We love Maruyasu. We were guests at the Zeil for a long time and now at Sandweg. The sushi and miso soup are fresh and very tasty. There are also a large number of warm dishes with noodles or rice.

We came here spontaneously in the evening because we were looking for a restaurant with ramen in Bornheim. You have to place your order yourself at the counter, we didn't know that at first and sat in our seats for a relatively long time before we ordered. We would have liked a little hint from the staff, but it was our own fault. We'll know for next time. Then the meal went very quickly and the two ramen were absolutely delicious. Price-wise, it's completely okay, especially for Frankfurt, we'd be happy to come back.

Ramen absolutely fine. The broth is very good and strong and not too fatty. Unfortunately, the noodle and gyoza are not homemade but that's ok. Portion is sufficient. Service very nice.

Maruyasu is a go-to spot for a quick Japanese fix. Their sushi, showcased in plastic containers within a vitrine, offers a decent variety of classic rolls as well as conveniently prepped meals. All in all, they offer reliable Japanese cuisine in an approachable format that comes with a friendly, and hassle-free service at reasonable prices.

I have tried several Maruyasu dishes and have always been very satisfied. That's very rare.

A very disappointing restaurant. I order Tonkotsu Ramen, but what was served had nothing to do with it. The broth was watery and totally poor in taste. Clearly not freshly cooked. The noodles are also bland and the inserts don't save the overall product. For me, the worst ramen I've tasted in Frankfurt so far!

Maruyasu in Frankfurt's Nordend is a charming little eatery that offers an impressive selection of ramen and sushi. The quality of the dishes is very good and the prices are more than fair considering this quality. Particularly noteworthy are the fresh, original Japanese sushi at the counter and the lovingly prepared plates when you eat in the restaurant. The selection of ramen and sushi is large, and the staff is consistently polite and accommodating. The only drawback: Unfortunately, credit cards are not accepted.

Nice ramen and sushi shop with very reasonable prices. There is fresh sushi, salads and fried food at the counter, and when you eat in the restaurant it is lovingly arranged on small plates. Large selection of ramen and very polite service. I will certainly come back!

We didn't stay to eat at all - anyone who insults their guests in such an unfriendly way can't really hope for a good review. We turned on our heels and left immediately. Never again!!

Der Service ist eine Katasthrofe!!! Für eine Suppe zu mitnehmen 35 Minuten. Sie haben seit lange Zeit Perdonalmängel aber nach 1 Jahr können sie wphl eine Lösung suchen. Sonst ist die Qualität in Ordnung.

Das originale japanische Sushi! Einfachheit, Qualität, Sauberkeit und Geschmack überzeugen in jeder Hinsicht.

Super Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr große Portion. Ramen war ein bisschen zu weich, karage war leider überfrittiert. Aber hat sich trotzdem gelohnt. Viele tolle Angebote zur Mitnahme.

We had a Gyoza menu and some udon noodles - we loved the food and can’t wait to go back. Can’t really judge ambience or service as we visited late afternoon and the restaurant was pretty much empty. Five stars for the udon bowl alone

Gutes Sushi, authentisches Ambiente und übersichtliche Auswahl + Preisgestaltung. Das Sushi ist wirklich sättigend, da es größere flache Stücke sind im Vergleich zu anderen Sushi-Lokalen. Das nächste Mal wird das Ramen ausprobiert. Als ich da gewesen war, hieß es, es gebe aktuell keine Ramengerichte (das war unter der Woche gegen 16 Uhr) . Eine Begründung wurde leider nicht geliefert. Die Kaltgetränke sind in Relation zum Sushi eher teurer (3,50 € und aufwärts)

Beste Sushi weit und breit, fahren extra von 40-50km Entfernung hierher um Sushi zu essen oder mitzunehmen, schmeckt sogar wenn man es kühl lagert am nächsten Tag immer noch super.

A shame. You would think that an original Japanese chain from Düsseldorf would deliver similar to the Takumi but it failed on all fronts. The ramen broth was very tasteless, an optional egg for the ramen was not available and the prepacked deep fried Ebi that gets heated up again is just lackluster. The service was willing, but mostly clueless.

Unfo not as good as it was before. We had two of their noodle soups yesterday and both of them have been very poor tastewise. Esp. the ramen broth was very watery, no taste at all. Noodles totally overcooked and nearly dissolving. Probably a bad day but my feeling is there is no chef in the kitchen any more but only temporary staff with no idea about the dishes and Japanese cooking. Very frustrating as this place has a long and successful history.

Toll. Der Traditionsjapaner aus Düsseldor (sehr große japan. Gemeinde) besticht durch große Auswahl und Frische. Take away mit kleinem Gastraum.

Einfach lecker, heute zum ersten Mal nach 25Jahren, die königliche Suppe bei Tageslicht gegessen und nicht wie üblich in den Kellern des Galeria Kaufhof... Im Sandweg ist es auch nett, aber anders..

A qualidade é boa mas escolhemos o ramen de guiosas de vegetais e vinha com carne picada. O meu onigiri de salmão (etiquetado como tal) era de atum enlatado. Estava bom mas não foi o que pedimos. O sushi vegetariano era bom.

Freundliche Bedienung, leckeres Sushi, in sich stimmiges Ambiente. Jetzt das Meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau: Der grüne Tee zu heiß, das Sushi zu kühl serviert. Aber trotzdem gerne wieder!

Netter Sushi-Imbiss mit guter Qualität zu vernünftigen Preisen. Ambiente typisch japanisch kühl, spartanisch. Kein Ort zum Verweilen oder für Feiern, eher für das schnelle Mittagessen. Takeaway möglich. Freundliche Bedienung.

Delicious food and good prices 😊

Gut sortierte Sushi-Theke, gute Auswahl und vor allem die schmecken auch gut. Auch die Ebi-Tempura's sind dann schön kross (Zuhause kurz im Backofen erhitzen, ca. 4-5min bei 210°C ? naja so ungefähr : ) Gehen gerne wieder hin. Leider waren die am Samstag geschlossen (Sonntags auch) gewesen, zumindest laut Google, als wir in der Nähe gewesen sind, wollten wir wieder hin.

I was there with some colleagues. All of the different foods were very tasty. Every sushi was good looking and freshly made.

Kleines gemütliches Japanisches Restaurant mit authentischen Nudelsuppen (ramen, udon etc.) Es gibt auch sushi. Parken ist in FFM schwierig, falls man aber nichts findet sind auch Parkhäuser in der Nähe. Kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Man muss nicht unbedingt nach Düsseldorf für guten ramen :)

Leider aktuell kein Restaurantbetrieb, aber Essen abholen bzw. bestellen geht glücklicherweise immer noch. Hoffentlich öffnet es auch bald wieder für den Publikumsverkehr, weil das Essen dort im Restaurant ist doch auch immer wieder sehr schön.

Es ist immer wieder angenehm hier Mittag zu essen, ich gehe oft mit meinen Freunden hierhin, die Bedienungen sind ultra nett und das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und die gyoza, einfach nur muah, kann auch das Sushi sehr empfehlen.

Die Ramen sind lecker und werden schnell zubereitet. Gut für eine schnelle Mahlzeit. Komme gerne wieder.

Una agradable sorpresa dentro de una tienda en la planta baja. Uno de los mejores sushi que he ate. Hay un menú, pero usted puede elegir desde una ventana, y las chicas que trabaja allí poner lo que quieras en un plato y se paga en el cajero. Extremadamente limpio y te sientas en el balcón. Era tan buena que fui más de tres veces en días diferentes, por supuesto.

Das ist für mich einer der BESTEN Japanischen Restaurants in Frankfurt. Ist nicht so groß, alles Frisch und lecker, for allem die verschiedene Udon Suppen sind einfach TOP !!!! Komme immer wieder gerne vorbei...

Super leckere Suppen und außergewöhnlich leckeres Sushi. Die Bedienung, eine Japanerin war total nett und kinderfreundlich. Durch ihre herzliche Art fühlten wir uns dort wie zu Hause. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen :)

Kaufhof'un süper marketinin içinde yer alan bu güzel ve renkli lokantada udon erişteli tempuralı çorba yedim, çok güzel ve lezzetliydi. Fiyatlar da oldukça uygun. Tavsiye ederim.

Wenn man das Lokal betritt könnte man denken es wäre einer von diesen unerträglich schlechten Sushi Ketten die es inzwischen zuhauf gibt mit den symptomatischen Förderbändern. Hier gibt eine grosse Theke mit abgedeckten Sushi Teilen. Auch nicht gerade einladend. ABER: Das Aushilfe ist frisch und gut und hier gibt es eine reichliche Auswahl von RAMEN und UDON Suppen die Klasse sind. Also nicht abschrecken lassen von dem etwas merkwürdigen Ambiente. Empfehlenswert!

O restaurante fica escondido numa galeria. É um pouco difícil de se comunicar pois as atendentes falam basicamente apenas japonês mas recomendo bastante pois possui o melhor gyoza que experimentei em minha vida.

Sushi und Japanische Gerichte mit authentischen Geschmack. Relativ große Sushi Auswahl und kleinere Auswahl an japanischen warmen Gerichten. Suppe und der Algensalst waren sehr gut. Beim Sushi könnte der Fischanteil etwas höher sein. Sehr freundlicher Service, gerne wieder. Nur 5 Minuten vom Mousumturm entfernt !

Visited the place for lunch on a weekday. There is a nice selection of lunch options (for a Japanese place): You can choose a menue which contains meat/fish/gyoza and rice, salad and miso soup, with prices ranging from 8 to 11 Euro, or a noodle soup. In the soup section you can choose the type of broth (miso-based, soy-sauce based or broth cooked with pork bones), type of noodles (ramen or udon) and the main ingredient of the soup (grilled/fried chicken, grilled pork, fried beef, gyoza, seafood tempura...) We had the gyoza menue, which was very nice with the gyoza cooked perfectly and very soft and tasty, and the ramen soup which was very pretty to look at (see pictures), with good ingredients and a very tasty broth (pork-based). The service is very basic but relatively fast and polite - you order at the counter and the lady brings you the dishes to your table. The design is quite minimalistic, modern and clean. There's also a very large sushi selection, much of it already in boxes which can be picked up at the big clean counter. Prices are reasonable and the sushi is well made, although don't expect miracles - the cheaper boxes are based on cheaper ingredients (not a lot of fresh fish). Overall a good place for lunch if you're in the neighborhood.
