An absolute highlight in Stuttgart South! The Mauritius restaurant completely convinced me. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting - perfect for escaping everyday life and treating yourself to a bit of holiday feeling. The staff was super friendly, attentive and always available without being intrusive. The food? Simply fantastic! The menu offers a great selection of delicious dishes, especially the pizzas, steak and bowls, which were a real highlight. Everything was freshly prepared and lovingly prepared. The cocktails are also highly recommended – perfectly mixed and served with creative details. It's definitely value for money here and the portions are generous. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone who loves good food and a relaxed atmosphere!

We wanted a cocktail without ice cubes but the nice lady refused us that this would not be possible on the grounds that it was specified by her superiors. Disaster. Where is something like that?

The ambience is very nice.. the service is very good and the employees are very friendly.. the food didn't bother me for the price.. was there on New Year's Eve, Sorry, I was just disappointed, but as is often the case, that's my opinion and I'm very particular about food.. Price and performance..

Went there for brunch, the selection was great and the service was nice, but many of the pastries were very dry and the price was too high overall. Drinks are not included in the brunch price (at least one hot drink should be included in the price)…. The food was delicious but we won't come back because €80 for two people is just too much for us.

Of course the store is beautifully decorated. But that was it. Cocktails are terribly bad, it's a shame :( Mixing cocktails is really not difficult

Cool atmosphere, old shed beautifully done, great service, prices still ok. However, if you consider the size of a turkey steak for €16.90, that's no longer ok. I don't think the treasure weighed more than 100g. But parking spaces directly at the house are very valuable. Update: 1 year later I'm annoyed by the loud music, way too warm, my heart races. There is nothing Swabian about the Swabian schnitzel. Meat wafer-thin, but tasted ok, cream sauce from the Päckle with absolutely no taste, cheese pätzle with ready-made sauce and cheese? Unfortunately without any particular taste. It's a shame, otherwise great location and nice team

Just left the restaurant full of disappointment. I ordered a schnitzel and I didn't even eat a quarter of it and I immediately discovered a dark, short hair. I spoke to the waitress in a friendly manner and asked them to take the plate back. It can happen to anyone. I didn't get a replacement, let alone be offered anything. The plate was simply taken away and in the end I even paid for it in FULL. As if that wasn't enough, our order was forgotten or "lost" in an empty restaurant. If it had been well attended, I would have been able to understand this excuse. Conclusion: Avoid Mauritius South in the future. Unfortunately very unprofessional & not at all accommodating towards customers.

Top location in Stuttgart with very friendly and attentive employees. The special atmosphere makes you feel like you are on vacation. The food and drinks taste very good :) we will definitely come again :) Free parking spaces are available directly at the restaurant

Disappointing service and lack of communication I'm generally more than satisfied with the location and the food here - both are really great. Unfortunately, I have to rate the service this time, and it was anything but satisfactory in our last experience. Last year we had a small room here for a baby shower, at no additional cost. The location, the food, the drinks and the atmosphere were fantastic – it was an all-round successful day. This year we wanted to do the same thing again, so we called to make a reservation. We were informed that this was no longer possible by telephone and that we now had to inquire by email. We did that, but initially there was no response at all to several emails. After a long time, someone finally wrote to us saying that it wasn't possible and that the small room would now cost 1,500 euros to rent - a significant difference compared to last year. To clarify any misunderstandings, we wanted to speak by phone, but that was a disaster: the person in charge let the phone ring once and immediately hung up. Calls back from us were consistently ignored and instead we received a rude email saying they were unavailable. This treatment was simply terrible. It completely took away the joy of planning. Ultimately we decided to go to another Mauritius where we could have the baby shower at no additional cost. Conclusion: I will never plan anything like this again. The location and the food may be great, but the service in this case was absolutely disappointing.

Dear Mauritius team, I had food delivered to me. No offense, but unfortunately the food is simply inedible. The Käsespätzle are spaetzle with cream sauce, unfortunately there is no taste of cheese. The accompanying salad is lukewarm because it was packed in a box with the spaetzle, completely collapsed, some brown lettuce leaves and soaked in salad dressing. The portion size is similar to that of a children's meal. According to the app, the preparation took over an hour or the food must have been sitting around for far too long before delivery. In this case, the price-performance ratio is really poor. I'm always happy to pay more for food, but then I'd also like to have something in return. That was 17 EUR per ton.

We had a separate room there for a birthday party and were more than satisfied. The ambience of the entire property is very appealing and reflects the idea of ​​the island state. We actually wanted to have lunch there at 12pm yesterday but it's only available from 1pm But we had brunch so we decided on brunch, which we really enjoyed and enjoyed. Since my husband has some walking difficulties, the staff helped him so that I could also serve myself at the buffet in peace and quiet. I can only recommend Mauritius

Great staff and service (english speaking, too). Kid friendly. Excellent cocktails and moctails at very reasonable prices. Food better than average at comparable prices for the area. Detailed, esthetically pleasing atmosphere. Just beautiful. Parking/Ubahn accessible. Looks like there is space and ability to host large events. We’ll definitely be back and recommend.

Visited a great location to rate today. I really liked the ambience, the taste of the food was also very good, in short, a place that invites you to linger. What wasn't nice was the long wait for the food, even though the shop was pretty empty, there was no cutlery at the table, this was only brought upon request. Furthermore, there was a sticky spot on the floor under the table that unpleasantly interfered with your shoes while you were eating. Otherwise, the local ambience is recommended.

In my opinion the most beautiful Mauritius in the greater Stuttgart area. It's really quiet in the garden and you can relax and eat well.

The crash! 👎🏼 Mauritus, that was always easy and relaxed. It was tasty, without any major pretensions, and people had fun - simply and casually - in a youthful atmosphere. Not so long ago the price was correspondingly: comparatively cheap. Everything fit. But in the wake of inflation talk and this whole trend recently, a few managers here also thought they could add something and take off cleverly. Result: the burger on their menu is now comparatively expensive, but with its sloppy bun it looks like a cheeseburger from Mäkki, which is available for a sixth of the price. And so it runs through the entire menu: the price screw has been over-inflated and the quality has been skimped on. This means that the fuel of yesteryear is history. As beautiful as the location was designed and the waitresses do a good job. But that's the wrong way. Too bad!

Breakfast buffet doesn't even have tomatoes or cucumber salad. 5 types of salami, all pork, no alternative. Not enough warm dishes for brunch, just chicken leg and vegetable balls and fries. Upside potential still open.

We were there for the Sunday brunch. Staff was very friendly, sweet and helpful. Food selection was too small for a brunch and quality was lacking. Oddly you're supposed to reuse your plates at the buffet as there are no new ones provided. Coffee is not included and overall the price is not justified.

The visit took place on September 9, 2024 at 8 p.m. The biggest minus point is for the reservation. What can you reserve for on the homepage and express your wishes if in the end nothing is reserved? The whole thing is quite disorganized. As for the food, the steak was hot, but that was also because it was served on a hot stone. The fries that came with it were lukewarm to cold. Likewise the fried calamari with sweet potato fries, which were already cold and no longer as crispy. Location itself was great, but this Mauritius is still out for another visit.

Great location. The Sunday brunch is rightly an absolute hit. Super friendly service and really great atmosphere, we felt very comfortable. There are plenty of free parking spaces right at the old Schützenhaus, and a playground is right across the street if you need one. Small weak point: the toilets are incredibly narrow and the toilet seat falls into your back.

The breakfast buffet is ok, the lunch buffet is not worth it. The meat was too dry and the selection is very small. The service staff can't keep up with filling up the buffet and it costs €27 (as of August 2024). Drinks are not included.

We were here for brunch and first of all: great location! Everything was very pleasantly designed. However, we had to wait in line for quite a long time only to discover that some of the breakfast items had not been refilled. When it was my turn there was no more bread, no mustard for the white sausage, ... I lacked a bit more choice at lunch. Unfortunately it's a shame for the price. Nevertheless, the breakfast was delicious.

Nicer atmosphere, but much worse service and longer waiting times than in other Mauritius. Service staff overwhelmed during the week (wrong drinks delivered, inattentive, guests who arrived +30 minutes later received food earlier). It's a shame, we won't come back and go to Leonberg or Sindelfingen again.

Food and ambience were great. Service was a disaster, as we know it from the Mauritius chain. I waited an hour for a cyclist. After asking 4 times, I was told by the manager that I should stay calm, I said it politely. When we were paying, our waiter asked us to check out, and he came there 10 minutes later without doing anything in the meantime.

The price-performance ratio is great and makes every visit a pleasure. Particularly noteworthy is the family-friendliness, which makes Mauritius a perfect place for us. We are already looking forward to our next visit and can only warmly recommend Mauritius to everyone!

The site is an oasis in Stuttgart. It is ideal for having something as a couple, with friends, family, in a group... be it a cocktail or dinner. It is spacious, open-plan and well-kept. The terrace is an authentic beach club ideal for summer with pleasant separation between tables. The only downside is that you eat people who smoke if they touch you near you. The Cocktails both with and without alcohol and great lemonades. We ordered an Aperol Spritz and that one was very bland, to be honest, we didn't like it. But everything else a 10. And the food was very good, good portions (the salad was huge), decent quality/price ratios, very friendly and fast service from the waiters. It was Monday night and we went without a reservation, there was a place available but there was little atmosphere. We will return for sure.

Just wow! We went for breakfast/Mauritius Süd on Sunday and it was just wow! The waitresses are all sooo friendly and humorous, no waiting time, quick service of drinks ordered. The buffet was great, very large selection and especially what was empty was refilled straight away 👍 The restaurant wasn't too busy so it was a pleasant breakfast. In terms of price, it's expensive, about €120 for 3 people, i.e. the basic price of the buffet and additional drinks. But we'll come again :)

My husband and I were there again yesterday. The redesign was very successful. We felt very comfortable again. We especially like the fact that the tables are not so close to each other. As a non-smoker, you are somewhat protected from the smell of cigarettes. The staff is very friendly. The food is also highly recommended. What we didn't like was the Caipirinha. It really only consisted of crushed ice. My husband pulled twice and then the glass was empty except for the ice. That's why 1 star less so that we can work on it and improve it. But that's really complaining at a high level.

Unfortunately, the brunch is more appearance than reality. The breakfast is still ok for the price but the hot food was a joke. Rice, dry chicken and feta cheese. There were no sauces with it. When I asked the chef if there was any other food or sauce being served, he laughed and said no, it's just brunch. Unfortunately, that was our last visit for brunch.

We ate there with our child on Sunday, but unfortunately the wait was far too long. All the food, including the children's meal, only arrived after about an hour. After all the tables around us had already been served, we asked after 50 minutes. The waiter changed between inside which is probably why we were forgotten. The new waiter was friendly but brought the wrong food for the child and the main course wasn't really warm. Unfortunately, the arugula was also missing from the pasta. In the end, the wrong price was calculated (a children's meal is actually free on Sundays) and the waiter had to find out why the colleague had calculated it incorrectly. Unfortunately, the first waiter seemed less interested in serving the guests and more interested in flirting with female guests and obviously didn't notice that our food was missing.

More “appearance than reality” and mass instead of class! At first glance it's "hip" and at second glance it's rather "cheap" - lots of IKEA equipment and the mass of many parts and lights and chains etc. It's for the photo - but the feeling seems rather cheap. I think the price of €25 is incredibly high, considering that the price doesn't even include a hot drink or a juice - there's not even tap water included in the buffet!? + See buffet choices below. What really matters is the service and the food. Probably 10-15 waiters (only 1-2 ladies "monitoring" the buffet) (which by the way is really cringe and feels pretty strange?!) When you enter the restaurant, the service staff rush towards you like ants and you get the feeling of distress rather than well-intentioned and serious service. The service staff are attentive, but in my opinion they are not authentically nice, but rather fake. This reinforced my feeling that it was more illusion than reality - unfortunately! The buffet selection was large and in itself some nice ideas. There were no spectacular things - a lot from the glass etc. and of course A LOT of decoration. Also e.g. B Nuts in a jar with mini tongs in it. Looks great - but who, for example, takes one nut at a time for your muesli? And generally more sausage and cheese out of the package and placed on a platter. So no things that you don't have at home. Further note: there is hardly any choice for vegans and it is not properly labeled. And that for such a “hip” shed. Too bad about that! All in all, fine for a one-time visit. But you don't need to do it multiple times, in my opinion.

Nice hike from the forest cemetery on the Blaustrümpflerweg (with a short shortcut via the Marienhospital) here and then take the funicular back up to the parking lot. Nice service staff. Delicious pinsa and homemade mint cucumber lemonade. I would love to come again :))

A few weeks ago I went to Mauritius for brunch - they combine delicious food with a really nice atmosphere. The buffet selection at brunch was very good and varied. Truly something for everyone, even children! Everything is perfectly coordinated and worth a visit!

Order for pickup. Salad turkey strips Grandissimo salad total €34.80. We ordered collection by phone, everything worked without any problems, unpacked at home and we were shocked. The turkey salad... was a salad made from iceberg lettuce and exactly FOUR 2cm turkey strips. No tomatos!!!!!. The Grandissimo salad had NO CHEESE, NO OLIVES. We wanted without pepperoni but the chef thought it would be okay with it. So we understand the current prices and know how to assess the situation well, but not adding €35 for four pieces of meat and listed ingredients is an absolute impudence. We're happy to pay for good food, but we won't let ourselves be taken for a ride. The bread was roasted so hard it could be used as a weapon. We are extremely disappointed as we really enjoy going to this restaurant. The sauce was good as always.

I've been to Mauritius in Stuttgart Süd several times now. Whether for lunch, dinner or brunch. The location is awesome, especially on the terrace in summer. Service is also super accommodating and all the employees are really nice! The brunch buffet was prepared with a lot of love and had a lot to choose from. Lovely again!
