Ideal for casual dining or takeaway. A particularly positive aspect is that you can create your own plate with individual rolls, rather than having to buy in batches of six. The sushi was very tasty, although the rolls could have been a bit smaller, or with less rice. The service was also very attentive and friendly. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality!

We order here regularly and are always very satisfied. The surf and turf box is a particular highlight for us: it tastes fantastic, is very fresh, perfectly balanced, and the portions are truly generous. Everything is beautifully presented, and you can tell that care and quality are paramount. The delivery service is also consistently excellent. Delivery is reliable; even on busy evenings like today, Friday, everything arrived absolutely on time. The driver was, as always, very friendly and courteous. For us, everything is just right: taste, quality, quantity, and service. We've been ordering regularly for a long time and will definitely continue to do so in the future. A clear five stars.

We found the most expensive sushi shop in Düsseldorf. Unfortunately, the quality doesn't even come close to the price. We paid €75 for the dish (see photo). Both the rice and the fish taste anything but fresh. They don't even accept credit cards and don't have a restroom where you can wash your hands. Better to go to the ramen shop across the street.

BaBa Sushi doesn't offer purely traditional Japanese cuisine. Instead, guests can expect a diverse fusion selection. Besides classic nigiri, maki, and sashimi, you'll also find creative variations like dragon rolls, tiger rolls, and various deep-fried sushi rolls. The menu extends far beyond sushi: pho, bún bo nam bo, summer rolls, fried wontons, and other Vietnamese classics ensure that even guests who don't like sushi will easily find something to their liking. The drinks menu is varied and well-curated: in addition to classic soft drinks and aperitifs, there's a selection of cocktails—both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Cocktails are priced at around €10. The restaurant was very busy during our visit. Reservations—especially on weekends—are highly recommended. The seating is relatively close together, which can make it noisy when the restaurant is full. However, the overall ambiance is very appealing. The quality of the food was a pleasant surprise for a fusion restaurant. Despite the high volume of customers, the service was friendly. However, the flow of the service seemed somewhat chaotic at times, likely due to less-than-ideal internal communication. The restrooms were less than impressive; they could have been cleaner and tidier. Given the large number of guests, this is understandable, though there's room for improvement. The bill for two of us came to around €70, including tip – a price I consider reasonable. If you're expecting traditional Japanese cuisine, this isn't the place for you. But if you're open to creative fusion dishes, you'll definitely find something to your liking and leave satisfied.

For years, Sato was our favorite Asian restaurant; we regularly got takeout. Now there are new owners, and you can just tell how drastically the food has gotten worse. I'm so disappointed. Sato was our number one; the food was incredibly delicious, and the previous owners were so friendly. They knew us so well that as soon as we called, they knew exactly who the order was for.
