We ate here yesterday with 4 of us. Very nice place and also delicious. The Greek woman at the service was very personable. It's a shame that I live a bit too far to eat here more often.

We enjoyed Mediterranean appetizers. A very large variety and really very tasty. And it has to be said, a really great value for money. For €50 for two people, we were full with just starters.

We had dinner today with 8 people. The food was very, very good. Everyone was very satisfied. I've been here a few times and have always been very satisfied. Can definitely be recommended. The portions are also very large. Service is very friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back.

The food was delicious, but also expensive and the portion was too small. Otherwise, a pleasant atmosphere, good service, good location. Ps: it can happen but it doesn't have to be, spider on the ceiling..

We were here for the first time and had no problem getting a table spontaneously around 5:30 p.m. The ambience appealed to us. The service was friendly and the menu offers something for everyone from pizza to meat to fish, without offering boring standards. The food came quickly, looked well prepared and was super tasty. The only small drawback was the women's toilet, which was not stocked despite many soap and towel dispensers...

Friendly, quick service. 👍🏻 The pizza 🍕 is okay - but not a taste explosion. The offered key Alt 🍺 comes with little foam from the pipe. Unfortunately the 🔪 pizza knives are no longer sharp either... The restaurant is not well ventilated, so there is a strong smell of cooking in the restaurant - the further back you sit. Therefore, the outdoor area is definitely more recommended in the warm season. The restaurant is suitable for people with disabilities and is barrier-free. Even the access to the toilet is equipped with a switch that opens the door. Price/performance acceptable. Card payment possible.

Everything ok, friendly service, prices reasonable.

Integrating the old city wall into a restaurant is an extraordinary idea. This gives the impression that you are somehow sitting outside inside. The food was good, although the presentation could have been a bit more creative. The staff is friendly, but unfortunately not like that present, as I would wish.

It's been a very, very long time since I ate a very good lamb fillet like the one at Masonry Mediterranean. The staff were also very friendly.

Unfortunately, the pasta dishes haven't really convinced me yet, but the pizzas and the chocolate souffle are very, very tasty. There is a wide range of fish and meat on offer, but I cannot comment on them. The ambience is great both inside and outside, the service is fine. The service was very courteous and nice. Except for the pasta with seafood and tomato sauce, we were satisfied. With so much to choose from, not everything can turn out perfectly. But you can work on it.

Totally beautiful location, nice staff and the food was incredibly delicious!

From the fair menu, minimalist, ordered the Athens grill plate, it came to the table lukewarm, from the taste down to the meatball, hard and bland, cold, quite decent. The brake block also came back from the neighboring table. We'll give it another try!

I hadn't visited the Mauerwerk restaurant before but popped in for a quick drink and a small snack for lunchtime. The staff were very good and the small snacks were good.

Worst service in Nuess area. We were told by one server to take a seat, then when we spoke English the service got mad and kept saying "no no no" and took our menus away. He pointed at us and pointed to a different table. Another server came and took our order without addressing what happened. It took almost 45 minutes to get our food and we waited just as long to get bill. Even after asking for it.

A friend invited us to his birthday on the evening of August 22nd, 2024. We had a table outside, sat very comfortably, and the ambience was really pleasant. Unfortunately the food was a disaster. The beef fillet was completely cooked through, the accompanying potatoes tasted like they were from the day before, and my salad with chicken breast fillet was served with an indefinable sauce that was completely tasteless. We finally gave the pieces of meat to our dog, who ate them with relish. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We love the brickwork. It is one of the few Greek restaurants that stands out in terms of quality from the other Greeks. The dishes are well thought out, you can tell that people put some thought into creating the dishes. Everything fits together. Even the pizza is amazing. We drive there from Essen specifically to eat there. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. The ambience is also very modern with a high feel-good quality. It is worth one/several visits, of course. TOP 👍👍👍

Had dinner there last Saturday evening. We didn't even want to go in because almost everything outside and inside was occupied. But then we got a cookie. The service was very friendly and attentive. We were shocked by the prices on the menu, but what we were served totally surprised us. Huge portions. DELICIOUS! The price-performance ratio was right again. Thanks to the nice, friendly, young waiter, whose name I unfortunately don't know (hair tied in a bun).

There's also something special about sitting outside by the bubbling fountain under a huge parasol in the pouring rain, as I did the evening before yesterday. The ambience outside of the “Masonry” must be truly wonderful when the sun is shining. (I realized what an incredibly large restaurant this was when I used the restroom inside.) I ordered Tagliatelle Mediterranean, a mineral water and a green tea. I was very happy that I was served one of my favorite teas, namely the Morgentau variety from “Rönnefeldt”. Before the actual meal, some bread with a garlic spread was served. The tagliatelle came surprisingly quickly. Although the portion was quite large, the dish didn't really impress me in terms of taste as it was almost unseasoned and therefore tasted bland. The Mediterranean pasta dish contained (in addition to tomato sauce) cherry tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, zucchini and mozzarella. However, there is very little of the vegetables mentioned; too little for my opinion.

It was opened in advance especially for us as a group. Large portions at reasonable prices. However, the salmon wasn't cooked through, but the waitress took it back and re-served it without any problem. One more star due to the city center location

“Masonry” is simply worth recommending! The service is warm and courteous! The dishes are varied and very well made with high quality products. There is something for every taste. Price performance perfect. During our many visits we have never been disappointed. If the weather is good and you can spend time outside in a well-kept atmosphere, you'll feel like you're on vacation.

Large restaurant with fast and friendly service and an attractive menu. The starters chosen were a bit weak, lacking zing and spices. The main courses were delicious and well seasoned. The pulp was extremely tender and had the necessary roasted aromas. The gyro was well seasoned and also tender.

What can you say...I've eaten there several times. Always consistent, fantastic quality. The super friendly atmosphere and the pure hospitable attitude of all the employees make staying at the Mauerwerk always a good time. Widen like that!

Delicious food with a large selection in a nice atmosphere, the staff was extremely friendly and attentive, anything superfluous on the table was quickly cleared away. The small drawback was the volume, it was of course full, sometimes you can't have a good conversation. But that's the way things are... we'll definitely be back

The food is delicious, but the filling can vary greatly depending on the dish. The grill plates were well filled, but the fish dishes were very lean, which didn't justify the price at all. The atmosphere outside was great. Unfortunately, I cannot provide any information about the interior. But the worst thing about everything was the service. The starters were brought to the table quite quickly, but you have to wait a long time for drinks and the main course. If you asked the service about the long waiting time, you were arrogantly attacked.

Just came fresh from the masonry and had an EXCELLENT meal 👌🏼 Pork fillet in red wine sauce, with fresh asparagus, triplet potatoes and hollandaise sauce & Athens grill plate. Beforehand, the house provided a basket with ultra-fresh, delicious bread and a small pot of cream. All the waiters were very nice and attentive - the boss himself was also on site and took good care of us. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back!!

We celebrated our wedding in the masonry... and it couldn't have been better. We and our guests felt completely at home. A friendly team of waiters didn't let us miss anything in terms of drinks or food. A very relaxed and friendly (friendly) atmosphere. Since a change of tenant a few years ago, the Mauerwerk has once again become an absolute top address in Neuss. The cuisine is excellent, the ambience is harmonious and the owner and staff are very friendly and attentive. Compared to the quality standard, the prices are very low. A few years ago we increasingly avoided masonry because the quality of it had deteriorated significantly under the old management. Today is better than ever!

The food was super delicious! The waiter has long and dirty fingernails, which wasn't particularly appealing. Besides, he wasn't particularly good at communication in general. I ordered mayonnaise with my sweet potato fries and the waiter laughed briefly and loudly. I didn't receive the mayonnaise without a comment. In addition, it was very, very loud in the restaurant, so it was very difficult to have a conversation. Food was good, but I don't need another visit/.
