'll stick with my regular kebab shop, even if it's a little more expensive.

It was ok. The meat was ok and fries were good. I was very critical of the sauces because a layer had formed on the sauces. (Possibly from several days) Overall a 4/5 because I didn't get any gastrointestinal illnesses.

The durum was just a tortilla from the edeka on the otherside of the street, and the meat tasted weird

So here at the Ostbahnhof, on a Thursday, because real chicken meat is the hottest food around here!! The other 6 days of the week the snack bar only sells rubbish!!

The kebab plate I ordered was delicious but the size of the Dürüm was a disappointment. I had ordered it with meat and what did he put in it, only salad even though I said with meat 🙄🙄🙄

I'm not from here but the kebab was really dry, the meat comes from World War II or something. I can't understand how people rate it so well.

This kebab was an absolute disappointment. The meat was tough and tasteless, the vegetables not fresh. The sauce was thin and tasteless. The appearance alone was off-putting. For the price I expect significantly better quality. I will never buy a kebab here again!

I almost couldn't squeeze out this dry kebab while sitting on the toilet. In Welzheim, my hometown, it definitely tastes much better!!!! It's better to invest in your own kebab skewer than to go there.

the meat was at least 2 days old and cold!

It was bad. I had a currywurst menu there today. The currywurst were fried in the same old oil as the fries. Tasted terrible. The cola that came with it was pale and didn't have an expiry date printed on it. Once and never again.

In der Gegend der beste Döner. Schmeckt in letzter Zeit noch besser. Chef ist immer gut gelaunt und geht auf Sonderwünsche ein.

Ein sehr netter Dönermann der all dein wünsche erfüllt und eine gute Auswahl von Salate und sehr leckeres Fleisch. Ich finde es gut das es am Donnerstag auch mal chicken gibt. Es gibt die klassische Soßen die sehr lecker waren. Der Laden war sauber und gut eingerichtete. Zudem eine gute Auswahlvon Getränken. Empfehlung

Solider Berliner Döner! Der Service war sehr freundlich.

Döner hätte für meinen Geschmack mehr Soße haben können - war ein bisschen trocken und der Salat zu sauer. Ansonsten okay und auch ausreichend groß.

Ich habe einen Dönerteller gegessen und fand das Fleisch leider wirklich eklig. Das habe ich in der Form glaube ich noch nirgends erlebt. Salat, Pommes und Soße waren in Ordnung, das Fleisch aber wirklich schlecht.

Shisha schmeckt wunderbar, genauso wie die Getränke auch dass Essen schmeckt wunderbar und wird ästhetisch angerichtet.

In der Mittagspause kurz da gewesen. Super netter lustiger Verkäufer :) Portion der dönerbox ist ordentlich und preislich voll in Ordnung:) Fleisch war saftig und die pommes knusprig :)

Schlecht, schlechter, am schlechtesten dieser Laden. Ich frage den dönerverkäufer ob das fleisch HELAL ist und seine Antwort ist "ja ja klar ist es HELAL". Im Dönerladen gab es mehr Alkoholische Getränke als Döner. Im Laden saßen nur komplett versaufte Menschen und im "Helal Dönerladen gab es auch 3 Drei Casino Spiel Automaten als würde es nicht reichen 😂. Das Essen ist auch ein anderes Thema. Billig aber wiederlig. Nicht Hingehen!!!!

Lügner, der Laden schließt immer und öffnet nicht 24 Stunden.

Döner war gut, die Salate frisch. 3 Sossen zur Auswahl. Leider gab es kein Schawarma. Viel Fleisch, wurde eher als satt. Preis-Leistung ist in Ordnung. Würde ich nochmal hingehen!

Above average pressfleisch döner I’d say: homemade sauce and fresh condiments. A refreshing amount of salad but overly sweet sauces. Durum tasted a bit like an Edeka tortilla wrap that was a few days over. Meat was dry, but had a decent level of flavour. The more I think about it, the more I enjoyed it.

Hauptsächlich trockenes und billiges Dönerfleisch. Soßen schmecken nicht hausgemacht. Genau so, wie das trockene Fertigfladenbrot und das alte Gemüse. Fazit: es gibt deutlich bessere Dönerläden in Berlin für den selben Preis

I think best place to eat Döner/Dürüm Kebabs & other Turkish culinary for students living in & near to Franz Mehring Platz Dormitory. I think its a cool place to have a try for "Turkish food lovers" in Friedrichshain. Furthermore the guy inside is really very humble & I love his hospitality. Kind Regards

Located outside Berlin Ostbahnof. Less cost and decent taste. Very typical Turkish place to grab a bite. There is also seating arrangement.

In meinen Augen eine Dönerbude wie jede andere. Das Essen ist ok für einen durchschnittlichen Preis.

Went here two years ago (or so) on a school trip to Germany. Some of the best food I had during my time in Berlin. The "Big Döner Kebap" was incredible, the service was nice, and the prices were decent. Will probably return if I come back to Berlin.

The drunks inside were rude to customers and the food isn't worth it.

Da ich selbst Vegetarier bin, kann ich das Dönerfleisch nicht beurteilen. Meine Kollegen finden es aber in Ordnung. Manchmal wird der Spieß etwas zu schnell runtergeschnitten, das Fleisch könnte also wohl etwas dunkler bzw. durchgebratener sein. Mit den Halloumi Variationen bin ich zufrieden. Leider zur Mittagszeit (nach 12 Uhr) immer sehr voll. Da nur eine Person bedient, muss man dadurch manchmal recht lange warten. Der Preis stimmt auf jeden Fall und für wiederkehrende Gäste gibt es sogar eine Sammelkarte.
