It took a long time to wait, but that's understandable because there was a lot going on. It was also quite loud and the air conditioning was very violent. The platters are very nice but generally 80% of the menu has nothing to do with authentic sushi. If you're into it, you can go there. You are also very economical with homemade drinks.

We spontaneously got a table in the evening. We were allowed to choose a table, after we chose one, we were told to choose another table because the employees would immediately walk past there with trash to clean up. The service itself was great and all the employees were friendly, everything went really quickly and the sushi “box” for 2 was very tasty and I can really recommend it! Unfortunately it is a bit cramped and the whole restaurant was being tidied up during our stay and rubbish was being carried around while guests were still sitting and eating in the restaurant. That was really very unpleasant and disturbing. Why don't you clean up the shop after work? For that reason I would never go there again in the evening! Maybe work clothes should also be reconsidered... you might think you're on the ball in Mallorca.

Since the restaurant moved, there is definitely more space for guests. However, I have the feeling that the drinks taste a bit watery now (lemonades). The sushi is consistently delicious.

However, there were 2 points of criticism: 1. The seating was so tight that people were constantly bumping into you while you were eating. 2. During the majority of the meal there was a pungent smell of chlorine coming from somewhere (kitchen?)

Extremely delicious sushi! Even as a vegan you get your money's worth here and are completely satisfied. We had the Vegan for Share platter. Price performance ratio is 1a and we can absolutely recommend it! The service is extremely friendly and the food doesn't take long to arrive. 5 well-deserved stars from us!

A culinary highlight! I had the pleasure of visiting this sushi restaurant and it was an exceptional experience. The freshness of the ingredients was impressive - every piece of sushi seemed to come straight from the sea to my plate. Particularly noteworthy is the fascinating fusion cuisine, which combines traditional Japanese flavors with modern, creative influences. Each dish was a work of art in itself, both visually and taste-wise. An absolute must for all sushi lovers!

The sushi was very tasty. We had “The Green” and “Super Marios”. To drink there was the Frech Kiss. However, the tables are very close together and we had to wait quite a long time for our food. It would probably have been nicer to sit outside or in the courtyard, but you can't make a reservation there. So it's worth being quick.

2 stars out of pity for trying to make our stay bearable. We had reserved a table for 7:30 p.m. When we arrived we were told that despite a reservation we would have to wait 30 minutes until something became available. After we sat at our table shortly after 8, we were offered 4 free starters for 8 people. After asking twice when our food would arrive, it was gradually served to us at 9:30 p.m. Two of us also received the wrong food. Instead of vegetarian there was fish and one type of roll was missing from two plates with the comment that they would come in 15 minutes. In the end the drinks were on the house, but after 2 hours the mood at the table was no longer pleasant because we were all hungry. Not recommended to spend your Friday evening like this.

We reserved a table for 8 people at 7:30 p.m. We got one at 8 p.m. There were 4 starters on the house. So far so good. Drink orders were taken and drinks arrived. Food orders were taken, including some vegan options. Shortly before 9 p.m. we asked for food. The waitress replied bluntly and said we were a large group and they wanted to bring the food at the same time. No one asked for any more drinks in between and no one else came by to ask if everything was ok. After we said that we had to wait almost an hour for food and 30 minutes for the table, the waiter just said: It hasn't been an hour yet. Simply cheeky. The food arrived at 9:30 p.m., not at the same time but with a delay of about 10 minutes. Soy sauce and ginger only came later with the rest of the meal upon request. Then some of the vegan platters had fake sushi rolls with fish. We were told: yes, with the fried rolls you can't tell what's inside. But after cutting it open you would have been able to see the color of the salmon at the latest. Doesn't work at all. We then at least got the drinks refunded. However, some only had one small drink the entire time. Food was good, but nothing special. All in all, a failed evening and the mood of us hungry guests has changed. A pity. We won't be coming back.

The sushi is delicious and very fresh here. They have nice outdoor seating in front as well as indoor seating. We went on a hot day and they had AC as it was very nice and cool inside. Would definitely recommend eating here!

The food and service are pretty good so far, but what really upsets me and makes me feel ripped off is having to pay €6 for tap water... Thanks, but unfortunately that's not possible, regardless of whether Sodastream is allowed to be used commercially and, above all, in reusable bottles for hygiene reasons.

I don't go to Bergers Streetfood very often, but I enjoy coming here every time. The food is really excellent and the presentation is great - although a little more expensive than other sushi restaurants. We ordered the Salmon Lover, The Green and the Maki Mix. The restaurant is located directly on a busy street, so I've always sat outside, so I can't judge what the ambience is like inside the restaurant. Unfortunately, sometimes it takes a little longer for someone to come outside. But that may also be because of how many people are sitting outside.

Food was ok but you had to wait an hour between courses. After I asked how long it would take, I was assured that it would be there straight away... it was another 30 minutes :/

The restaurant offers a nice, pleasant atmosphere both indoors and outdoors. The service is fast and professional, but could be more interactive. I ordered the “Green Flash” drink. It is slightly sweet and has a pleasant cucumber flavor, and it is also very visually appealing. The Buddha Rolls are the perfect size for consumption and have a very intense taste. The Avocado Maki is nothing special, but works well as a side dish. The highlight was the green tea mochi ice cream, which impressed with its balanced taste and was also beautifully presented.

Very tasty sushi and great drink selection. Unfortunately, you're not always lucky when it comes to placement in the interior, but the service is quite nice. The prices are okay, but a little higher. There is a large, unusual sushi selection!

Too loud, too chaotic, the waiter took our order wrong and made us wait for 40 minutes just for the drinks. We walked away (after paid what we reiceved: one small water). They were even try to make us pay for food we have never received. This is unfortunately a huge no from my experience.

Annoying when you just want to pick something up, pay in advance and after 30 minutes you are informed that it will take another 30 minutes. Communication needs to be improved here. The two stars therefore explicitly refer to the poor communication for those picking up, otherwise the place is very good My tip is to only eat at off-peak times and then in the restaurant

I ordered a Shusi Platze Green. For the price, completely sufficient quantity. I found the unusual varieties very creative. However, I personally didn't like the sweet note of the sushi. But this is just my personal taste. Service was top and friendly. The ambience itself is harmonious, but relatively narrow. I would still consider visiting again.

Sushi: underground. Maybe you can give 4 or 5 stars if your taste buds are shot and/or you don't know what real sushi tastes like.

Berger Streetfood promises a unique fusion of traditional sushi and innovative creations. I visited the restaurant with a colleague and tried both the miso soup and a vegan menu. The first impression was a bit ambivalent. The store is extremely small and was crowded that evening, causing a certain level of discomfort. The disturbing music didn't exactly help with relaxation. We were seated at a table in the corner near the door, which made our communication difficult as there was a large group sitting next to us. The service was correspondingly slow. The menu offered an interesting selection of sushi variations, for both fish lovers and vegans. However, I was disappointed that there were only two vegan menu options, one of which was intended for two people. This severely limited my choice, because for me menus offer a cheap alternative and the chance to try a variety of sushi compared to ordering individual sushi. However, the taste of the food was convincing. The miso soup was delicious, although it tasted a little too strong of seaweed for my taste. The sushi was also freshly and deliciously prepared, and the drinks were refreshing. However, the price is an aspect that leaves something to be desired, especially considering the narrow confines of the restaurant and the ambience. Given the positive aspects such as the interesting sushi selection and the good taste of the food, but also the negative points such as the tight space and limited vegan menu options, I would give Berger Streetfood an overall 3 out of 5 stars.

Very good food but it is always full and you definitely have to make a reservation. Unfortunately, the two of you often sit in the aisle and generally wait a long time for the waiter. Nevertheless, I always like to come back because the sushi tastes really good!

Food and drinks were very tasty. We had a sushi box and a vegan sushi box to share and were very satisfied, one box is enough for two people. Plus homemade juices (including kumquat, passion fruit). The starters (edamame and miso soup) were unfortunately very expensive. Unfortunately we sat almost directly under the draft of the air conditioning and it was very cold. We mentioned this several times to the waitress, who promised to turn off the air conditioning - unfortunately that never happened. As a result, some of us sat at the table in winter jackets, which wasn't the best solution at all. Of course, that detracted from the overall experience.

I really like coming to this place. The sushi is delicious, one of the best in Frankfurt. My favorite is the truffle maki. But since this place is so popular, it becomes a bit chaotic. The service was good, and they took care to make us feel comfortable. But in general it is expensive for the size of the portions and the cocktails.

Location was very nicely designed, service was quick and friendly and the food was very tasty, even if a little higher priced. The salmon menu with truffles was a new combination for me and we enjoyed it very much, I can recommend it! Likewise the strawberry cheesecake mochi. The only drawback is that the Lady Red lemonade for €6.50 is very small. The bottle is empty in one gulp.

I really enjoy coming to Lunch menu. Price/performance is really TOP. I love the crispy, fried sushi. However, the drink prices are a bit high for the quality. However, if I spend 40-50€ in the evening For the amount of money I spend on food per person, I would like to have a little more space and not sit so cramped. Staff was always very friendly.

Sushi 10/10, the fish is very high quality, super tasty. No standard sushi but delicious combinations that you don't see anywhere else. My favorite: Vulcano Roll. It's a bit expensive, but I'm happy to pay that for the fish. But a small portion of edamame costs €5 and the lemonades are also way too expensive. The atmosphere is nice, but I don't like eating there, I usually take it with me because it's extremely stressful for me to eat there, too loud, hectic, cramped. So unfortunately you can't have a relaxing evening there in my opinion. The employees are also stressed and often forget things, but mostly everyone is friendly. The sushi is really the only thing that convinces me there, unfortunately everything else doesn't.

Unfortunately, way too overpriced.. We ordered two espressos and paid a whopping €10 for them... Most expensive espresso of my life.. No other sushi shop charges EXTRA for wasabi... Here it does.. Everything that isn't on the menu is charged Simply charged three times as much on the receipt, probably to compensate for not ordering a 7€ lemonade.. I really felt ripped off, what a shame... :(

Absolute sushi restaurant favorite in Frankfurt. The Box for Share is unbeatable in terms of price and performance. Order these every time and swap one or two rolls for our favorite rolls. The restaurant is actually full every time we are there and yet you don't have to wait long for your food. We always like to come.

It was a very special experience. The sushi was fresh and totally special. No matter whether it was normal Makis or the special Black Widdow Rolls 😋 The food came very quickly, even though it was completely full. Despite reservations, we unfortunately had to wait a bit (30 minutes), but as compensation we were brought 4 starters and 2 desserts on the house. That was definitely very nice, so the wait wasn't too bad.

We came to celebrate the birthday of our youngest son (the children wanted sushi). It was the most delicious sushi of my life. Plus, I would give ten stars separately for the original lemonades. A very atmospheric establishment. The hall is tiny, but very cozy. Plus there is a lot of space outside, but yesterday it was still cool. The presentation is gorgeous. They didn't wait long. The prices are high, but it was worth it. We'll definitely go again!

All in all a very nice evening. Urban atmosphere, beautifully prepared food that also tasted very good. I actually usually eat too much meat, so it was great to be offered excellent vegan options alongside the great fish dishes. My absolute favorite last night was the Sahara Rolls.

Probably the best sushi sets in Frankfurt!

First about the ambience, the decoration is nice but overall it is very narrow and you sit close to other guests. The food is normal so nothing special, but the portions are tiny and still expensive. So the price-performance ratio is not right at all. And now to the service, that was the unfriendly staff I have ever seen. We were a group of 11 people and had reserved a table. First we had to wait outside in the cold for 10 minutes and then we came to the farthest corner. There were enough tables there, but they were far too narrow so that we had little to no space. We got nasty looks from the staff the whole time we were ordering. In the end we were complained about because we didn't spend at least €35 per person, we only spent €20-30 per person. And when we said we were sorry they just said you can leave now, which was really very unfriendly. In general, this restaurant is very stingy, for example the 0.2 glasses were filled exactly to the limit and not a little more than that. So I can't recommend this restaurant, I'd rather go to another one because there are several on this street. LG <3

If I lived in Frankfurt it would be one of my main choices when going out to eat. Hyg. Be sure to make a reservation, the shop is always full.

I come here often and actually enjoy it because there is a good selection of sushi without fish (vegetarian). The value for money for sushi is great, but I'm always disappointed with the drinks. The “homemade” lemonade tastes like water with syrup and I think €6-7 for 0.25ml is not justified!! (2 sips). The Cola always (!!) has almost no carbon dioxide. I also find that the tables are so squashed that you often end up sitting in such a tight space that you have to make room every time someone wants to walk past. This makes the visit quite stressful.

Visited Bergerstreetfood for the first time today and were thrilled. Both the food and the service were great. Although we had to wait a little while at the entrance despite having a reservation, we were greeted very friendly by the manager and shown to the table. I can highly recommend the box for share and the coconut balls are equally delicious. The drinks were a little overpriced for the quantity, but overall the price-performance ratio is completely fine. Sehr ausgefallenes Sushi. Viel Auswahl für Veganer. Die Getränke sind ebenfalls sehr lecker. Der Fisch hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Preislich schon sehr hoch. Wir haben zu viert ca. 160€ insgesamt gezahlt. Generell als Tipp sich zuvor die Karte schon mal online ansehen, weil die Auswahl einen erstmal überfordern kann. Als Tipp: auf der Karte stehen kaum panierte oder frittierte Gerichte, doch man kann sich z.B. flexibel Makis mit panierter Hülle bestellen, was super lecker ist.
