Today (July 4, 2025), the service and ambiance are once again good and pleasant, and the food is still as delicious as ever. However, I noticed that the large bottle of water now costs €10.00. That's a ridiculously high price.

A super sushi spot, highly recommended. A quick tip: the Black Widow rolls or the hot spicy tuna rolls. The place offers fresh sushi in various variations and is a great place for special occasions or simply a nice evening meal. We'll be back.

An ideal place for a family celebration! We came to celebrate a child's birthday - the kids insisted on sushi, and we were right! This sushi was a gastronomic revelation for us, perhaps the best of all that we tried. A special delight - the signature lemonades, deserving special recognition. The cafe captivates with a special atmosphere: a miniature cozy hall and a spacious summer veranda (it's a pity, the evening turned out to be cool). The dishes were served quickly and with an amazing presentation. Yes, the prices are above average, but every penny here is justified by the quality. We are already making plans for the next visit - we liked everything so much!

If you’re planning to go in the evening, I’d highly recommend booking in advance. They offer both indoor seating and a pleasant outdoor area. The interior is nicely designed simple and comfortable, not overly fancy. So if you’re looking for a laid-back place with genuinely good sushi, this is a great choice. Service is another highlight: the staff are polite, attentive, and always helpful. Whether you’re a local or just spending a day in Frankfurt, this place is definitely worth a visit if you’re in the mood for sushi.

Unfortunately, due to the extremely high prices, I only give it a 3. It's truly unbelievable how they've raised the prices. I've been going there for years, and the prices have always been okay for me. But right now, you're paying €9.50 for makis (with tuna and avocado, 6 pieces). No go!

We were a group of 11 people, also on a weekend getaway, eager to have a good time and enjoy a good meal. When we made our reservation a few days earlier, they forced us to pay a €300 deposit on the grounds that there was a street party and they would lose out if we didn't show. When the first part of the group arrived on the appointed day, they forced them to order or risk canceling our reservation, with a minimum consumption of €35 per person required. The setting was unfriendly, too noisy, they pushed for consumption, showed no customer service, and sold bottled water for €10!!! The savory menu was good, but the dessert was a huge disappointment. We were rushed to leave at the end of the evening, which I found uncommercial and rude. For a group of 11 people, this is unacceptable. We will not be back; I CANCEL.

A beautifully decorated restaurant in the heart of Bergerstrasse, which immediately pleases with a cozy atmosphere. The food here is beyond praise - especially impressive is the huge variety of sushi, each portion was fresh and very tasty. The drinks are also top notch, especially liked the homemade lemonades - refreshing and natural. Conveniently, you can pay both in cash and by card. A great place for lovers of Japanese cuisine!

In the summer, you can sit outside on the lively Berger Straße, with a lovely ambiance and very friendly, fast, and convincing service. We had a wonderful evening and would gladly come back anytime! The prices are absolutely reasonable.

One of the best places I've had delicious vegan sushi - definitely worth a try! I especially liked the miso soup with tofu and seaweed, I'm not usually a fan but this was great. The lunch menu was a pleasant surprise - everything was filling and reasonably priced. The refreshing signature drinks were also good, although their portions could be bigger. It's a bit cramped inside, but after the renovation they have a spacious room across the street with a nice atmosphere.

I celebrated my birthday buffet-style relatively spontaneously in the back area of ​​the restaurant with about 25 people. The planning together with the restaurant went excellently. The actual evening was sensational. The buffet was so impressive, an absolute feast for the eyes and the sushi was simply delicious. The service was impeccable and always responsive. All in all a really nice group, calm and attentive. Highly recommended.

We went for sushi today because the food was really great and the service was super friendly. Unfortunately, we had to listen to a supervisor shouting at an employee at the window at the back. We got our table quickly with a reservation on a Sunday evening. The service was very nice, but a bit inattentive, overwhelmed or not enough. Selection of fancy sushi was very nice, decoratively arranged and also delicious. What bothered me was the high price of the drinks for the already expensive sushi. The interior was really pretty, although some of the comfortable chairs were unfortunately a bit too big for the small space.

The sushi at Berger Streetfood was really good - creative, fresh and something different. The selection is diverse, there is something for everyone. The service was also great, friendly and quick. The only negative point: the shop is really quite crowded and cramped, which takes away from the coziness a bit. But it's still worth it for food!

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with the atmosphere and service this time. It was so loud that you could barely hold a conversation. We had to wait over 20 minutes. Wait for our reserved table. And then another 25 minutes. on the drinks and even longer on the food. Unfortunately the first beer was warm... But the sushi was, as always, delicious.

Very tasty and high quality sushi! We had dinner there on March 23, 2025. Since we didn't have a reservation, we had to wait outside until something became available. But then we got a nice seat in the restaurant. The ambience was very nice and pleasant. The service was also friendly and accommodating. We ordered a “Box for Share” for 55 euros. I think that's a fair price for high-quality and very tasty sushi. If you want quality and are willing to pay a little more, this is definitely the right place for you.

I eat there every week, now they have basically changed the soft drinks to smaller 0.2 bottles so that you have to buy 2 drinks if you eat a little more and overall they have increased the prices again quite a bit. The store is still full. But with a small Coke 0.2 for 4.20 the measure is now full. Very annoying and the store is always full anyway that wouldn't have been necessary. I will then reduce my stays significantly and I was there every Sunday for 60-70 euros. But 15% more just like that is too much.

For a long time I was convinced of the quality of the food and enjoyed visiting the restaurant. However, a lot has changed since the expansion, and unfortunately not for the better. The organization now seems much less structured, and the smooth process that I once valued seems to have been lost. There was a particularly unpleasant situation that unfortunately spoiled my appetite: I watched a cook come out of the toilet, still with gloves on his hands, and then wipe his nose with his hand. Hygiene should be a top priority in the catering industry, which is why this observation was unacceptable to me. Because of this experience we decided to go without eating and will not visit the restaurant again in the future. It is unfortunate to lose a previously treasured locality.

Berger Streetfood: A culinary highlight! I recently went to Berger Streetfood and absolutely loved it! The food was incredibly tasty and fresh, and the choice of dishes was varied and appealing. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and welcoming. You can tell that people work here with passion. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right. Whether for a quick lunch snack or a relaxed dinner – Berger Streetfood is definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes from the menu!

It's nice there but sushi came an hour later. Even with wine it took more than 20 minutes.

Everyone was nice so far but the store was extremely overpriced. The highlight is the woman with the curls who apparently has something to say. No hello, no smile, nothing. I'll put it this way: if I order food at McDonald's I don't expect anything, but if I leave almost €100 in the store then I at least want to feel welcome there. Sushi rather standard, lukewarm. Then you tend to forget. We didn't get a map, so we downloaded it from the internet and spoke to a waiter after he was serving guests who arrived some time after us. Then we waited about an hour for the food. What we didn't pack was packed for us. I think the store is great, but the service has been overwhelmed by the huge crowds for years.

I recently had the pleasure of eating at Berger Street Food sushi shop and would like to give special shout out to the employee, Gregory. He was very friendly, attentive and professional. Despite the hustle and bustle, he took time to serve us with a smile and ensure we were happy with our food. You can tell that he places a lot of value on good customer experience. The service was quick and extremely pleasant. I'll definitely be back - thanks to Gregory for the great experience!

I made a special reservation for my mother's birthday, who is visiting from Munich. Checked online to see if dogs were allowed. There was nothing there, so I had my little Pomeranian, who I can't and don't want to leave alone due to illness, with me. We were really looking forward to it, but when we got there we were first told that our table wasn't available yet, which would be a complaint if we had made a reservation, but we were also told that dogs weren't allowed. I mentioned that I specifically looked online and there was nothing there. The waiter said with a roll of his eyes that it was online. We have now gone to another sushi restaurant that doesn't have a problem with animals.

It looks like the place is getting bad reviews removed! Been there twice, both at different times - both times even with reservation the line was huge! had to wait 45min-60min to get seated - food served after another hour! Very badly managed, stressed waiters and unhappy customers. Thought second time would be better - but looks like its regular situation, do not recommend and wont go anymore.

The food really isn't bad, and this is actually the second time I've enjoyed going there. However, it is impossible to wait 1.5 hours for the food! Employees were constantly walking up and down past us and no one noticed that our hunger was increasing and our mood was sinking. It was only responded when someone was spoken to after these 1.5 hours. The information we received was that the order form was LOST?? I really wonder how long we would have sat there before even one of the employees thought it was strange that we had been sitting there for ages and received nothing. This impudence didn't even result in compensation. It's a shame that work is done so recklessly.

The food wasn't as good as the first visit. Unfortunately, we sat so closely that every time someone passed our table they bumped into my chair. That got annoying at some point. We also found it a bit outrageous that we ordered a bottle of water and an unsealed gas bottle with tap water arrived and was charged €6 for it...really outrageous. I went this restaurant several time. The food are very good but last experience was not good. I have small dog. I went there with my daughter and my dog. My dog was in the bag. He told me back tables are free then I asked him about front tables. Than he answered dog's are not allowed. After that I told him I will not come again but his answer was very bad. He told me that we don't care.

Unfortunately, the overall impression was significantly marred by the unprofessional behavior of some of the staff and the unpleasant atmosphere. We had made reservations for two people, arrived on time, but still had to wait outside for 25 minutes, while other guests without reservations got a table straight away. One particular employee stood out particularly negatively as she seemed unfriendly and uninterested. However, it must be said that not all the staff were like this - some staff clearly tried harder. Nevertheless, employees argued outside in front of the guests, which gave a very unprofessional picture. After waiting, we were led to a table that was in a far too narrow area right in the hallway. Guests and staff regularly walked past and bumped into our table. In addition, waiting guests were standing just a few centimeters away from us - an extremely unpleasant situation that marred the entire experience. The wait for the food was 50 minutes. The food was creative and quite tasty, but the ambience and service overshadowed any enjoyment. Conclusion: The food may be solid, but the poor organization and the behavior of some of the staff make Berger Streetfood not a place worth recommending. We didn't feel valued as guests and will definitely not be coming back.

We had high expectations when we visited this sushi restaurant with a group of 10 people to enjoy good food and a nice evening in good company. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. From the start we didn't feel welcome as guests. After a long wait we were finally brought the wrong dishes. The sauces we ordered, which were supposed to go with the sushi, only came at the very end, when our sushi was almost eaten - an absolute disgrace. To make matters worse, when we tried to order dessert we were actually told that it was no longer possible as they could give us “no more time”. Instead of hospitality and effort, we got the feeling that hectic and superficiality reigned here. We chose this restaurant because we heard the hype and supposedly good reviews. But this hype seems to come at the expense of the true values ​​of gastronomy: hospitality, service orientation and quality. For a restaurant that presents itself as high class, this experience was a bitter disappointment. As a group of people who wanted to spend a nice evening together, we were treated poorly and felt unwelcome. Absolutely no recommendation!

A younger waiter showed little patience and professionalism. While ordering, he appeared annoyed several times, rolled his eyes and made us feel that our request to label fish and meat sushi separately (because we had vegetarians in the group) was probably “too much”. Nevertheless, we received an incorrect order, which led to further waiting times. The entire experience was characterized by stress and hectic pace - completely different to what you would imagine a social evening to be. When we finished the main course, we were quickly dispatched. Some of us ordered dessert while the others were asked to pay directly and vacate the table as the next reservations were coming up. It felt like our visit was unwanted once we had consumed “enough.” No trace of hospitality. The food was positive: it tasted good and offered a decent selection even for non-sushi eaters. However, the poor organization and disrespectful service are serious. A visit to a restaurant should not only offer good food, but also atmosphere and warmth - especially when you as a family have a rare opportunity to spend time together. Unfortunately, this evening was spoiled by the lack of hospitality. It's a real shame because the potential is there.

I can only recommend the platters for two (currently around 50 euros for 40 pieces) as vegan or with fish, as the numerous offerings can be a bit overwhelming.
