After eating very good Vietnamese food 1000 times, I have a special experience to announce here. The wonton soup was a straight A, as was the DUCK!! Truly exceptional and extraordinarily well made. Very fine restaurant with an authentic ambience // you feel comfortable. Keep it up!!! 🟪

We didn't like it at all. We often go out for Asian food but that was nothing. The salad was just sour, the spring rolls were rather bland and tiny. The warm food was ok but not really special. The price was excessive. The lady was brisk and not very friendly.

The food was fresh, tasty, well seasoned and the price/performance ratio was also right.

Best meal in a long time. We'd love to come back when we're in Hamburg.

A nice and cozy restaurant but we had to wait almost two hours for our food

A neighborhood Vietnamese restaurant to feel good and enjoy! In addition, fantastic fresh cuisine with high-quality ingredients. The vegetables are crunchy, herbs plentiful and fresh. The service (the restaurant is family run) is very attentive. The atmosphere is great and loving - very comfortably furnished. Be sure to go, try it and you'll be happy🤍

One of the tastiest places for Vietnamese cuisine. All dishes are of very high quality and the taste is simply outstanding, it exceeded all expectations. I would eat there every day if I lived in Hamburg.

Excellent! We tried three different dishes and all were great (duck, fish, beef). Loads of veggies as well. Very good prices for the amount and quality of food, and a very pretty setting, both on the terrace and inside. Highly recommended!

My girlfriend and I love Pho Bó and enjoy going there. The Pho isn't the best in Hamburg, but it's tasty. The service is great and the atmosphere in the basement room is really cozy and pretty. The rest of the food is highly recommended and beautifully prepared. Tiger beer is available on tap, which is also very good. 👍🏻

We have been coming to the "Mau" regularly for many years and everything is always just right here: the food is always excellently seasoned, the vegetables are always crunchy - the overall composition and presentation is always great. The service is always friendly and courteous and the atmosphere is lively - pleasant. You feel good. In my opinion, one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the city & always worth a visit, which is why all friends from near and far (including many Australians have already dined here & were thrilled): The homemade iced teas are also highly recommended and the Wines are also really excellent. Thank you very much and please stay as you are, dear Mau crew! :-).

Für mich mit das beste asiatische Essen, welches ich in Deutschland bekommen habe

Von außen wirkt der Laden eher klein. Jedoch herrscht innen eine angenehme, saubere und freundliche Atmosphäre. Wir wurden sehr nett bedient und haben sehr leckeres Essen genießen können. Für Jeden ist was dabei, die Preise sind fair, das Essen schmeckt herrlich frisch und ausbalanciert.

Das Ambiente war sehr ansprechend. Das Essen sehr interessant und raffiniert gewürzt. Wir werden wieder kommen. Die Musik war sehr angenehm, der Service schien viel Spaß zu haben.. allerdings waren wir zu der Uhrzeit auch noch alleine.

Sind seit Jahren Stammgäste hier und werden es auch bleiben. Die Speisen sind wirklich authentisch und hervorragend. Die 51 ist Weltklasse. Die 52 auch. :) Service immer klasse. Klare Empfehlung

Leckeres Essen, mit nettem Service. Das Restaurant ist direkt an der Straße, daher ist der Ausblick nicht ganz so schön, aber drinnen ist es gemütlich.

Freundlicher Service, super leckeres Essen - heiß und frisch zubereitet und optisch sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Der Besuch hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt!

The best Asian food to get in Hamburg and Germany.

Ich bestelle hier wirklich wöchentlich (manchmal sogar öfters in der Woche) - absolut lecker und super schnell fertig! Eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants in Hamburg.

Sehr große Auswahl an verschiedenen Speisen. Neben vielen Fleischgerichten gab es zudem eine Vielfalt an veganen als auch vegetarischen Gerichten. Ich hatte eine vegetarische Speise mit Gemüse, Reis und Honig Soja Sauce. Das Essen war super frisch, heiß und exzellent gewürzt. Die Terrasse draußen hat mir ebenfalls gut gefallen. Es ist relativ viel Platz zwischen den Tischen, so dass man nicht eng an eng sitzt. Der Service war nett und schnell. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Sehr leckere Gerichte. Uns wurden Empfehlungen ausgesprochen, die allesamt sehr gut waren. Besonders ist auch die hausgemachte Limo. Uns hat Zitronengras besonders gut geschmeckt. Draußen ist vergleichsweise viel Platz.

Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist klasse. Das Essen war lecker und gut angerichtet. Wer Freude hat an vietnamesischer Küche kommt hier auf seine Kosten. Wir kommen immer wieder gern.

Solid 2.5 stars. Unfortunately, this place did not deliver on a price performance ratio. We paid 49 Euros in total for a papaya salad (quite delicious, highly recommend), a traditional beef pho (broth was good, but the flavours were undeveloped, there were no bean sprouts or basil served, and most importantly, the beef was lean and tough. This pho was priced at a whopping 16 euros), and a chicken teriyaki equivalent (the chicken was two thin slices of breast, not the best part to use for a chicken terriyaki). All in all the food was good if it was for half the price. I expected much more from a 16-euro bowl of pho!

Zum späten Mittagstisch in der Woche waren wir zu 2 hier und wurden sehr nett bedient. Das Essen war frisch und wurde schnell serviert. Die Karte hat eine große Auswahl an verschiedenen Gerichten. Alles da, was man sich wünscht. Die Darbietung des Essens hat mir auch gut gefallen. Die hauseigene Limonade hat sehr lecker geschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut! Alles sehr frisch und sehr lecker! Leider sehr laut, man muss sich anschreien, wenn man sich unterhalten möchte!

Im Restaurant angekommen wurden wir sehr freundlich begrüsst und zum reservierten Tisch begleitet. Auf Grund einer großen Gruppe am Nebentisch bat man uns an, den Tisch in einen ruhigeren Bereich zu wechseln-dies empfanden wir als sehr angenehm. Das Essen selbst war großartig. Frische, Würze und die Portionsgrößen haben gestimmt. Auch das Dessert hat gut geschmeckt. Uns hat der Abend im Mau gut gefallen und kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen war insgesamt gut, leider mittlerweile echt teuer für die Portionsgröße. Wir haben viel bezahlt und sind leider nicht satt geworden. Aufgrund der Bedienung geben wir jedoch nur 2 Sterne, selten so jemanden unfreundliches & freches und sehr unprofessionelles in der Gastronomie erlebt. Wir waren schon öfter bei Mau, dies war vermutlich das letzte Mal…

Die Vorspeisen und auch die Hauptspeisen waren seehr lecker! Frisch und sehr schön angerichtet. Das Dessert war nicht so meins, aber das kann ja Geschmackssache sein. An unserem Tisch war es leider etwas zugig, nächstes mal probieren wir einen anderen Platz.

Very nice restaurant. We had started which were very good and I ordered the vegan curry which was just delicious. The atmosphere inside is very nice and cozy. Would recommend!

Einrichtung einfach, aber sehr leckeres Essen und sehr gute Wein getrunken. Das Essen war sehr gut abgeschmeckt, Portion zum satt werden. Hatte Wildschweingericht. Preis-Leistung👍

Kleine Portionen , strenger Geruch am Eingang , unfreundliche Bedienung aber das schmeckt gut und kommt relativ schnell . Teuer für die Portiongrößen

Definitely one of the finer Vietnamese in Hamburg, the food is deliciously flavoured, but rather on the mild side. The ambience is cosy, but when we were there there was terrible piano music playing, more suited to a lift or a hotel bar with lonely characters.

Mau das Vietnamesische Restaurant in Eppendorf ist sehr lecker 😋 und kann diese Asiatische Küche nur empfehlen. 🍚 Es ist alles frisch zubereitet. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ob draußen oder drinnen, es ist ein schönes Ambiente. Wir waren schon zweimal da und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir kommen wieder 😉
